Angelo Gingerelli has been a strength and conditioning coach for two decades and has worked with youth, collegiate and professional athletes. Gingerelli's background in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting combined with his academic pursuits provided him with a solid background to work with traditional power sport athletes but was lacking when it came to training athletes specializing in longer-duration activities for the first decade of his coaching career. In 2010, he began running road races and ran his first marathon in 2011, where he promptly caught the “marathon bug” and has since run several similar races.
