In this episode of Connected Leadership Bytes, Andy Lopata revisits the episode with LaTonya Kilpatrick, Worldwide Director of Technology Research and Innovation at Colgate Palmolive. LaTonya, a chemist by training, discusses the critical role of strong partnerships, both internal and external, in her work to develop better oral care solutions. She emphasises that effective partnerships begin with understanding each party's motivations, curiosity, and what they can gain from collaboration. LaTonya describes how her team often partners with external academics for data analysis or with companies that need help navigating oral care regulations and metrics. She also highlights internal partnerships with product development and IT teams to bring ideas to fruition. She explains that the decision to build a competency or partner depends on project needs and whether the partnership is a long-term investment for the company. A major challenge lies in bridging the communication gap between different departments (e.g., scientists vs. IT) and ensuring all contributors, especially implementers, feel appreciated and recognised for their role. LaTonya maintains that transparency and authentic communication are also crucial to maintaining trust. She discusses how the most successful partnerships are with those who understand the value of the relationship. Finally, Andy and LaTonya talk about her passion to engage children in science, emphasising her role as a scientist and mentor. Her goal is to help them by making science fun and approachable early on, inspiring children to see science in their everyday lives, using simple experiments. Key Takeaways: Understanding Motivations: Successful partnerships begin with truly understanding what motivates each party, what their goals are, and how they can benefit from thecollaboration. Build vs. Partner: Decisions on whether to build internal expertise or partner externally should be made on a project-by-project basis, considering long-term value and needed expertise. Language and Communication: Bridging communication gaps between different departments or organisations is crucial. It is essential to adapt language, really listen, and find common ground. Appreciation is Key: Recognising and appreciating all contributors, including those in supporting roles, is vital for building and maintaining trust and morale. Research is Essential: Those seeking partnerships must demonstrate they understand the needs and value of the potential partner by doing their research and presenting it in the right perspective. Science is Everywhere: Science can be made fun and approachable for children, fostering their natural curiosity. I first came across Neal Foard about a year ago. I saw one of his videos on Linkedin and I was hooked. Since then, I light up every time I see the distinctive black backdrop with his smiling face inviting me in for another immersive life lesson. Neal is a storyteller. He shares beautiful, heart-warming stories – always with a powerful takeaway. In an age where many of our political leaders and media personalities encourage us to think the worst of each other and to focus on the rage, Neal highlights the best of us. Through his stories, he inspires the best of us. Neal's background is in in advertising and marketing. Thirty years spent creating award-winning campaigns for global power brands like Budweiser, Sony and Nokia. For his work on Toyota, Neal ranked among the top ten most awarded creative directors in the world in 2002. As the author of an innovative talent development series, Neal was named Worldwide Director of Creative Learning for global ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi. He has consulted on creative messaging for Fortune 500 companies and universities and been a featured speaker at TEDx conferences. Most recently, Neal has gained a sudden following on social media for his inspirational videos about the kindnesses of everyday people. Today, I am so excited to introduce you to Neal. This episode is filled with stories and insightful nuggets of gold. Ultimately the message that rises up is the immense power of stories to connect us in a disconnected world, to build trust and to inspire the best from us. Highlights: Stories – many of them - littered through our chat. You're welcome! Neal shares a story about a car dealer friend, whose philosophy is to be prepared to lose a little money to make a friend. I'll leave you to figure out how healthy his bank balance is! We talk about how the best leaders bring a real energy when they walk in the room; they don't just have that energy, they inspire it in others Neal shares his belief that brands are not only defined by what they do, but what they don't, or won't do We talk about trust and Neal shares his view (which I share) that trust is the most valuable commodity a business can offer. He shares the story of Sandra, a hotel receptionist who left an enduring impression on him through her thoughtful and playful approach Neal shares his background story of thirty years in advertising, along the way he shares the insight of what great brands do – enable people to be seen. He uses the Barbie movie as a great example of this. He explains what Storyfire does and why it is so important – words, persuasion and most powerfully stories, allow us to relate to each other, which build trust We explore the idea of energy, the magnetic gravitational pull, that stories can inspire Neal loops back to the story of Sandra, sharing a deeper explanation of why the impression she created was so powerful – by making him the hero of a story he could share with others, she had played to his narrative (one we all share) of being the hero of his own story. There's a beautiful insight here around ‘Story Gifting' and the power we all have to do this. We explore the value of being our unique selves and attracting the people and opportunities that reflect who we are – connecting to our identity. Neal shares a personal story that demonstrates the Pygmalion effect – when you set a standard of behaviour and expect people to live up to it, they usually will. Neal explains why he shares stories of human kindness; through his own personal experiences, to combat the confected rage that is being stirred up by elements in society We discuss the importance and power of stories to inspire the best of us. Not brand stories or marketing stories, but everyday stories that reflect our identity. Neal explains why he believes CEOs should be the greatest tellers of stories, to infuse a culture with belief… “Stories are the CEO providing a vision and warm safe place for people to be their best self; for them to think of new ideas because they're not terrified of losing their job tomorrow” (had to include that)! He also shares why CFOs ought to be storytellers – to tell you where the numbers are headed; and of course, why sales people too should be storytellers Neal envisions his dream for the future: travelling America to tell the stories of American small businesses – relationships, truth telling, values, old fashioned traits - people taking care of each other Connect with Neal On Linkedin On YouTube On Instagram On TikTok Storyfire website
It seems that there is more division of late on our planet. People are angry and hurt. Since the pandemic, we've all been asked to change and pivot directions, even though we may not know exactly where we are heading. It seems that more people than ever are searching for answers. Lisa continues the conversation today with Steve Farrell, Co-founder & Worldwide Director of Humanity's Team, a global nonprofit organization helping people everywhere awaken to our interconnectedness through platforms such as their new Humanity Stream+ streaming service. They give away a free subscription for every paid subscription. Steve talks about his latest book, “A New Universal Dream,” which is a true story of how he grew up with 6 siblings and a single mom in a small house. Eleven years later he is in the heart of success of Silicon Valley, then finds himself in the middle of the consciousness conversation. They discuss how channelers and mediums say one person standing in the light can affect millions in the dark. Buddha and Christ are examples of this. Mediums teach energy work and Steve found a process of the daily practice of meditation and at least 3 times a day just tunes in to the love and light of universal intelligence, pure love. With all the challenges of the world, there is support for people in their journey to consciousness. We can have a new, awake world. A daily practice of meditation and mindfulness can carry energy throughout the day. It is possible to bring your level of light out to the world, whether meditation, or a walk, or just a moment in which you can brighten someone else's day. Steve also talks about the “New Spirituality” and the deep understanding that we are spiritual beings. We are approaching a Tipping Point. After Covid, people are looking for a better way to live a life. We must elevate our consciousness. Through meditation and mindful acts, we can all connect to guides and angels and talk with them to get answers. So many people are still experiencing low-level frequencies of early childhood trauma. We are reacting to this. But there is a way to operate through connectedness and consciousness. Self-compassion is key. Be in the possibility. The inside doesn't get healed until we take time for self-compassion. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info and Free programs are available at HumanitysTeam.org.
Change is inevitable, and it seems like humanity has been on a non-stop roller coaster of a ride since the pandemic. We've all been asked to change and pivot directions, even though we may not know exactly where we are heading. It seems that more people than ever are searching for answers. Where and how are things changing, especially in the consciousness communities? Our guest today is Steve Farrell,Co-founder & Worldwide Director of Humanity's Team, a global nonprofit organization helping people everywhere awaken to our interconnectedness through platforms such as their new Humanity Stream+ streaming service. Steve attained the pinnacle of success as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, founding two high-tech firms, yet he was still looking for meaning in it all. After years searching for answers, he found himself at a meeting two decades ago with best-selling author of the “Conversations with God” series Neale Donald Walsch. Together they and a group of visionaries discussed the idea of what a new world could look like and how we can all find answers from within. Steve decided to leave his highly successful role running high-tech firms and pivoted to lead Humanity's Team. His new book is "A New Universal Dream," which details his journey from a young entrepreneur to a life in service to humanity. Today he talks about the initial meeting with Neale and how awakening the idea of Oneness -- the idea that we are one with God and one with the Universe -- was such a radical idea at the time. They realized education is the key factor in conscious living, so he utilized his technology background, and they created a streaming platform. It seems with all the division in the world, more and more people are being called to conscious living now. In a world so divided, learning to live in a different way is a necessity and we DO have choice. Do you choose division? Or do you choose love? It is possible that we can choose the divine and we can live in alignment with compassion for the billions of people on Earth. As a serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, Steve learned how to run companies and understood how to bring information to people. His goal is to bring consciousness to people in an easy way to access it. Humanity's Team offers courses and classes and programs will be translated into 75 languages worldwide. Steve also discusses his latest book “A New Universal Dream” and talks about the real possibility that there's life all over the universe and multi-verse. The mystics shared the vision that we are all part of this universal consciousness. We are inseparable from God and the Universe. We are part of it all, including all of the billions of people on Earth. We know that everything is energy. We can learn to change our wording and aim to live in our greater self. Instead of saying, “Today is a bad day or today is a good day,” we can live as our “bigger self.” We can create a new level of self every day. This choice is free. Decisions are free. Changing your state of mind is free. It's a leap, but if you do it over and over, you can change where you place your focus. Synchronicities and miracles are possible. If you put your thoughts in a forward direction, things will change. Steve also talks about life reviews, Near Death Experiences, and the feelings people have at the end. We know life can change in an instant. We can realize this and not accept what doesn't work anymore. There is a way to live an authentic life. We can have authentic conversations with ourselves and our loved ones. If we were to live like our last day is tomorrow, would we make different decisions? It is possible to make choices toward living a life of light and love. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info and Free programs are available at HumanitysTeam.org.

In an environment of generosity, you unlock speed, you unlock creativity, you unlock new ideas, and you know that new ideas are a compound interest article, right? The Marketing crisis for small business and startups Beware of the trap of choosing efficiency over effectiveness Episode 113 (Gee is based in Strasbourg, France) In this conversation with Gee Ranasinha, we explore: Why marketing is broken and the resulting marketing crisis Appreciating the value of differentiation and danger of not How to recognize "the people who call themselves marketers" Why it starts and ends with how people feel Why you want to consider the amygdala in your marketing plans The real purpose of branding when connecting with your decisions About Gee Ranasinha: Founder and CEO of KEXINO, an award-winning start-up and small business marketing agency. Gee's background is in B2B marketing, small business marketing, branding, differentiation, and customer behavior. Gee's been in marketing since the days of dial-up modems. For seven years Gee was Worldwide Director of Marketing for a software company, working with clients such as IKEA, Marvel, Nestlé, Airbus, and Time Magazine. For the past 14 years he has been CEO of KEXINO, an award-winning marketing agency specializing in helping startups and small businesses around the world deploy next-generation marketing within - and across - their organizations. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute Of Marketing, Gee is also Visiting Professor at European business school IEF, teaching final-year MBA students on Marketing and Behavioral Economics. Connect with Gee and learn more at Kexino.com ----- Excerpts from this conversation with Gee Ranasinha: 01:59 It's quite simple, really, it goes to my history, way back when, for seven years, I was worldwide director of marketing for a software company, fairly large software company in Europe serving blue chip clients such as timing can IKEA, Nestle, Airbus Marvel people like that. And whenever I was invited, to have marketing agencies come in to pitch for our business, I was always amazed at how little notice they took towards any fiduciary responsibility for the marketing plans that they proposed. And at the same time, this is back in 2007 or so the thing called the internet was beginning to affect our daily lives. I don't know George, maybe you've heard of it, this thing called the internet. 02:51 It was, it was the big brands who were the ones taking advantage of the potential of the internet because they had greater technical experience. And obviously, deeper pockets. And small businesses and startups are getting left behind. And so I figured that there was an opportunity for a marketing agency resource, specifically aimed at helping small businesses and startups that could help them leverage the power of online engagement and the evolution of customer buying processes. And so that's why in January 2008, I resigned my comfortable corporate position, with all its trappings and international travel and company cars and expense accounts, and all that sort of stuff. And we launched our marketing agency. ----- 12:51 So firstly, I think marketing is in crisis, because it is ideologically disliked, in the higher tiers of business. Okay. And secondly, I mean, I'll expand upon this in a minute. Secondly, I think marketing is in crisis, because much of the work conducted by people who call themselves marketers, notice I didn't call the marketers I said people who call themselves marketers is only a tiny bit of what marketing is actually about. 13:26 And what the people who call themselves marketers are actually doing is communications is promotion. 13:38 Which if we go back to the four P's of marketing is you know, only 25% of what marketing is. And so, as a result of just focusing on comms and communications and messaging, marketing has been relegated to a sales support function. Right. And within so many organizations, the marketing function is seen as, producing brochures, updating the website, getting some tote bags made, getting some stress balls printed, and at the other end, marketing is being used as an automation tool to automate lead generation and advertising. But it's delivering substandard and increasingly ineffectual results. So what do I mean that CEOs have a dislike to marketing? 14:36 I think they have an inherent distrust in marketing because it goes against the way they think, CEOs and CFOs, accountants, numbers-people, that they look at other areas of the business. And those areas are very pragmatic and they're very, they're based on rationality. They're based on sequential thought. ----- Businesses are looking to create a, a data driven repeatable process, but one that's devoid of creativity, salience, or resonance, and then they wonder why their marketing doesn't work. ----- It needs to have in in my opinion, it needs to have somebody who understands a customer. There are far too many conversations that I have with business owners with people who call themselves marketers who haven't spoken to a customer in the past six weeks. Now to me that tantamount to a dereliction of duty, ----- The book he mentioned, Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. ----more---- Your Intended Message is the podcast about how you can boost your career and business success by improving your communication skills. Rusty now works as a career coach with corporate leaders, business owners and C-suite leaders ready for more personal success, and looking to upgrade their success without sacrifice. I loved the problem solving, but I didn't love the stress & constant fire drills. I moved to finance and was promoted to Worldwide Director, which was my goal at the time. I was leading global projects, a key contributor to the company-wide financial forecasting process, & building a team from scratch. Great opportunity and great challenges, but my son was 2 at the time, and I was torn between more hours at work or more with my son and my wife. I felt like I was failing in both places. I was supposed to hire a manager to report to me at Apple, but instead I took that manager position, demoting myself. I loved the freedom to follow my life's priorities - volunteering at my son's school, enjoying evenings free of work - but I didn't realize I had put myself into a dead-end job. I was there for 8 years. I knew there had to be a way to have both a meaningful job and a good life, but I didn't know how to find it. I felt stuck there for years before I got the help I needed to figure it out. That's why I'm a coach - to help you find your version of meaningful work + a good life.” --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nathan-leslie/message

Saleem Ahamed is the Chief Marketing Officer at Plastic Bank, an organization that is helping the world to stop ocean plastic, while improving the lives of those who help collect it. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Plastic Bank's mission is to empower the regenerative society by building ethical recycling ecosystems in coastal communities and reprocessing the materials for reintroduction into the global manufacturing supply chain. Currently, the company operates in Haiti, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Egypt, and works with over 17,000 collectors. So far, Plastic Bank has stopped over one billion plastic bottles from entering our oceans. That's over 20 million kilograms of plastic waste. With a background in business and marketing, Saleem began his career over 25 years ago, working for Procter & Gamble in Europe. After more than a decade with Procter & Gamble, he joined Johnson & Johnson, where he eventually became Worldwide Director of Global Strategic Marketing. In 2012, he decided to launch a business of his own, as Co-Founder and CEO of Silver Health Systems, a valet dental care company. After four years of this entrepreneurial hiatus, he rejoined Johnson & Johnson to take on a series of senior leadership roles – including that of Global CMO – in the company's Diabetes Care division. In 2019, Saleem transitioned into the Cleantech space, when he took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Terramera, a Vancouver-based AgTech company focused on applying AI solutions to agricultural problems. Finally, in early 2020, he joined the team at Plastic Bank in his current position of CMO. In this interview, Saleem talks about why Plastic Bank set up its operations in the countries where it did, the importance of driving the value proposition through strategic brand management, and how the organization now creates value on multiple levels for different types of stakeholders – from local plastic collectors to multinational corporate partners. My guest today, Rusty Gaillard, had it all. A great family, an MBA from Stamford, and his dream job as the Worldwide Director of Finance at Apple. But something was missing. So after 13 years, he walked away from Apple and started a new career helping other high achievers live the lives they want, instead of the lives they were told they should. In this episode he’ll tell you how he navigated the challenges he faced, and how you can find the courage to live your best life.

2020 has created an intense focus for companies to reconsider their relationship with customers and how they serve them. The vision and promise of good Customer Experience often talks about creating“wows” with customers at scale. Yet many of the tech stack tools and operating metrics that dominate the industry discussion can detract from the fundamental human interaction that drives those positive customer responses. And many companies have yet to create true Customer Experience capabilities tied to their fundamental growth strategies. Craig Binkley, Managing Partner of Fidelum Partners, will talk with us about The Human Brand in all our companies and how to connect our customer service vision and our operating approaches and tools. Guest: Craig Binkley | Fidelum Partners Craig Binkley is Managing Partner of Fidelum Partners, a strategy consulting firm using customer and employee insights to drive loyalty and growth. Before Fidelum, Craig was CEO of Northstar – an award-winning insights agency working in over sixty countries from offices in Toronto, New York, Atlanta and London. Craig was also EVP of Strategy for MDC Partners, where he led the network’s insights into digital transformation that is disrupting traditional marketing models and the overall customer experience. This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour , Sam welcomes founder and Executive Strategic Consultant, *Dean Foster*. Dean is the founder of DFA Intercultural Global Solutions; and former Worldwide Director of Berlitz Cross-Cultural; and currently Executive Strategic Consultant for Dwellworks Intercultural. His work has taken him to more than 100 countries. He is the host on *CNN* of the nationwide “Doing Business in … ” series; a frequent guest commentator on culture, global work and social issues for *CNN, CNBC,* the *BBC* and other radio and TV shows; and has been interviewed in *Newsweek, USA Today,* *New York Times,* and elsewhere *.* In 2012 Dean was inducted into Worldwide ERC's prestigious *“Hall of Leaders”;* in 2013 he received the Forum for Expatriate Management's acclaimed *Lifetime Achievement Award*. Dean has written many articles and published five books, including *Bargaining Across Borders* ( https://d38rqs2egh08o4.cloudfront.net/link_click/f0yQJ5XfJ7_bkDkc/36005d53214a11aa269901c7e6db790e ) , voted as one of the top ten business books of the year by the American Library Association. As a contributing editor with National Geographic, he wrote the monthly “CultureWise” column appearing in National Geographic Traveler Magazine. Watch the *Facebook Livestream by clicking here* ( https://www.facebook.com/InspiredThoughtsWithSam/videos/4393348954023716/ ) *.* ** *Segment 1:* The show starts with the weekly quotes from Abraham and the Universe. The first quote has to do with focusing on conquering today. The second is about living in the moment -- the journey is not about getting to the destination, it is about joyfully walking along the path. So often we are just looking to get to the end goal and not appreciating the views on the way there. Sam introduces his guest Dean Foster, (not to be confused with science fiction author Allen Dean Foster). Dean is an extremely accomplished global businessman. He has published 5 books, one of which was voted into the top 10 Business Books of the Year. He consults with organizations on understanding the impacts that culture has when you work with many different backgrounds. *Segment 2:* Dean, like Sam, is a native New Yorker and grew up in an extremely multicultural environment. Dean says multiculturalism is like being a fish in the water, who doesn't see the water. You are often immersed in it without knowing it and Dean suggests that people should be aware of how the cultural differences affect a person's environment. Defaulting to a negative standpoint when we think about culture is not productive, and instead it should be thought of as a gift and opportunity to think about things differently. Sam asks what can be done to be more mindful of cultural differences. Dean gives a two tiered response: (1) turn off your ego, and (2) enlist them as an ally in your journey by asking questions. He suggests that businesses use the differences as a tool to achieve an understanding. *Segment 3:* Sam and Dean use the example of the Japanese, who Sam has worked with closely in the past. They do business community-style which means everyone on the team must have their questions answered, everyone has to look at every detail before they come to a decision, and it must be a consensus. This may be frustrating for the US American who is looking for fast decision making without consulting too heavily with the team. There is an inherent humility with the Japanese, who do not differentiate their solo work from the work of the team, which is very different from the American style of business. They discuss how the Japanese have been wearing masks for so long and the Americans are having trouble latching on to this. Sam says that wearing a mask is an “act of kindness” rather than a political statement - it shows caring for the wellbeing of others. The “collective good” mindset that is common in Asia is a factor as to why they are making such progress with COVID. Dean reminds the audience that it's all about balance. *Segment 4:* Sam asks Dean how he relates to someone who has an extremely different culture from him. Dean says that we must humbly and respectfully ask questions about the things we don't understand. It is important to find the similarities between cultures, but the similarities don't negate the differences. The similarities are what you use to build on, but the differences are what will make the problems. Dean says the biggest challenge we must conquer is denying the differences even though the current generation is more mindful that they exist. The problem is people don't know how to manage them. It is the responsibility of everyone to educate themselves about the variances between the people of this planet. Dean's greatest hope is that as we are forced to interact with each other, we find a way to grow rather than retreating to violence. In this episode, you'll hear Steve Farrell, Worldwide Director of Humanity's Team (interviewed by Brian Christopher Hamilton), tell the story of how he and Neale Donald Walsch, author of the Conversations with God series, co-founded Humanity’s Team with the purpose of spreading the message of Oneness, connection, peace and Unity to a global audience. Humanity’s Team continues to spread this message in several forms, including the creation of the Oneness Declaration (which is available for all to sign on the Humanity’s Team website), hosting the annual Global Oneness Day Summit, and offering transformative educational programs and free events throughout the year. In this heartfelt and lively discussion, Steve and Brian talk about the different ways we can deeply connect with the spiritual truth of Oneness in both an intensely personal and also collective way, and then tap into that connection as we move the mission of Oneness forward, so that each and every one of us may be of increasing benefit to ourselves, to humanity, and to the Earth itself. When Brian talks about his own spiritual transformation and asks Steve about "planting seeds," Steve answers with a bold statement about connection to Oneness not only being about self-realizing but also about saving ourselves. We talked about the three “Cs” of marketing: Customers; Competitors; and the contribution we would make (our competitive advantage). Companies that are above 100 million in revenues have people on staff that focus on this. But companies below that (revenue) typically do not because they simply don’t have that expertise.” ~ Don Sando Don works with companies in two basic areas: developing overall business and operational plans, as well as marketing & sales plans... assessing the market and developing the plans to grow revenue, market share, and profitability. working with organizations to create a culture of accountability, such that plans actually get executed. "The Spider Graham Series" with guest, Jeremy Dalnes of PULSE INSIGHTS Spider Graham (co-author of Taking Down Goliath, veteran digital media buyer, seller, and producer, and long-time digital advertising, sales, and marketing practitioner) talks with Jeremy Dalnes about the myriad advantages of micro surveys in getting to know the visitors to your website, online shoppers, or listeners to your podcast. Dalnes, who recently launched Pulseinsights.com, explains how one-question surveys serve as a trail head, an entry point to huge amounts of data that can be analyzed according to the respondents' position in the sales funnel. The response rate to traditional surveys is a microscopic 0.5%. Pulse Insights has achieved from 4% to 17% response rates to single-question surveys, which are not interruptive or obtrusive, thus keeping the experience positive. The person who sees the survey can respond as easily as he or she can refuse, as both take just one click. A business can adopt “agile learning” about its user base, to better shape content strategy or acquisition strategy. The results of the micro survey can be presented integrated with Google analytics, making access a breeze. The most intriguing comments by Jeremy Dalnes deal with the importance of emotion as a driver of action. As an example, he cites a pharmaceutical company that included a question about belief—Do you believe this treatment will work?” Belief does not show up in Google or other analytics (except through Pulse Insights), but with it, strategists can see differences in segments and begin to understand potential customers presently in the upper levels of the sales funnel. Dr. J asked Mr. Dalnes, a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music, about the influence of music on his work. He speaks about the importance of learning to listen to the other members of your ensemble (team members) who absolutely must be listening to each other on performance night. The conductor is the CEO whose work is primarily pre-performance, shaping the sound. The individuals' execution depends upon practice, but to nail it on performance night they must be listening to each other. Jeremy Dalnes is Co-Founder of Pulse Insights a customer experience optimization platform that leverages voice of customer data combined with deep industry expertise to create an agile learning environment that drives material improvement in the metrics that matter for our clients. Prior to Pulse Insights, Jeremy served as Worldwide Director of Digital Strategy for Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices where he led global digital strategy to drive customer engagement and loyalty. Previously, Jeremy was VP of E-Business for Panasonic North America, where he was responsible for all online sales and marketing for Consumer Electronics North America. Originally from Chicago, Jeremy has worked in customer acquisition strategy, PR, and online advertising technology both in California and New York for such innovative and entrepreneurial companies such as Home Decor Products, Consumer Health and Wellness Startup, Zeo and Excite.com. Jeremy is an active conference speaker having participated in numerous industry conferences including Internet Retailer, Shop.org, & Ad:Tech. He received his bachelor's degree in Technology in Music and Related Arts (TIMARA) from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
