Ukraine and Gaza are the two hot button spots of today's times, and they both pit America and some European leaders against each other. Will these cross-purposes lead America into war with Europe? An almost incomprehensible idea to contemplate, and that's why your host, Carole Lieberman, M.D., The Terrorist Therapist®, discusses it on today's podcast. The evidence of this is clear, with European leaders inviting themselves to the White House to “support” Zelensky in his meeting with President Trump. Similarly, some European leaders have already announced their intent to recognize ‘Palestine' as a state, contrary to America's position on this. First, we look at the war in Ukraine and how it emboldens terrorists and makes the threat of terrorism worse, from allowing them to learn from the drones and other weapons to teaching them combat skills they can bring home or to countries they want to attack, and more.  Next, we look at how the tsunami of Radical Islamist migrants has overtaken Europe, destroying its culture and economic stability, despite the original expectations that opening their doors to these migrants would be a good thing. It's a stark warning to America. Finally, we look at the shocking developments in the surreptitious arrival of so-called Palestinian ‘refugees' landing at airports throughout America, brought in by charities affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, and what will be done about it.

In this episode of Crossing Faiths, John Pinna speaks with Minhas Kahn about her book, Divine Diplomacy, which explores the impact of post-9/11 American evangelicals on Pakistan-United States relations. Kahn details how her research challenged initial perceptions of evangelicals, revealing that many engaged in positive diplomacy through humanitarian aid, fostering interfaith harmony, and advocating for religious freedom. She argues that this engagement not only influenced US foreign policy but also helped create a better understanding at a local level in Pakistan, leading to new dialogues and initiatives. The conversation also delves into the complexities of US-Pakistan relations, the misuse of religion for political purposes, the differing interpretations of concepts like blasphemy laws, and Pakistan's strategic need to balance its alliances with major world powers. Dr. Minhas Kahn is an Associate Professor of International Relations with nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, and policy engagement. She earned her Master's from the University of Peshawar in 2005 and began her academic career soon after, joining the Department of International Relations as a lecturer in 2006. Her Ph.D. research, “Evangelicals' Influence on U.S. Foreign Policy: Impact on Pakistan–U.S. Relations (2001–2007),” earned her a fully funded fellowship at the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim–Christian Understanding (ACMCU) at Georgetown University in 2010, followed by her selection as a SUSI Scholar at the University of Florida in 2012. She completed her Ph.D. in 2013 and progressed to Assistant Professor in 2014 before assuming her current role as Associate Professor. Dr. Kahn has also held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad, researching religious freedom and democracy in Pakistan under the U.S. International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA). This work, along with her fellowship at the Center for Women, Faith, and Leadership (CWFL) in Washington DC, reflects her commitment to understanding the complex ties between religion, politics, and security. Her published work explores religious extremism and terrorism, interfaith dynamics, peacebuilding, countering violent extremism, Islamophobia and Westophobia, South Asian regional politics, and the role of gender in peace and security. She regularly presents her research at national and international conferences and remains dedicated to producing scholarship that bridges divides and informs policy.

Focusing on Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī (d. 1111) – one of the foremost scholars and authorities in the Muslim world who is central to the Islamic intellectual tradition – this book embarks on a study of doubt (shakk) and certainty (yaqīn) in his epistemology. Ghazālī's Epistemology: A Critical Study of Doubt and Certainty (Routledge, 2024) looks at Ghazālī's attitude to philosophical demonstration and Sufism as a means to certainty. In early scholarship surrounding Ghazālī, he has often been blamed as the one who single-handedly offered the death-blow to philosophy in the Muslim world. In much of contemporary scholarship, Ghazālī is understood to prefer philosophy as the ultimate means to certainty, granting Sufism a secondary status. Hence, much of previous scholarship has either focused on Ghazālī as a Sufi or as a philosopher; this book takes a parallel approach, and acknowledges each discipline in its right place. It analyses Ghazālī's approach to acquiring certainty, his methodological scepticism, his foundationalism, his attitude to authoritative instruction (taʿlim), and the place of philosophical demonstration and Sufism in his epistemology. Offering a systematic and comprehensive approach to Ghazālī's epistemology, this book is a valuable resource for scholars of Islamic philosophy and Sufism in particular, and for educated readers of Islamic studies in general. Mary welcomes back Usama Dakdok to lay a firm foundation on who exactly owns that contested piece of land called "Israel". Usama was born in Egypt and grew up in a Christian home. While in government schools in Egypt, he learned about Islam just as every other student does in a Muslim country. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslims in Congo kill three, set cars ablaze, & abduct others There were two separate attacks attributed to the Allied Democratic Forces, a Muslim terrorist group operating in the eastern area of the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports International Christian Concern. The first ambush occurred on the evening of Saturday, August 9 in North Kivu Province.  The Muslims targeted a specific vehicle and abducted its passengers. The second, more deadly attack occurred during the night of Sunday, August 10 in the Ituri Province.  They killed three people, set ablaze several vehicles and houses, and abducted many residents who remain missing. Nearly 10,000 sign petition demanding Toronto mayor end taxpayer funding to homosexual ‘pride' events A petition signed by 10,000 people has been submitted to Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow demanding an end to taxpayer funding of homosexual/ transgender “pride” events, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Earlier this month, Gregory Tomchyshyn, the Canadian campaign director for Citizen Go, dropped off a petition to Mayor Chow calling for her government to end its lavish spending of taxpayer dollars on the promotion of sexual perversion, including the “Toronto Pride” parade. For years now, LifeSiteNews has documented the event's crude floats, public nudity, and public displays of sexual exhibitionism. The petition said, “Mayor Olivia Chow and Toronto City Council just handed $350,000 in taxpayer money to Pride Toronto, despite the event's history of public nudity and indecent displays in full view of families and children.” According to Canadian Broadasting Corporation News, “Pride Toronto” will see its taxpayer funding hiked by 26 percent since fewer corporations want to promote sexual immorality. Venezuelan Evangelical Christians march for Jesus Thousands of Evangelical Christians mobilized across Venezuela during the March for Jesus, reports The Christian Post.  The event featured preaching, public worship, biblical reflection, and prayers for Venezuela. According to the Latin Evangelical Alliance, this year's theme was: “Jesus, the nations belong to You.” Social media was filled with images of the march, which was held not only in cities but also in rural towns. Pastor José Piñero, executive director of the Evangelical Council of Venezuela, addressed the crowd in Cumaná with a message in Spanish focused on grace.  I'll translate this 9-sentence clip in a moment. (Piñero speaks in Spanish) Pastor  Piñero said, “We are here because this land cries out for hope. And that hope has a name. And His name is Jesus Christ! (cheers) “Today, we march with purpose, with conviction, with firm love.  We don't march for ideologies. We don't march for human agendas. We don't march for political agendas. We don't march for sectarian agendas.  We come with the eternal Word of God, the Bible.” Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every W ord of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Seventeen percent of Venezuela's population is comprised of Protestants and 71% is Catholic. Trump-Putin meeting in Anchorage today about ending Russo-Ukrainian War Anchorage, Alaska Mayor Suzanne LaFrance, an Independent, has announced that the city is “prepared and ready” for President Donald Trump's high-stakes meeting today with Russian President Vladimir Putin about ending the Russo-Ukrainian War. The meeting is set to be held at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Trump seeks to extend federal D.C. takeover as ‘sanctuary city' policies put on ice In an effort to eradicate violent crime in our nation's capital, President Donald Trump is preparing to ask Congress to extend the 30-day limit on his federal takeover of Washington, D.C. When asked by a reporter Thursday if he intends to seek congressional approval to prolong his federalization of D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department, the president said this in reply. TRUMP: “Well, if it's a national emergency, we can do it without Congress, but we expect to be before Congress very quickly. We think the Democrats will not do anything to stop crime, but we think the Republicans will do it almost unanimously.” The president began moving federal law enforcement agents into D.C. late last week, following the vicious beating of a Department of Government Efficiency staffer, 19-year-old Edward Cristine, who intervened in a carjacking to protect the female victim. On August 11th, President Trump officially took federal control of the D.C. police department and quickly mobilized the D.C. National Guard. Between August 7 and the morning of August 13, the federal crackdown yielded 103 arrests on charges ranging from suspected homicide and narcotics to firearm offenses and even illegal immigration. Woman sues Marine who allegedly poisoned her drink with 10 abortion pills And finally, Liana Davis, a Texas woman, has become the latest victim of a disturbing case of the abortion kill pill being used against her, and she's taking her pain to court, reports The Washington Stand. Her lawsuit alleges that Christopher Cooprider, a 34-year-old U.S. Marine, impregnated her and repeatedly pressured her to “get rid” of the baby, despite her firm refusals. According to the federal lawsuit, Davis has accused Cooprider of dissolving at least 10 misoprostol pills into her drink, without her knowledge, at her Corpus Christi home while she was eight weeks pregnant with his child. It only took 30 minutes after drinking the spiked beverage for Davis to start “hemorrhaging and cramping.” She asked for his help, but Cooprider fled the scene and was unreachable.  In a text at 12:30a.m., she wrote, “I am gushing blood. Please hurry.” But he never responded.  Tragically, their baby died. The first half of Proverbs 28:13 describes Christopher Cooprider well. “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” The wrongful death lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from Cooprider and Aid Access, the company which sold the abortion kill pill to the randy Marine. According to NBC News, “The Corpus Christi Police Department said there are no active investigations involving Cooprider.”  The Marine declined to comment as well. According to a new study from the Journal of the American Medical Association, Aid Access shipped 118,000 chemical abortion pill packs into the U.S. between July 2023 and September 2024. On X, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins wrote, “The Trump administration must take action now. 1 in 10 women suffer severe complications from the abortion pill. Traffickers and others use easy drug access to control women and kill unborn children. Friday, 15 August 2025   But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 12:28   “And if in God's Spirit I, I eject the demons, then it preceded upon you, the ‘God's kingdom'” (CG).   In the previous verse, Jesus trapped the Pharisees with a question concerning the casting out of demons by their sons, meaning their disciples. With that complete, He now states a proposition to be accepted or rejected by the hearer, beginning with an emphatic statement, “And if in God's Spirit I, I eject the demons.”   Jesus has just clearly demonstrated that He cannot be ejecting demons by Beelzebul, something the Pharisees would have to grant based on His logic. Understanding that it is not by Beelzebul, then it must be from another source. In fact, it can only be from one source. And so He says, “then it preceded upon you, the ‘God's kingdom.'”   Here is a new word, phthanó (ff-than-oh), to precede, as in arriving ahead of time. Because of this, it is an arrival “before something which indicates priority in importance or sequence” (HELPS Word Studies).   The use of this word by Jesus indicates that He had already been on the scene, performing healings and miracles while preaching the gospel, but the people didn't realize that He was who He, in fact, turned out to be. One might paraphrase the thought, “Jesus walked among us, and before we knew it, He had revealed Himself to be the Messiah.”   The sense of the word can be seen from Paul's description of the rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4:15 –   “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede (phthanó) those who are asleep.”   Jesus cast out demons. He was accused of having derived His authority from Beelzebub. He demonstrated that such could not be the case. Therefore, what He had accomplished was evidence that what He did was from God, and thus God's kingdom had already come upon them.   As usual, the spiritual leaders of Israel missed the boat in understanding the significance of the events around them. Today, two thousand years later, they sit in synagogues and miss the fact that God's kingdom has come, rejecting Jesus, and thus rejecting their only hope of salvation.   Life application: It is common in evangelical Christian circles for people to give Jews a pass on not accepting Jesus, as if they are ok without Him. This comes in varying degrees. The most extreme case of this heresy is that of dual covenantalism, something preached by John Hagee. It is also the set doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. Even if it is not openly taught, it is in their doctrinal writings.   Others may not openly understand or accept this doctrine, but they still hold to it in their thinking, trying to rationalize away why Jews are ok with God because they are “God's people,” even while understanding that Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc., are condemned without Jesus.   This attitude stems from a failure to understand who “God's people” are at a given time. Hosea prophesied of a time when His people would no longer be His people, but those who were not His people would be His people. Paul explains this in Romans 9-11.   While the Jews are out of God's favor, they are “God's people” only in anticipation of restoration. However, they are not His people for salvation. Rather, that belongs to those -Jews and Gentiles – who have received Jesus. They are a part of the church.   That day will end at the rapture, and a simple question clears up the heretical notion that the Jews today are “God's people.” Will the Jews who don't believe in Jesus be taken at the rapture? The answer is obvious, “No.” Rather, they as a collective group will go through the tribulation. This proves that they are not now “God's people” except in anticipation of restoration.   The Christian community would do far better by evangelizing Jews than by proclaiming that they are God's people, thus bolstering the idea in their minds (meaning the Jews) that they think Christians believe they are right with God. Without Jesus, there is no salvation. Remember the basic equation –   In proper theology, one plus one will always equal two.   “‘I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.' 39 They answered and said to Him, ‘Abraham is our father.' Jesus said to them, ‘If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.'” John 8:37-41   Being a descendant (physically descended from) Abraham does not mean one is a child of Abraham from a spiritual perspective. Rather –   “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6 just as Abraham ‘believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.' 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, ‘In you all the nations shall be blessed.' 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” Galatians 3:5-9   Glorious God, help to get our thinking right in relation to what You are doing in redemptive history. Too many reject Israel because of their misdeeds, as if they no longer have the promises of the prophets. But too many fail to acknowledge that without Jesus, the Jews stand condemned. Help us to have clarity of thought, and to pray for and evangelize to this beloved, set-aside group of people. Amen.

This week on the Mark Levin Show, the Justice Department is launching a federal grand jury investigation into former Obama administration officials accused of their role in 2016's Russia-gate. This legal move could lead to criminal charges against key Cabinet members from the Obama era, including James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey. President Barack Obama needs to be questioned for his role. Barack Obama is the central figure in uncovering the full scope of the Russia Collusion scandal and the attempt to undermine the Trump campaign and presidency. The Supreme Court does not grant him blanket immunity. It offers a presumption of immunity, which could be challenged based on what the investigation reveals. Regardless, there is no immunity from criminal investigation or from being compelled to testify under oath—period.
