In this episode, Tony sits down with Brian Jeffery from the Black Mass Paranormal YouTube channel, to discuss disturbing activity emerging from Appalachia, including feral people, unexplained disappearances, and strange encounters deep in the mountains of the Southeast. Brian shares new research into reports of a clicking sound he believes functions as biological sonar, allowing these beings to navigate caves and forests without relying on sight. They explore how cave systems, Native American lore, and missing persons cases may be connected, and why some phenomena appear physical rather than purely supernatural. They also touch on Dogman sightings near military bases, the possibility of engineered entities, and the personal cost of investigating these subjects. This episode challenges conventional explanations and forces a reexamination of what may be living beneath the mountains and moving just out of view. Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer. “When did the practice of Eucharistic adoration start?” This question opens a discussion on the historical roots of this cherished devotion, alongside inquiries about the nature of the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, the nuances of language in John 6 regarding the act of eating, and the significance of the Eucharist as a sacrifice. Join the Catholic Answers Live Club Newsletter Invite our apologists to speak at your parish! Visit Catholicanswersspeakers.com Questions Covered: 03:34 – When did the practice of Eucharistic adoration start? 13:35 – Is the Eucharist given on Holy Thursday the same as what we have at Mass now? Because on Holy Thursday he had not yet died and risen, so how could it be the same? 17:23 – If John 6 uses two different words for eat, on of which indicates chewing or gnawing, why don't we see that in the English translations? 29:23 – The English word “this” in the words of institution seems vague to me. Why isn't there a more specific word? Shouldn't the words indicate exactly what “this” is? 36:29 – Can you explain the importance of the Eucharist as a sacrifice? 45:40 – Wouldn't Jesus' body have to be omnipresent to be able to be really present at Masses all around the world? I read this question in the book “Reasoning from the Scriptures with Catholics” and am wondering how to answer. 51:48 – Why do some parishes not distribute the blood of Jesus at Communion?

Jase, Al, and Zach condemn a Minnesota church protest as “pure chaos” while expressing sympathy for the pastor forced to restore order as kids cried and the service unraveled. The conversation widens to how protest culture, immigration clashes, and nonstop crisis headlines are driving national anxiety and division. As “storm of the century” headlines fuel panic across the South, the guys cut through the hype with chainsaws and confidence. Zach points out how Jesus isn't confined to one side of the political aisle, his love is open to socialists, MAGA, and everyone in between. Jesus gives us the most radical ethic of love that's ever been put forth: “Turn the other cheek.” This ethic has been criticized and disregarded, but no one ever says the reason is because it's too low or vile or unworthy. They always say it's too high, too lofty. The reason it seems so lofty is it's a whole new dimension. The love ethic in Matthew 5 is part of a package. The package is that Christianity itself is actually an interconnected set of radically altered relationships. A new relationship with God creates a new relationship with yourself, creates a new relationship with others. They can't be separated. They rise and fall together, and you can't have one without the others. Let's take a look at those three aspects. As we move through this passage, we'll see 1) the understanding of the self, 2) the relationship with others, and 3) the root of it all: a new relationship with God. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on December 3, 1989. Series: Ten Commandments 1989. Scripture: Matthew 5:21-24; 38-48. Last week's Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Kentanji Brown Jackson proved that the GOP are a bunch of racist goons. But if that wasn't enough, the Washington Post revealed texts from Ginni Thomas, (wife of Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas), sent to Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows that were nothing short of insane; invoking Jesus Christ himself to overturn the election and threatening that “the Biden Crime Family would be sent to barges off Gitmo.” Later Rick Wilson joins to diagnose the sickness at the heart of the MAGA era GOP.

Friends for this Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, our first reading from the prophet Isaiah and our Gospel from Matthew both have a section that's a little weird. While most preachers skip over these sections to get to the better-known and understandable parts, I want to dwell, on purpose, on the strange parts—and they have to do with the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali.

It's Witness Wednesday! Join Todd Friel on campus at Georgia Tech as he engages students in conversations about faith, where we come from, and the creation of the universe. Through several conversations, listen along as the truth of God's word is brought to bear on the worldview of several real-life students. Segment 1 • Todd Friel stops an architecture student and uses a building's design to argue for a Creator. • The student insists the universe isn't really “organized,” pushing Todd to press the bigger question: How much evidence is enough? • The conversation turns into a blunt reality check about what people ignore every day, even when it's right in front of their nose. Segment 2 • Todd talks with a biomedical engineering student who says that some “impossible” events are totally plausible. • The student claims morality is subjective and shrugs off guilt—until Todd uses the Ten Commandments to test the “good person” claim. • The exchange ends with the student frankly admitting he doesn't care about judgment. Segment 3 • Todd meets Junior from Jamaica, who calls himself a Christian… but can't explain the gospel clearly. • Todd walks Junior through God's law, exposing how “good person” confidence collapses under honest self-examination. • Junior admits he's still “searching,” and Todd urges him not to confuse religious familiarity with true saving faith. Segment 4 • Todd speaks with Dan, a Catholic civil engineering student, and presses the logic of salvation-by-good-works until it breaks. • The courtroom analogy lands hard: being “sorry” or doing “extra good” doesn't erase real guilt, or satisfy justice. • Todd lays out the “great exchange” and calls listeners to stop striving, repent, and trust Christ alone before it's too late. ___ Thanks for listening! “How is Jesus present in the Eucharist?” This question opens a discussion on the nature of Christ’s presence in the sacrament, addressing concerns about cannibalism and the essence of communion. Other topics include the implications for Anglicans considering Catholicism and the differing beliefs about the Eucharist among Protestants. Join the Catholic Answers Live Club Newsletter Invite our apologists to speak at your parish! Visit Catholicanswersspeakers.com Questions Covered: 03:24 – How is Jesus present in the eucharist? 15:37 – How is the Eucharist not cannibalism? I find that typically the answer is: it's not cannibalism because it's not destructive. My problem with that is destructiveness is not inherent in the definition of cannibalism. Cannibalism is eating another person, which is what we are doing. Did we just invent another definition for cannibalism so that we can say we aren't doing it? 29:59 – I grew up Anglican and am looking into Catholicism. I go to Anglican service with my Grandma. If I believe in the Catholic view of the Eucharist, but I'm not Catholic, should I stop receiving communion in the Anglican church? I'm worried how my grandma would react to that. 35:24 – Do Protestants who believe in some kind of eucharistic presence not really have the Real Presence because they don't have the Catholic sacramental priesthood? 45:20 – How is it that the Eucharist is really Jesus when most Protestants believe it's just a symbol? 49:16 – If Christ wanted to ensure belief in the Eucharist he chose an almost maximally ambiguous form, why do you think God allowed that ambiguity instead of clarity?

As we dive into a new chapter today, we learn about how we are called to respond to God's Revelation. In particular, we discover that Mary and Abraham are models of faith who show us how to be obedient by submitting our intellect and will to God. Fr. Mike assures us that even though God doesn't usually give us the whole picture of our lives, he gives us just enough light to take the next step in faith. In this in-depth theological conversation, Tony sits down with Ed Mabrie to challenge common assumptions about spiritual warfare and end-times prophecy. Ed explains why the fallen Elohim are not unified under Satan, but operate as rival powers competing for control, driven by addiction to worship and the desire to overturn God's plan. The discussion moves through Babel, Psalm 82, the Nephilim, and Revelation, reframing war and global chaos as the result of supernatural conflict rather than human ambition alone. Ed also outlines why deception is Satan's primary weapon, not raw power, and why the Church acts as the restrainer holding back the Antichrist. Throughout the conversation, we are reminded that believers carry real authority in Christ, authority that is rarely taught and often unused. This is a dense but grounding conversation meant to sharpen discernment and reset how Christians view the unseen battle shaping history. Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer. We talk about grace a lot — but do we actually understand it? For many of us, grace feels like the doorway into faith … yet something we quietly try to “maintain” through our own effort. What if God never intended you to earn what He freely gives? In today's episode, writer and Bible teacher Kristel Acevedo joins Meredith Brock and Kaley Olson for a deeply clarifying conversation about the kind of grace Scripture describes — the grace that saves us and keeps us. Through biblical teaching, real-life stories, and practical wisdom, Kristel helps us see why striving leaves us exhausted, how sanctification actually works, and why resting in God's unshakable love is the starting place for real spiritual transformation. If you're tired of trying to be “good enough,” wrestling with shame, or wondering whether you've used up all of God's patience, this episode will breathe fresh hope into your heart. Grace isn't a one-time gift. It's the ongoing work of God in you — today, tomorrow, and every day after. You'll learn:What Scripture means when it says we are saved by grace — and why that same grace is what transforms us daily. The difference between working for God's acceptance and living from your secure identity in Christ. How sanctification really happens, and why slowing down helps us recognize the Holy Spirit's work in us.Why sharing grace with others matters, and how God can use your life to draw people to Himself.Resources From This Episode:When life feels uncertain, God's promises are not. He served a mission in San Diego, CA and was later married in the Newport beach temple. While studying at Harvard and Yale Divinity Schools, Jean began to see the value in many Christian traditions and ultimately let go of the idea of “one true church.” He shares how this shift led him toward a more open, hopeful approach to Christianity grounded in community. Today, Jean serves as the National Pastor of Canada for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This is a thoughtful conversation about faith after Mormonism and building a meaningful spiritual community with progressive beliefs. Please purchase the book here.To support this series please donate here. Today I spoke on religious liberty after the Minnesota church disruption, then welcomed Dr. Hormuz Shariat of Iran Alive Ministries. Dr. Shariat explains why he believes Islam is collapsing inside Iran, why the underground church is exploding, and how dreams, broadcasts, and suffering are opening hearts to Jesus.TODAY'S SPONSORS: BlockTrust IRA: https://metaxascrypto.com Help Save Lives in Israel TODAY: https://savinglifeisrael.org Legal Help Center - Get Free Legal Help Today: https://legalhelpcenter.com MyPillow — Save BIG with code ERIC: https://mypillow.com ten Boom Coffee— Save 10% with code ERIC: https://tenboom.coffee
Segment 1 • Which clip is more cloying? • A progressive clergy stunt as woke pastors storm the lobby of Target HQ. • Tony Robbins gives worldly wisdom to a suicidal man and turns it into a joke about his shoes. Segment 2 • Jesse Duplantis and his prosperity preaching is almost totally unmatched in terms of blasphemy. • Prosperity preaches point you towards getting more stuff while scripture points you towards getting more of someone - Jesus. • The inheritance we have waiting for us after this life makes earthly wealth look like nothing. Segment 3 • The recent scandal from Phillip Yancey begs the question: why are so many older saints failing to finish well? • The church cannot afford to adopt the world's definition of love, but must see it as God's word does. • A good finish to the Christian life takes time and training… but it can leave an incredible impact. Segment 4 • That image of someone collapsing right before the finish line of a race? That could happen to anyone. • We need to be close to people in the church so that they can tap us on the shoulder when we're faltering. • Don't get tired, don't give in to pain - run the race well. ___ Thanks for listening! It is not logical to forgive someone who has offended us, but it is supernatural — it can only come from walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. Yet, forgiveness and humility was constantly on the heart of Jesus.
What happens when you're trying to follow Jesus, but the world keeps redefining what's “true”and you're not even sure what to trust anymore? In this episode, Candace sits down with Madi Prewett Troutt for a conversation about truth that doesn't shift, freedom that doesn't fade, and why Jesus isn't just a good teacher. Candace and Madi unpack how culture sells “your truth” as freedom, but often delivers confusion and bondage instead. They talk about discernment in a time when deception feels everywhere (even online), and they bring it back to Scripture: when you find Jesus, you find truth, and when you find truth, you find freedom. They also answer two powerful listener questions: one from a mom navigating a middle- schooler who doesn't want church anymore, and one from a Christian college student who feels like she's not “Christian enough.” With honesty and grace, Candace and Madi remind listeners that salvation is a gift, not something earned, and that truth is found in Jesus. Phones have become powerful shapers of attention, habits, and spiritual health in everyday life. Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar explore how digital tools, while not inherently evil, can easily drift into addiction and function as substitutes for stillness, prayer, and dependence on God. They discuss how social media is intentionally designed to capture attention, rewire desires, and normalize sin through constant stimulation, comparison, and distance. The guys also examine the relational and emotional costs, including loneliness, anxiety, and the loss of meaningful face-to-face interaction. Throughout the conversation, they offer practical steps for reclaiming attention, setting boundaries, and modeling healthy habits at home. Ultimately, the call is to fight distraction with intentionality, examine the heart honestly, and choose to let Christ shape daily rhythms rather than a screen.Send us a textThanks for listening! If they divorce, what does that mean spiritually for those individuals? 49:23 – If Mary could have been immaculately conceived then why could Jesus not be affected by Mary's original sin? Why was it necessary for Mary to be immaculately conceived?

In today's episode, I open up about the lessons, regrets, and mistakes I made in my 20s. From being lukewarm in my faith, losing my virginity, wasting money, chasing the wrong guys, desperate to be liked, and going ALL IN with Jesus. It's easy to see where I got off course now that I'm in my 30's but I WISH I knew some of the things I know now, back then. I pray this episode feels like a big sister chat and gives you some encouragement wherever you're at. God has taught me so much, and even though I made mistakes, His grace and redemption are so real.
