**Dear Future Robots is an audio-visual time capsule addressed to the Future, from a Human perspective. You will be challenged, I won't lie to you. Heck, I challenge my own thoughts on a daily basis. How is growth possible without this? We live in a society where people actually strive and grind just for the pleasure of fitting in...that concept is lost on me. For the new listeners, Welcome...you are joining at a great time in the evolution of this show...For my Today-People that have become apart of the Family, I have nothing but love and respect for you deciding to go on this journey with me. Dear Future Robots: Question of the Day is how I like to get this time-capsule started. It's always gonna be a question directed towards the Future about something that i'm curious about...give or take. My Philosophy is literally an exhibit for my thoughts, philosophies, & even dialogues. In other words, a better TedTalk. Scrap Metal Media is the news given to you podcast style..you didn't even know you needed that. This will help change the way that we consume news media. They tell you to keep your opinions to yourself and just present the facts...that's because they wrote, said facts. Take it or leave it. All News is two-faced anyways. Let's talk about mistakes. It can be a very scary thing for learners. My Philosophy is that as long as you are understood, mistakes are not worth correcting. What I mean is that you are better off spending the time you would spend on collecting your mistakes by immersing yourself more and practising more. Especially if you are a beginner and that you're still making a lot of mistakes. Because when the amount of mistakes that you are making is big, The time you would spend to correct every single mistake is too big. So overall mistakes are not as important as you think and what's more, typically, students focus on collecting the wrong kinds of mistakes. Because yes there is hierarchy of mistakes. Some mistakes are going to get in the way of your communication more than others. So today, let's talk about the kinds of mistakes that you want to correct in priority. From Eating Tree Bark to Richest Man In South Korea. Born of This Land: My Life Story by Chung Ju-yung. Founders #117 The most inspiring autobiography I've read: Chung Ju-yung the Founder of Hyundai Apr 04 2022 83 mins What I learned from reading Born of This Land: My Life Story by Chung Ju-yung. Upgrade to start learning from history's greatest entrepreneurs. You will immediately gain access to 247 full length episodes. About the Book “As a businessman and a hard working laborer born of this land, I feel an infinite sense of pride that I have contributed my share to this country's breakthrough.” – Chung Ju-yung Born of This Land: My Life Story is an English translation of the Chung Ju-yung's autobiography. Chung ju-yung is the founding chairman of the Hyundai Group. The story begins with the escape from his home to the beginning of Chung's first auto repair shop. Chung's personal account of the construction of Soyang River Dam and the Seoul-Busan Expressway, establishment of Hyundai Motors and Hyundai Heavy Industries, and Seosan Reclamation Project are included in the book. Through Chung's account, we will gain a deeply personal insight into the man who contributed to the Miracle on the Han River. About the Author Chung Ju-yung(1915.11.25~2001.03.21) is the founder of Hyundai, which included the global consumer brand Hyundai Motor Company, one of the world's foremost shipbuilders Hyundai Heavy Industries, and a large number of other affiliates. Born on November 25, 1915 in Tongcheon County, Gangwon Province, in what is now North Korea, Chung ran several small businesses prior to Korea's liberation from Japanese colonialism in 1945. In 1946, he founded the Hyundai Motor Service Center, and the next year Hyundai Construction Company. These two businesses would blossom into the bedrock of one of Korea's industrial titans. Chung presided over the Hyundai group during South Korea's rise from being one of the world's poorest nations to now one of its richest. Aside from his many achievements in the world of business, he also helped secure the 1988 Olympics for Seoul and sought to improve relations with North Korea through public diplomacy. Tap into eons of knowledge and experiences, condensed into digestible portions. Highly, highly recommend. “Uniquely outstanding. No fluff and all substance. David does an outstanding job summarizing these biographies and hones in on the elements that make his subjects so unique among entrepreneurs. I particularly enjoy that he focuses on both the founder's positive and negative characteristics as a way of highlighting things to mimic and avoid.” “I just paid for my first premium podcast subscription for Founders podcast. Learning from those who came before us is one of the highest value ways to invest time. David does his homework and exponentially improves my efficiency by focusing on the most valuable lessons.” “I haven't found a better return on my time and money than your podcast for inspiration and time-tested wisdom to help me on my journey. “I've now listened to every episode. From this knowledge I've doubled my business to $500k a year. Love your passion and recommend your podcast to everyone.” “Founders is the only podcast I pay for and it's worth 100x the cost.” “I have listened to many podcasts on entrepreneurship (HIBT, Masters of Scale, etc.) and find Founders to be consistently more helpful than any other entrepreneurship podcast. David is a craftsperson, he carefully reads biographies of founders, distills the most important anecdotes and themes from their life, and draws commonalities across lives. David's focus is rightfully not on teaching you a formula to succeed but on constantly pushing you to think different.” “I highly highly recommend this podcast. Holy cow. I've been binge listening to these and you start to see patterns across all these incredible humans.” Listening to your podcast has changed my life and that is not a statement I make often. “After one episode I quickly joined the Misfit feed. Love the insight and thoughts shared along the way. David loves what he does and it shines through on the podcast. Definitely my go-to podcast now.” “It is worth every penny. I cannot put into words how fantastic this podcast is. Just stop reading this and get the full access.” “Personally it's one of my top 3 favorite podcasts. If you're into business and startups and technology, this is for you. David covers good books and I've come to really appreciate his perspective. Can't say enough good things.” “I quickly subscribed and it's honestly been the best money I've spent all year. It has inspired me to read biographies. Highly recommend.” “This is the most inspirational and best business podcast out there. David has inspired me to focus on biographies rather than general business books. I'm addicted.” “Anyone interested in business must find the time to listen to each any every Founders podcast. A high return on investment will be a virtual certainty. Subscribe and start listening as soon as possible.” “David saves you hundreds of hours by summarizing bios of legendary business founders and providing valuable insight on what makes an individual successful. He has introduced me to many founders I would have never known existed.” “The podcasts offer spectacular lessons on life, human nature and business achievement. David's enthusiasm and personal thoughts bring me joy. My journey has been enhanced by his efforts.” "Founders is the best self investment that I've made in years." Brandon Gilmore and Marco Figueroa: Where are the Young Black and Brown Men in Cyberscurity? Photo by F. Scott Schafer Let us begin, what, where, why or when Will all be explained like instructions to a game See I'm not insane, in fact I'm kind of rational When I be asking you, "Who is more dramatical?" This one or that one, the white one or the black one Pick the punk and I'll jump up to attack one -- KRS One; My Philosophy, 1989 Want to have a fun and easy conversation? Let's talk about race in the world if cybersecurity. Let's go with some numbers… According to the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals, the cybersecurity workforce looks like this. 6% African American 7% Hispanic The total U.S. workforce is 11% Black and 15% Latinx by comparison. Who better to jump into this conversation than a right handed, blue-eyed, US born, white straight CIS-male… I don't pretend know much about this… but I know people who do because they have fought the battles and are providing the opportunities. On this episode of pm73media, Matt Stephenson welcomes in Brandon Gilmore and Marco Figueroa for a blunt conversation on opportunities in tech for young Black and Brown men. They are both going to be point blank honest on their experiences, opinions of the industry and what they have done and are doing to make our business look more like the rest of the world that surrounds it. Dig it About Brandon Gilmore Brandon Gilmore has been a noteworthy leader and talent in the public sector industry with experience in cybersecurity and intelligent automation. Led by three core values - faith, family, and collaboration - he regularly engages with decision-makers on initiatives that center around strengthening our nation against digital threats and preparing the 21st-century workforce. You may know him from his work as Federal Marketing Manager at Alteryx, but Brandon is also the founder of Ready Rock Institute of Technology. This non-profit focuses on creating pathways for underprivileged youth through STEM. Creating diversity, shortening the income/wealth gap, and uplifting communities out of poverty. Over the course of his career, Brandon has aided and mentored dozens of young men who have since gone on to college, entered the STEM field, become entrepreneurs, and gone on to play professional sports. He was born and raised in Mansfield Ohio and holds a degree from Ashland University. About Marco Figueroa Marco Figueroa is Head of Product at BreachQuest. His technical expertise includes reverse engineering of malware, incident handling, hacker attacks, tools, techniques, and defenses. Marco has performed numerous security assessments and responded to computer attacks for clients in various market verticals. He has been a speaker at Defcon, Hope, and other security and hacker conferences. About Matt Stephenson My name is Matt Stephenson (@packmatt73) and I have hosted podcasts, videos and live events all over the world which put me with experts on every corner of the cybersecurity landscape. pm73media is my first solo endeavor. On this platform and others to come, I will continue to expand upon the tradition we started with the Insecurity podcast as I seek out the leading minds in the tech industry and beyond. I am always looking for fun people who may break things every now and again. In 20 years in the ecosystem of Data Protection and Cybersecurity I have toured the world extolling the virtues of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and how, when applied to information security, these technologies can wrong-foot the bad guys. Whether in person, live virtual events or podcasting, I get to interview interesting people doing interesting things all over the world of technology and the extended world of hacking. Sometimes, that means hacking elections or the coffee supply chain... other times that means social manipulation or the sovereign wealth fund of a national economy. Wherever I go, my job is all about talking with the people who build, manage or wreck the systems that we have put in place to make the world go round... If you tuned in to any of my previous podcasts, there's great news… pm73media is here! I will be bringing the same kind of energy and array of guests you know and love. Best part? We're still at the same spot. You can find it at Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music & Audible as well as GooglePlay, Gaana, Himalaya, I Heart Radio and wherever you get your podcasts! KRS-ONE is a household name in the world of hip hop, a larger than life pioneer from hip-hop's Golden Era dating back to the 1980s, and there are plenty of articles and podcasts centered around his most influential and important songs, both as a solo artist and as the emcee for BDP, some of which include “MCs Act Like They Don't Know” (1995), “My Philosophy” (1988), “Step Into a World” (1997) and, of course, the breakout track “The Bridge is Over” (1987).This episode instead focuses on his use of the literary device repetition. We'll take a look at his 30+ year career and examine his use of the writing strategy as I encourage educators to study his poetry in the classroom.

In today's episode, we begin to answer some of the many questions sent to us by listeners. Can we be born in the wrong body? Do parental role models influence children to reject or seek transition? What is the impact of a trans partner on a teenagers' sexuality? How do siblings of trans people experience these changes in the family? Listen in to see if your question was answered and how Sasha and Stella plan to explore these topics in future episodes. Let's talk! Born in the wrong body? How is that different from those with disabilities? What does it mean to be in the “wrong body”? Stella and Sasha discuss. You cannot let yourself be defined by your disability or your abnormal face. Stella asks some interesting questions about people who undergo drastic cosmetic surgery. Is it the new normal to just drastically change your appearance? Sasha shares interesting cosmetic surgery trends that we're now seeing in our society. How do you really know you're born in the wrong body vs. just being unhappy with your body? Next question! This listener's teenage daughter is dating a girl that identifies as a boy. This mother has some questions on what this all means. This listener is curious if her parenting style has had an impact on her daughter's rebellious tendencies to reject her own gender identity. It's normal for a daughter to not be a carbon copy of the mother. Don't blame yourself for your daughter's gender identity. Parents often put their own needs on the backburner when they have a child. Next question: How do you talk to siblings about their gender dysphoria? Birth order is important. Was the child who is transitioning older or younger? This can affect siblings differently. Parents are trying so hard to give their resources to their trans child, but siblings are sitting on the sidelines keeping their questions to themselves because they see how much conflict this is giving everyone. Listeners share some of their favorite episodes, and even ones they've shared with their children. Sasha and Stella share some upcoming episodes that they have in the works right now! Last week, we discussed the importance of 1988 in hip hop culture, both in the way it evolved musically and how it provided a realistic portrayal of life in the inner cities. In part one, we discussed Slick Rick's “Children Story”, N.W.A.'s “Straight Outta Compton”, and Boogie Down Productions' “My Philosophy”. On Episode 101 of “That’s What I’m Saying!” the podcast, the Ratchet Minute starts off with the infinity stone planted in Lil Uzi Vert’s forehead and the tragedy turned miracle of the industrial grade gorilla snot that ended up on Tessica Brown’s crown. The sisters then transition into the Woke Minute that started off ratchet when discussing Brittney Spears and her “Oops I Did It Again” era that turned serious when discussing celebrities and mental health as well as uncovering the poisoning of Florida’s water system. (33:01 ) On the Weekend D**k Report, the sisters give advice to a listener thinking of cutting off her friend for lying about her divorce. (45:13) On That’s My Jam, Shaun takes us back to 1988 to KRS-One’s My Philosophy. (44:47)The episode ends with the sisters showing their support for the black-owned watch company, Talley & Twine.

Hiring the first driver for your trucking company is a huge step, and you don't want to screw it up. It is one of the most critical steps you will take if you want to grow your company. This is the first episode of a three-part series on hiring a driver. In the next episode, we will talk about how to classify your driver, as an employee or independent contractor. This is always one of the hottest topics in the trucking industry. The third installment will cover the actual process, the nuts and bolts. What To Expect From Episode 49 We talk about several subjects in this episode. Here is an outline of what we cover. Is Hiring a Driver the Right Move For Me and My Business? You have to ask yourself if this is something you want to take on. Like almost everything in life, there are pros and cons. There are several things you need to consider like: Why would I want to? Do I have what it takes to be an employer? As far as having what it takes, some skills can definitely be learned, but being a manager/employer is hard. There are several different skill-sets required, and often, they are a bit conflicting. Most people are good at one or the other, but fewer are truly great people managers who are good at both. My Philosophy on Working With Employees "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" applies in this situation, like so many others. One of the keys to success is taking your time, don't rush the process or you are likely to end up with buyer's remorse. We talk a lot about establishing a foundation of trust. I talk about one of my favorite business books, "The Speed of Trust" by Stephen M.R. Covey. If you have not read it, you should. It is very eye opening. When you have employees you can trust and they trust you, magic happens. Getting to that point can be a challenge, but it is well worth it. We also talk about putting the trust ball in your driver's court. Let their behavior and actions dictate how they are treated.

"My Philosophy is actually pretty simple. I got into wrestling, and I want to leave it better than I found it. That's all I want to do. No matter where I go, what I do, who I teach or what I do for the rest of my life - once I leave wrestling, I want to leave a positive impact. Whether it be through matches, through my students, through the stories I'm trying to tell, the social media posts, I want to show people that it's okay to be hated, not do good, or mess up. Just get up the next day and keep going." - Serpentico It was absolutely awesome to catch up with one of our all time favorite guests, the Elev8 Pro and Pro Wrestling After Dark Champion, Serpentico. We’re revisiting an old topic. For long time listeners, you’ll remember episode 4: My Philosophy, the Sun and Moon in which I talked about fractals and their connection to astrology. Many moons later, as I have come into a greater understanding of fractality...I’ve decided to share with simpler terms. I’ll answer 3 questions: What are fractals? How do they relate to social justice and subsequently, how do they relate to astrology AND social justice? Why do we start Leo season with this conversation? All this will be answered in less than 40 minutes. I know, I know...me talking for less than 1 hr...impossible. Well, today I did it. Enjoy. So this the first and only episode of the self development with tactics / SDWT podcast does all about "My Philosophy for successful living" by Jim Rohn which is as the name also says a book about having a successful life but not necessarily in terms of a wealthy life. I really like this book summary because there's so much energy that I also stand for. why did you go through the whole episode with me maybe also on the podcast episode if you do not have the time to watch the video. However it's basically all about: why the marketplace decides what your product is worth, a great business always involves helping people with a problem, why always looking for success is not necessarily the way to go and how focusing your your thoughts determines whether there is good or bad. - I as always hope that you get a lot out of that! - Love you ➠Thank you for being with me! “Whoever’s within earshot are my people - that’s my curatorial sense for a world of music and experience - I want everybody to understand. Music is universal and that’s what I’m dedicating my life to. Every culture has their own take on it. It’s infinite, you’ll never hear it all. It’s everywhere. It’s like church to me. I want everybody to come in.” -Larry Mizell, Jr. In this TAMP episode, Mizell Jr. talks with poet Colin Walker about his unexpected career in the arts, why he loves what he does, and how he’s built his audience by following his passion for music and community. Porpoise Crispy PodcastVolume #3 Episode #8 Don't wipe the sweat off your instrument Curated by Sam Hammich January 28, 2015 Conversation from Sunday: FG: Your podcast is called Porpoise Crispy?
