I'm the son of immigrant parents who came to America from a small country in West Africa in search of a better life. At an early age, I realized how lucky I was to have the basic opportunities like a great education and healthcare that several of my relatives didn't have back home.... and it made me feel guilty deep down. I didn't know how, but I decided it was my responsibility to do something with my life to pay my good fortune forward.
