La Surah al-Anfal, nota anche come “Il bottino di guerra”, è l'ottavo capitolo del Corano. Questa Surah fu rivelata a Medina ed è composta da 75 versetti. Il capitolo tratta principalmente della battaglia di Badr, che ebbe luogo tra i musulmani di Medina e la tribù Quraysh della Mecca. La Surah inizia sottolineando l'importanza della fede, dell'obbedienza e dell'unità tra i credenti. Evidenzia l'importanza di prepararsi alla battaglia e di mantenere la fermezza di fronte alle avversità. Il capitolo tratta anche della distribuzione del bottino di guerra e dell'importanza della giustizia e della carità. La Surah al-Anfal descrive gli eventi che portarono alla battaglia di Badr, compresi i preparativi fatti da entrambe le parti. Narra come i musulmani ottennero la vittoria nonostante fossero in inferiorità numerica e di equipaggiamento, sottolineando che il successo deriva dal sostegno di Dio e dalla fede dei credenti. Il capitolo tocca anche i temi del perdono, della misericordia e della riconciliazione. Incoraggia i credenti a cercare la pace e a evitare conflitti inutili. Sottolinea l'importanza di sostenere i valori morali anche in tempo di guerra. Alle paralimpiadi di Tokyo2020 è stata una delle tante punte vincenti di una Nazionale azzurra di nuoto che ha riportato a casa la bellezza di 39 medaglie in totale. E dire che per Giulia terzi a 26 anni, quelle in Giappone sono state le prime gare a cinque cerchi della carriera. Sesionaron ayer por primera vez las dos comisiones parlamentarias pre-investigadoras de denuncias sobre el Ministerio de Turismo. Ambas tienen su origen en las denuncias de un jerarca colorado del ministerio contra su jefe, correligionario y ahora exministro de la cartera Germán Cardoso por compras directas presuntamente irregulares. El Frente Amplio exige investigar la gestión de Cardoso y este, que ahora es diputado, reclama que se investigue también las dos administraciones anteriores del ministerio, es decir, las del Frente Amplio. Las dos comisiones preinvestigadoras definirán hoy por mayoría simple si recomiendan al pleno de la cámara crear una, dos o ninguna investigadora. Los dos grupos que iniciaron su tarea están integrados por los mismos tres legisladores: Cecilia Bottino, del Frente Amplio; Álvaro Dastugue, del Partido Nacional, e Iván Posada, del Partido Independiente. Las preinvestigadoras recibieron ayer a quienes ofician de denunciantes que son el diputado frenteamplista por Maldonado Eduardo Antonini y el diputado colorado y ex ministro de Turismo Germán Cardoso. Cardoso manifestó ayer en conferencia de prensa que su “olfato político” le indica que “existe una clara estrategia del Frente Amplio para tratar de destruir” su “reputación”. Today’s guest is Carolynn Bottino.  After working with more than 100 bookkeeping clients, Carolynn was inspired to empower to people to find joy in their relationship with money. Carolynn is an author, speaker, and the founder of the Money Empowerment Project. She is passionate about helping women business owners and soulpreneurs become BFFs with their money. Here’s a glimpse of our conversation: (02:12) So I would say for me the seasons of life, it's just the natural flow of what happens for us. So we're always growing and we're always evolving. And by staying aware of where we are in that journey, I feel like it really gives us the power to shift and change and transform in a way that we're able to create what it is that we want in our life most. And so to me, the seasons of life is just a reminder that every moment in our life is important, but it might give us different perspective depending on which side of that season we're on. (06:27) A lot of the questions I was asking myself, what do I like to do? What are my skill sets? How can I be of service? If I need to make money and fill this financial gap now that I was fired, what should I do to fill that gap? And out of that was born All The Details Consulting, which is my event planning and bookkeeping business. And, yeah, it was this amazing experience of having the rug pulled out from under me and really kind of rising to the occasion. And that's where it all started. (08:25) And so some common beliefs that people have are, I have to work really hard or I'm not very good with money or a lot of people in the spiritual world are, I just want to help people. I shouldn't accept money for this spiritual work. And, you know, all of those are very limiting beliefs that keep us from our full potential and so much of our ability to receive money and receive everything that the universe wants to send our way can be blocked by those limiting beliefs. (25:17) Definitely. I would say money is energy. And I also say that money is infinite because as we exchange it, it just regenerates and multiplies just as I was explaining that circle of, you know, the people that I interacted with, it regenerates every time. And so as we spend, it regenerates and it multiplies. (27:26) I was actually thinking about this question earlier, and there's so many, I have some resources in the back of my book, but the one that really is jumping out at this very moment is The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life by Lynne Twist. It is probably my favorite money book of all time. And it is not just about money. It's really about this exchange between people as well. El Celeste había ganado 3 a 2 en la ida en la Mesopotamia argentina, luego perdió 2 a 1 en casa y se impuso 3 a 1 por penales en una brillante jornada del arquero José Mancinelli. Gastón Bottino marcó los tres goles en el partido inicial y rememoró los mejores momentos de aquella serie, que quedó marcada en la memoria de los hinchas de la entidad de Avenida España. Her characters are part self-reflection and almost mythical, fairy-tale-esque figures, and have a unique quality of being grotesque and salacious, comic book-like yet autobiographical. Author of "The Canker DeathJames R. Bottino is a self-admitted computer geek and a creative writing teacher rolled into one. He earned a BS in English Education from Illinois State University and taught high school English in a suburb of Chicago for several years. After teaching all day, he studied creative writing in graduate school at Northern Illinois University. All the while, though, in the deep corners of the night, when no one was looking, he led a double life hacking and building computers and networks. Eventually, unbeknownst to him, word of his activities leaked out, and employment offers started coming in. In the end, he switched his hobby with his profession and became a senior computer / networking administrator for a scientific research laboratory. Just six months into this position, however, tragedy struck when, at the age of 31, James was diagnosed with cancer. Given ten to one odds of living out the year and knowing that his infant daughter would never remember him if he died, he began the fight of his life, enduring massive doses of chemotherapy that killed the cancer but nearly killed him as well

James R. Bottino is a self-admitted computer geek and a creative writing teacher rolled into one.  He earned a BS in English Education from Illinois State University and taught high school English in a suburb of Chicago for several years.  After teaching all day, he studied creative writing in graduate school at Northern Illinois University.  All the while, though, in the deep corners of the night, when no one was looking, he led a double life hacking and building computers and networks. After years of struggle, he survived, but only after enduring systemic nerve damage from the treatments that left him permanently photophobic, phonophobic and with frequent difficulty in using his hands.  These events focused his efforts and helped him to prevail in his dual goals: being a father to his daughter and completing his first novel, The Canker Death It's an adventure story about a reclusive, cynical computer geek who finds that one of his own servers has been cracked late one night and gets far more than he bargained for when he decides to track down the perpetrator.  What his search uncovers thrusts him, unaware, into a mad shifting between worlds, time and alien minds.
