This episode is all about justification, and why as humans we feel the need to justify our actions and words constantly. Over the years, I have learned that there are times where justification can enhance connection and vulnerability, however there are many times where justification can leave us feeling weak and regretful. Sometimes we use justification as a form of self sabotage when it comes to achieving our goals - this is why it is so important to actually identify when you are justifying and why. It's an important part of your self development journey, as it can have a flow on effect in regards to how you value yourself, which has a direct impact on your manifestations. In this episode we also chat about identifying people in your life who may manipulate you into feeling the need to justify and over share for their benefit only. Saying no without feeling guilty or the need to justify is powerful - however in some situations, I believe a little bit of justification is needed out of respect. I chat openly about all of this in today's episode! Hope you enjoy.View my website here! Today's guest, Brian Proctor calls himself "The Most Grateful Man in the World." Brian was born in 1961, the same year that his legendary father, Bob Proctor, was given the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, which began his father's 60-year journey into personal development. For close to 30 years, Brian had the privilege of working alongside his father as he taught from some of the world's largest stages, and for 60 years they were best friends. Brian attributes his success to all the lessons he has learned over the years from his father. While working with his Dad, Brian found his niche in marketing and business development. In the very early years of the Internet, Brian originated a powerful idea to build an email list by creating value which morphed into a massive worldwide platform for his father to share his teachings. This idea set Bob Proctor's company up for success by opening the door early to email list building long before that became the industry standard. As an online marketer, Brian was consistently the top affiliate in many large product launches with joint ventures, bringing in millions of dollars in commissions for himself and his father's organization as well as giving many entrepreneurs their first opportunities to share their products and services with a large audience. Today, Brian enjoys his role as co-founder of KellyProctorCo LLC, an organization created with his wife, Cory Kelly Proctor, whose mission is to empower people to live their best life by leaning into simple yet profound strategies. Brian is honored to continue helping people just like you create lives, careers and businesses you love, living the good life on your own terms, and showing you how building relationships, making a difference and creating wealth fit together.

In this episode, motivational speaker, author, life coach, mentor, and entrepreneur Candi Rose will tell us how to overcome the control that shame has over our lives and rise beyond it to create a life we never believed was possible. Candi experienced being bullied in school and got transferred to a different school because of that. Then she started abusing alcohol and drugs, quit school, was arrested, and became a stripper at the age of 19. Come to think of it, what other deeds would you consider significantly more delinquent and shameful than this at a young age? Candi Rose had been an outright errant person before she turned into a wretched person with three abusive ex-partners and a single mother. But she was able to advance and enhance her life, especially with God's help. And she will share that story with us. Here are some key highlights to know more about this episode: Tragic and traumatic life story of Candi Rose Who Candi was, who she is today, and where she is at this moment How she built her real estate investing How God transformed her life and helped her to become a better woman What are the F's of Candi that will help us to overcome shame and help us to live a healthy life How having faith in God is crucial when facing life's ups and downs Candi's book about overcoming shame Her Program called Become Unstoppable (Originally Love Your Shame) The reason why she wrote the book How does she balance being a mother, an entrepreneur, finishing this book, getting things to launch, coaching, and other similar tasks while maintaining her sense of stability and purpose? Key Takeaway Shame isolates you and so you don't tell anybody about it. And that's when shame grabs power over you. And so when I talk about it, then if they are able to talk about it, then it's a way for them to release whatever is going on with them. - Candi Rose You can't waste time on a relationship if it's going nowhere. The instant you find out you feel it's going nowhere, you've got to cut the strings.- Candi Rose About the Guest: Candi Rose is a Motivational Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur & Self Development Coach. His own journey of self-development puts him in a position to guide and lead others through their journey backed with 11 years of experience. He started out as a PT but came to many walls with his clients and realized you can do a lot with movement, but it lead him to the realization he was used to treating people in a fragmented way.  Sim believes nature dictates we are multidimensional organisms, and in this sense exist out of many dimensions. Symbiosis is required in addressing all those dimensions. His evolved men's coaching approach prioritizes symbiosis in addressing all these dimensions. Sim  integrates nutrition, sleep, movement, psychology (mental health/trauma/stress) physiology (breath-work, organ, and biofeedback optimization) to help men achieve their highest masculine potential. In this episode we discuss:-his personal self development journey-the fragmented way men are often depicted in the media-natural ways to boost testosterone -providing a space for me to open emotionally -the emotional reactions often seen in men-finding a group of men to support you and are on a similar path-Integrating men's physiological and psychological needs to truly optimize their masculine potential  - How often the best and worst of times are related to your social situation-How ladies can help their man achieve their masculine potential -What Sim has observed men are most resistant to and adaptable toHow Emotions are Made - Lisa Feldman Barretthttps://www.simvandaele.com/@simvandaeleYouTube

Thanks for joining me for the last episode of this season's One For The Road. This week I am joined by The self Development Coach, Jonny Lawrence.Johnny's journey is one that started with complete rejection in all areas of his life. The biggest source of rejection was from his Father. Johnny is a witness to domestic violence and a survivor of physical child abuse, and this trauma defined his life for quite some time. He used alcohol as a method of coping for many decades until one day his addiction and his trauma, collided and created the biggest shift in his life that he had ever experienced; the shift towards becoming alcohol-free and helping others.Supporting people to improve and change all aspects of their lives became his passion which led him to become The Self Development Coach. He found from working with a diverse range of people, and also from healing from his childhood trauma, that he had a passion and a talent for supporting people with their self-development.Johnny is the creator of the Super Self program and the founder of the School Of Self Development that supports, guides and educates people towards becoming unstuck and achieving what they want from their life. It's understandable and tempting to want to take action, to feel the urge to change something or to “fix” someone. However, often there are no right or wrong actions, nothing needs to change and people might not be broken. Supporting someone is rarely about doing, it's about being.
