Dr.Grant Scott After fifteen years art directing photography books and magazines such as Elle and Tatler, Scott began to work as a photographer for a number of advertising and editorial clients in 2000. Alongside his photographic career Scott has art directed numerous advertising campaigns, worked as a creative director at Sotheby's, art directed foto8magazine, founded his own photographic gallery, edited Professional Photographer magazine and launched his own title for photographers and filmmakers Hungry Eye. He founded the United Nations of Photography in 2012, and is now a Senior Lecturer and Subject Co-ordinator: Photography at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, and a BBC Radio contributor. Scott is the author of Professional Photography: The New Global Landscape Explained (Routledge 2014), The Essential Student Guide to Professional Photography (Routledge 2015), New Ways of Seeing: The Democratic Language of Photography (Routledge 2019), and What Does Photography Mean To You? (Bluecoat Press 2020). His photography has been published in At Home With The Makers of Style (Thames & Hudson 2006) and Crash Happy: A Night at The Bangers (Cafe Royal Books 2012). His film Do Not Bend: The Photographic Life of Bill Jay was premiered in 2018. She retired from New Mexico state government in 2012. Teresa is a seeker on a journey to work on unfolding spiritually in this present lifetime. Writing is a spiritual exercise for Teresa. Her passions are traveling the world and hiking the mountain and desert landscapes of the western United States. The land is sacred ground and her spiritual temple where she goes for quiet reflection and contemplation. She earned a Master of Divinity and her ordination. But after serving as a pastor in several churches, she experienced a serious crisis of faith. En este episodio, intentamos desmontarlos.  Tienes que disparar en modo Manual para conseguir buenas fotos. Conseguirás los mejores resultados si fotografías durante la hora dorada. Debes usar trípode. Cumple siempre la regla de los tercios en tus composiciones. No uses la técnica de HDR porque conseguirás resultados poco naturales. Con mala luz, es mejor no salir a hacer fotos. Es necesario viajar a lugares emblemáticos para conseguir buenas fotografías de paisaje. En Fotografía de Paisaje siempre debes disparar con aperturas cerradas de f/8 en adelante. La escena siempre tiene que estar enfocada desde el primer plano hasta el fondo. Si no tienes un objetivo gran angular, no puedes hacer buenas fotografías de paisaje. Empezó a hacer fotos con 15 años, pero su gran proeza la realizó con 18 años cuando viajó en solitario durante 13 días por las altas tierras del sur (Highlands) en Islandia con una mochila de 36 kgs a cuestas. Esta experiencia cambió su vida y con 21 empezó a vivir de la fotografía. Hace 10 años fundó photocube.ch, una de las mayores escuelas de fotografía y operadores de viajes fotográficos en Suiza. Su amor por Islandia perdura hoy en día. Ha viajado a la isla innumerables veces desde su primera visita. Para poder acceder a algunos de los lugares fotográficos más remotos y deshabitados de Islandia, Stefan se ha hecho construir un súper 4x4 camperizado. Laura failed not to mention the word COVID as Laura and Benny discussed chasing day light on Autumn and Winter Wedding Day's Photoshoots. This is the last of 4 episode recorded in one Sunday sitting after poor Benny had a torrid weekend re-arranging the studio and living areas on Laura's winter fire whim. Striking a balance between getting the photographs you want and your wedding day timing being reasonable can be tricky in Winter. Laura and Benny detail how to be cautious with light, timing the day, looking up the sunset time and working out what time useable light will be finished at. Weather of course is a big factor for Autumn and Winter Weddings. Rain, wind and cold must all be allowed for. Having a back up plan for when the weather does not allow you to go outside is important. Laura and Benny get into the pit falls of choosing the back up location and the challenges of using limited space area in tighter areas. And what does Netflix and chill really mean?
