While the ramp-up of autonomous driving tools has been years in the making, China appears to be tapping the breaks on this emerging tech – or at least how it's being portrayed.Recent reports say China has instituted a ban on certain words being used in advertising vehicles and their automated features. Such descriptions include the terms “smart,” “self-driving” and “autonomous driving.”But it doesn't appear to end there. Reuters cited a meeting between Chinese government officials and auto industry leaders that points to new rules about technology rollouts.
HT2229 - Software Updates, Image Updates Here's a question that's both philosophical and practical. When there is a software update that could dramatically improve an image you've already finished, do you go back and update the image because the software allows you to improve it in ways that were previously impossible? Or, do you leave it as is because you are busy doing new work rather than living in the past?
The boys discuss the best way to enter a Ren Fair, Jesus and the ungodly amount od software updates we all get.

„In kritischen Situationen zählt jede Sekunde.

Every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month provides an important reminder to everyone to review their cyber behavior. One of the most important things you can do is to make sure you keep up with software updates – those regular patches that plug newly discovered security holes that cyber criminals can and will use to attack your systems. Watch out for notifications in your web browser, antivirus and security software, and operating system that new versions are available, and accept the updates as soon as you can. You should also turn on automatic updates where possible, so that your operating systems and mobile applications are always up to date – keeping them secure and also giving you access to the latest features. If you're using company equipment or devices, your IT team will probably handle many updates for you – but they aren't likely to touch your home devices, including routers and security cameras that you should also update to avoid their being compromised. Remember: to stay secure, update early, update quickly, and update everything. The 60-second "Security Nudge" is brought to you by CybSafe, developers of the Human Risk Management Platform.
