Andy and Brendan are without PJ for this Friday episode, prompting Andy to panic at the 53-minute mark about potentially forgetting to hit the record button. They begin on this quiet week where else but with Andy having to chaperone a preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch. Then they get to some early amusements from India, where Rory wants to play DLF and this week is keeping his driver in the locker — is this a good thing?! They whiparound on some rumors from the global home, where Brian Rolapp may be trying to figure out what is going on with some expensive operations. News touches on the rage bait of the week, Colt Knost's sponsored podcast segment announcing he's applying for reinstated amateur status. They bat this one around for a few minutes before moving to some rumors about the Schwab Cup finale and a hefty golf advice segment.
Welcome back to Stick to Football, brought to you by ARNE.In this episode, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Ian Wright are still soaking up the sun in Rome, delivering one of the funniest episodes yet.The team start by looking back at life after football, with Wrighty heading into showbiz while Roy, Carra and Gary stayed in the game through management and punditry. How did each of them find their path, and what challenges did they face along the way?The conversation then turns to Manchester United, revisiting the moment Sir Alex Ferguson announced his departure from the club. Could United have done more to stay on track, and was David Moyes really given enough time to succeed one of football's greatest managers?Attention then shifts to the modern game as the panel reveal one thing they would remove from football, from long throw-ins to offsides, everyone has their say.Golf then takes centre stage, with Wrighty and Roy going head-to-head over the Ryder Cup. While Wrighty loved every minute of it, Roy was far from impressed. To finish, the team answer a few lighter questions, from music and food to films, including one big debate: which movie does everyone love that you just don't get?Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and don't forget to like and subscribe so you never miss an episode of The Overlap. This episode is sponsored by Huel.Gary Neville and the Stick to Football team know - when your day's full-on, you need fuel that's fast and actually good for you.Huel is the ultimate meal on the go - high protein, packed with 26 essential vitamins & minerals, and ready in seconds.Exclusive for The Overlap listeners: Get £10 off for new customers with code OVERLAP.Claim Your Offer Now – and see why millions have made the switch. After nearly two decades in development hell, the long-awaited continuation of the 28 Days Later saga finally chewed its way into cinemas. Returning are director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland, the creative team behind the original films. The film sees a time jump as well, as it is now nearly three decades since the Rage virus turned the U.K. into mindless zombies. We follow Spike, a young boy who has grown up on an isolated island off the British coast, as he navigates a coming-of-age trip to the mainland impress his father by killing his first infected. Of course, things go sideways, and what starts as bonding turns into a fight for survival - and the realization that the living must face their own inner rage. With multiple sequels on the way, this reanimated franchise seems hungry for box-office dollars, but is it too much, too late? Join us as we unwrap the bloody present of 28 Years Later! Fall is officially here, and you know what that means — coaching firings season has begun. This week on JMO, Josh & Joe unload on Brian Kelly after LSU's frustrating performance against South Carolina (and yes, maybe they wouldn't mind if he joined the list of fired coaches). After another copy-paste Florida-style scoreline, the boys break down their raw reactions, passionate takes, and early emotions heading into Vanderbilt week.Elsewhere in college football, the James Franklin firing dominates the headlines, while Josh & Joe dream of teaming up with Curt Cignetti and vent their not-so-secret resentment toward Michigan for one very specific reason. In the NFL world, the Saints continue to test their fans' loyalty—but Josh & Joe can't agree on how the team should move forward. Meanwhile, Giants fans finally have something to cheer about, Lions fans are pulling their hair out, Jared Goff uncovers a rule nobody knew existed, and the Falcons are… well, being exactly who they always are.The boys close out the episode with their weekly betting advice, fresh off a perfect 4-0 record for JMO Specials this season. Whether you're looking to ride the wave or fade the picks, Josh & Joe have you covered with their can't-miss betting breakdowns for this weekend's college football and NFL slates. Tune in to find out if JMO stays hot—or if it's time to cash in by betting against them. Either way, you're winning.

President Trump's allies are suddenly raging over the October 18th “No Kings” protests. MAGA Mike Johnson and MAGA-fied Representative Steve Scalise are angrily sliming expected attendees as America-haters, antifa, Marxists, and terrorists. Other GOP figures have done the same, with one hinting that the National Guard should crack down on them. This unanimity of messaging about terrorists means it's all almost certainly being coordinated by Stephen Miller. Yet it's backfiring: Democrats and rally organizers are using it to galvanize attendance, which will likely succeed. Robert De Niro amplified the call to turn out, inspiring more anger on Fox News. Indeed, the GOP demonization of legitimate protests itself ratifies the “No Kings” message. We talked to Jill Lawrence, who writes well for The Bulwark on Trump's hatred of blue America. We discuss why large legitimate protests infuriate Trump-MAGA, why the correct response to their smears is to turn out in force, and why that's likely to happen. In the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries there was huge demand among medical practitioners for corpses on which to practices and perform. With the demand so came the suppliers in the form of body snatchers. These were highly motivated and well organised groups who solved the supply problem by taking the freshly buried dead and selling them to desperate surgeons. Joining today is Paul Bavill from the History Rage podcast as discusses the practice, the economic rewards and the quantities. Paul joins me as part of the Podcast Show Live preparations at the Imperial War Museum on Saturday 1st November. Do get your tickets and I'll see you there. In this deeply personal and insight-packed solo episode, Kristen shares a powerful reflection on what she calls “dumpster decisions”—those all-or-nothing moves we make when we're on the brink of burnout or buried in overwhelm. Drawing from her own journey of business pivots, personal healing, and rediscovery, Kristen opens up about how she threw away more than she needed to, only to later return and reclaim what still sparked joy.She walks listeners through the difference between rage cleaning your life and intentionally evaluating what still serves your evolving self. Along the way, she delivers relatable stories, thoughtful metaphors (hello, Marie Kondo and Harry Potter's phoenix!), and a massive announcement that longtime listeners will love.Spoiler alert: She's officially back in the weekly coaching chair—and you're invited. What You'll Hear in This Episode:What “dumpster decisions” are and why we make them during burnoutHow Kristen's business and personal life were shaped by burnout recoveryThe importance of honoring your evolution without shameHow your nervous system holds the key to better habits, performance, and joyThe birth of Sondera, Kristen's newest company helping people regulate, realign, and riseA sneak peek into the tools, coaching, and transformation waiting inside her new membershipThe full-circle moment: Kristen's return to live weekly coaching (and how you can join!)Key Takeaways:Burnout doesn't always mean burning everything down.Regulating your nervous system is the missing link between knowing what to do and actually doing it.Sometimes, the things you walked away from still belong with you—you just needed space to see it.Sustainable success is rooted in self-awareness, alignment, and nervous system integration.Special Announcement
On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast (10/13/25), Hank discusses Columbus Day, a U.S. holiday that commemorates the landing of Christopher Columbus in the Americas in 1492. In 2020, Columbus Day was the scene of carnage as demonstrators toppled statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt in Portland's South Park Block. Moreover, the moniker “Stolen Land” was ominously spray-painted across its concrete base. Protest organizers dubbed the event “Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage.” What could possibly motivate American citizens—supposed exemplars of social justice—to behave with such wanton recklessness in a supposed era of “wokeness” and progressive values? In trying to come to grips with this question, Hank was cowed by page after page of Google search results with exclamations that Columbus was a nefarious character—a ruthless money-grubbing, genocidal maniac, who severed hands, raped women, and enslaved gentle people to satisfy white Europeans' lust for gold. One starts to wonder “how can I trust history?” Mary Grabar, author of the book, Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation Against America asked this very question. A good deal of what you read on the internet is based on Zinn's historical revisionism. It constitutes a steady diet of poison seeping into the hearts and minds of impressionable children. Grabar exposes the fake history lessons that are systematically turning a new generation of kids against American exceptionalism.
Rage can feel overwhelming, explosive, or even scary. This tapping round helps you meet that intensity with honesty and care, so you can begin to move through it without judgment or suppression.

In Week 2 of Becoming a Redemptive Resistance, we explore James 1:19-21 and the call to reject worldly anger in favor of a Spirit-filled response. Instead of succumbing to the addictive pull of outrage culture, we're challenged to deconstruct misconceptions, like the common misuse of “Jesus flipped tables,” and embrace a posture of being “slow to anger.” As a redemptive presence, we're called to respond with wisdom and grace, reflecting God's righteousness in a reactive world.
It took two decades, but the rage virus is back. Jason and Rachel review 28 Years Later (2025), the shocking sequel from Danny Boyle and Alex Garland — now available on digital. We unpack the performances (Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes as Dr. Kelson, Alfie Williams), the bold genre twists, and whether the film lives up to the 28 Days Later legacy. From the chilling Rudyard Kipling poem to the Lindisfarne setting, the “Bone Temple” setup, and the controversial train sequence — we cover it all. Apologies aren't genuine if it's blamed on other unrelated entities. Unsurprisingly, Tami Sawyer's viral meltdown, caught on an officer's bodycam, has now given us one of the worst public apologies. Also on the show: National Guard troops have been spotted in Downtown Memphis by the Pyramid, and other notable spots, Jimmy Kimmel calls Antifa an imaginary organization like the Decepticons from Transformers, and we talk to WVNN radio host Dale Jackson on why Trump was snubbed of a Nobel Peace Prize. What happens when you've spent a lifetime unseen, unchosen, and defined by someone else's story? In this episode of Mother Mayhem, a daughter asks: Who Am I, really? Together, we explore:Why daughters of narcissistic or emotionally limited mothers often feel dissociated or split from themselvesHow dissociation shows up in daily life and gentle ways to come back into the presentWhy listening and gathering resources without acting is a trauma response, not a failureHow to begin bridging head and heart after years of survival modeWhat to do with rage and grief when confronting a mother won't bring healingHow identity is reclaimed, not reinvented and why it's never too late to beginThis episode offers both a clinical lens and a community one. It reminds daughters that healing happens in connection, not isolation. If you've ever wondered who you are beyond the roles you were given, or how to carry rage and grief without being consumed by them, this conversation will meet you right where you are.And if you're looking to be a sponsor of the show or want to know more about connecting with other Mayhem daughters, you can find us at MayhemDaughters.com

In this video, we break down: Why October is known as “Crash Month” and why 2025 may be no different. How $20 trillion in U.S. liquidity—and $350 trillion globally—could overwhelm silver supply. Lessons from the 1980 and 2011 silver spikes—and why this bull run is stronger. What delivery failures could mean for $80, $100, or even higher silver prices.
