34 Circe Salon -- Make Matriarchy Great Again -- Disrupting History
Join us for a wonderful, foundational episode: we're making matriarchy great again! Laura Hirch is a filmmaker, writer, artist and a scholar of matriarchal studies. Her six-part documentary, From The Goddess, explores the concept of the Great Goddess and how matriarchal societies, centered around Goddess worship, thrived in peaceful coexistence for millennia until the emergence of Patriarchy 6,000 years ago. We discuss her series and other aspects of matriarchal herstory along with our own matriarchal scholar and inspiration, Vicki Noble. This podcast was recorded in January 2025 for the Super Conductors of Love free summit facilitated by Martha Alter Hines and Cayelin Castell. To join in the closing ceremony March 30th, use this link: https://www.livingtheonelight.com/sup... This podcast incorporates the Venus journey at the end of March 2025 and her conjunction with Neptune (the higher octave of Venus) and the Mars opposition with Pluto (the higher octave of Mars). I speculate in this video about how Ereshkigal, in the myth of Inanna, may be represented by the asteroid Persephone and, in my later, more recent video published in March 2025, by the asteroid Ceres. Let me know your thoughts on this! All of these points represent aspects of this split between Inanna and Ereshkigal and the division of the Great Goddess archetype. Build Your House: Episode 32 - Temple of the great goddess Diana
Imagine healing from surgery in a miraculous way…or seeing a vision of the Black Madonna over your bed and hearing instructions for your life's purpose... These might seem like far-fetched stories to you and me, but for today's guest, this is the story of her life. Last week I shared her book, Healing Journeys with the Black Madonna. This week I am thrilled to introduce you to the author of that landmark book, the one and only Alessandra Belloni! Let me tell you a bit about her: Alessandra Belloni is an internationally acclaimed award-winning singer, percussionist, author & teacher, artistic director of the Italian Folk Music Dance Theater Company I Giullari di Piazza, and artist in Residence at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City. For the last 20 years she has been leading special workshops, tours and pilgrimages in the South of Italy and in Sicily teaching drumming and ritual dance and taking people from around the world to the sacred sites of the Black Madonna. She discovered that the ancient practice of ritual drumming can help women heal both physical and emotional issues. In this episode, she will share her miraculous journey of discovering the Black Madonna and the path of the Great Goddess, including her own miraculous physical healing! Alessandra shares amazing stories of healing, as well as the origin of the Black Madonna and how connecting with Her connects us to everything. I hope this interview inspires you as much as it inspired me! Ps- if you want the link to her book, click here for the show notes. And to listen to it in her own voice, click here for a FREE 30 Day Trial to Audible.com! Key Learnings: The Black Madonnas pre-date Christianity. They are based on the original mother image from Africa, the Great Cosmic Mother, the darkness from which all life emerges. Alessandra, though born in Italy, came to live in the United States as a teenager. She had a powerful connection with the Divine Mother since she was a child, she shares with us her miraculous encounters with the Black Madonna and how she learned how to help women heal. The Black Madonnas want to be seen. Go on pilgrimage to visit them, and see them with your own eyes, this is the path. Many people make annual pilgrimages to Italy and other places where the Black Madonnas reside as part of the spiritual path. “The Black Madonna represents the Great Cosmic Mother and the darkness from which all life emerges.” Alessandra Belloni To find out more about her work, visit https://alessandrabelloni.com/ You can also find her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/AlessandraBelloniArts On IG: https://www.instagram.com/belloni.alessandra/ I recommend listening to her book! A woman's spiritual path is a healing path. Having an image of the Divine that looks like you, sounds like you, lived like you…and IS you, is the heart of this healing path. There is no better book that I can recommend to support your healing journey than Alessandra Belloni's miraculous book, Healing Journeys with the Black Madonna. She takes us on her own miraculous journey of discovering the Black Madonna and the path of the Great Goddess, and how she discovered an ancient way to help women heal both physical and emotional issues. In this episode, I share the chapter that Divine Mother asked me to read to you! It is about the Black Madonna of Tindari, a very powerful and healing form of the Black Madonna. I am so excited to share that next week my special guest will be the author, Alessandra Belloni! Ps- if you want the link to the book, click here for the show notes. And click here for a FREE 30 Day Trial to Audible.com! Key Learnings: 1. The Black Madonnas are statues and icons that are believed to originate in Africa and have traveled north to areas of Europe. There are seven of them in southern Italy that are referred to as the Seven Sisters. 2. Alessandra, though born in Italy, came to live in the United States as a teenager. She had a powerful connection with the Divine Mother since she was a child, but in this book, she shares with us her miraculous encounters with the Black Madonna and how she learned how to help women heal. 3. The chapter I read, chapter 7, is about the Black Madonna of Tindari, Sicily. It takes us through her first encounter with this Madonna, including experiencing the magic of the earth in this magical area. Miracles are in every chapter of this book, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the ancient path of the Goddess! “The Black Madonna is the female embodiment of God because God is a woman, and She is black. She embraces everyone with Her unconditional love as Universal Mother.” Alessandra Belloni I recommend listening to this book! The Parashakthi Temple in Pontiac, Michigan serves as a site of worship for the Hindu goddess Karumariamman, whose origins are in South India. In her American home Karumariamman has assumed the status of Great Goddess, a tantric deity and wonder worker who communicates directly with devotees through dreams, visions, and miracles. Drawing on fifteen years of field work, Tracy Pintchman reveals how the Parashakthi Temple has become a site of theological and ritual innovation. A unique spiritual community, the temple does not simply reproduce Indian goddess traditions, but instead reimagines Hinduism and the Hindu Goddess in the American religious, cultural, and natural landscape. The congregation's faith is grounded in a vision of the Goddess as a breaker of boundaries, including those of race, ethnicity, religion, geography, history, and nationality. Like her congregants, Pintchman suggests, the goddess is emblematic of the qualities of a new immigrant; she embraces the opportunities her new home affords her and refashions herself, but she does not forget her roots, keeping one foot planted in her Indian homeland and another planted firmly in her new land, the United States. In Goddess Beyond Boundaries: Worshipping the Eternal Mother at a North American Hindu Temple (Oxford UP, 2023), Pintchman considers larger issues concerning the creativity of immigrant Hindu communities and the ways in which diaspora contexts facilitate the production of new forms of Hinduism that are made possible by globalization and modern technology. Laura Hirch is an independent conscious filmmaker, journalist and artist. Her works center women, healing, spirituality, mysticism and art. She calls herself a spiritual feminist and an eco feminist, and both of these paths define her creative work. She has studied journalism in Munich, where she was born and raised, and documentary filmmaking in Los Angeles. Laura is the creator of the independently produced 6-part docuseries FROM THE GODDESS which investigates the central role of the Great Goddess in early history and modern times and explores the concept of Her in many different aspects - from archaeology to social science, art and thealogy. Its aim is to show women that we have played an important role in earlier societies, having been not only worshipped as the creatrix of life but also the bearer of community and a source of sacredness. The emergence of patriarchy 6000 years ago not only changed the role of women in society but also severed the connection to nature. Through the matriarchal worldview, which is still upheld by indigenous peoples today, we can learn to become better guardians of our Mother Earth once again. Do you feel cut off from your pleasure?I get it!Most women do.And it makes sense. Why do so many women feel numb and cut off from their sensual pleasure? So many reasons...The broad stroke is that we live in a pleasure-negative world that pretty much demands a disconnect from our sensuality and the creative life force power of our sexual energy. It hasn't felt safe for most of us to inhabit our sensual selves. If that's been your experience I want you to know that it's not your fault. And I also want you to know that you have the power to change that. And you can start in the simplest of ways.Sensual pleasure is the portal into you embodying the Goddess you were born to be.To feel fully alive and embodied in your unique sacred feminine essence, you need to awaken your Yoni.Yoni is the Sanskrit/Yoga word that means origin, source, Shakti aka Great Goddess. It's also a term that means womb, vagina, vulva. Basically it's a word that represents the whole of a woman's sacred pleasure system. When you awaken your Yoni, you awaken your unique expression of the Sacred Feminine. In this episode I want to introduce you to a simple meditation that just might change your life. Seriously. And it's only about 7 minutes long. Are you willing to devote 7 minutes a day to reclaiming your pleasure? Then this episode is for you!Access The Radiant Yoni Meditation Here:https://shakticore.com/radiant-yoni-joinJoin the Waitlist for The Vital Goddess Mastermind:https://shakticore.com/vital-goddess-mastermindCheck out my new free masterclass Making Love to Crystals:https://shakticore.com/making-love-to-crystals-join
Barbie is back in the news again. The Oscars race is on and the film was nominated for numerous awards including Best Picture. Ryan Gosling received the nod for Best Actor, while Margot Robbie & Greta Gerwig were passed over. Ironic snub, given the context of the film? Or just how it goes sometimes? Now before you roll your eyes and wonder ‘who cares?' I've decided to do some of the mythic heavy lifting around why Barbie is a culturally significant film at this moment. And not just because it crossed a billion dollars at the box office and became a clear phenomenon. Last summer, colleague Alex Beiner wrote eloquently of the cultural complexities in his essay Castrated Utopias: What Barbie and Oppenheimer reveal about our sexual politics. He writes: Barbie is one of the most interesting films to come out of Hollywood in some time. It's a strange phenomenon; a feminist initiation myth that critiques, sometimes with joyful nuance, capitalism and patriarchy, but which is paradoxically designed to sell a corporation's product. Instead of a film we might read an ideology into, it's a film woven around an existing ideology: feminism. However, the vision of the feminism it champions is what makes it particularly interesting. It's fun, well structured and at times leans toward a kind of metamodern feminism that seems able to hold the complexity of both social construction and biological difference. At other times, it slipped into a more simplistic feminism, and I found myself shaking my head at its narrow depictions of men and masculinity. […] I had a strong feeling that the film wasn't really made for me as a man. It wasn't trying to actively exclude me, but it was speaking to lived experiences of women, so I tried to listen to the message on its own terms.I've finally decided to hoist my take into the ring, and I invited UK based writer, psychotherapist, and mythologist Carly Mountain to join me. I was previously on her podcast to speak about the descent of Inanna, and so it felt perfect to bring her on to explore Barbie through this lens.As well we touch on the arc of Ken and the advent of Patriarchy as borne from the rejection of the Feminine. Ken needs to go on his own quest to re-source the Feminine from within and meet the Great Goddess. (This is much of the recent men's work that I'm collaborating with Deus Fortier on. Our next Awakening the Wild Erotic weekend is coming up in April). I hope you enjoy our conversation. Also stick around at the end of the episode for a little easter egg…P.S. you're invited to check out Carly's book “Descent & Rising: Women's Stories & the Embodiment of the Inanna Myth”.P.P.S Here's a few music videos from Barbie. I've love to hear your comments on our conversation below. What's your take on Barbie? Get full access to The Mythic Masculine at themythicmasculine.substack.com/subscribe
Filmmaker, journalist and artist, Laura Hirch released the multi-part docu-series titled From the Goddess late last year. We'll discuss with Laura how she talks about central themes of women, healing, spirituality, mysticism and art as they relate to the Great Goddess in early history and modern times. Hirch shows how women have played an important role in earlier societies, how they've been worshiped as the creatrix of life and the bearer of community and a source of sacredness. Laura gets into patriarchy's rise and the part is played in the destruction in goddess spirituality and the status of women. A rich look at what once was and ideas about what might serve humanity in the future.
I originally started this Substack as a clear way to share my weekly dharma talks. Every Monday at 6P PT / 9P ET I host an online Zen gathering through the Zen Community of Oregon where I am one of the teachers. The gathering begins with two twenty minute periods of meditation, followed by a Dharma Talk.Dharma Talks are ways of connecting to the voice of the ancestors, the path of awakening that has been opened up and walked by real human beings over the course of millennia. Because our habitual minds tend towards confusion and distraction, we often need regular reminders about the path of practice. In the Zen Buddhist tradition these reminders point us to Buddhahood. To our intrinsic Buddha nature, that is spacious, free, compassionate and infinitely creative. This talk is the beginning of a series of talks on the Ten OX-Herding or Cow-Herding pictures. My teacher Chozen, Roshi would often remark that Zen practice is a practice without handrails. For how does one begin to measure or mark the infinite. And yet, there are states of mind we taste in our practice, and as we continue these states become more and more familiar and accessible. This talk is an introduction to the Ten OX-Herding pictures as well as an introduction to how I will be exploring this teaching. One invitation that is alive in the Zen school and in my personal teaching is that the metaphors that we use to describe Mind's nature, can be entered directly. So here, in this teaching we are invited to meet the OX or the Cow. This is a symbol or metaphor of our true nature, our natural divinity.Awakening the OX perhaps is a journey to the pre-Buddhist Minoan culture on the island of Crete, where humans performed rituals dressing as bulls to summon the Great Goddess who could give life or take it away. But as always, more intimately awakening the OX is a journey of Self discovery. A revelation of what has always been here. Of course, as with any good teaching tool, the OX itself will be forgotten, as the functioning of Awakening lives on through us.There are many great resources to view the Ten Ox-herding Pictures, the prose and commentary. Here are two that I share during this talk:DT SuzukiJohn Daido Loori, RoshiThank you for reading / listening.I am getting over the flu, so you may notice that my voice is nasally and fatigued.Earth Dreams is a reader-supported publication. In this episode we read the surviving fragments of the philosophy of Empedocles and explore the shamanistic and mystical foundations of Western thought. Empedocles carries on the Orphic and Pythagorean tradition in his quest for Ultimate Reality, for which Aristotle grants him the title of 'Natural Philosopher'. But a strange kind of natural philosopher indeed! He speaks of the union of opposites, of the thing that is paradoxically One and Many; he understands it to be eternal and uncreated; the source of the cosmos, the gods and men. And where did this information come from? From logic, rationality, deduction? Not a bit. It came directly from the divine, from the Great Goddess herself. Enjoy ;)
There is a great Cosmic shift happening right now all over our planet. The Great Goddess spirit of the Earth and multi-dimensional realms are shifting ebbing and flowing. This series of movements are like a cosmic dance and an energetic upgrade even for our physical bodies. Depending on if we have done the scheduled past trauma and subconscious healing will determine how this shift is experienced. Some of us still live in the mindset of guilt, shame, codependency, self insecurities towards ourselves and those around us. These stagnated energetic frequencies will cause the ascension. To feel like a death happening internally. Those that truly have done their part in the personal Ascension process will experience a totally different world. Multiple shifts will happen simultaneously within a shorter period of time. This will be an effortlessly pattern that while healing you can experience pure Bliss. Those that learn to allow natural flow in their daily lives without force or control will experience a new way of living. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/universolwisdom/support

These chapters depict Devi in Her form of Mahasaraswati. She is portrayed as arising from the cells or koshas of Devi Saraswati and hence she is named as Devi Kaushiki. Goddess Kali may be understood to represent the aspect of the darker, chthonic and transformative qualities of Devi's power or Shakti. Kali's emergence is chronicled in the third story of the Devi Mahatmya. Mother Kali, in the form of Chamunda, emerges from Devi's eyebrows as a burst of psychic energy. Mother Kali overpowers and beheads Chanda and Munda, and when She delivers their severed heads to Devi, She is dubbed Chamunda. During a fierce battle in which the Great Goddess demonstrates Her omnipotence by defeating powerful demons who terrify the devas, She encounters the fierce Raktabija (chapter 8). Every drop of blood Raktabija sheds transforms into another demon as it touches the earth. A unique strategy has to be devised to vanquish him. A fiery burst of energy emerging from Devi's third eye takes the dark skeletal form of Goddess Kali. Her huge mouth and enormous tongue She ferociously laps up Raktabija's blood, thus preventing the uprising of further demons.
Devi Mahatmyam or Devi Saptashati is a powerful scripture dedicated to Goddess Shakti. It is an auspicious practice observed during the Dasara celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam. Bhagawan had personally blessed and encouraged many of His students to participate in the same. The FIRST CHAPTER of the Devi Mahatmya depicts Devi in Her form as Mahakali. Here Devi is central and key to the creation. She is the power that induces Lord Narayana's deep slumber on the waters of the cosmic ocean prior to the manifestation of the Universe which is a continuous cycle of manifestation, destruction, and re-manifestation. Lord Vishnu manifests from the all-pervading Lord Narayana as 'Narayana' and goes into a deep slumber on Adi Sesha. Two demons, Madhu-Kaitabh, arise as thought forms from Lord Vishnu's sleeping body and endeavour to vanquish Lord Brahma who is preparing to create the next cycle of the Universe. Lord Brahma sings to the Great Goddess, asking Her to withdraw from Lord Vishnu so He may awaken and slay the demons. Devi agrees to withdraw and Lord Vishnu awakens and vanquishes the demons. Here Devi serves as the agent who allows the cosmic order to be restored.

In this episode, Colleen and Robyn sit down with Walter Lübeck. Through his varied training, research and development, and past life recollections, his work has a unique spiritual depth and practical effectiveness. Most of the content of his teachings is based on memories of past life experiences as a spiritual teacher and healer. In various research projects he worked with internationally active scientists on the scientific documentation of the effects of the methods he developed and was thus able to impressively confirm the energetic effects of applications from the fields of “Rainbow Reiki” & “Three Ray Meditation” & “Medicine Buddha Practice.” Walter is also an avid musician he has released several music productions, teaches shamanic drumming (Magic Power Drums) and singing. Among other things, he plays various drums, drum synthesizers, hand pans, tongue drums, didgeridoo and synthesizers, and Native American flute. He performs regularly in concerts and has recorded several music albums. For many decades he has clothed his mystical experiences in poems and songs, often of a mantra character, which are frequently passed on to his students in his seminars. Contributions by Walter Lübeck have appeared in over 20 journals over the years. Among others in: Connection, Reiki Magazine (German), Reiki Magazine (USA), Spirit-Online, Angel Magazine, Grenzenlos, Tantra Magazine, Vigeno, Spirit & Healing, LebensArt. Since the year 2000 had developed a range of radionics products, spiritual technology, under the name of “Goddess Radionics” which help humans, animals, and plants to better cope with the multiple stresses of the environment, make vibrational essences of all kinds themselves, and create personal power places. This gift was given to him on a trip to Rishikesh (India) by the Goddess of the river Ganges. Goddess Radionics brings various healing structures of Divine Light into the material world through unique sacred graphics. In recent years, Walter Lübeck has expanded Goddess Radionics into the realm of video art. Thus, he artistically depicts a rich variety of healing spiritual processes on various topics of daily life and soul development, most of which are available free of charge on his YouTube channel in several languages for spiritually interested people, Walter Lübeck lives in the north of Germany in the midst of a beautiful landscape, which is crisscrossed with ancient places of power and mystical sites, which he likes to visit. He teaches at his Rainbow Center in Hameln as well as at various spiritual centers in Germany when he is not working internationally. Many of his courses are also held as multimedia webinars. He teaches in German and English. Walter Lübeck accompanies his students to enlightenment and spiritual realization and supports them in difficult stages of the path, such as the integration of mystical experiences, the rising of the Kundalini or enlightenment experiences. If needed, he gives spiritual names, personal mantras and Shaktipad, the touch of the Great Goddess. Sharon L. Coggan, previously professor of religious studies, and author of Sacred Disobedience, discusses the importance of goddess to our modern culture with Shira. Why has modern culture has lost its sense of the sacred? How did our present common fear of mystery and divinity come about? What has caused are we starved for the profound experience? What is the difference between religion and mysticism? What are the effects of purposeful suppression of the goddess, the feminine aspect in every being and repressed sexuality? We look at the triple goddess Uma/Parvati, Durga and Kali, women archetypes, symbolism, etymlogy and how to use it for self-development and shadow work. We want the light but too often we focus on the darkness. Focusing on what we don't want. On perceived problems. Humanity is ascending into higher consciousness. Into love consciousness. Into a heart centric people. The divine feminine has never left us. The Goddess, The Great Goddess ever present, always seeking us and embracing us throughout this dark period is humanities history. The patriarchy is dead energetically. The cords have already been cut and healed. We must also lead this new paradigm. We must behave as if we have the power that we do. We must speak. We must stand in visibility in the world. We face shadow so we can refocus on the light. Rather than focus on darkness we grow through it. We don't shrink from the challenges we self nurture. This is an episode devoted to the Great Goddess of boundaries, crossroads, magic and witchcraft - Hecate. Considered to be one of the most ancient deities ever known, Hecate is found in the stories of the Ancient Greeks, but there are whisperings that she existed even before that time.Hecate became Persephone's constant companion and protector after the girl's abduction by Hades. After the 5th century BCE, Hecate became more associated with all things belonging to the shadow side - such as death, witchcraft, magic, the moon, hellhounds and any creature that roamed in the darkness. As “Queen of the Night,” it is said she would lead hordes of spirits and other social outcasts with her, wherever she would go. She was both honored and feared as the protectress of the oppressed and of those who lived "on the edge". She reminds us of the importance of change, can help us release the past and asks us to let go of what is familiar and safe … courageously travelling into new beginnings. Joseph Campbell brought mythology to a mass audience. His bestselling books, including The Power of Myth and The Hero with a Thousand Faces, are the rare blockbusters that are also scholarly classics. While Campbell's work reached wide and deep as he covered the world's great mythological traditions, he never wrote a book on goddesses in world mythology. He did, however, have much to say on the subject. Between 1972 and 1986 he gave over twenty lectures and workshops on goddesses, exploring the figures, functions, symbols, and themes of the feminine divine, following them through their transformations across cultures and epochs. In this provocative volume, editor Safron Rossi—a goddess studies scholar, professor of mythology, and curator of collections at Opus Archives, which holds the Joseph Campbell archival manuscript collection and personal library—collects these lectures for the first time. In them, Campbell traces the evolution of the feminine divine from one Great Goddess to many, from Neolithic Old Europe to the Renaissance. He sheds new light on classical motifs and reveals how the feminine divine symbolizes the archetypal energies of transformation, initiation, and inspiration.
New stories about the gods! Homo Divinitas, by podcaster Patrick Garner, is now available on Amazon as an audible book! ... Welcome to Episode 20. We're taking a short break from our usual episodes to hear Chapter 1 of the audible book, Homo Divinitas. It has the same Greek gods you love, but they show up in the modern world where they meddle and maneuver as they always have. Homo Divinitas is the third book of The Winnowing trilogy. All three novels are about the Greek gods and goddesses. In Chapter 1 you'll meet Timessa, a nymph who has been transformed by Gaia into the original Great Goddess from 40,000 years ago. The Great Goddess was and is more powerful than any of the Greek gods. Increasing the intrigue, the original Greek deities have also reappeared in our world, and they don't know what to make of Timessa. We meet her after she has become the most famous fashion model in the world. Timessa—now the Great Goddess as well—has just given up her career to live on Naxos, an island in Greece. This is lucky for us because she was having a harder and harder time balancing both roles. She had become a danger to all. Note that the trilogy, which include The Winnowing, Cycladic Girls and Homo Divinitas, is adult reading. This reading of Chapter 1 has been slightly modified for listeners of all ages. Our next episode returns to ancient Greek gods. Expect to hear about the Sphinx—not the Egyptian version but the divine sphinx that terrified the Greeks by posing impossible riddles. Those who failed to answer correctly were promptly eaten alive ...Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/garnersgreekmythology)

This week we are talking about how huge portions of women's history are hard to know because so much is left blank. The biggest blank in all history is pre-history... and many women historians have tried to stake a claim there... suggesting that perhaps there was a time when women reigned supreme. Some argue that there was once a Great Goddess, worshipped above all gods. Obviously, this is disputed. So, as Brooke says, let's get into this.BibliographyDiamond, Jared. “The Worst Mistake in Human History.” Discover Magazine, 1987.Eller, Cynthia. Communing with the energy of Mother Mary The Divine Feminine. The Great Mother. The Queen of Heaven. The Great Goddess.
This week we’re reissuing this magical conversation with Starhawk, one of the most respected voices in modern Earth-based spirituality, that originally aired in 2017. A veteran of progressive movements, from anti-war to anti-nukes, Starhawk is deeply committed to applying the techniques and creative power of spirituality to political activism. She is the author or coauthor of twelve books, including The Spiral Dance: A Rebirth of the Ancient Religion of the Great Goddess, long considered the essential text for the Neo-Pagan movement, Webs of Power: Notes from the Global Uprising, a call to re-conceive our political and economic systems at the very deepest levels, and the now-classic ecotopian novel The Fifth Sacred Thing. Starhawk’s call to bring together tools of spiritual empowerment with activism, asks us to critically examine systems of control and domination and our responses to them – including areas where we may be giving our power away unknowingly to so-called authority figures and/or systems and where sources of spiritual power may have been forcibly removed. During this global moment where governments are under pressure to uphold their end of the implicit social contract, it may behoove us to examine areas where fear may continue to dominate our thinking, and how we can reclaim our personal power during times of uncertainty by reclaiming a relationship to ritual, intuition, healing and nurturing power within.

Green Tara appears as a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, and as a female Buddha in Vajrayana Buddhism. Green Tara is known as a protector from fear and all other major sources of suffering: pride, delusion/ignorance, hatred/anger, jealousy, fanatical views, avarice/miserliness, attachment/aversion as well as acting as a guardian against lower astral and galactic energies and entities. Green Tara is known as the "Mother of Liberation". In this transmission there is a clearing of mental poisons and delusions which generate unnecessary suffering. “We bow down to you, Green Tara, Great Goddess, liberator from suffering generated as this world moved through a great darkness and polarisation. You bring liberation from this 3D paradigm and all associated suffering connected to birth, old age, sickness and death. You are the great protector who helps us safely move across the great ocean of existence. We call to you to assist unbinding us from all negative karma and all associated stories, beliefs or attitudes, judgements, lower frequency thoughts, ignorance and all bondage. We call to you and request refuge and your blessings in our hearts and minds. Great Goddess, we ask you to purify all impurities we have picked up from the 3D Matrix, impurities of mind, of heart, of body, of ego, all our choices, our speech and our actions. Purify us from pride, delusions, ignorance, hatred, rage, envy, attachments/aversions, and all lower astral and galactic energies and entities. Assist us in this cleansing of all mental and energetic poisons so we may vibrate at a higher frequency and know our true Buddha Nature.”

Liberate The Podcast: We aim to educate, motivate, inspire and liberate your consciousness! Episode 34: Meditation, Archetypes & Goddesses "If I look at the Goddess archetype deconstructed - the full female person - we have access to all of those goddesses at all times. And by looking at them one by one, I can start to identify in myself, 'Oh, where is my Aphrodite? How does my Aphrodite come out in the world? Do I have enough Demeter going on? Could this situation use a little more of that mother energy?' Those goddesses are all aspects of the Great Goddess. A lot of different cultures have this. It's a theme that runs throughout the world through cultures that weren't talking to each other. This is just deep, primal, in-our-DNA recognition of these archetypes. And then through the meditation came this idea that if I can recognize these things in myself, all of us can recognize these things in ourselves. Men and women. To have a recognition through archetype, immediately - that identification says, 'Okay. I'm not alone.' There's a chance to get information from the archetype as opposed to fighting it or succumbing to it." - Nina Millin, Actress, Meditation Facilitator, Goddess and Goddess Archetype Expert.
