Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU! Each month your hosts Pop Break Podcasting Director Alex Marcus and Pop Break Editor in Chief Bill Bodkin are taking another step into the wider Marvel Multiverse as the MCU dives deeper into their Multiverse Saga.Bill & Alex spent all of 2022 rewatching the first four phases of the MCU, and, in the years since, they have covered all of Netflix's The Defenders Saga, the first four seasons of ABC's Agents of SHIELD, and all 14 films in Fox's X-Verse.Now they are diving into their Marvel Zombies Era, where they run down some of Marvel Entertainment's most notable and notorious films featuring characters the MCU would later reclaim! This month, they break out they Nu Metal mp3s and cork open some major daddy issues in time to review Hulk (2003), Daredevil (2003), and Elektra (2005), three films with less than stellar reputations. In a moment when Hollywood couldn't get enough Marvel heroes, following the tremendous success of X-Men (2000) and Spider-Man (2002), why did these three films completely miss the mark with audiences, and how did Fiege and company at Marvel Studios redeem these iconic characters years later? Bill and Alex will get into that and so much more during this wild trip back to the mid 2000s.Come back next month for their installment of their Marvel's Zombie Era, featuring reviews of 2004's The Punisher (available on VOD), and 2009's Punisher: War Zone (available on PlutoTV or VOD)!

0:34 Alex WardHey Sean! What a big week for Marvel and Disney news. Here's my first question: Ever since Age of Ultron, there have been theories and assumptions that Captain America will use Mjolnir. Since Mjolnir is gone, and the Infinity Gauntlet is in play, which Epic Weapon would you most enjoy seeing Cap wield in Avengers: Endgame? Mjolnir (since anything is possible in Endgame), Stormbreaker, the Infinity Gauntlet, or maybe something else?2:46 Alex WardI don't mean this in a negative or critical way, but I can't help but think that in an effort to prolong the MCU as much as possible, Marvel Studios will put off X-Men and maybe the FF even longer than this next phase (or whatever they will call it from this point forward). Why blow their load on all these surefire properties when they've already proven they can turn any lesser known characters into gold? Just wondering your thoughts on this!8:49 Alex WardOkay, just one more, I promise. Have you seen the new Twilight Zone series yet? It not only stars Kumail Nanjani, an upcoming addition to the MCU, but it also stars Tracy Morgan in a more serious role. In light of this episode showing Morgan's ability to perfectly portray sad and "grim" aspects of otherwise comedic characters, I was wondering if you have given any consideration as to whether Tracy Morgan would make a good Ben Grimm? (I think I brought it up in Discord once, and I of course know you like Nick Offerman for the role, but just an alternative suggestion!)10:22 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean! Haven't had a question to ask in a while, just haven't come up with any. But today I have one. So with the Disney + Investor Day MCU Series announcements being more of a confirmation of news we have been hearing from the trades, is there potential that whatever MS announces at SDCC/D23 will be a bit underwhelming if it's just news we have also heard previously by the trades? (Ex: Eternals/BW/BP2/etc). I'm not saying that I wasn't excited for the D+ series announcements but, as you said in a recent DB, they didn't announce anything we didn't already know. Even RDJ joked in an interview about BW and how everyone knew they are going to make that film but that KF was like we haven't announced that. So what's your take on if the secrecy strategy might be a detriment to those potential announcements post AE/FFH?20:06 Woo S! KimWhat do you believe the legacy of the Marvel/Netflix shows will be, do you think that they will be a footnote in Marvel's TV history not so much Marvel Television's history, but Marvel's history with the medium of TV?22:18 Woo S! KimYou are much more in tuned with what is going on in Hollywood more than most people I know Sean, I am of the belief because of the Box Office success of “Crazy Rich Asians” that is one of perhaps not the main reasons why “Shang-Chi” was put into production so soon, do you concur with this Sean?  Also, who if any do you think from “Crazy Rich Asians” could be cast in “Shang-Chi?”26:30 Michael WeaselboyHey Sean I just wanted to ask a hypothetical question today. How do you think Hugh Jackman's Wolverine would have interacted with the mcu avengers in particular Tony Stark??27:20 Zachary KleinsasserHey Sean and Patreons!! Hope everyone is doing well and getting pumped for End Game!! The last Q&A you discussed at length the time frame of the X-Men joining the MCU and I had some thoughts. I 100% believe Fiege when he says it will be 5 years before we see X-Men in the MCU. I do think we will start seeing Easter eggs within the 5 year time period of mutants and x-men and I don't know about everyone else but I will lose it when those Easter eggs appear! Just the thought of the word Mutants being stated in the Eternals for example has my brain spiraling! I am almost as excited for the potential X-Men Easter eggs as I am for the X-Men movie! Marvel Studios knows what they have with the X-Men and I think they are gonna take there time and build to it so when we finally do get the X-Men in the MCU it will be epic. Sorry there isn't really a question in there, just my random nerd thoughts!32:40 brentacPrimeSean, no question but I just want to say thanks to you, and Paul, and all the patrons for helping to build my own hype for Endgame. For many of us, I imagine this movie is THE cinematic event of our lives, and I'm really thankful to be apart of this community that love and appreciates what Marvel has done. By the time you're reading this we have less than two weeks to go, and I'm trying to heed your words of enjoying the journey on the way to this event. Do you think we will continue to get more team-up movies (i.e. Thor Ragnarok) in the future? Who would you like to see team-up in the MCU?3:46 brentacPrimeHave you seen Titans yet on DC Universe? I'm curious as to your thoughts on it.4:29 Woo S! KimThere is going to be a lot of hypotheticals in this question, but please bare with me, let's say Adam McKay does do a Silver Surfer film and the film does do very well critically and financially.  Since Mr. McKay seems to be a True Believer, do you think he would be good at what James Gunn's job would have been if Gunn had not been terminated overseeing the Marvel Cosmic side of things going forward? Also, if Adam McKay is not interesting in overseeing the cosmic side of the MCU, in your view is Peyton Reed a good choice for that job, whether or not he continues working for Marvel Studios directing another Ant-Man/Wasp film, why or why not?6:13 Woo S! KimHey Sean, we haven't discussed your collectables on the Q&A for quite a while, is your main collectables pritory still an Iron Man or Star Lord helmet, have you added a few collectables since the last time I asked, about four months ago, speaking of which in your reactions to both versions of the “Spider-Man: Far From Home Teaser Trailers, are you sitting in a Captain Marvel gaming chair, sir?10:37 Woo S! KimMy apologies if you are planning to discuss this with our liege “The King of Cranes” and Mr. Hermann on the podcast soon, I want Tom Holland's Spidey to stick around as long as possible just to see Bag Man in the MCU, and what were your general thoughts of Bag Man in the comics and in the PlayStation 4 game?11:15 Derek BeebeAre there any official rumors about a Thor/Guardians team up movie or was that just supposition?12:45 Derek BeebeIs the Damage Control tv series officially dead?13:57 AlexNow that Disney is buying Fox what  do you think would've happen to the MCU if it was the other way around and Disney was the one that was being purchased by Fox? Would Fox try to integrate the MCU characters into the Fox timeline via inter-dimensional  travel or do you simply think Fox would largely  take the “if it ain't broke don't fix” route with the MCU and leave it as it is simply for the fact the MCU is way more successful than Fox's X-Men franchise. Due to that fact do you think Fox would willingly abandon its current X-Men franchise in favor of letting Feige take over the reigns to X-Men and Fantastic Four and rebooting them into the MCU like we all expect will happen when Disney's purchase of Fox is complete? Or do you think they would let Simon Kinberg or Lauren Schuler Donner take over the Marvel universe and push Feige to the side and reboot the MCU to fit with the continuity of Fox?15:52 AlexI saw a tweet from Film Critic Hulk that  pointed out that Disney buying Fox was a monopoly in the making, and people would lose their jobs. I'm sure you've been asked some variation of this question before but what stuck out me to about this particular  twitter  thread was that even filmmakers like Phil Lord and Colin Trevorrow chimed in.I have  to admit as much I dig the idea of Fantastic Four and X-Men coming into the MCU it's not lost on me that it's going to cost a lot of jobs in order for that to happen and I'm not so sure Marvel is that dedicated to making R-rated Marvel films. As much as I adore the MCU I did sort of like that Fox was giving us an alternative  to the PG-13 Marvel movies with boundary pushing  R-rated movies like Logan and Deadpool that could go places that Disney Marvel wouldn't go.So my question to you is if you had your druthers would  you prefer Fox sold to someone else like an Apple(which have reservations about making R-rated films like Disney does)but in turn made a deal with Marvel similar to the Marvel/Sony deal — that way we can  have the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU  without having to go through a questionable, potentially industry shrinking merger? Also, like Sony, that deal wouldn't preclude Fox from continuing to make edgy R-rated spinoff  movies with other characters as well as  prevent Disney from owning too much or do you think Fox being sold entirely to Disney  was a good idea and that Disney is the best possible company Fox could sell to?31:59 AlexIf  Kevin Feige  were asked about the  Bryan Singer allegations how do you think he would respond? To be more specific imagine if Mr. Feige was asked a question related to the recent allegations that was framed in this manner: “Kevin, what's your thoughts on the Bryan Singer allegations?” How would you expect him to respond to such a question? Would you be disappointed if Feige dodged the question instead of a solid answer?34:42 Kerry VanderbergHi Sean, I hope you are doing well. I have more of a DC question, but it's rooted in the MCU. One of the things I really love about the MCU is how the films build on each other, and how Fiege really has built this unique shared universe, but still somehow allows individual directors to have their own vision and unique voice with their films. In comparison, the DCEU - while it seems like it is on a better track due mainly to Aquaman's success - according to Toby Emmerich's recent comments, it seems like WB is de-emphasizing the shared universe aspect of their DC films. It's obviously not going away, but when he says that they take one film at a time and are getting back to being director-driven, to me that sounds like they are going back to the Chris Nolan Batman era. So I'm very torn when it comes to the DCEU. On the one hand, I want the directors to have their creative freedom, but I also want the DCEU as a shared universe to function as a single universe. While I don't want the DCEU to be a carbon copy of the MCU, I want the shared universe to function as well as the MCU does, and not just connected on paper, like how the MCU and Marvel TV are connected in name only. I want to believe in Walter Hamada's vision, and I hope that he can be the “Kevin Feige” for the DCEU, and I am excited for the films to come, but Toby Emmerich's recent comments give me major pause and some concern. Maybe I just don't trust him based on past interviews, and have not completely forgiven him for how Zack Snyder was treated over JL. What are your thoughts on this, particularly Emmerich's recent comments and whether or not you think the DCEU can/will be a shared universe in all ways, or just in name only?41:07 Kerry VanderbergOne of the things that Marvel Studios has somehow managed to avoid is the “Hollywood ego” from affecting their films. One of the things about the film industry is when big egos from producers, studio execs, directors, etc stop cool and creative things from happening. I know this kind of thing happens often in Hollywood, but it does not seem to have been a problem at Marvel Studios. Is it because Fiege is a pretty humble guy as you've talked about before, because his vision is all about putting the story and characters first, or something else? Seriously, I can't help but wonder if there is a big “check in your ego here” sign at the front of the Marvel Studio offices. Why do you think the MCU has managed to avoid the Hollywood ego from affecting the quality and production of their films?44:45 Kerry VanderbergAssuming that only Cap dies in Avengers:Endgame, which characters would be the most socially awkward and fun to watch at Tony and Pepper's wedding? I can't wait to see how Wong handles himself, either talking casually with people or if he gets himself out on the dance floor when a Beyonce song comes on. Likewise, Rocket, Drax, and Nebula seem like they would not know how to handle themselves, so it would be fun to watch.46:59 Brett HeierHey Sean, do you think that Maria Rambou will get her powers in Captain Marvel? Or maybe a post credits scene or something in the sequel. Also, how does Maria Rambou get her powers in the comics? Another question, with the recent rumor that there will be a young avengers movie, how do you think they will introduce Wiccan, Speed, Hulkling, Hawkeye, Patriot, and Stature? Finally, who is your favorite The Good Place character? Mine is bad Janet. Thanks for having an awesome podcast!50:10 Seth GoslinSean, I know you've been disappointed with the treatment of Maria Hill in the films. Do you think that it would require the death of Nick Fury in order for her to stand out and deepen as a character? If not, what else would help?51:20 Seth GoslinI was really excited for the presence of Nick Fury in the last few Captain Marvel trailers. I think we will be introduced to a lot of new characters and it's nice to have the anchor of a known character relate to. I was puzzled by my equal and opposite reaction to Nick Fury in the Spider-Man trailer. My instant reaction was...ooh...maybe there will be too much Nick Fury in 2019. Is it just me?52:23 Seth GoslinDo you think we would ever get Bill Foster/Goliath as a current hero? If so, do you think it would come in the Ant-Man franchise or is there another headliner that you could see him supporting?53:23 Mookie JohnsonAs we all know, Marvel's original plans to have Guardians 3 in 2020 has changed. Presumably, there was some larger  narrative advances towards the next big thing planned for Guardians 3. Do you thing those get shifted to Eternals, eliminated,  or stay with Guardians but just reveal later than originally planned?56:36 Jeremy WatsonHey Sean, do you think that we will get a new Endgame trailer this weekend during the Super Bowl? If so, do you have any guesses as to what we would see? Thanks59:06 ChristofferHello! Been a patrion since the middle of december and I'm really enjoying your content. Especially the Daily Bugle – it's amazing to have something Marvel related to listen to on my way to work. I live in Sweden, so I always wake up to a new episode on workdays except Mondays. Glad to keep paying for it, and I I wish I could tell 11 year old me that everyone can get a daily superhero news radio show in the future. But I won't get more into how podcasts are changing the world, instead I'll get to my very first Q&A question.Since the cancellation of the Netflix shows, I've never heard any podcasts or youtubers – including yours – talk about how the decision to acquire Millerworld might've impacted Netflix's decision. It seems like they might build a whole sueperhero universe based on those comic books. Also, none of the podcasts/youtubers I watch or listen to have mentioned the Umbrella Academy in this context, i.e. what that might lead to in terms of potential spin-offs/franchise building. The discussion seems to be all about the future streaming service rivalry, and not the actual content plans Netflix have to get into the superhero business. What are your thoughts? Could these two Netflix properties have influenced their decision?1:04:40 brentacPrimeAnother DC question. What do you think about the rumor birds of prey (and the really long title) will be rated R?1:11:39 Hector Giovanni NavarreteSo this is more of a technical television question. I've always wondered this. Whenever a big, popular, high budget tv show is being filmed, how does the directing job actually work? Especially on a show that has so many locations, actors, and sets in different places. Does the director literally travel to wherever they are supposed to film for their particular scenes for their particular episode that they've been tasked to direct? Like are the directors actually present for the entirety of their own episode(s)? I hope I made sense. Examples I have in mind are shows like Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Mandalorian, and the potentially the upcoming D+ MCU shows. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Sean answers your Marvel questions!01:32 Woo S! KimAfter seeing what has happened on Marvel Television series' this past year and I didn't believe you fully for years, Sean.  Whether it be on Superhero News, on this podcast when it was called “Making Mine Marvel” or when you rebranded the podcast to its current name that the Marvel TV universe wasn't fully connected with the MCU proper universe, I concede your point, you were correct and I was incorrect perhaps this may change after the Disney/FOX perhaps it will, possibly it may not.  My question is there are so many names for humans with powers in Marvel right now and there will be a famous name that Disney will be able to use in the very near future, I am currently starting Season Two of “The Runawayz” what would you call the characters that have powers on that series?  Going back to my earlier statement could one call them Mutants because my geek mind is remembering that there are some Mutants  that get their powers not through natural genetic mutation, would you be alright with Marvel TV using the name Mutants, even though certain characters will never reference the or team up with the X-Men? Or would you prefer Marvel TV using the term that Captain Rogers used in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”  “Enhanced.”  Me personally there are so many different types of humans with powers in Marvel, and there is going to be even more in two years in the MCU, unless they are identified as an Inhuman etc. I just call a human with powers, a “Hybrid Human.” I may have gotten that name from a Marvel comic, I can't recall.   What are your thoughts, Sean?5:38 Woo S! KimI remember before “Avengers Infinity War” you did not like the idea of the Iron Spider armour from the source material being brought over into the MCU reason being because you said the color scheme from the comics Iron Spider looked too similar from Iron Man's Red and Gold armour, being that Feige and his team differentiated the MCU version from the comics, do you like the Iron Spider Armor in “Avengers: Infinity War?” Also, do you think the Iron Spider armor is a nanotech attachment I just say that because of how the armor connected with Spidey above Earth's atmosphere and how Spidey's armor looks almost exactly like Iron Man's Nanotech Armor, especially how their helmets come on and off in “Avengers: Infinity War”    Lastly, I would prefer in future Avengers films, if Tom Holland's Spidey is going to stick around for the long haul, that he use some version of The Iron Spider armor, what say you, Sean?08:28 Woo S! KimSelfishly after seeing the “Captain Marvel” Special Look on January 7th, after seeing Captain Danvers in the tavern with Nick Fury, I want Thor to survive the Battle with Thanos so we can see a drinking contest between Captain Danvers v. Thor in a future Avengers film, I think Captain Danvers has a good chance of out drinking Thor, what are your thoughts Sean?09:22 Paul ShearmanHey Sean and patrons hope you're all well this week. So, Spider-Man Far From Home trailer - wow! I won't post spoilers in case people haven't seen it yet, but I loved it. The stand out question for me, of course, is - pre or post snap?Im sure you'll be covering the whole trailer (this would be very weird if you didn't!) and I'm looking forward to catching your video reaction later on (one bit in particular at the end I'm sure will be really fun to watch your reaction!).Thanks for your time Sean, and enjoy the rest of your week everyone!13:43 Zachary KleinsasserHey Sean and fellow patrons! Hope everyone is having a great week. I had a thought during your Spider-Man rant on the January 11th Daily Bugle. If Marvel is in talks to purchase Spider-Man and bring him back home, what happens to the ‘Into the Spiderverse' Franchise. I loved that movie and it propelled Miles's and Peter's Spidermen to the top of my favorite lists. I would hate to see the potential for what that universe could be go away. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for all that you do!17:22 Alex WardHi Sean and patrons! Great talking with many of you in Discord yet again this week! I was wondering, do you think Marvel Studios will treat X-Men like the Guardians in terms of having their own team-movie series from the get-go, or will they more likely set them up as their own sub-franchise like the Avengers, where we see separate movies first (maybe, in this case, Wolverine, Storm, Brotherhood of Mutants, etc.) come together for an event "X-Men" movie? Or are the characters too interdependent on each other to standalone, at least through Marvel Studios' perspective? I can't help but think Marvel Studios has bigger plans for X-Men than many of us expect!21:11 Spencer ToycenHey there, Sean! Just a quick question regarding the Kree-Skrull War and possible MCU storylines. Is there any room for Rick Jones in the MCU? He's been a sidekick to everyone, most notably sharing atoms with Mar-Vell, but there's zero chance he'll show up in couple months. Thanks for the podcast and all the hard work!23:42 Alex WardWhat do you think is implied by the construction scene in the Far From Home trailer, and what do you hope it means? https://twitter.com/CharlesMurphTHS/status/1085244708094382084?s=1927:46 AlexSo Sean, it just dawned on me  that there could be some problems with bringing the X-Men and Fantastic Four instead the same world. Particularly since the X-Men are traditionally hated and disliked while the FF are traditionally beloved. I get that there is difference between being a mutant like Charles Xavier and a mutate like Reed Richards but  would people in real life really even care to make that distinction?  Why would the public fear and detest Mutants like Scott Summers and Jean Grey while at the same time revere Mutates who are arguably freakier than a lot of Mutants like Mr. Fantastic — who can stretch? And especially The Thing who's literally the most freakish of them all? Why are the FF not even commonly mistaken for Mutants when there's already an overlap between them and the Mutants? These are serious logic questions that Feige and his team have to address in order to make the integration of these characters they're getting from Fox believable. 32:40 Alexif Peyton Reed were to be offered a choice between directing the first ever MCU Fantastic Four or directing the third installment of Ant-Man which do you imagine  he'd choose over the other? I'm sure you know as well I do  that Peyton has always expressed interest in directing FF and he was even tapped to direct the movie as far as the earl 2000's before  he left over creative differences. Reed in a recent Colider Q&A for Ant-Man & The Wasp pointed out that Feige was there as an assistant developing the movie so Feige is aware of Reed's interest in the property therefore making him a very strong candidate to direct FF.  It would be interesting for things to come full circle and he ends up directing the film but my problem is I'm no fan of Reed(the director, not the stretchy guy)  and would much rather have an independent new director who brings something new to the table like Ryan Coogler, Jon Watts,  Chloé Zhao and Cate Shortland. Sure the Russo's started out making Captain America films before helming  two big Avengers films but that should be the exception to the rule and I'd still much prefer a different director take over director duties for  the FF.37:42 David RosenHey Sean and Friends! Another week, another MCU trailer. It looks like Sony/Marvel tried to do their best in terms of not giving away when this movie takes place, including photo-shopping Peter's passport to remove all the years,  including when it was issued as it seems Peter is picking up it up from a Passport office and that would give it away (although I wonder if he didn't need one to go Germany in Civil War). However, I was wondering if Nick Fury's clothes might also give away something, as he's back in his black outfit, which we haven't seen him wear since CA: Winter Soldier. Since he was still wearing street clothes in the Infinity Way post-credits scene, is the fact that he's back in black a clue that this takes place after Avengers, End Game?40:47 Alex WardOne major Avenger we haven't seen onscreen yet is She-Hulk, but I suspect this partially has to do with the Universal deal, and partially to do with her somewhat-sexist superhero name. Do you think it's possible that if Bruce dies in Endgame or gets "cured," that the next Hulk will be Jennifer Walters (perhaps dropping the "She-")?42:07 Brett HeierHey Sean! I just watched the Spiderman Far From Home trailer, I thought it looked amazing. In one scene Nick Fury and someone else are shooting at the Earth elemental. The other person looked similar to Maria Hill. Do you agree or think that is someone else. Another thing, when Mysterio shows up his powers seem very real, I know he's a special effects master but his powers looked similar to Dr. Strange's. Also, do you think maybe the elementals are just projections by Mysterio so he can look like a hero? Finally, there has been a lot of talk about there being a Sif show. Personally, I would love to see that. I know you would rather have her in a Valkerye show, but what are your thoughts about sif's possible show and her absence from Thor Ragnarok. As always, thanks for having an awesome podcast!47:24 Michael Louis WeaselboyHey Sean I how is your week going?? I hope it is well. So I just watched the Spiderman Far From Home Trailer I loved seeing Mysterio for that brief second and the action looks cool as well. One think I am wondering about tho is what is Vultures role in it?? We know Michael Keaton is in the movie but do you think he has a brief cameo or maybe just a bit part? Thoughts??49:12 AlexWhat are the chances of Nick Fury actually be the Chameleon in disguise who's in cahoots with Mysterio?51:01 Xavier ArquerosHi Sean and fellow Patrons. So I'm going to L.A. in early May and I want to see Avengers Endgame in the best movie theatre possible. I would love a Dolby Cinema or a great IMAX screen. Thanks Sean, keep the good work.53:51 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean and fellow Patrons! So with Nick Fury appearing at the end of IW and potentially coming back in AE, starring in CM, as well as being in SM FFH, and that rumor that said he was either going to be in a D+ series or lead one; do you believe he is going to have an important role in the MCU moving forward past AE and into Phase 4 (if that's what it's called)? If so, how do you think he will be used? I'm glad that he is coming back after a long absence after AoU!55:58 Derek BeebeHi Sean, this is my first time Qing for your A, so I apologize if this has already been done. What do you think of the current Marvel cartoons?  (Avengers, Spider-Man, GOTG)  Are you watching them on the reg? I just read an article rumoring they're about to cancel all the series for the Disney Plus switch.  Do you know anything about that?57:25 Derek BeebeWhat did you think of the last generation of Marvel cartoons?  (Avengers EMH, Spectacular Spiderman, Wolverine and X-Men, Iron Man Armored Adventures)  I was particularly enamored with AEMH and SSPM!57:29 Derek BeebeWhat's your opinion of the 90s Spider-Man and X-Men series?  Those were my introduction to the comics and they hold a special place in my heart, though both had terrible final seasons.58:46 Derek BeebeWhy would Peter know who Nick Fury is in Far From Home?  Isn't he a secret spy?  (you answered this in Discord but I figure it makes for good radio)1:00:17 Derek BeebeWhat's your opinion on when Far From Home takes place?1:00:30 Derek BeebeIf Mysterio is an American character, what's his excuse for showing up when these monsters attack in Europe?1:00:57 AlexWhat do you think about my idea  of when the MCU X-Men happens  the they have the X-Men  get in the colorful comic-accurate costumes and MCU Wolverine laments the fact that they wear such flashy costumes only for MCU Scott to respond with,"What would you prefer black1 leather spandex?" See what I did there?1:01:29 AlexHow would you handle the FF's celebrity status in the MCU if they might potentially will appearing in the MCU as modern day heroes  after the Avengers and Spider-Man have shown to be big superhero celebrities already?1:03:25 AlexWhen discussing the prospect of ending the era of the MCU that started in 2008 with ''Iron Man" Feige cited The Star Trek Next Generation series finale ''All Good Things..'' as a reference for how to wrap up a series.  Though obviously the MCU will continue past Endgame have you for curiosity's sake checked out that episode of Trek and I realize I'm asking you this question not knowing whether or not you're a Star Trek fan.  When Feige  mentioned that episode he pointed out that episode wasn't about death  but about the finality it brought to the characters --namely Picard in which he pointed out that character started playing poker with the rest of crew which should've done earlier.  While obviously that doesn't mean nobody will die  since Fiege was merely using that as  an example to illustrate his point but I gotta say it makes me wonder can Marvel get away with not really killing anybody in Endgame?1:10:16 Moonie HassanHey Sean, so I was having a discussion about what the FFH indicates to the end of Endgame, if what Feige said was true about FFH picking up minutes right after Endgame, then doesn't the tone from the FFH trailer seem a bit off? You would think it would be a bit more somber or down, unless the hero's that were dusted return without any memory of what happened in Infinity War, thoughts?1:15:11 Hector Giovanni NavarreteIn regards to the D+ series, would the actor reprising their roles to play these characters have had to have signed new deals/contracts in order to do so? I am assuming they did have to. If so, is that a good sign that these actors/actresses like playing these characters in the MCU? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
