And in the concluding episode of the (ongoing) story of Princess Michael of Kent, we watch aghast as the Anglican and Catholic churches battle over the pending nuptials of Prince Michael and his sweet Marie-Christine, and then Alicia tries (and seems to largely fail) to explain to Stacie why British law and custom required Prince Michael of Kent to marry Princess Michael of Kent, and not Baroness Marie-Christine. Seems like Prince Michael's cousin Queen Elizabeth II could have done him - and his fiance - a solid here with some alternative title, but I guess not. Then, we again watch aghast as Princess Michael of Kent unloads on the deceased Princess Diana (and the then-Prince of Wales, by proxy) and lobs some racist displays in the general direction of Meghan Markle. Why? It's just a matter of tradition, apparently. Yikes, this one is trashy. Listen ad-free at patreon.com/trashyroyalspodcast. He was born in Tver in 1272 to Prince Yaroslav Yaroslavovich, who was the brother of St Alexander Nevsky (November 23). Michael was brought up in the faith by his mother, who later became a nun. Such was his fervor that from childhood he was certain that he must end his life either as a monk or a martyr. He succeeded his brother as Prince of Tver in 1285, and later became Grand Prince of Vladimir, the Russian capital during the Mongol conquest. When Prince Michael lost the throne of Vladimir through the plotting of his kinsman Prince George, his advisers urged him to go to war against George; but he preferred to lose power rather than to subject his people to bloodshed. When George attacked Tver itself, Michael took up arms to defend it, and was victorious. One of his prisoners was Princess Agatha, George's wife and the sister of the Tatar Khan. When she died in captivity, the full wrath of both George and the Tatars was aroused against Michael. The Prince knew that the only way to avert catastrophe for his people was to go to the Golden Horde to be judged at the Khan's court. Michael's kinsmen and advisors knew that such a course would surely lead to his death, but none were able to dissuade him from going to save his people. Michael was kept prisoner with a wooden yoke around his neck, and subjected to many humiliations by the Tatars. But as he awaited his sentence he remained calm, spending his days in chanting the Church services and the Psalms. On the night of 21-22 November he had a revelation of his impending death. He attended the Liturgy, took Communion, and embraced his family. Then, opening the Psalter, he read the words Cast thy burden on the Lord, and He will sustain thee: He will never permit the righteous to be moved (Ps 54). He then calmly greeted his kinsman George and his minions, who pounced on the Prince and ran him through with swords. Prince Michael's relics were returned to Moscow, then translated to Tver in 1320. When the city was besieged in 1549, St Michael appeared to the inhabitants in the form of a mounted knight, armed for battle.

Why have an issue on “Generations?” Peter and Susannah discuss the genesis of the current issue, and then go into the issues covered in Pete's lead editorial. Why do we feel the need for roots? Is this something that should be purely met within the church? How does God renew our natural ties, and our ability to love intergenerationally? What are the promises and perils of the rooted life? And how can the wisdom of Christ help us avoid deracination on one hand and the worship of blood and soil on the other? Then, they discuss with Prince Michael zu Salm-Salm his piece containing the distilled wisdom of a thousand years of his ancestors living in one spot, working the forests and vineyards of southern Germany. What does that kind of perspective give? They also talk about the Prince's ecumenical work, in which he aims to mend the rifts of the Wars of Religion, through repentance under the Lordship of Christ. Plus, winemaking!
Hi, to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.this is going to be another horrific one, thanks to Kim.trigger warning this is horrible as usual, and there is a little child involved, so if you can not stomach child abuse, please tune in next week for a more laid back episode.Elisa Izquierdo (Feb 11, 1989 – Nov 22, 1995) was a precious, innocent six-year-old Puerto Rican–Cuban-American little girl who died of a brain hemorrhage inflicted by her dreadful mother, Awilda Lopez. This all occurred at the height of a prolonged & increasing rampage of physical, mental, emotional, and sexual child abuse that took place between 1994 and 1995.It was described by authorities in NYC as the "worst case of child abuse they had ever seen."The life and death of Elisa Izquierdo first made national headlines when it became clear that the city's child welfare system, had missed many chances to intervene with her family and save her life. These failures to protect Elisa, became the inspiration for Elisa's Law, and increased accountability of all parties involved in child welfare within the city Elisa's Law was implemented in February 1996.Elisa has been referred to as a modern-day Cinderella because she had at first been under the protection of a loving father and had befriended Prince Michael of Greece, who had offered to pay for her private tuition until 12th grade—before being placed into the permanent custody of her mother. This terrible tale is unfortunately a true one. Please take care and stay safe, Love Steph and Kim xx References:https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/13940948/elisa-izquierdohttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Elisa_Izquierdohttps://medium.com/@grantbjork92/abuse-and-murder-of-6-year-old-elisa-izquierdo-murderstation-a06a811c2112Photographs and additional reading.https://ms-my.facebook.com/IllicitDeeds/photos/a.403740360271849/886096018702945/?type=3Resources:https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/mentalhealth/Pages/contact-service.aspx#24-hourhttps://www.beyondblue.org.auhttps://www.betterhelp.comFind us at:Instagram: SolvedunsolvedorspookyFacebook: SolvedunsolvedorspookyEmail: solvedunsolvedorspooky@gmail.comSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=45582970)Support the show

This is the strange tale of a British family who decided to establish their own nation. On Christmas Eve 1966, Paddy Bates and his son, Michael, took possession of an abandoned anti-aircraft gun emplacement seven and a half miles off the coast of southeast England. The following year, they declared independence. Fifty-two years later they are still independent despite the occasional hiccup such as an armed invasion by German merceneries. Mike McDowall spoke to Michael Bates, now Prince Michael of Sealand. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/remarkablestories/message
Read by Hugo Vickers, Gregory Cox, Julie Teal and Sandra Duncan. The insights and memories of a member of the British Royal Family - HRH The Duke of Kent - in conversation with Hugo Vickers about some of the key events of his life and The Queen's reign. HRH The Duke of Kent has been at the heart of the British Royal Family throughout his life. As a working member of the Royal Family, he has supported his cousin, The Queen, representing her at home and abroad. His royal duties began when, in 1952, at the age of 16, he walked in the procession behind King George VI's coffin, later paying homage to The Queen at her coronation in 1953. Since then, he has witnessed and participated in key royal occasions. He represented The Queen at independence ceremonies from the age of 25, he was riding with her when blanks were fired at Trooping the Colour in 1981, he was the oldest soldier on parade at Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph in November 2020 and he was alongside The Queen at her official birthday celebrations in June 2021 as colonel of the Scots Guards. No member of the Royal Family has spoken extensively of the modern reign and their part in it before. A Royal Life is a unique account based on a series of conversations between the duke and acclaimed royal historian Hugo Vickers. It covers some of the most important moments and experiences of the duke's life, from his upbringing at his family home Coppins in Buckinghamshire, his 21 years of army life, his royal tours and events, through to his work for over 140 different organisations, including presenting the trophies at Wimbledon for more than 50 years. Here, too, are recollections of family members including his mother, Princess Marina; his grandmother, Queen Mary; his cousin, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh; and his uncle, King George VI. Other members of the Royal Family contribute their memories, including his wife, the Duchess of Kent, the duke's siblings, Princess Alexandra and Prince Michael of Kent, his son, the Earl of St Andrews, his daughter, Lady Helen Taylor as well as his cousins, Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia, Archduchess Helen of Austria and her brother, Hans Veit Toerring. A Royal Life is an unprecedented, insightful and remarkable slice of royal history.

Every day, roughly 100 people in the United States are killed in road crashes. Globally, that number is approximately Ten to 15% of those deaths are directly attributable to distracted driving. Driving distracted increases the chances of a motor vehicle crash by at least 23 times. Statistically, distracted driving is as dangerous as driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol. So, what is being done to tackle distracted driving? In this latest episode of Global Road Safety, we're joined by two special guests: Paul Ripley, founder of Distraction 999 and the 2020 winner of the Prince Michael of Kent Special Road Safety Award:“A lack of skill is the problem. Youngsters' attitude is 25% of the safety equation, but it's never spoken about, it's never mentioned. So this is why I've gone into the attitudinal stuff and studied that for 28 years. This is the golden nugget of driver safety — it's a mindset, not necessarily a skill set.” Paul Ripley Ted Chen, entrepreneur, and co-founder of LifeSaver Mobile, a company offering a fleet safety solution focused on preventing distracted driving and speeding shares his thoughts on distracted driving.“Science tells us that our brains are programmed by this chemical called dopamine to be addicted to the smartphone. Smartphones have provided us with a virtually unlimited supply of social stimuli, both positive and negative.” Ted ChenTo find out how we can all tackle distracted driving and keep our roads safer, download and listen today. Saskia Marjoram is passionate about flowers and how we interact with them. And has worked with flowers at some level for her whole life. Starting out as a professional gardener for Prince Michael of Kent and then, for 10 years whilst her children were growing she moved on to being a florist - mostly for HRH Prince of Wales where her work took her to palaces and banquets around the country. In her 30's her relationship was falling apart, her children were having educational and behavioural issues and she was suffering from burnout. It was then that a homeopath friend of hers, also having problems, suggested they try flower essences… and miraculously they worked. However they couldn't afford all of the essences they needed. It didn't look that difficult to make them, and being women who were always up for trying things they made their first flower essence in 2003 and Saskia's Flower Essences was born. For many years they ran the company as a side hustle developing a range of single and combination essences and learning more and more about what each essence could help with until, in 2018, Saskia decided to rebrand and dedicate her life to getting the essences to a wider audience. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and is now regarded as one of the main female led companies producing flower essences in the UK. She has a shop dedicated to her essences and other related products in Somerset and has a thriving flower essence therapy practice.

For the first, and probably the last, time the bureau are joined by a member of royalty - Prince Michael of Sealand The Principality of Sealand claims a population of 27, is around 4500 m2 and lies 7.5 miles off the coast of the UK - it is situated on a World War Two Maunsell fort and claims to be an independent sovereign state. It is one of several micro-nations dotted around the globe and its history is an extraordinary David and Goliath narrative worthy of a Bond movie. Sealand's ruler, Prince Michael, regales us with tales of his extraordinary father, nautical derring do and astonishing childhood adventures on the high seas. Sealand is the smallest country in the world. Located just off the coast of the UK in international waters, the country was 'founded' when Prince Michael's dad took over an abandoned World War II defense post and turned it into a pirate radio station. How do you keep broadcasting AND keep her majesty's government off your back? Claim you're not part of the UK. And it's worked. Sealand has happily existed since 1967.Prince Michael talks with Luke and Heidi about the country- how did they form, what's their relationship like with England and does he ever get mail intended for other princes? Bill Gates famously said, “We always overestimate the change that will occur in the next two years and underestimate the change that will occur in the next ten. Don't let yourself be lulled into inaction.” That gets quoted often these days, because it so well captures the times we live in. In that vein, it was a special pleasure to be invited recently to a roundtable aimed at envisioning the financial system of 2030. The event was the second in a series hosted by Prince Michael of Liechtenstein, a three day conversation with incredibly thoughtful people drawn from banks, fintech companies, cryptocurrency, global NGOs, technologists, and regulators, from all over the world. It was organized by Dr. Thomas Puschmann, Director of the Swiss FinTech Innovation Lab at the University of Zurich.

If you are a budding twitcher, no trip to these parts would be complete with a visit to the Saltee Islands, regarded as one of the most important birdwatching sites in not just Ireland, but Europe with over 220 species of birds recorded. There are three main groups of birds on these islands: 1) breeding seabirds, 2) resident land birds and 3) migrant birds. Birds are but one of the many travellers to these islands. Besides the Anglo-Normans, Celts and Vikings, the islands was home to pirates, monks, rebels, fishermen and farmers. Believed to be named by the Vikings (Norse Salt Ey meaning Salt island) from the phenomenon of the salty spray which sweeps across the islands at times of high winds and waves, especially during the winter. On a more colourful note, the islands have had some flamboyant owners in recent times. In December 1943 the Saltees were purchased privately by the late Prince Michael the First. Since his death in January 1998 the islands are now owned by his five sons Michael, John Manfred, Paul, Richard and daughter Anne. He is buried in the family vault in Bannow Bay, Co.Wexford. His title was passed on to his eldest son Michael. In around the year 1920, a nine year old boy named Michael Neale made a vow to his mother that one day he would own the Saltees and become their first Prince. Twenty three years later in December 1943 he realised his dream. However his coronation on the Great Saltee did not take place until July 1956. A throne, flag-staff and obelisk were shipped to the Great Saltee, the obelisk bearing a plaque with his likeness in profile. The throne is a memorial to his mother and features a coat of arms and the following inscription: "This chair is erected in memory of my mother to whom I made a vow when I was ten years old that one day I would own the Saltee Islands and become the First Prince of the Saltees. Henceforth my heirs and successors can only proclaim themselves Prince of these Islands by sitting in this chair fully garbed in the robes and crown of the Islands and take the Oath of Succession" - Michael the First. One of the first jobs undertook on the Great Saltee was the levelling of a field in the centre of the island as a landing strip for his private airplanes. He was taught to fly by Capt.Darby Kennedy (Weston Aerodrome) and regularly flew his Miles Messenger aircraft to the islands. Between 1945 and 1950 over 34,000 trees and shrubs were planted on the island. The most successful of these were Cordyline Palms, which are flourishing to this day. Little Saltee, half the size of the main island, remained inhabited up until the end of the second World War. Then in 1977, Henry Grattan Bellew and his partner, Shirley, made the restoration of Little Saltee Island their active retirement project when they came back to Ireland from southern Africa. Grattan Bellew also put pen to paper with his account of his stay on Little Saltee and environs entitled 'A Pinch of Saltee' which by all accounts is quite a thrilling read. To explore the Great Saltee, you'll need to take a boat there from Kilmore Quay operated by Declan Bates. Please note that there is no port on the Great Saltee and that you will be transferred to a dinghy to complete the trip. Be in good health, wrap up and wear appropriate footwear for the trip! "The Benjamin Fulford Report" With Mrs. Chemtrail The final game plan of the Rothschilds was to reverse the results of World War I by reinstating the German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian monarchies, sources in Germany and the US agree. The plan that is now unfolding in Europe calls for a civil war against a â??Muslimâ?? enemy. The so-called â??Muslimâ?? terrorists are being financed with money supposed to be spent on fighting so-called carbon induced global warming, the sources ad. This is why we are seeing daily â??Muslimâ?? terror attacks that seem to always involve â??lone wolvesâ?? who die in the attack. That way there is no need to have a messy trial where facts might have a chance of intruding into the public mind. In any case the sources say that after a summer of increasingly severe terrorist attacks, European bank ATMs will be shut down, possibly in August or September. It is at this point where the royal families will present themselves as â??saviorsâ?? and provide the people with huge amounts of fiat money and â??security,â?? in exchange for the reinstatement of their monarchies. The reinstated European royalty will be headed by a German â??Kaiserâ?? (Caesar) who will have four kings will be appointed under him, they say. The candidate for Kaiser will probably come from either the Habsburg or Hohenzollern royal families, they note. That means Karl Habsburg or the Hohenzollern Georg Friedrich Prince of Prussia. Another candidate they mention is Ferdinand Zvonimir Habsburg-Lothringen. The Tsar of Russia would be most likely Prince Michael of Kent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Michael_of_Kent because he has the most Romanov blood of all the European royals. This fits in with what Russian sources have long told us and that is that Vladimir Putin was put in power by a faction in the KGB that was loyal to the Russian royal family. This move combined with the push by Turkeyâ??s Recep Erdogan to restore the Ottoman Turkish Empire would, if successful, restore the German, Austro-Hungarian and Turkish empires; essentially bringing Europe and the Near-East back to the situation that existed before World War I. So, a hundred year plot to reverse the Anglo-American victory in World War I has now been un-masked. The Brexit vote in this context means the British Royal Family will not have to fall under the rule of the restored monarchies of Europe. The question of course is, will the European people passively agree to be terrorized and financially blackmailed into restoring these bloodlines to formal power? We may well find out this summer and autumn. In the meantime expect a Gladio frenzy of increasingly lurid false flag attacks and well-financed, violent demonstrations. It is also a good bet that German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will lose power later this year. Meanwhile a serious power struggle is also coming to a head in the United States. CIA sources say that â??China has given the secret codes for a large amount of gold (thousands of metric tons)â?¦to be given as a loan to the US Treasury so that the dollar will not implode.â??
Prince Dimitrije "Dimitri" Karađorđević was born on 18 June 1958 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Also known as Dimitri Karageorgevich, or Dimitri Karađorđević, he is the Founder, President and Creative Director of the jewelry firm bearing his name, "Prince Dimitri Company". Prince Dimitri was raised in Versailles, and attended boarding schools in France and Switzerland, before graduating from the University of Paris with a degree in Business Law. He then moved to New York City in 1983. Originally pursuing a career on Wall Street, he decided to move into the field of jewelry. He was offered a position in Sotheby's jewelry department, eventually rising to Senior Vice President. During his 15 years at Sotheby's, he also became an appraiser and studied gemology. In 1999, Prince Dimitri began designing jewelry, with a collection of gemstone cufflinks that was sold at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue. He also designed a line of women's jewelry for Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. In 2002, he moved to the Phillips de Pury & Luxembourg auction house to head their jewelry department. In 2007, he and business partner Todd Morley founded the Prince Dimitri Company. His jewelry has also been sold at auction by Christie's. Prince Dimitri was named to the International Best Dressed List's Hall of Fame in 1994. In 1958, with his brother, Prince Michael of Yugoslavia, they became the first set of twins born to Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia and his first wife, Princess Maria Pia of Savoy, the eldest daughter of Umberto II of Italy. Alexander and Maria Pia had a second set of twins, Prince Sergius and Princess Helene of Yugoslavia in 1963. Prince Dimitri has a younger half-brother, Prince Dushan of Yugoslavia, from his father's second marriage to Princess Barbara of Liechtenstein. Prince Dimitri belongs to the cadet branch of the Royal House of Yugoslavia, descending from Prince Regent Paul of Yugoslavia. He is a third cousin of Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia. His maternal grandmother was Princess Marie José of Belgium, whose father was Albert I, King of the Belgians. His paternal grandmother was Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark (sister of Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent). His paternal great-grandfather was Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark, an avid oil painter and son of George I (1845–1913), King of the Hellenes. His paternal great-great grandfather was the Grand Duke Vladimir of Russia, patron of the avant-garde, who spurred the creation of the Ballets Russes. From here, Prince Dimitri's lineage of creativity can be followed, as can his curiosity and love for fine gems and jewelry. It was his paternal grandmother who related first-hand the magnificence of the jewelry collection of her mother and grandmothers. His great-grandmother Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia had inherited all of the diamonds belonging to her mother, Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia, a collection renowned the world over for its lavish, exquisite breadth. Prince Dimitri is also a first cousin of Emanuele Filiberto, Prince of Venice, the son and heir of the pretender to the throne of Italy, and also first cousin of the actress Catherine Oxenberg. Through Prince Dimitri's parents he is related to every royal family in Europe, making him over 1000th in the line of succession to the British throne. Prince Dimitri is one of the extraordinary guests featured on The One Way Ticket Show. In the podcast, Host Steven Shalowitz explores with his guests where they'd go if given a one way ticket, no coming back! Its mass consists of what was HM Fort Roughs, a former Second World War Maunsell Sea Fort, off the coast of Suffolk, England, United Kingdom.[1][9] While it has been described as the world's smallest country,[10] or the world's smallest nation,[11] Sealand is not recognised by any established sovereign state, although Sealand's government claims it has been de facto recognised by the United Kingdom (after an English court ruled it did not have jurisdiction over Sealand as territorial water limitations were defined at the time)[1] and Germany (see below). Since 1967 the facility has been occupied by family and associates of Paddy Roy Bates, who claim that it is an independent sovereign state.[1] Bates seized it from a group of pirate radio broadcasters in 1967 with the intention of setting up his own station at the site.[12] He attempted to establish Sealand as a nation-state in 1975 with the writing of a national constitution and establishment of other national symbols.[1] Bates moved to mainland Essex when he became elderly, naming his son Michael regent. Bates died in October 2012 at the age of 91.[13] One of the other platforms which guarded a port Sealand PALM ISLAND Beginning in 2001, three man-made islands in the form of palm trees are being constructed off the coast of the Emirate of Dubai. The islands consist of Palm Jumeirah, the smallest island, Jebel Ali, and Palm Deira, the largest island.
