Kennen Sie Radio Connection?

Step aside summertime sadness. The Walmart and Sam's Club Radio team knows how to close out summer on a positive note - and so do associates across the country! Big Time Brenda from Store 767 in Lake City, Florida, officially made Kirby's day, and Kirby's started working on a jingle in her honor. Chris' week was already going swimmingly when Sue from Store 923 in Noblesville, Indiana, called in with an enthusiastic 89th birthday shoutout to fellow associate Billie. Meanwhile, Lauren from Store 2757 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, helped Bo crack a very sticky case from Detective Product. What else? Kirby revealed the augmented reality trend that may be coming to a restaurant menu near you; Chris and Producer Tanner debated the merits of watermelon salsa; and Bo welcomed several long-term associates into the Walmart & Sam's Radio Studio. Visiting Houston with voiceover legend Dave Crockett, talking about his radio days in Houston, Chicago and Atlanta; the start of his production company WeHo Studios, and all about the voiceover biz! Serious with a mix of humor, Dave shares a great discussion for aspiring (and veteran) voice pros about what it really takes to make it in the voiceover business, how to find your own voice, those questions about unions and agents; how to hustle in a booming voiceover market and why focus and hard work bring true success to any voiceover story! Then we go into all the hilarious details about how he created his (faux) leopard-jacket-wearing character, Nigel Woodcock (watch the video at his studio website!) Bring your studio savvy self to the studio and join us!About the Spotlight Conversations podcast:Join me as I invite friends inside my cozy linoleum free recording studio to talk all about media.
