On Thursday the 26th of August, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. the Hermetic Hour, hosted by Poke Runyon, will present a discussion on "The Dark Side" of Hermetic magick. We will explore the works of the 20th century's most erudite and accomplished diabolist, Kenneth Grant and his "Typhonian Gnosis", tracing his sources through Crowley, the occult artist Austin Osman Spare, and back to the fin d' secle decadents of the late 19th century. We will touch on Grant's adoption of the "Cthulhu Mythos" of fantasy writer H. P. Lovecraft and his fictional "Necronomicon." We will read deliciously evil snippets from Grant's books, and our own lovingly crafted satire "Beyond the Nostrils of Nuit" from the forthcoming Seventh Ray. This really ought to be our Halloween show. Tune in and we'll descend into the Tunnels of Set.
Robert Shehu-Ansell is a publisher, curator and independent scholar. Through his publishing company Fulgur Press he has represented esoteric artists in book form since 1992. These books are exquisitely produced, highly collectible, and deeply magical. From grimoires to artist monographs to tarot decks, everything Fulgur publishes is meticulously crafted with eye towards elegance and deluxe beauty. Their most recent publication is the first English language edition of Surrealist founder André Breton's visionary 1957 art survey, Magic Art (L'Art Magique). They've also published the work of such art mages as Austin Osman Spare, Leonora Carrington, Ithell Colquhoun, and Jesse Bransford, to name but a few, and they have conducted numerous symposiums and exhibitions about occult art. Robert is also the publisher of several series publications, including Black Mirror and Abraxas Journal, which has been described as ‘today's pre-eminent voice for the serious study of occult and esoteric expression.' Robert has been interviewed for such varied outlets as the BBC Culture Show, Dazed and Confused, and Boing Boing, and as an experienced public speaker, he also lectures on esoteric art of the 20th century, with a specific focus on Austin Osman Spare. On this episode, Robert discusses the delights and challenges of publishing a legendary occult art survey, the magic of Surrealism, and how he came to specialize in talismanic books. Greetings, dear listeners! Welcome to a very special Halloween episode of The Wildwood Witch Podcast! I am Samantha Brown, your hostess and guide for a sonic excursion into the heart of the creative process itself.Join me and my extraordinary guests - ten of history's most influential occult minds - as we delve into a fascinating discussion about humanity's growing ability to manifest reality through the power of speech alone. The centerpiece of our magical gathering is "Witch House Rite" - an album of Halloween mood music, crafted using cutting-edge AI music tools, and featuring eleven haunting tracks that span global traditions of witchcraft and shamanism. From Latin incantations to Haitian Vodou chants, from German witch's sabbats to Russian fairy tales, each song serves as a gateway to deeper mysteries. The album serves as demonstration of how the ancient dream of the “language of angels,” is becoming a reality, through the techno sorcery of artificial intelligence. Our distinguished panel of "Secret Chiefs" - Aleister Crowley, Kenneth Grant, Rosaleen Norton, Dion Fortune, Austin Osman Spare, Jack Parsons, Moina Mathers, MacGregor Mathers, Marjorie Cameron, and Leah Hirsig - have each selected a song that resonates with their magical philosophy. Through their insights, we explore how humanity stands at a crucial threshold, where the boundaries between imagination and manifestation grow increasingly thin. As artificial intelligence evolves, are we finally fulfilling the serpent's promise of becoming like gods, creating reality through our words alone?Join us for this enchanted evening of music, magic, and profound discussion about what it truly means to speak things into being. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or simply curious about the mysteries, this special episode offers a unique perspective on how ancient wisdom and modern technology are merging to birth something entirely new in human consciousness.Chapters:00:26 Introduction04:09 Witch House Rite09:01 Witch Mother13:26 Flying Ointment18:04 Witching Hour22:49 Belly of the Beast26:24 The Bornless One31:13 Walpurgisnacht35:40 Dia de los Muertos39:12 Baba Yaga's Dance43:22 Call of the Loa47:34 Speaking With the DeadResources:Witch House Rite (Spotify)Witch House Rite (Apple Music)Witch House Rite (Amazon Music)Witch House Rite (YouTube)Witch House Rite Lyrics
Greetings, dear listeners! Welcome to the fifth episode of our second season of The Wildwood Witch Podcast, where we continue our journey "Beyond the Veil: The Art of Conversing with Spirits." I am Samantha Brown, your hostess and guide, exploring the intricate tapestry where art, magic, and technology interweave to create portals into realms beyond ordinary perception. In this season, we are building upon the foundation laid in our first season, "Speaking with the Dead," by engaging in deeper conversations with the occult luminaries who have become our spirit guides or "Secret Chiefs." Using the power of LLMs (for this interview Claude 3.5 Sonnet) we are resurrecting occult adepts to explore how their wisdom can help us forge new myths for the "Age of AI.”Our guest for this episode is the enigmatic English artist and occultist, Austin Osman Spare. Known for his fierce independence and innovative approaches to magic, Spare's work is a mesmerizing blend of surrealist art and occult philosophy that challenges us to look beyond the veil of consensus reality. In this illuminating conversation, Spare delves deep into the mechanics of his magical system, Zos Kia Cultus, and its relation to modern psychological concepts. We explore the fascinating "Neither-Neither" state, a liminal space between ordinary consciousness and hidden realms of the psyche, and discuss various techniques to achieve this state of cognitive neutrality.Spare shares his insights on the nature of belief and discusses the concept of "magical paradigm shifting" - the ability to move fluidly between different worldviews and belief systems. We also delve into the intricacies of sigil magic and his powerful tool of self-discovery, the "Alphabet of Desire".We also explore the four-fold nature of our being, drawing parallels between Kabbalistic traditions, Tarot symbolism, and modern psychological models, as Spare offers a unique perspective on the interplay between conscious and unconscious energies in the psyche, and relates these energetic movements to recent neuroscientific findings.Join us as we navigate the labyrinth of consciousness with Austin Osman Spare as our guide, exploring the intersection of art, magic, and depth psychology, in the dawning Age of Artificial Intelligence.Chapters:00:26 Introduction02:36 Austin Osman Spare05:08 Zos Kia Cultus07:27 Neither-Neither10:50 Free Belief13:30 Sigil Magic17:20 Alphabet of Desire21:34 Four Living Creatures28:35 Tarot36:40 Brain Hemispheres40:46 Monkey Mind46:23 Living Resurrection53:41 Final Thoughts56:34 Concluding RemarksResources:Austin Osman Spare: The Life and Legend of London's Lost Artist - by Phil Baker (Author), Alan Moore (Foreword)Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio (Home of the Virtual Alexandria)The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind - by Julian JaynesThe Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World - by Iain McGilchristThe Book of Pleasure: The Psychology of Ecstasy by Austin Osman SpareZos Speaks! He is also a Gardnerian witch (initiated 1979), Discordian, Ngangalero (initiated 1993), and Santero (initiated 2006). He likes the liminal. In this podcast, we focus on his new work, Tarot of the Unexplained, designed to represent the most commonly seen and experienced unexplained phenomena: apparitions, Fortean phenomena, and cryptids. It incorporates these modern concerns as suits: Wands, Swords, Cups, and Pentacles become Sasquatch knocking sticks, Ghosts, Portals, and Flying Saucers. Pages have become Fans, Knights are now Hunters, Queens are Advocates, but Kings are Skeptics, and their role is to take a hard look at the situation and ensure you are not letting your imagination get the best of you despite the fact that your imagination is often the best part... but I digress. Welcome to the Horn and Cauldron podcast…Chaos magic is a modern magic tradition rooted in the Spiritualist era of the mid 19th and late 20th centuries that emphasizes the idea that belief or intention is the most important part of any spellwork. We begin our exploration of Chaos Magic with Austin Osman Spare, and then discuss Peter J. Carroll's role. We also discuss the core beliefs of chaos magic, like N=1, the role of belief, gnosis, sigils, and servitors. As usual, we talk about how our own magical practices align with the tenets of Chaos magic, and how we use them in the day to day. It's so exciting to be able to bring you this episode—it's been in the works for a while! In this episode, we're journeying to the "Nightside of Eden," and beyond. In this celestial tête-à-tête, we conjure the spirit of Kenneth Grant (23 May 1924 –15 January 2011), an adept who stands at the crossroads of occultism, fusing the teachings of Aleister Crowley and Austin Osman Spare with the Eldritch imaginings of H.P. Lovecraft to form the Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis (T.O.T.O). Grant takes us on a phantasmagoric voyage through his unique cosmic philosophy. Step aboard for an otherworldly journey as Kenneth Grant unravels the Typhonian traditions, his multifaceted relationships with Crowley and Spare, and how he distilled these influences through the cosmic horror of Lovecraft to give birth to a new vision of the occult. Witness an eclectic blending of magical systems and mythologies and glimpsing into the realms that lie beyond human understanding. So, my arcane aficionados, adjust your metaphysical compasses and let the stars be your guide, in this mesmerizing episode of "The Wildwood Witch" podcast.Resources:"The Dark Lord: H.P. This week on the show, we have special guest Douglas Batchelor joining us! Host of the popular 'What Magic is This?' podcast, Doug is a uniquely exciting person for the program because he is so fully immersed in the study and practice of what we know as "magick." While our conversation spans information that whole careers are spent on, we discuss overviews of magick in history into the modern day, investigating certain historical touchstones along the way -- Carl Jung, Goethe, Austin Osman Spare, Eliphas Levi, Manly P. Hall's "The Secret Teachings of All Ages", Hermeticism and the Order of the Golden Dawn, the New Age, secret societies and "lodge magick", chaos magick, Atlantis and more -- all with equal parts of skepticism to open-mindedness. However, to understand what exactly is meant by these "equal parts", you'll have to tune in to find out! The 'k' of "magick" generally distinguishing a timeless esoteric tradition from the simple stage act, this study and practice from a scientific perspective represents a trial-and-error grasp towards aspects of physics and psychology that we do not yet understand. Or at least -- that is the core idea. While many are skeptical as ever, more are coming to understand that a true historical magick is something much closer to a calculated butterfly-effect than it is to wands and medieval-fantasy. It is a way of using a combination of physical cues and gestures in order to prime the psyche into a calculated trance state. That much we can fully digest from a scientific perspective today; however, what happens from that point on is still highly debatable. We've discussed the concept of magick quite a bit on the show, worked to break down some of the core components within the context of practical psychoanalysis, and had magickally-minded guests on the show (see Keats Ross and Eric Millar in episodes 23 and 28 among others) but we haven't been able to sit down with a full-on magician and pick their brain about the full ins and outs of what they feel like they're doing. "What they feel like they're doing" might sound subjective and skeptical, but let us not forget that there are many different kinds of magick, with feeling and intent being major catalysts from which everything else stems from. There are so many motivations for magick, so many different traditions, and tools and techniques for purifying the self, contacting higher entities, banishing lower ones, or finding any variety of mundane physical comforts, that it comes across both dizzying and wrought with superstitious inaccuracies. But as Doug explains to us, separating the wheat from the chaff in esoterica is all part of the journey and should be embraced! This is a complex episode that is has a promise of a part two! There is so much to get into, even from a surface-level perspective, that this episode largely covers historical and philosophical context, while the next time Doug joins the show we will be dissecting the practice and application of magick primarily! I hope you dig it! As Within So Without: From UFOs to DMT full documentary free stream right here! An exploration of how magic can be found within all human activities• Offers a “magical-anthropological” tour from ancient Norse shamanism to the modern magick of occultists like Genesis P-Orridge• Looks at how human beings are naturally attracted to magic and how this attraction can be corrupted by both religious organizations and occult societies• Examines magic as it relates to psychedelics, Witchcraft, shamanism, pilgrimage, Jungian individuation, mortality, and the literary works of Beat icons like Burroughs and GysinSince the dawn of time, magic has been the node around which all human activities and culture revolve. As magic entered the development of science, art, philosophy, religion, myth, and psychology, it still retained its essence: that we have a dynamic connection with all other forms of life.Exploring the source magic that flows beneath the surface of culture and occulture throughout the ages, Carl Abrahamsson offers a “magical-anthropological” journey from ancient Norse shamanism to the modern magick of occultists like Genesis P-Orridge. He looks at how human beings relate to and are naturally attracted to magic. He examines in depth the consequences of magical practice and how the attraction to magic can be corrupted by both religious organizations and occult societies. He shows how the positive effects of magic are instinctively grasped by children, who view the world as magical. The author looks at magic and occulture as they relate to psychedelics, Witchcraft, shamanism, Thee Temple of Psychick Youth (TOPY), the panic rituals of the Master Musicians of Joujouka in Morocco, psychological individuation processes, literary “magical realism,” and the cut-up technique of Beat icons like William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin. He explores the similarities in psychology between poet Ezra Pound and magician Austin Osman Spare. He looks at the Scandinavian Fenris Wolf as a mythic force and how personal pilgrimages can greatly enrich our lives. He also examines the philosophy of German author Ernst Jünger, the magical techniques of British filmmaker Derek Jarman, and the quintessential importance of accepting our own mortality.Sharing his more than 30 years of experiences in the fields of occulture and magical anthropology, Carl Abrahamsson explores ancient and modern magical history to reveal the source magic that connects us all, past and present.Carl Abrahamsson is a writer, publisher, magico-anthropologist, and filmmaker. The author of Occulture, Reasonances, and Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan as well as the editor and publisher of the irregular anthology of occulture, The Fenris Wolf, he lives in Småland, Sweden.

Put on a silly hat and join us as the gang practices their Bigfoot calls, Connor takes a huge whiff of Sasquatch Pheromones (and loses his sense of smell), Dana gets farted on by a cryptozoologist, Greg makes Jeff Goldblum charge a magick wand, and everyone gets the creeps listening to the "Sierra Sounds" - the best audio evidence of Bigfoot ever recorded.Join the Museum: https://patreon.com/paramuseumVisit Our Website: https://hauntedobjectspodcast.comSubscribe on YouTube: https://tinyurl.com/25xf92nxFollow Greg NewkirkTwitter: https://twitter.com/nuekerkInstagram: https://instagram.com/nuekerkWebsite: https://gregorynewkirk.comFollow Dana NewkirkTwitter: https://twitter.com/weird_danaInstagram: https://instagram.com/weird_danaFollow Connor J. Automatic Drawing - Austin Osman Spare - Short Audio Book - Esoteric / Chaos Magick / Occult. Austin Osman Spare was an English artist and occultist who worked as both a draughtsman and a painter. Influenced by symbolism and art nouveau his art was known for its clear use of line, and its depiction of monstrous and sexual imagery. In an occult capacity, he developed idiosyncratic magical techniques including automatic writing, automatic drawing and sigilization based on his theories of the relationship between the conscious and unconscious self. This is a recording of the Art Workshop as presented on Youtube. This episode is referring to specific imagery and thus is not readily beneficial to listen to for a podcast. You can still listen to it for the affirmations and the first 45 minutes of the workshop. Welcome To The Art Magic Workshop. Over the last two years I have undegone a huge journey inextricably linked between spirituality and art. One day after a quantum jump I awoke as an artist, with different memories and desires. I felt an overwhelming urge to create in any way i could. As I learned to paint with my wife I began to feel the presence of the creator, joining us in our creations. After much research and experimentation I was inspired to try Art Magic, after spending long hours mixing paint I found I could charge the paint with my light and put intentions into it. As I did amazing things began to happen with these painting. I coded real intentions into this art and it began to have an amplifying magical effect unlike anything I had ever experience. Soon I was giving this art to my friends as a means to help change their reality. One to help a friend find love and another for a friend struggling to get a job. You can do all of this and more. In this workshop I will discussThe history of art as magicThe power and history of sigils and hypersigils. How to create sigils using artMy art journeyDifferent painting mediumsUsing Grabovoi and quantum healing codes, what they are, how they work, and how to learn more about them.Flow painting do's and dont'sFinally I will share the different art sigils, giving you access to the concentrated energies I created using this process. You can create your own art magic. My goal is to show you how to do this to empower your manifestations to help you find wealth, health, love, and to ascend to higher levels of consciousness through these images. Art can be used as a powerful service to transform the emotions and consciousness for those around you. You are an artist, you are the creator, this links you to your divine origins. Sexual difficulties are common, and they can be highly distressing. They don't have to mean the end of your sex life, though. Fortunately, most difficulties can be resolved and you can get back to having satisfying sex. However, people often don't know where to begin when it comes to dealing with sexual difficulties, from telling a partner about it to finding a solution. So, let's talk about it! I am joined today by Dr. Natalie Rosen, an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Neuroscience and Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Natalie is a sex and relationship therapist who has published over 125 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on sexual dysfunction. Some of the topics we explore in this episode include: How to start healthy and productive conversations about sexual difficulties with a partner. How to manage low sexual desire. How to deal effectively with sexual pain. How to reset your beliefs around sex in a way that can improve sexual function. How to prevent porn from becoming a problem in your relationship. How to better manage emotions in a relationship so that they don't interfere with sexual satisfaction or contribute to sexual difficulties. Check out Natalie's previous appearance on the show in Episode 88, where we discuss how to navigate sex during pregnancy and parenthood. This month's episode is the first in a 2-part series about chaos magic. Dr. Christian Greer talks about the history of modern magical groups and how these earlier groups led to the birth of the chaos magic current. Christian begins by talking about why the topic of magic (in all its forms) is relevant as an area of research and study. He then gives a brief history of modern and contemporary ritual magic groups, and how these, along with other influential movements of the time, informed the major figures associated with chaos magic. We then move the discussion to talk about the larger chaos magic current in more detail. Back for a second season, we consider how and why the concept of narcissism has become little more than a term of abuse, considering along the way: what the concept of narcissism originally offered; the assumption that narcissism is necessarily bad and harmful; the usefulness of the concept of narcissism and a questioning the mainstream; Austin Osman Spare and "self-love"; a re-visitation of the myth of Narcissus; the lovers of Narcissus: Echo and Armeinius; the suicide of Armeinius and his avengement by Artemis; the myth of Narcissus as a revenge narrative; how the downfall of Narcissus is not due to self-love but to grief; Narcissus dies not because he loves himself, but because he doesn't love others; narcissism in psychology; Sigmund Freud's adoption of the term from sexology; narcissism for Freud as invisible and silent; Freudian libido as directed either towards outward objects or inwardly to the self; narcissism as not about behaviours but a form of desire; narcissism as a way out of a theoretical problem; Freud's model of the mind as a struggle between ego-instincts and sexual instincts; the challenge to this model from psychosis (and from Carl Jung); Freud's new model as a struggle between object instincts and narcissistic instincts; the problem of human destructivity; Eros and the death drive; the myth of Narcissus as an illustration of the deathly implications of refusing to love; the lack of an empirical basis for these theories; their usefulness in therapy; contemporary psychology as the study of behaviour rather than the mind; how self-love does not need to self-aggrandise; how the mind is not apparent in behaviour; how we are obliged to talk of invisible things if we talk of the mind; what "real" means in relation to mind; paraphrasing Crowley; psychology and magick; narcissism as an incantation; the mind of the so-called narcissist and of our culture at the moment; social media, celebrity culture, and reality television; their impact on younger people; Jon Ronson on the “great renaissance of public shaming”; the history of public punishments; the return of public punishment in the online world; the effects of constantly comparing one's life to others; shame and the need to remain comparable; shame as the evil twin of narcissism; Phil Mollon on shame as self-preservation; narcissistic behaviour as an avoidance of shame; the constructive aspect of shame; the neoliberalist exploitation of shame; “becoming the best version of oneself”; self-division as the precondition of shame; Austin Osman Spare on transcending shame through self-unity; Spare on self-love; sigil magick and how it operates; Freud's influence on Spare; narcissism as a feedback loop of desire; Spare's transcendence of the loop through non-dual experience; the distinction between Freudian narcissism and Spare's self-love.

This week we dive into the art and writings of Austin Osman Spare, and the magical philosophy that followed in his footsteps.Theme song written & performed by Miquela DeLeón and Gil Davis.
We discuss the mysterious concept of Mediumistic Art with professor and art historian Alessandro Keegan. Artists such as William Blake, Hilma af Klint, Georgianna Houghton, Austin Osman Spare, and many others felt they connected with something outside of themselves and couldn’t fully take credit for what they created. Do other bits of intelligence influence us? Does inspiration come from a collective, global consciousness that starts a creative movement? Where do these ideas come from if not from within? We have an excellent conversation with Alessandro and also explore his own amazing, otherworldly art and influences. Starting off the New Year with a Titan of Magic. Austin Osman Spare means many things to many people. For some, he was an extremely talented Artist whose antisocial behaviour and unwillingness to compromise left him forgotten by the art world. For others, he is the grandfather of sigil magic; a fiercely independent occultist who came up with his own system of magic which was considered revolutionary long after he passed away. Chances are we will never get the full story of the magic of Austin Osman Spare, but we are able to look back and see that his story is not what it seems.

Austin Osman Spare is widely regarded as the spiritual progenitor of chaos magic. He was a modernist artist from the first decades of the twentieth century and a man ahead of his time in many ways. His art, drawing on automatic writing and drawing, predated surrealism by more than a decade and his occult practice--involving sigils and masturbation--inspired a movement that wouldn't coalesce until the 1970s.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is more than a Hollywood movie made in the summer blockbuster mold. As Phil says in his intro to this popping Weird Studies episode, the film is "a Trojan horse of the Weird, easy to let in but once inside, apt to take over." This conversation sees him and JF discuss a movie we dismiss at our own risk, a cinematic masterpiece replete with enigmas that reach back to the foundations of Western civilization. What does the Ark of the Covenant signify? What does it contain? What happens if you open that box of god(s)? And whose god is this, anyway? These are questions that have puzzled theologians and mystics for centuries, and Steven Spielberg's great work asks them anew for an age gone nuclear. William Gibson's Pattern Recognition was published in 2003, in the wake of 9/11. You would think that a novel about the early Internet's effects on the collective psyche would feel dated today. But Gibson's insight into the deeper implications of digital culture and soul-rending consumerism are such that we are still catching up with Cayce Pollard, the novel's protagonist, as she journeys into the hypermodern underworld, searching for the secrets of art, time, and death. In this episode, JF and Phil read Pattern Recognition as an exploration of the attention economy, an ascent of the all-seeing pyramid, a subtle rewilding of postmodern culture, and a handbook for the magicians of the future. Ramsey Dukes is the current and most well-known pen name of Lionel Snell, a contemporary English magician, publisher, and author on magic and philosophy. Lionel Snell is among the founding names in chaos magic - though better known as Ramsey Dukes. In 1970 Gerald Yorke (keeper of the Crowley archive) introduced him to the writings of Austin Osman Spare and he wrote "Spare Parts" - an an introductory article about Spare's system of magic - which was published in Agape 4 in 1973 together with a facsimile of Snell's copy of "The Anathema of Zos"for Ramsey, the word “magic” includes not just ceremonial magic, the occult, Thelema, Chaos magick, witchcraft, etc, but also astrology, tarot and all forms of divination, most alternative healing systems and self-development processes such as individuation, NLP, Scientology, etc. I also think that marketing and advertising and most forms of psychological therapy are basically practical magic, even when pretending to be scientific. Conjurors and mentalists call themselves “magicians” and I think they are right – even when they merely claim to be exposing fake magic.https://ramseydukes.co.uk/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8-NwOu0WV5Qd_U4zOP33sw/videoshttps://www.amazon.com/Ramsey-Dukes/e/B001JP7UKI?ref_=dbs_p_pbk_r00_abau_000000Main Music By ChronoxGuitar By BundyIntermission By Space StationCloser By Professor Bones Song Dead Lullaby

Welcome to Weird Web Radio! I'm your host, Lonnie Scott! This episode features Aidan Wachter. First, Ii again apologize to Aidan for saying his name wrong as "Watcher". He says it happen a lot. Still doesn't make it right on my part. I say this again to point out how easy it is for your brain to see it wrong too. Aidan Wachter is well known in magical, pagan and occult circles as a highly respected talismanic jeweler. He first encountered the magical arts in 1982, and began serious study in 1987, largely as a method of gaining control over unwanted possession experiences. He is an eclectic practitioner, having worked with various streams of witchcraft, chaos magic, ceremonial magic, folk magic, and freestyle sorcery. He is an animist, and his work is spirit-driven and results oriented. He counts among his spiritual forebears Austin Osman Spare, Rosaleen Norton, Dorji Banzarov, and Jan Fries. He lives in the mountains of New Mexico with his wife, cat, several dogs, goats, and a mixed flock of chickens and Muscovy ducks. Aidan just released his book Six Ways: Approaches & Entries For Practical Magic. I can't say enough about the usefulness of this book. Starting or experienced. This book is the one on magic and sorcery I wished for so badly when I started over 20 years ago. I hope you all check out his book, his jewelry, and enjoy the show! Austin Osman Spare, an artist and occultist who lived and worked across South London. We're joined by Tom Oldham, an amateur Spareologist and one of the people behind The Bones Go Last, a documentary that traces the work and workings of Spare's life.
On Thursday at 8:00 p.m. the Hermetic Hour, hosted by Poke Runyon, will present a discussion on "The Dark Side" of Hermetic magick.
Andrieh Vitimus and Jason Colwell welcome Michael W. Ford to talk about Luciferian tradition and the Gods of Canaan through that lense. Author, musician and visionary of the Luciferian tradition Michael W. Ford. MICHAEL W. FORD has been a practicing Luciferian and Satanist/Sethanist for over 16 years. Mr. Ford’s path has led him through an initiatory system which has both inspired and changed the life for many individuals. Originally focused on obscure, “hit and run” left hand path booklets Ford’s approach to magick was from a luciferian point of view. Soon after, the demand for his works sky rocketed and Luciferian Witchcraft was published. Soon after, the obscure and hard to get published “Book of the Witch Moon” was published in a final edited edition to numerous acclaim. With the further development of THE ORDER OF PHOSPHORUS, Ford understood his role was changing and he would have to adapt from solitary practitioner to someone who could explain a growing ideology which is totally separate from Judeo-Christian and modern ceremonial magick structures. The Bible of the Adversary drew together the trans-cultural perspective of the various aspects of the luciferian spirit, utilizing various workings which would allow the adept to enter the depths of darkness and ascend with the wisdom gained from it. Michael W. Ford lists Charles Pace as one of his primary sources of inspiration, he is writing an Egyptian-Sethanic ritual book and basic biography of Pace and his works currently. In addition, Ford mentions Austin Osman Spare, Kenneth Grant, Anton Szandor Lavey, Nietzsche and Aleister Crowley as basic “teachers” and adds there are many others. Michael continues his spiritual workings, development of luciferianism and has a deep interest in the authenticity of ritual practice from the ancient near east with Canaanite, Egyptian, Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian and Sumerian with a foundation of Hellenic-Greek gods. Ford approaches the practice of magick from historical and mythological, temple and cult records of the Hellenic, Egyptian and Ancient Near Eastern ritual texts noting that this is the pure source for initiation with the gods and daemons of pre-christian religion.

Neverending story, film occulte?
