The Crew returns with the final film Andy Sidaris directed. Along with the film we also touch on the Oceangate disaster, submarine tourism, a new charity, and a very special countdown. Buckle up because it's a long episode. L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach debuted in 1998, is rated R, and stars Julie Strain, Rodrigo Obregon, Julie K Smith, Shae Marks, Marcus Bagwell, Cristian Letelier, Carrie Westcott, Paul Logan, Gerald Okamura, Ava Cadell, Carolyn Liu, and Kevin Eastman.
At the start of the show, Tuffy tells a story that would make The Ed proud. Then, we hand out the 3rd Annual Golden Quesadillas, honoring the best movies we've watched over the past year. After that, I expose a Seinfeld conspiracy, and then we watch "Return to Savage Beach," the final Andy Sidaris film.
Acomi and Turk182 celebrate the beginning and ending of an era with bittersweet applause as the L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies movies start their final countdown with Enemy Gold. With Christian Drew "Drew" Sidaris (son of Andy Sidaris) taking over the reins with Enemy Gold and The Dallas Connection - in a not quite torch passing, with Andy returning for the final two films Day of the Warrior and Return to Savage Beach - we say goodbye to some of our old friends. Gone is Donna Speir, Roberta Vasquez, Cynthia Brimhall, and Ava Cadell. Retired or KIA? Their files are classified; so we'll never know. With some new agents, a new director and a smaller crew, consisting of agent Becky Midnite, Mark Austin, and Chris Cannon, the bad guys won't stand a chance! Especially when they find the long lost Confederate army's Enemy Gold. But, can our agents overcome and win the day when the director's boss is secretly working for the enemy? As if that weren't enough, the ruthless and powerful drug lord Santiago, has hired some more cunning and deadly than anyone the agency has faced before? The statuesque, cold-hearted, mercenary Jewel Panther; played by Julie (Jewel-y) Strain. Join Acomi and Turk as they lean into this new direction and bite their nails at the possibility the agents may not survive, and Santiago and Jewel Panther will escape with the Enemy Gold. Come to think of it, the team was very upset when Jewel mentioned how she'd killed some of their agents in the past. Is it possible that's what happened to Donna, Nicole, Edy, and Ava? Note: Excuse Turk for his bad eyesight and poor accounting of windows that were always present, and licence plates that never changed. Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS! During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience. So, cue up the audio, ready the movie, and hit play when we say so. Note: This video is the commentary recorded by Acomi and Turk182. The commentary can be enjoyed on its own, but if you want to experience the Let's Watch! in all its glory, you'll need your own copy of the movie. Most of the movies viewed can be streamed online for free. #OMTWF #KorovaEntertainment #LetsWatch #LW #Acomi #Turk182 #awfulsome #EnemyGold #AndySidaris #DrewSidaris #ChristianDrewSidaris #JulieStrain #LETHALLadies #LethalLadies Follow Acomi on Twitter at @AcomiDraws and on Instagram at AcomiDraws. Return to Savage Beach (1998) is our final trip into the Andy Sidaris universe. Julie Strain and the whole gang is back, including lots of guns, nudity, and exploding RC vehicles. Acomi and Turk182 packed their suitcases with suntan lotion, big guns, and 1970s spy gadgets for another trip to Moloka'i. Another vacation filled with sunbathing, ocean cruises, aerial tours, women blessed with natural and medically enhanced gifts, spies, and overly complicated, simplified plots. That's right, it's time to watch the great Andy Sedaris' fourth espionage thriller, Savage Beach. Featuring most of the same cast from the two previous movies, including some that were killed, Savage Beach take us back to Hawaii and Moloka'i Tours. Once again, Donna and Taryn become drawn into an overly complicated plot, within villains so evil they turn on each other for no reason. No matter, the huge plot holes are filled with DD cup explanations. Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS! Your Stupid Minds returns to sports television pioneer cum b-movie schlock director Andy Sidaris (Hard Ticket to Hawaii) with his 1989 beach babes spy caper Savage Beach. Donna (Dona Speir) and Taryn (Hope Marie Carlson) return to the Sidaris-verse when, after a drug bust and a naked hot tub session, fly to a remote island to deliver medicine to orphans. During the mission, they encounter a storm and have to crash land on a different island, which ends up being the center of an intertwined narrative about recovering hidden World War II era gold while a bevy of other parties—ninjas, Filipino revolutionaries, and the U.S. government—attempt to do the same.

Andy Sidaris once again dials the nonsense up to about 50 and matches that number with topless women. This time the LETHAL team has to deal with some internal double-crossing or triple-crossing, we're very confused on how many crossings happen here. We've seen that a lot of the reviews online for the 4th film in the LETHAL collection (this one proves that Seven is part of the franchise) that this one isn't good. There's no giant snake gimic, not as crazy stunts, and a much crappier version of the Malibu Express. Those points are all correct however, this is still a great time and as far as we can see has only one extreme drawback - the continuing degradation of the Abilene's in quality. Travis Abilene is the worst. He's just scummy. The actor belongs on the bad guy team - not among the coolest guys of all time. He stinks. Picasso Trigger is a lot more complex than the previous three films with a very convoluted plot and that may have been a major shift in how Andy and Arlene made their booby-movies. There may have been too much to get hung-up on and that may have distracted everyone from the formula that worked so well in the previous three. We'll see if the Sidaris ship corrects itself in Savage Beach. With that disclaimer, Picasso Trigger is still a do and one of the best riffers you can pick up.
We're back in for a very special Inaugural 2nd episode of the Extended Hawaii-Verse. After having stepped in it with our episode Savage Beach we're now all in and ready to find out how you could possibly make a 12 movie series out of the following ingredients. 1) Girls 2) Guns and 3) G-Strings. Perhaps one day we will try out a version with 1) Bullets 2) Blondes and 3)Bombshells.... onward we go to bake ourselves a sleaze-soufflé!
Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 40 of our spin-off show about the weird world of softcore skin-flicks! It’s the end of an era, as we take a look at the last of the Sidaris filmography, with Andy’s 1998 swansong L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach. It’s a gigantic, complicated, labyrinthine piece of work: literally minutes of exposition at a time, and an ending that would make the writers of Scooby Doo wonder if they'd gone too far. Plus, all the usual gadgets, remote controlled vehicle explosions and fit-’em-in-where-you-can sex scenes you’ve come to expect from the great man. Is the film a perfect ending to a wonderful career? Well, that’s up for debate, but we do all get a little misty eyed saying goodbye to a great filmmaker. And this time we turn the spotlight on the legendary Shae Marks: Tiger herself! She only did two of Andy’s films, but she made an unforgettable impact, that’s for sure. She was best buds with co-stars Carrie Westcott and Julie Strain, and almost starred in a film written and directed by Julie’s then-husband (and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator) Kevin Eastman called Phasmophobia! Unfortunately it never got off the ground. Goddamn! What a wild ride that would have been! Hey, why not call us on our hotline? (724) 2GO-GO69 or (724) 246-4669!
If you ever saw an Andy Sidaris movie, you knew his style instantly. Heroic women, explosions, wailing guitar, and usually a ninja or two. In this episode, Andrew and Kate check out 2 of the 12 films in the LETHAL Ladies series: 1989's "Savage Beach" and its 1998 sequel, "Return to Savage Beach" starring cult film legend Julie Strain.

If you've seen one Andy Sidaris movie you've seen them all. That being the case, we were legitimately confused if we had seen this movie before. The results were inconclusive. Regardless we end out Summer series with a bang. This movie contains explosions, babes, guns, and would be zombie samurais. Pull up a towel an join us on Savage Beach! Savage Beach (1989) the next review in the line from our old pal Andy Sidaris. This one feels a bit of a misfire, but there’s still some fun to be had. Second half we warn against P.T. Anderson’s The Master but then go all in with next movie in our Bond Marathon: License to […]
