How can we think well about who God is? This Week At Windsor we had the opportunity to speak with Dr Jeffrey Aernie, Professor at Alphacrucis University College and New Testament Scholar. As a fellow American, Jeff and Jonathan go back twenty years attending the same University, then seminary together. Jeff is a lover of language which drew him to study the New Testament in the original Greek. Jeff, Jonathan and Ardin dive into a world of higher education and how it differs in Australia compared to the Untied States. Along the way they also explore how the Bible is translated from its original text to English. They will talk about understanding a living, breathing text written in a period time far removed from our own. Come learn about cabbage as a love language. Stay to find out which Bible verse you've probably been misapplying all these years. This whole episode is a must listen!---If you want to read some of Dr. Aernie's works, check out these links:Narrative Discipleship: Portraits of Women in the Gospel of Mark Is Paul Also Among the Prophets?Jeff's articles on Google Scholar

Woe unto the straight man dating in San Francisco (or is the problem his changing priorities? Or his terminology for fuckbuddies?) Ardin, comedian, host of fellow Mutiny Radio podcast The Night Space and barista extraordinaire joins us to discuss the trials and travails of dating on both coasts and his sitcom ideas. Paola shares a story about larval divorcées on Tinder. We also get a call (apologies for the audio quality - if you can’t stand it skip to 29:30)! Get ready to learn all about the medical advances being hidden from you by Trump media. Do phone books still exist? And an ignorant dumb bitch question about lesbian bed death.
This week I talk to a San Francisco based comedian, Ardin who embodies the meaning of Uncontained. Giving up a lucrative marketing job to pursue a career in stand-up comedy, Ardin also hosts the podcast “The Night Space” with the staff of Mutiny Radio. You can catch him live on stage at the Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival: East of the Rockies, showcasing comedians from East of the Rockies. Don’t miss this show on March 1st! Ticket and show information in the links below.Oh! I almost forgot. Uncontained is officially 1 year old! I know what you are thinking, at least, if you are even somewhat good at math… “Isn’t there only 52 weeks in a year? So how do you have 55 episodes if this is a weekly show?” You’ll just have to trust my math… here is my equation 52 weeks plus 3 episodes the first week and add in a leap year and X = 55, but I was never good at algebra. I just want to thank all of my guests and listeners for being with the show through the first year and helping me “Live Uncontained.” This show is nothing without you.https://www.facebook.com/ardinmarchettaLinks to The Night Space:https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/thenightspace/id1196957170?mt=2http://podcasts.pcrcollective.org/TheNightSpace/Mutiny Radio Comedy Festivalhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1822239878015749/East of the Rockies Show Tickets:http://www.universe.com/mutinyfest1b See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
