The Matt Kim Podcast: Homeless Machete Giveaway, Trump Endorsements, and Central CastingIn this episode of The Matt Kim Podcast, Matt Kim and his co-host Peter Satton dive into a series of controversial and provocative topics. The discussion begins with the idea that the world is a show and everything, including political figures, is staged — a notion famously declared by Trump. They boast about their track record of being consistently right about various issues. The podcast covers a range of subjects, including an update on Matt's life, observations about American entitlement at resorts, and the behavior at buffets. They then jump into heavier topics, such as the ongoing U.S. involvement in Venezuela, characterized as a regime change mission for oil resources, and criticize the military-industrial complex. They touch on domestic radicalization, false flag events, and whether America is more dangerous than other countries like Mexico. This episode also explores the manipulation of social media platforms by foreign entities, the controversial endorsement by Trump in Miami's mayoral race, and a humorous analysis of Trump Vodka and the potential upcoming Trump Phone. The show wraps up with a talk on homelessness, Japanese internet memes about America's fentanyl crisis, and the idea of arming the homeless with machetes. Enjoy this unpredictable mix of humor, satire, and critical social commentary.Timestamps02:14 Travel Stories and Observations03:03 American Entitlement at Resorts07:41 Cultural Critiques and International Travel11:28 Venezuela Conflict and US Involvement17:08 Radicalization and Domestic Issues24:14 Mass Shootings and Gun Violence in America42:14 Social Media Manipulation and Foreign Influence51:38 Marjorie Taylor Greene's Resignation and Trump's Reaction53:17 Candace Owens and the Conspiracy Theories54:42 The Entertainment Value of Political Figures58:30 Online Gambling and Its Legal Issues01:06:10 Trump's Various Business Ventures01:16:25 The Political Landscape and Trump's Endorsements01:31:10 Homelessness and Controversial Solutions01:36:09 International Perception of America's Drug Crisis====================================Support the show~Join the Free Thinker Army!https://www.patreon.com/c/freemattkim====================================The ONLY VPN that can't spy on you.https://vp.net/mattHang out here~!soj.ooO https://soj.ooo/Join this channel to get access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4rC0QxBD1eRPKMHIIpL0vA/joinDonate!https://www.mattkimpodcast.com/support/FREE THINKER ARMY DISCORD:https://discord.gg/2juHnR6DPzTELEGRAM EDIT ZONE:https://t.me/+IV-skn-OXyw1MTcxFollow Matt!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mattattack009/Twitter: https://twitter.com/FreeMattKimRumble: https://rumble.com/c/FreeMattKimTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@freemattkimFollow Peter on X:Twitter: https://x.com/AgilePeterBusiness Inquiries Please Email mattkimpodcast@protonmail.com

"The more he talks, the more people like Miami." Dan is furious the Dolphins made us do anything other than discuss the Miami Hurricanes with Mike Ryan, and where being excluded from the College Football Playoff would rank in the "all-time bulls***" Miami has faced due to the College Football Industrial Complex's bias against them. Jeremy does his best to buck up against them, but somehow that leads to a -- wait, let me check my notes -- no, yeah, a Kevin Spacey comparison. Learn more about your ad choices. Meridith Baer grew up on the grounds of San Quentin prison, acted in TV and movies, wrote scripts in Hollywood … and then, at 50, started over – and built one of the best known home-staging companies in real estate.Meridith's life unfolds like a movie: As a teenager, she was forced to give up her baby for adoption. In her twenties, she was a writer for Penthouse. In her thirties and forties, she was a screenwriter in Hollywood, hobnobbing with Sally Field and dating Patrick Stewart. But in her late forties, Meridith hit a wall. Her writing career stalled, so she poured her energy into fixing up the house she was renting. When the owner sold that house almost immediately, she stumbled onto a strange new idea: why not stage homes for a living? From there, Meridith turned a few pieces of thrift-store furniture and potted plants into a full-blown business: trucks, warehouses, hundreds of employees, and high-end homes across Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and beyond. Along the way, she weathered the pressures of scaling a creative service into an operational machine—without ever raising outside capital. What you'll learn:How to reshape a career at 50 (or any age) without a master planHow Meridith priced her work based on value created, not hours workedWhy you don't always need investors to grow a multi-million-dollar service businessThe psychology of home staging: designing spaces that make buyers fall in love in the first 10 secondsHow Meridith thinks about legacy, stepping back, and seizing new opportunitiesTimestamps: 06:08 – Growing up as a warden's daughter inside San Quentin11:01 – Teen pregnancy, forced adoption, and reunion decades later12:43 – From Pepsi commercials to Penthouse magazine19:58 – Selling a major movie script, recoiling at the finished product22:47 – How a breakup with Patrick Stewart totally reshaped Meridith's life27:41 – The accidental first staging job at age 5035:17 – Early days of the business: vans, day laborers from Home Depot, and naming her price47:18 – Unexpected struggles: tax trouble, a cancer diagnosis51:07 – The business expands to New York and beyond1:00:22 – Running a 320-person company at 78—and what comes next1:05:56 – Small Business SpotlightThis episode was produced by Alex Cheng, with music by Ramtin Arablouei. Two members of the West Virginia National Guard were shot just a few blocks away from the White House, on Wednesday. One of the two shooting victims, 20-year-old Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, died of her injuries on Thursday. The alleged shooter is a 29-year-old man from Afghanistan who served in a “Zero Unit,” an Afghan military force that helped the US military. He moved to the United States in 2021 as part of a Biden-era program to help Afghan nationals who had assisted US troops. He was living in Washington State with his family before making the cross-country trip to commit the attack, and he'd reportedly been struggling with mental health issues for years. For more on what role, if any, mental health considerations might have in the judicial process and the overall effectiveness of the DOJ under U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, we spoke to Ken White. On this football recap, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan link up with NFL legend and FOX analyst Greg Olsen to break down another loaded week across the league. The boys open with the analytics behind the Bears–Eagles two-point decision and why the numbers sparked debate across NFL circles. They move into Panthers–Rams before taking a full lap around the NFC East and asking the big question: can the Cowboys actually win the division? They also dive into the NFC North race, hit the AFC South battles shaping the playoff picture, and close with Miami’s headline storyline — should the Dolphins stay committed to Mike McDaniel? Plus in our college portion, Taylor breaks down Ohio State’s exorcism of Michigan with Ohio State Head Coach, Ryan Day, the boys recap Lane Kiffin’s bolt from Ole Miss to LSU for $100M, Pate calls Florida’s Jon Sumrall hire a near catastrophic miss if Auburn didn’t land Alex Golesh. The crew then maps out absolute CFP Armageddon—BYU stealing the Big 12 auto-bid, five-loss Duke somehow winning the ACC, Bama beating Georgia and sparking a three-loss runner-up debate that could boot half the SEC while a G5 like Tulane sneaks in. Heisman talk gets spicy (Julian Sayin, Diego Pavia, and Indiana’s zero-pick rocket Fernando Mendoza). With the college football landscape being so chaotic The Boys are here to make sense of it all. FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt breaks down ‘The Game' as #1 Ohio State ended their 4-game losing streak vs Michigan with a convincing win. He considers whether it's Ohio State vs the Field to win it all after how dominant the Buckeyes have looked this season. Klatt also discusses where Michigan goes from here following the loss to their biggest rival. He reveals his latest Top 15 and examines the College Football Playoff bubble. Klatt considers whether teams like Texas and Miami have a case to be in the 12-team field before offering an alternative Playoff model that would guarantee those teams an opportunity to settle it on the field. He then gives his thoughts on Lane Kiffin's decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU right before the College Football Playoff and whether he should have been allowed to coach the Rebels in the CFP. 0:00-3:40 Intro3:41-16:19 Ohio State snaps Michigan's winning streak16:21-31:58 Joel Klatt's new top 1531:59-43:19 Who will make the Playoff bubble?43:20-53:57 Lane Kiffin leaves Ole Miss for LSU job Use my code for 10% off your next SeatGeek order*: https://seatgeek.onelink.me/RrnK/KLATT10 Sponsored by SeatGeek. *Restrictions apply. It feels very fitting that after ten years and speaking to dozens of actors who have played Aaron Burr, the very last one to grace the podcast is Hamilton Broadway's original (inimitable!) Leslie Odom, Jr. We didn't have a long time, but let me tell you... we had a GREAT time. This episode is funny, it's moving, it's layered, it's healing, it's so much of why Leslie Odom, Jr. is such a fascinating person to talk to. He tells me about how his beautiful cover of Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins came to be, his experience with Purlie Victorious, how much he loved pushing the nerd bar to a ten with Owen Tillerman in Central Park, and how playing the legendary Sam Cooke in One Night in Miami... meant the world to him. Aaron Burr is surrounded by ghosts and Leslie Odom, Jr. is no different because when it comes to his monumental return to Hamilton ten years after his Tony Award winning run originating Aaron Burr, the ghosts are everywhere: from his fellow original cast members to his younger self (omg wait until you get to that part, you're going to lose your mind). Coming back to Hamilton after a decade was his idea and Leslie is bringing ten years of therapy, regret, loss, grief, joy and everything in between to the stage of the Rodgers. Luckily for all of us, Hamilton is a show that can handle whatever he's bringing to the room that day. And even though he's playing Burr with more frustration this time around, he promises - promises! - that every single night he's trying his very best not to kill Alexander at the end of this thing. From his favorite Burr line to the importance of listening to your soul and why he promises to never, ever waste our time, Leslie Odom, Jr., lays it all out on the table. Day 1,376.Today, after a fresh round of talks between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Miami, we examine a new investigation exposing the Trump administration's profit motives behind the emerging proposals. We then assess the resignation of Andriy Yermak, formerly Zelensky's right-hand man, and the unexpected intervention of former Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi – viewed as preparing for a presidential run after the war. Afterwards, we analyse Kyiv's decision to strike the Russian shadow fleet off the coast of Senegal, and how Europe – and France in particular – is positioning itself for this next, volatile phase.ContributorsAdélie Pojzman-Pontay (Journalist and Producer). @adeliepjz on X.Francis Dearnley (Executive Editor for Audio). @FrancisDearnley on X.Dominic Nicholls (Associate Editor of Defence). @DomNicholls on X.Joe Barnes (Brussels Correspondent). @Barnes_Joe on X.SIGN UP TO THE ‘UKRAINE: THE LATEST' WEEKLY NEWSLETTER:http://telegraph.co.uk/ukrainenewsletter Each week, Dom Nicholls and Francis Dearnley answer your questions, provide recommended reading, and give exclusive analysis and behind-the-scenes insights – plus maps of the frontlines and diagrams of weapons to complement our daily reporting. This case isn't just tragic — it's claustrophobic. A cabin. A blended family. A teenager found hidden under a bed. And every adult involved spiraling in a different direction while the FBI tries to reconstruct what happened in those critical early moments. Tonight on Hidden Killers, retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke joins me to break down one of the most complex psychological environments we've seen in a long time: the death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner on board a cruise ship returning to Miami. We start with the concealment. Not found in a hallway. Not found collapsed. Hidden. Wrapped. Placed under a bed. Robin explains what concealment commonly signals in juveniles and why — contrary to popular belief — it doesn't automatically equate to malicious intent. Panic can look like guilt. Shock can look like deception. Fear can fuel catastrophic decisions. Then there's the 16-year-old stepsibling — the one now labeled a suspect — and his reported claim that he “doesn't remember what happened” and was an “emotional wreck.” Robin walks us through the behavioral possibilities behind that statement: trauma, dissociation, avoidance, overwhelm, or genuine blackout under stress. Next, we dismantle the family chaos that erupted online: the biological mother melting down on TikTok, the grandmother calling it murder, the father staying silent, relatives sniping at each other publicly. Robin explains how investigators sift through emotional noise, identify authentic behavior patterns, and avoid being pulled into the whirlpool of family dysfunction. Finally, we look at what matters next: timeline consistency, nonverbal cues from the juvenile, whether stories shift, and what the autopsy reveals about intent, panic, or something in between. This is a conversation about behavior, not blame — and it may be the clearest breakdown of this case you'll hear anywhere. #HiddenKillers #AnnaKepner #TrueCrimeAnalysis #RobinDreeke #BehavioralScience #FBIProfiler #CruiseCase #FamilyDynamics #CrimeInvestigation #JuvenileBehavior Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In hour two, the Lane Kiffin chaos is allowed by NCAA's lawlessness. Stock up and stock down for the Miami Dolphins after their win. Is Mike Tomlin done in Pittsburgh? Plus, Miami bias could be keeping the Canes out of the CFP.
Recapping the Dolphins victory and pointing out two very obvious things: Tua is not the same player he once was and the true face of the Dolphins is De'Von Achane.
Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
In this episode of Rattling the Bars, host Mansa Musa speaks with Miami-based organizer Katherine Passley about how prison labor, temp agencies, and the 13th Amendment have created a system that traps formerly incarcerated people in unending cycles of cheap, hyper-exploited work. Passley, Co-Executive Director of Beyond the Bars, also talks with Musa about how her organization is fighting to win free jail phone calls, erase millions of dollars in fines and fees for systems-impacted people, and build powerful bridges between the prison abolition movement and the labor movement in Florida.Guest:Katherine Passley is Co-Executive Director of Beyond the Bars, a worker center in South Florida building the social and economic power of workers with criminal records and their families. Joe shares his theory on Tua Tagovailoa, explaining how injuries and a hit to his confidence have derailed his play this season. The Dolphins grind out an ugly 21–17 win over the Saints, with De'Von Achane leading the way on the ground. The Hurricanes dominate Pitt, raising the question: are the Canes playoff bound? Miami Head Coach Mario Cristobal joins to make his case, praises freshman Malachi Toney, and breaks down how the Canes compare to Notre Dame. We also discuss the “eyeball test,” the committee's role, and whether college football should consider a computer-based model — all through the lens of Miami's playoff push.
The Dolphins escape another win, but Tua Tagovailoa struggles under center as we break down his slip-ups, McDaniel's gameplan adjustments, and whether rainy conditions played a role. Lane Kiffin shocks the college football world by leaving Ole Miss for LSU, and we explore why he made the move and whether he truly deserves his reputation. Plus, our NFL Whiparound hits the biggest weekend action — from the Panthers upsetting the Rams to the AFC playoff races heating up — with a look at what Tua's performance means for Miami moving forward.
Omar Kelly joins to break down Tua Tagovailoa's struggles, critiquing his decline, lack of athleticism, and how even a strong performance from Chop Robinson can't erase a quiet season. Joe and Hollywood discuss Miami's College Football Playoff chances, highlighting the frustrating reality that the Canes' head-to-head win over Notre Dame may not be enough to get them in. The conversation also examines the flaws of the committee-based system and how brand name programs influence selections. Plus, we break down the surprising Lane Kiffin move from Ole Miss to LSU and what went into his decision
Joe shares his theory on Tua Tagovailoa, explaining how injuries and a loss of confidence have derailed his season, even as one of the few Dolphins essentially guaranteed to return next year. The discussion dives into how these struggles impact Miami's outlook moving forward. We also shift to the Hurricanes' playoff chances, highlighting Malachi Toney's breakout season and his case as one of the best freshmen in the country.
Miami Head Coach Mario Cristobal joins the show to make the Hurricanes' case for a College Football Playoff spot. He highlights the impact of standout freshman receiver Malachi Toney, discusses the ACC Championship matchup with Duke and Virginia, and breaks down how Miami stacks up head-to-head with Notre Dame. Cristobal also shares his thoughts on the “eyeball test” and how it factors into today's playoff conversations.
Joe and Hollywood dive into Miami's College Football Playoff chances, focusing on a frustrating reality: despite Miami's head-to-head win over Notre Dame, the Canes may still be left out. They discuss the flaws of a system where a small committee decides who gets in and how brand name programs and ticket sales often outweigh actual on-field results. The conversation centers on why head-to-head victories don't carry the weight they should in playoff selection.
Are the Miami Hurricanes playoff bound? We take a close look at how Miami's résumé compares to Notre Dame's and whether the Canes have a legitimate path into the College Football Playoff. The discussion shifts to the flaws in the current system — questioning how a small committee can watch enough games to fairly evaluate every team. We also dive into whether college football should consider returning to a computer-driven model to make these decisions.
We hit all the biggest NFL action in our Whiparound, including the Panthers upsetting the Rams, Seahawks shutting out the Vikings, Bills topping the Steelers, and Chargers edging the Raiders. With the AFC wide open and no clear frontrunner, we break down the playoff races in both conferences. Plus, a look at Tua's struggles and what they mean for Miami moving forward.
