That's important. If you can't define that, you're going to waste some valuable years. Our later years we can do so much and achieve so much and enjoy life so much. Look for things that you enjoy doing. Look for the things that affect you emotionally and define that purpose. Look for it and find it. What do you want to achieve?  What can you do to make the world a better place? And do it. If you can get paid for it, that's great. If you do it as a volunteer, that's great too." On Challenge "We need to challenge ourselves on a regular basis. Let's not be complacent with our lives. There's so much out there, so much a life we have to live. And the more we challenge ourselves, those mountains we climb, not Everest, but the other mountains we have in front of us that we can climb, that make us stronger. Tthat makes us enjoy the victories and helps us enjoy the victories. We've got to pursue those things. That's my philosophy." On Working in Later Life "Just because we're aging doesn't mean we can't do different jobs. Today, we age a whole lot stronger. I started to say slower, but our mental capacity is stronger. I think for the most part, we're smarter. I think we're stronger physically, or we can be, and we should be. We're living longer, obviously, so let's give us a chance to be productive as we age. And what I really like about that definition is that unlike some specific personal goals that we may have, it extends beyond aims of personal meaning to a desire that we want to make a difference in the world. And so therefore, it's self transcendent in nature. What the research demonstrates is that having a sense of purpose is associated with a host of benefits across the lifespan as well as later in life. When we think about how life purpose can be beneficial throughout our lives, one of the most overarching benefits is that it really helps us live with greater intentionality in how we spend our days and to remain true to ourselves while benefiting the greater good. And so, in a way, we can think about purpose as a guide that takes us in the right direction. And I know that you had one of your earlier conversations was with Bill Damon out of Stanford, the renowned developmental psychologist, and he likens purpose to an ultimate concern or a final answer to the question of why. So why am I doing this? Why am I striving to accomplish this end? And in that way, purpose is the reason behind our immediate goals, and it's a motive that drives most of our daily behaviors." On Storytelling  "...when we think about the contributions that we want to make through our stories, we not only have an ability to really impact youth when it comes to the wisdom that we're passing on, but we also see as we tell our stories that our lives have purpose....And with that, when we think about the stories that we have and when we are afforded time, especially later in life, to really do an inventory of our life, we have an ability to carry our life lessons and experiences with us. And not only do we bring them with us, but they provide a rich opportunity for learning about how we might want to build a rewarding future and repeat some of the things that worked well i...

I like to define right-sizing as moving to or creating a home that is the perfect physical, emotional, social and financial fit. So I think about four puzzle pieces, the physical...the emotional... the social and  it's got to be financially comfortable for you, obviously, or that's not going to work. So all that has to click. What happens is that people get to the sort of freedom threshold, their late fifties, early sixties where they are no longer commuting to a job. They may have bought the house they live in because it was near their work or near their kids' schools or the schools they wanted their kids to attend. And fast forward 20, 30 years we're about where you are and the kids are out of the house. The schools don't really matter to you anymore or at all, and you are working remotely or you're retired or you're planning to retire or you can work from anywhere. And so why are you living in this house that has five bedrooms and you still have your kids' Cub Scout uniforms in the attic? I mean, this is nuts. So really start envisioning what would you do. What would it look like? What would your house be like? Do you want more bedrooms so you can have the grandkids stay with you? Do you want fewer because nobody's coming anymore? You want to lock and go travel?" On Challenges in Rightsizing "The biggest obstacles I hear people have are it's just too much trouble. I have too much furniture, or there are too many memories here. And this sort of complacency kicks in this inertia and people get weighed down by stuff. It makes me sad that their stuff would be preventing them from living their best life in the best place for them. Welcome to episode 49 of the School of Intention Podcast: "Five Ways to Become an Innovative Breakthrough Maker." This is the energy of 2024 and beyond. In our last episode with Clarice Monahan, the astrologer extraordinaire, we delved into 2024 astrology, emphasizing innovation. Whether it's doing things better, making them easier, or tapping into your genius energy, this is a year to innovate across all aspects of life. In my experience innovating the Feng Shui method over the last 20 years, and in life where there's no rulebook, I've identified steps that work. The first is to experiment without getting hung up on outcomes. Take creative risks, try new things, and embrace the unknown. Becoming obsessed with the process, not just the results, is crucial. Love your creative process, as true innovation is a journey, not an overnight endeavor. Document your results. Keeping track of what works and what doesn't provides valuable insights and patterns that accelerate innovation. Update and upgrade your environment's energy. Your surroundings significantly impact your ability to innovate. Keep your space organized, clear, and energized for optimal creativity. Finally, lean into solutions instead of getting stuck on problems. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and learning, becoming a solution-oriented individual. These strategies may not be groundbreaking, but their power lies in their application. Choose an area in your life to innovate, experiment, and watch the magic unfold. Conner Boyack is best known for the bestselling Tuttle Twins book series and is President of Libertas Institute. I am excited to have Conner on the podcast today, not because of the Tuttle Twins, but because he wrote a history book that tells the true story of America in a way kids will understand. None of the history books being used today teach about the ideas that led to America's founding. They only teach factoids and none of them explain why kids today should care about any of it. They don't even attempt to make history relatable to our modern times or give examples of why history should matter to kids. If we're supposed to learn from history and not just about it, then we have to talk about the different ideas, philosophies and influences that led the colonists to pick a fight with the world's greatest superpower and what followed.    I learned so many things, I was never taught in school as well. This is a book every adult, whether you are a: parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle needs to have one available for the children in their lives. This is a powerful tool to empower the next generation and make our world a better place as both adults and children engage.   The History Book is Currently on Sale.   Connect with Conner and buy the books on his website here: https://tuttletwins.com/ Check out the history book here:  https://tuttletwins.com/history Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TuttleTwins/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tuttle_twins/ Early Registration for the Dare2Hear: Hearing from God,” Part 1 online zoom class is open. We set these rules and parameters in our minds for just how bad things have to get for us to quit. Then we unknowingly self sabotage until those conditions are met so we can in fact justifiably quit. This is a chance to go DEEP within yourself and ask if you are really truly invested in what you say you desire regardless of the outcomes. I'm getting really honest with you here today and I hope it speaks to your soul. I'm thinking about them as husbands. I'm not just thinking about them as my kids with some obligation I have to mention Jesus as we put them to bed. But I'm trying to grow men." 9:22 - Choosing scriptures for his kids. "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like a man and be strong and let everything you do be done in love.".... "Be strong, show yourself a man, keep the charge of the Lord, your God, walk in his ways and statutes." ...."He's told you, O man, what's good and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love, kindness and walk humbly with your God." 11:50 -  "I believe is that there's a countercultural nature to the way Christians are called to parent, to lead, to live, and that's that we are not of the world, even though we're in the world, it's that we will be hated because Jesus is hated." 12:20 - I want them to stand by what they believe, regardless of what the world would say about it or how small the minority of people is who believe that." 13:05 - "Do Griffins follow the crowd? And my sons will say that to me only if the crowd is following Jesus." 14:12 - Book: Family Discipleship and the idea of being "dads who take the lead."  16:22 - "If when you think about leading your wife or you think about leading your kids, you're thinking about how can I lay down the gifts God has given me of strength or wisdom or insight or of time in order to meet the needs of those people that the Lord has me living with right now? And so leadership, to me, it has to be servant-hearted and it has to be service-oriented because that's the way we see Jesus lead and that's what he's called us to do." 17:22 - Family discipleship - Critically important, but mostly ordinary. 18:38 -  "So what they need from you, dads, is a demonstration of what it looks like to be an imperfect person who follows a perfect God. They don't need you to be their savior. They have that in Jesus Christ. But what they what you can serve is an example of like, well, here's how dad makes mistakes and repents. Here's how dad tries and fails. Here's how dad tries and succeeds." 20:45 - Modeling, Time, Moments, Milestones - the framework for discipleship 22:32 - "And it's in those significant times where it's going to be memorable that we have the opportunity to point to God's faithfulness, no matter what the circumstances, and to create something bigger." 23:55 - I really believe in the concept of family discipleship that we help you walk through. What is modeling look like in your house? When are you going to do family discipleship time? What language can you use in your household around moments? And then what's your plan for milestones? What do you want to build towards or when you want to be doing? 27:51 - Quote from Charles Spurgeon, "we sow, we reap... Let us expect our children to know the Lord. Let us from the beginning, mingle the name of Jesus with their ABCs."  - making family discipleship as important as education. 30:43 - Quote from Charles Spurgeon - "Aspire, dear brethren, to shine widely as a candle set upon a candle stick gives light to all that are in the house. First see to it that you are truly saved yourselves. Then cry out, cry to the Lord for your own kith and kin and labor for them until they are brought to the redeemers feet and then let your light shine throughout the neighborhoods where you dwell. It is. It is a poor lamp which cannot be seen outside its own glass." 34:59 - Deut 6 - Be diligent in impressing these things to our children. Deut 4 - Be diligent in the care of our souls.   Episode Links:   Adam Griffin - https://www.eastsidedallas.org/adam Book - Family Discipleship: Leading Your Home through Time, Moments, and Milestones Make a Donation to dadAWESOME Join the dadAWESOME Prayer Team   Conversation Transcript:

In today's episode I share one of my favorite threads of the Yoga Sutra. Pratipaksha Bhavana: “When negativity arises, cultivate the opposite” or “mindfulness of opposites.” Opposites are the core of everything I teach in yoga. Postures are either active or passive. Moving or still. Strengthening or stretching. Sometimes many of these things at once. Is your low back in pain? Look to the opposite side of the body. A good place to start is the transverse abdominals - the deep core muscles that support the torso are often weak. An issue I didn’t realize I had until years into my practice. Now I know when I’m tense in an area of my body it’s likely due to some sort of imbalance. The imbalance is always unique to the situation and individual - but it’s a good place to start. Resolving the imbalance requires some experimentation. To explore the polarities of strength & flexibility, movement & stillness, active & passive. In short: stihra & sukha. This applies to the mind and emotions too. In my early 20s I struggled with depression. It wasn't until I found out about gratitude journaling that things started to shift. Instead of focusing on what wasn't working, I began to seek out what was working. I tended to be more cynical and judgmental back then. This new practice got me to cultivate the opposite polarity. It wasn't fake or forced either. Each day I found 3 things I felt genuine gratitude for. Soon it got me excited for each day. This lead to me trying things outside of my comfort zone, including my first yoga class. I didn't know about pratipaksha bahavana - or any of these concepts - but it is what got me out of my depression. I can look back now and see I had cultivated a state. Every time I complained, judged, compared and wished I was something I wasn’t. I was cultivating a more depressed state of mind. A more cynical state. The gratitude practice helped me cultivate the opposite. It was slow. It was small. It didn’t happen in a week, or a month. But over a decade later I am a much different person. I still have cynical and depressed thoughts at times. The difference is now I know I have a choice. I can choose to cultivate that state, or I can choose its opposite. My intention is that this practice reminds you that you always have a choice in your thoughts as well. We all have our lows and our negative thoughts at times, that's okay. If you start to feel stuck, though, this yoga sutra "pratipaksha bhavana" can be a reminder of how to get unstuck. ----------------------------------------------------------- Early Registration closes in 2 WEEKS for Mindful New Year - an online & in person retreat - Jan 17th - Yoga, Ayurveda & Vedic Astrology - Learn more at http://www.mindfulnewyear.com Support Quietmind Yoga - The only weekly yoga practice podcast - and one of the only approaches to yoga that addresses often overlooked issues in yoga practice such as hamstring strengthening, integrating yoga history and philosophy, and maintaining a diverse and evolving practice. They determine a competitor’s category, making sure lengths are accurate and what’s presented matches the criteria for your category. He’s competed most notably in Hungarian Moustache, where he took 4th Place at the 2017 World Beard & Moustache Championships (WBMC) in Austin, and 1st Place at the 2016 Great American Beard & Moustache Championship (GABMC) in Denver. He’s been competing since 2011, where he showed up to the Queen City Beard & Moustache Federation’s competition with a six-week-old baby beard, and made a big splash at the 2012 Beard Team USA Nationals in Las Vegas placing in the Top 10 in Garibaldi. He’s served as Queen Ambassador and as president for the last two years of the QCBMF, an organization which has so far raised over $81,000 for local charities in Southwest Missouri. Please welcome Missouri’s Bill Petersen! * In case you were wondering what those 11 were:  - Business Beard Under 2" - Full Beard Under 6” or Under 8” (depending on the comp) - Over 8" - Over 12" - Full Beard Style Moustache - Full Beard Freestyle - Chops - Whaler - Partial Beard Freestyle - Natural Moustache, and  - Styled Moustache    credit: Jeffrey Moustache for The World of Beards   Taxi Phil   He is the co-founder and current president of the Cincinnati Beard Barons. Phil has been sporting a handlebar moustache for nearly 30 years. He and his iconic ‘stache started competing over 10 years ago. In this last decade, he has claimed numerous awards, and has had the honor of judging over a dozen bearding events. At the recent 2017 WBMC in Austin, Phil claimed the title of 3rd Place in the Freestyle Moustache category. As if that all wasn’t enough, he is also a sponsored ambassador for the MEAN BEARD Company of Batavia, Ohio. At the core of it all, Phil says that the fantastic people, incredible charities, and amazing friendships he’s made over the years, have kept him coming back for more. He looks forward to many more years of being a part of the bearding community. Please welcome Ohio’s "Taxi Phil" Jones! September will be here before you know it. She attended her first World Beard and Moustache Championship with her husband Aarne back in 2009 in Anchorage and they have made it to every WBMC since. A seasoned judge and competitor since 2011, Rita’s competed and placed at dozens of competitions all over the country. In 2013 in Germany, she placed at the first and only (so far) Whiskerina event in Europe. Aside from being the resident cat lady, she enjoy reading science fiction, and likes to sew, craft, and oil paint, along with gardening and traveling. Though recently much of her and Aarne’s time has been devoted to rebuilding and cleaning up their property after losing their outlying structures, water system, and vehicles in last fall’s firestorms that swept through that region. Their house was amazingly spared, but there’s still much work to be done before their home is anywhere back to normal. Rita loves all of the wonderful friends she has made from all over the world, where every comp is like going to a big family reunion, only with the best family you could have. A prodigious freestyler with about 50 different freestyle designs since April 2013, he’s been growing his beard for about 6 years without trimming, and plan to just let it grow! He’s judged in competitions throughout the western U.S. and placed 5th in Full Beard Freestyle at the 2017 WBMC in Austin. Sponsored by Mariner Jack, Greg’s also a stay at home dad, who homeschools his two wonderful daughters. In his spare time he works at Shades of Pale Brewing, and previously has been a professional ballet dancer, a ballet teacher, a deck construction worker, and a parking attendant. Dedicated to his Whaler beard, he first got into bearding 2014 when he finally got up the nerve to go to a meeting. The community quickly became something he loved, and threw himself into it because of the people involved and charity aspect. Over the past 6 years, and with his guidance through several years, WBMA - World Beard and Moustache Association member club Spokane Beard & Mustache has raised over $75,000 for local charities. Jeremy’s traveling has been limited due to multiple back surgeries, but has managed to take home several partial beard trophies over the years and judged at competitions in the U.S. and Canada, not to mention learning from some of the best judges around at Spokane’s own competition over the years. A devoted fan of Montucky Cold Snacks (a brand of Northwest lager that donates 8% back to local causes), he’s been a Teamster Warehouseman for 22 years, and married to his wife Heather for 18. They have 2 kids, Taylor (26) and Chloe (19), and they now enjoy their empty nest if you don’t count Otis (6), their 150 lb. Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. He is currently the World Champion in the Full Beard Freestyle category and was awarded “Best in Show” at the 2017 WBMC in Austin. After a tidal wave of public support, he’s been a member of Remington’s Beard Boss team for the past two years. A man of creative and artistic talent, he got his start in beard competitions back in 2013, and since then has had the opportunity to spend a lot of time on both sides of the judging table. He has racked up many 1st Place finishes in Full Beard Freestyle and Full Beard Groomed categories at numerous competitions across the country. Outside of bearding, Jason owns and operates One Eyed Cat Curiosities and Crafts, a handmade functional ceramics business that specializes in cups and mugs with moustache guards. Best known as a member and founder of metal band Lamb of God and Grammy Award winning member of Megadeth, Chris began Lamb of God in 1994 under the moniker Burn the Priest with dorm-mate, best friend, and it’s current bass player, John Campbell. Both previously served as judges at the RVA Beard League’s annual charity competition, the Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Championships. Chris became a member of thrash metal band Megadeth from 2014-2016, collaborating and working closely with Megadeth’s primary songwriter and founder, Dave Mustaine and is credited in helping write their 15th album, “Dystopia.” Chris performed most live world-wide touring dates in support of that album. In his 5th Grammy nomination, "Dystopia" won Chris his first Grammy Award for the Best Metal Performance at the 59th Grammy Awards. In 2006 Adler collaborated with revered progressive guitarist Ron Jarzombek beginning the project Blotted Science, and in 2010, Adler moved to Toronto for 6 weeks and recorded and helped write the album "Volition" with the progressive metal band Protest The Hero. The album went on to win and provide Chris his first Juno Award (the Canadian equivalent to the U.S. Grammy). In 2014 he contributed several drum tracks to the Testament album “Dark Roots of the Earth.” In 2016 Adler recorded three songs with Jim Gillette, Michael Angelo Batio, and Victor Wooten in a California studio for a Nitro reunion album. As of October 2017, he left the Nitro reunion project to focus on a mid-2018 release and tour with Lamb of God. He is the elder brother of bandmate and guitarist Willie Adler (Official), whom he brought into the band. Prior to his work in Burn the Priest/Lamb of God, Chris played in several local bands including Calibra, Jettison Charlie, and Grouser. In this SMB Community Podcast, I am joined by Justin Esgar. He runs an MSP business in New York City called Virtua Computers. They focus primarily on Apple computers. Justin runs a conference called ACES that will be held in Baltimore, MD May 9-10, 2018. More information at http://www.acesconf.com/karl. The ACES conference evolved because Justin realized that the technology conferences he was attending we focused on technology more than business. So he got together a bunch of IT professionals for a conference. And while it started out primarily among Mac consultants, the content is very business focused – so the hardware is really not relevant. Note: Justin is offering a 10% discount on registration. Use the link above and enter the coupon code “karl” at checkout. Early Registration pricing ends March 1st. The coupon code is still good after that, but the base will be higher. SHE Talks

When we’re up against something big in life (which only seems to happen more frequently, with more intensity, as we get older), we need a different approach to scale the seemingly unsurmountable walls that Life places on our paths. We don’t need to become better problem-solvers. Nor do we need to become better people, necessarily. No: we need to move in the opposite direction. We need to stop trying so darn hard. To stop taking ourselves so seriously. We need to revive our little girl magic. Yes! We need to, once again, trust and believe. It’s in this place of surrender to something greater than us that our spiritual path really begins. And it’s in this disposition of faith, that we can finally step off the hamster wheel of incessant self-improvement and allow real, deep, lasting transformation to take root. Welcome to the “ascending” dimension of the Heroine’s Journey, the shooting star to spiritual freedom. And this is the fourth (and final) Bubble Bath Wisdom talk I’ll share before we resume this series after the New Year…. Bubble Bath Wisdom #4: How to Live a SHE-Centered Life In this SHE talk, recorded during the midpoint of our SHE Retreat in Mexico, I shared: *How to shift from living from your small, conditioned self, to living from your higher Self, or your SHE. *Ways to create a harmonious inner family, and thus a more balanced outer life. *The most erotic love affair you’ll ever have. *What to do when life serves you something that seems insurmountable. Today, bring your Inner Little Girl along (don’t let her forget her magic wand!), and let’s take a closer look at how to craft a more heartfelt, effective approach to our most pressing problems. Deep exhale. Was that wisdom talk just what you needed to slow down, re-center, and reconnect to the sacred wholeness of your feminine being? I hope so, dear sister. We women need to build rest, contemplative quiet, and loving connection into our lives. And it’s incredible what 20 minutes here or there can do. Imagine what would be possible in your life if you put this kind of pampering and spiritual practice on autopilot in 2016. If you had regular mini-retreats, daily self-care rituals, fiercely loving mentorship, and a supportive community to keep what matters most on your front burner. That’s just the beginning of The SHE School 2016: a 9-month spiritual practice community for women. We begin our collective Heroine’s Journey in February, but if your heart is already a YES, I’m sharing a beautiful collection of early registration gifts: a LIVE tele-cast Visioning 2016 ritual, a Life Design playbook (where I share my favorite tools for health, life, business, and love), my women’s yoga and meditation kits, and more. If you’re ready to transform in the year ahead… and your butterfly chrysalis feels a little lonely (or confusing!), I’d love to welcome you to our growing circle. Our doors are open for Early Registration until December 12 … and I can’t wait to welcome you. Click here to learn about The SHE School 2016: www.TheSHESchool.com

She didn’t see how badly she was hurting herself. “I feel like I should be able to handle this,” she admitted. “I mean, she does so much for me. Who am I to complain?” We were halfway through our mentoring session. I paused, remaining silent on the other end of the phone line. The space between us told me to wait: I knew she wasn’t finished yet. “A part of me feels like I should just suck it up,” she finished. Her throat tightened around her voice, holding back a tsunami of sadness. While spending Thanksgiving with her family, this incredibly deep, wise woman became embroiled in a familiar struggle with her mother. Her new haircut (too short), the mess her green smoothie made in the blender, how she wanted to go for a walk instead of visiting with the cousins-- her mom shot passive aggressive jabs at them all. No matter how calm and compassionate this goddess was in her daily life, when she visited her family, it all seemed to fly out the window. Her mom seemed to know exactly which buttons to push, causing her to regress to a tempestuous five-year-old. Every time. “Let’s pause here,” I inserted. “I want to give some space to the part of you that feels like she can’t handle this. The part of you who wants to complain. The part of you who doesn’t want to suck it up. Can we let her be here, too?” Her sadness swelled, and, through her sniffles, I could hear the tears starting to flow. “Yes, that’s good,” I encouraged, “Let’s give some space to the sadness.” Over the years, I’ve had countless conversations like this-- both with the women I mentor and with myself. When old wounds like this get triggered, no amount of self-care can soothe us. Why is this? Anytime there’s an inner atmosphere of stress, we know that one of our inner family members isn’t getting the attention it so needs and deserves. Rather than colluding with our inner bully (and only increasing the emotional intensity we’re feeling), we need to pause, listen, and be a good parent to ourselves. This is the next step along our Heroine’s Journey, which I spoke about on the second morning of our SHE Retreat in Mexico last month. As the waves crashed to the shore in the background, and as we all settled deeper into our retreat together, I shared: *The root reason why life can feel like such a struggle. *The biggest challenge women face, and how to work with it. *The 2 things that need to be present to feel safe, loved, and accepted for who you are. *How to shift out of the stress response and inner turmoil -- immediately. Ahhhhhh. These women were exhausted. As azure ocean waves lapped in the background, the small group of courageous sisters settled into their cushions in the Meditation Cabin. It was the first morning of our week-long SHE retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. And I could see the fatigue peeking through the excitement on their faces. It wasn’t just the fatigue of the previous day’s travel. It was the longing for deep silence, for oh-so-needed rest, for contemplation and creativity and sensuality and all those things that make women, women. Over the next 20 minutes, I shared the first wisdom talk of our retreat, setting the context for our 7-day journey together. Fittingly, this talk was about the first stage of the Heroine’s Journey: “Leaving Your Normal Life.” If you’ve ever heard the call to your own Heroine’s Journey (and, my dear, if you’re here, you undoubtedly have), you know it can come as quite a challenge. A health crisis, a relationship meltdown, a career shift, a financial disaster. It’s during these tender, transitional times in our lives that we start asking questions. BIG questions. And, simultaneously, we also start asking ourselves (usually unconsciously) some really mean, degrading questions too — ones that only wage more war within us. Sister, the Heroine’s Journey begins with asking questions. And, if we’re lucky (and have a little loving nudge in the right direction), we can make these questions more nourishing, more liberating, more empowering. So that the very questions we ask point us towards freedom. In this opening talk, I speak about: http://bit.ly/1QNgmrL * How to distinguish between the questions that close the doors to your “Inner Quest” v. the questions that open doors. * The three most important elements of the Heroine’s Journey (if you leave even one of these out, it’s incomplete). * A quality you most need to prepare for our journey. Over the next two weeks, I invite you to take a little time to nurture your feminine spirit with this special, seasonal series on our podcast. Every few days, I’ll share a short, 15-20 minute wisdom talk with you (recorded live at my SHE Retreat in Mexico during early November). Each wisdom talk illuminates an aspect of feminine spirituality or a stage of the Heroine’s Journey — and has never before been heard or shared, outside the closed circle of my retreat. Whether you listen to these from a real bubble bath, or these clips simply make you feel like you’re pampering yourself that way — I hope you’ll find some guidance, reassurance, and invitations to deepen your connection with your Self this season. See my favorite potions and ingredients for the perfect bubble bath here: http://bit.ly/1QNgmrL What’s Bubble Bath Wisdom? It’s a sumptuous moment of self-care during this zany holiday season. Because the Heroine’s Journey is paved with silence, beauty, and compassionate rest. It’s also a small taste of my 9-month spiritual practice community for women, The SHE School 2016: the fullest expression of my teachings and the only only program I’ll offer in 2016. We officially begin The SHE School in February, but since so many of you have been patiently waiting for this, I’ve opened the doors now, for a brief Early Registration period. When you join the SHE School now (until December 12), you will receive extra, loving support for this Holiday Season, including my Women’s Yoga & Meditation Kits, an exclusive mini-retreat with me on Visioning 2016, and more. This Bubble Bath Wisdom Series is my gift to you: to inspire moments of stillness and self-love this busy Holiday Season, to support your Heroine’s Journey, and to celebrate the opening of The SHE School 2016.
