* You can get the sermon note sheet at: https://family-bible-church.org/2026Messages/26Apr05.pdf Last Sunday, we began to look at Christ's fulfillment of the three spring feasts of Israel - Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits. * In that message, we saw that YHWH had declared a specific order of events that would occur in the celebration of these feasts beginning with the Selection of the Lamb on the 10th day of Nisan. That lamb was then supposed to sacrificed at twilight on the 14th day. The Feast of Unleavened Bread would then begin on the 15th day (which begins at sundown) with the eating of the lamb which was roasted. The first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread was also to be considered a Holy Convocation (a Special Sabbath) to YHWH. * The Feast of Firstfruits fell on the 1st day of the week which followed the weekly Sabbath of the Passover celebration. That would be day when Jesus rose from the dead! The women came to the tomb while it was yet dark and found the stone rolled away with the tomb empty! As recorded in the original Greek of Matthew 28:1, there were actually more than one "Sabbaths" between the time that Jesus died and rose from the dead (those would have been the 1st day of Unleavened Bread and the weekly Sabbath). * Jesus sacrificial death on the cross fulfilled the Passover sacrifice and became the basis for the fellowship of the church, and a desire for us to live "unleavened" (sinless) lives. * Today, we will see the importance of His fulfillment of the Feast of Firstfruits to the Completion of the Good News, the Confirmation of your Faith, and the Consummation of Future Events! * This message was presented by Bob Corbin on April 5, 2026 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.

Most retreat leaders focus on the itinerary. But what makes guests come back year after year isn't the schedule - it's the culture. In this episode, Shannon is joined by leadership expert and culture strategist Nathan Jamail (whom she is biased to say is amazing) to break down how retreat leaders can intentionally build culture instead of just planning programming. They discuss: How culture impacts everything How to create loyalty beyond a single event Alumni communities that actually stay engaged Setting customer experience standards Why some retreats create raving fans - and others don't If you want recurring revenue, repeat guests, and long-term brand equity, this episode will shift how you think about your retreat business. Recorded in our new studio space in Austin - and available on YouTube as well. What You'll Learn Why itinerary doesn't equal experience The role leadership energy plays in culture How to design belonging - not just activities How to turn one-time guests into long-term community The operational standards behind unforgettable retreats Key Takeaways Culture is what people feel, not what's printed on the schedule. Loyalty is built intentionally, not accidentally. Clear standards create consistency and trust. Raving fans are the result of alignment and leadership - not luck. Retreat businesses that scale focus on community, not just events. Watch on YouTube This episode was recorded in our new Austin studio space. You can now watch the full conversation on YouTube. The White Mountains have a special talent for making strong hikers question their life choices, and their mileage math. In this episode, I'm joined by Eli Burakian and Justin Chapman, the brains behind Northeast Trail Adventures, to break down what makes the Northeast so rugged, so beloved, and so different from anywhere else.Sign up for the retreat: https://northeasttrailadventures.com/We dig into Moosilauke as the first true alpine-style summit for northbound AT hikers, the old-school trail design philosophy (straight up, minimal mercy), and the culture shift where vert matters more than pace. Please explain 'our mother from above' in Galatians 4:26. Will we each have different rewards when we get to heaven? What are your thoughts on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Book of Enoch? How long should the courting stage be? How should a pastor of a church deal with a member with whom he has a dispute - is it ok to confront the issue on the pulpit? How should members be disciplined? Do church members have a say in the affairs of the church? Is Venezuela in Bible prophecy? During evangelism, how should a believer balance staying focused on the Gospel versus debating a false belief or argument against the Bible? How should I respond when I'm laughed at for warning two believers of the opposite sex that they appear too close for comfort and to be watchful, especially if one is married. Can God reveal to someone in the church a conversation I had by myself in my house? Can you expound on 'unequally yoked'? Can you explain the unforgiveable sin, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? What are the teachings of the Pentecostal church, and are they going to heaven? Listen as Pastor/Dr. David Murphy discusses these and other listener questions.

#353 In this episode, Guy interviewed Gary Wimmer. He shared his extraordinary near-death experience from 1977 and its profound impact on his life. He discussed his premonitions, psychic abilities, and how they prepared him for an intense week leading up to being hit by a car. This event catalyzed his spiritual journey, leading to a deeper connection with his guides and a clear vision of the future, including significant global events like 9/11 and COVID-19. He emphasizes the importance of free will, connecting with spiritual guides, and using life's challenges as opportunities for growth. Wimmer, an accomplished musician and psychic, also delved into his unique method of LithoMancy and encouraged listeners to believe in miracles and personal power. About Gary: I have been a professional psychic, advisor and spiritualist for 50+ years. Giving readings is the easy and inspiring part of what I do. Other steps - contacting folks, confirming all info, scheduling a day & time, compressing the recording, testing then sending the link, etc. - take at least 15 minutes for every reading. I offer readings using pure intuition, regular playing cards, and Lithomancy, a fascinating and revealing but little-known methodology. Darkness Syndicate members get the ad-free version: https://weirddarkness.tiny.us/ydvfnybmIN THIS EPISODE: The captain and crew of the ocean vessel St. Andrew not only saw what appeared to be a flying saucer – but narrowly avoided being destroyed by it when it dove into the sea, almost crashing into their ship. (The Falling Saucer) *** We hear of crashed UFOs, flying saucers, or extraterrestrial spacecraft – but… how reliable are the stories we've been told? We'll look at cases after the Roswell incident to see if they hold up. (Where Are The Crashed UFOs?) *** In the Mexican city of Durango there lived a witch who, while stunning beautiful, was grotesquely ugly when it came to her soul and personality – because people never seemed to believe her when she told them of the powers she possessed. And some regretted that. (The Witch of Durango) *** Imagine yourself in the Old West renting a carriage, forgetting to return it the next morning on time, and because of that, having the finger of murder being pointed at you. That's what happened to Hattie Woolsteen. (The Trial of Hattie Woolsteen) *** A cemetery off the western coast of Winnipeg has lost its gravestones, the house that used to be there is gone, but that doesn't mean that souls don't reside there. (The Legend of Nes Cemetery) *** But first – we'll look at nine books, works of fiction, but somehow they eerily predicted the future with stunning accuracy. We begin with that story.
