Verlust, Schmerz und Rache: Wir reden nun noch einmal komplett über die 2. Staffel von THE LAST OF US. Mit anderen Worten: Die Spoiler-Gefahr ist so hart wie ein Golfschläger, der einen Schädel zertrümmert. Doch diesmal gehen wir es ein wenig anders an. Denn Alwin, Matthias und Schröck haben sich mit Antje noch eine weitere Perspektive hinzu geholt, die noch nicht eine Sekunde des Spieles gespielt hat und demnach völlig ahnungslos und unbeeinflusst an die Serie rangehen konnte. Sind manche Entscheidungen wirklich so schwer nachvollziehbar, wenn die Spiele völlig unbekannt sind? War es wirklich so dumm, die Handlung des zweiten Games so umzugestalten? Und kann die Show dennoch zu Boden schlagen oder Tränen rühren, obwohl die Charaktere nicht vorher schon für 30 bis 60 Stunden gespielt wurden? All dies und mehr wollen wir heute zu Viert besprechen und erörtern, um dann im Anschluss daran noch mal kurz zu Dritt über die Zukunft der Serie zu fabulieren und wie es nun anhand von Gerüchten, Fakten und eben Spielkenntnissen weiter gehen könnte. Dabei ist Antje dann nicht mehr dabei, da wir ihr den Spaß natürlich nicht verderben oder zu viel Drama vorweg nehmen möchten. Und wir hoffen natürlich, dass ihr ebenfalls deutlich mehr Spaß als Drama mit dieser Besprechung haben werdet. Es soll dann aber auch nicht die letzte gewesen sein - so viel ist uns allen ja nun sicher. In diesem Sinne: Egal was passiert, man findet immer irgendwas, wofür es sich zu kämpfen lohnt. NEW FORMAT TEST!YO! AJ HERE! It's been a while! I've been thinking about ways to utilize the Directly to You channels in a way that will help grow Re:Direct as a whole and one of the ways I landed on was to start to upload them on the podcast feed & see if it resonates with people while HOPEFULLY not cannibalizing the main bread & butter.HERE'S WHAT I'M THINKING! Every week I (mostly) I upload scripted videos to YouTube in a video essay format - these videos are definitely enhanced with the visual context but they don't necessarily NEED to be consumed in this way so they would be a good fit here.In addition to that, I stream (at least) 3 times a week on Twitch. These streams vary in format and in topic & to be fully transparent in use case. Namely, I started a retrospective series where I am playing through the main series Pokemon games on stream to see if they aged well enough to validate the notion of "Game Freak getting lazy) with the end goal of consolidating that experience and my thoughts on each game into a hybrid format of a stream cutdown, a video review, & a standard Re:Direct video essay. THESE STREAMS do not make sense to upload here because it's a mix of me talking about the game(s) and a bunch of other stuff you need the video and the chat to have context to AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY paid members get access to that sort of ancillary content for main channel videos. Shane Goldmacher writes that Democrats “are still searching for the path forward”—noting that the party spent $20 million studying their “erosion” of support with “young men” specifically. In another article, Goldmacher—alongside June Kim and Christine Zhang—evaluate “how Donald Trump has remade America's political landscape.” They document that 435 counties across the country became more “Democratic” from 2012 and 2024—however, 2,678 counties became more “Republican.” Further complicating matters is the 2030 census which is expected to cause comfortably blue states to lose electoral votes as citizens move to red states.
