In this episode of the MX3 Podcast, we dive into a powerful and often overlooked issue—why our schools, communities, and even our government fail to properly honor Veterans Day. We challenge the culture of lip service, explore the real origins of the holiday, and call out the disconnect between public institutions and the sacrifices made by those who served. We also break down the history behind November 11th, how the holiday evolved, and why most Americans don't know the meaning behind the “11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.” This conversation is direct, motivating, and a reminder of why our rights—including the right to vote—exist in the first place.▶️ Visit us at: www.mx3.vip We discuss money, motivation, and events that impact everyday life. His journey is a profound testament to post-traumatic growth. After his military service, Jonathan faced a profound period of darkness, grappling with the physical pain of service-connected injuries, the grief of personal loss, and the isolation that led him to the brink of suicide. His path to healing began with a powerful personal intervention and a transformative period in Costa Rica, where he rediscovered golf not just as a game, but as a therapeutic tool for mental wellness and a catalyst for his new mission. Driven by his own experience, Jonathan founded the Warrior Golf Academy to create the supportive community he found lacking. His vision extends far beyond teaching the golf swing. He is building a comprehensive "technical school" for the golf industry, providing veterans and first responders with the skills and connections to build careers as players, caddies, club managers, and agronomy staff. By focusing on belonging, purpose, and tangible career pathways, Jonathan's work directly combats the isolation that leads to the tragic statistic of "22 a day." Today, Jonathan leads a growing movement from the Academy's home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a certified PGA HOPE instructor and a passionate advocate for leveraging the game's unique disciplines—focus, patience, and incremental improvement—to rewire the mind and heal the spirit. His work ensures that those who have served their country have a welcoming community they can return to, proving that our deepest wounds can indeed become the source of our greatest purpose. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Show (11/03/2025): 3:05pm- Polling data suggests that enthusiasm for Jack Ciattarelli's campaign to be the next governor of New Jersey is at a whopping 91%! Is there similar enthusiasm for Mikie Sherrill? It doesn't seem like it. Over the weekend, former President Barack Obama attended a campaign rally for Sherrill drawing only 3,000 people. Rich notes that a comparable number of Ciattarelli supporters gathered at the Wildwood boardwalk last month—even though there wasn't a former president boosting turnout. 3:30pm- KC Crosbie—Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to preview Election Day in New Jersey. Crosbie believes that if Republican voters get out and vote, Jack Ciattarelli will be the next governor of NJ. 3:40pm- During a discussion with progressive podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen, Bill Maher said of Zohran Mamdani's likely mayoral win: "He definitely has the power and influence to elect JD Vance, or whoever is the Republican candidate next time. It is a walking commercial for the Republican Party, nationally." 3:50pm- New York Governor Kathy Hochul suggested that Zohran Mamdani cannot fund his agenda because she won't agree to massive tax increases. 4:00pm- Congressman Dan Meuser—Representative for Pennsylvania's 9th Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show and reacts to President Donald Trump's big endorsement on Truth Social. Trump wrote: “Congressman Dan Meuser is an America First Patriot who is doing an incredible job representing Pennsylvania's 9th Congressional District! A very successful Businessman, former Secretary of Revenue of Pennsylvania, and now, as U.S. Congressman, Dan has strongly served his Community with a career “loaded up” with accolades and wins. In Congress, he is working hard to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment. Dan Meuser has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” Congressman Meuser also discusses his experience working alongside Mikie Sherill in the House of Representatives—she's no moderate: “I don't really associate with her that much because—what's the point? It's the extremism of the left.” 4:30pm- While appearing on CNN, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was asked if Zohran Mamdani is the future of the Democratic Party? Jeffries said no—and then quickly changed the subject. 5:05pm- State Senator Mike Testa—Republican Whip & Representing District 1 (Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties) in the New Jersey State Senate—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to preview Election Day in NJ. 5:30pm- Kamala Harris's book tour is still unfolding—and it's not going particularly well. She's constantly criticizing Joe Biden, accusing him of making the 2024 election all about himself, and cursing up a storm! Is she attempting to be authentic and likable? It seems to be failing. 6:00pm- California Governor Gavin Newsom continues to defend Joe Biden's performance as president, George Clooney defends his outsized role in replacing Biden as the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate, and former CIA Director John Brennan loses his mind after being confronted about his inaccurate claim that the Hunter Biden laptop was merely Russian disinformation. 6:15pm- Tonight, President Donald Trump is holding a “tele-rally” for Jack Ciattarelli. 6:30pm Penn State Basketball!

In this episode of Talking Sleep, host Dr. Seema Khosla welcomes Dr. Greg Burek, a psychiatrist and former Marine, and Dr. Dmitriy Kogan, associate professor of medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and program director for the sleep medicine fellowship program, to discuss the unique sleep challenges facing military veterans and first responders. The conversation explores how military and first responder training fundamentally changes individuals, creating an "adrenaline-focused" mindset that profoundly impacts their relationship with sleep and health. Dr. Burek provides insider insights into the stages of military service and the concept of "sacrifice" as a unifying characteristic among veterans, while explaining why many veterans may minimize or dismiss their service experiences. The guests introduce the BRAVE program, an innovative initiative designed specifically for military veterans and first responders to address the "invisible wounds of service"—PTSD and TBI—and their complex interactions with sleep disorders. Unlike traditional VA programs, BRAVE takes a specialized approach to understanding how military culture and experiences create unique sleep medicine challenges. The discussion covers critical clinical topics including insomnia management in veterans, the frequent use of clonidine as a treatment option, REM behavior disorder presentations that may differ from civilian populations, and the intricate relationships between PTSD, TBI, sleep-disordered breathing, and nightmare disorders. The experts address whether these sleep disturbances stem from combat trauma, brain injury, or the military experience itself. This episode provides essential insights for healthcare providers treating veterans, including practical approaches to asking about TBI history, understanding military culture's impact on patient care, and recognizing when specialized referrals may be beneficial. Whether you're a sleep medicine practitioner, mental health professional, or healthcare provider serving veteran populations, this episode offers valuable perspectives on culturally competent care for those who have served. Join us for this enlightening discussion that bridges military culture and sleep medicine to improve care for our veterans and first responders.

The blast was life-altering, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Recovery was not a matter of weeks or months, but years of relentless rehabilitation. The injuries he sustained were not just the kind seen on X-rays or in surgery reports. Look for supporting stories about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin . Yet, against all odds, he forged a new mission for himself: becoming a police officer. Stepping Into Another Line of Fire, From Combat Injured Military Veteran to Police Officer. Special Episode. When Dexter joined the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), he thought he had already survived the worst. The department, created in 2003 through the merger of the Jefferson County Police Department and the Louisville Division of Police, serves a city with a deep and complex history. Its officers face everything from violent crime to the long shadow of civil rights concerns. But it was not the dangers of the streets that brought Dexter his next life-altering blow. Shortly after beginning his police career, tragedy struck, his mother died unexpectedly. Her death was more than personal loss. It was entwined with the painful reality that she had been a victim of domestic violence, a scourge that affects millions across all ages, and backgrounds. The grief was crushing. Available for free on their website and streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast platforms. Surviving Death and Trauma In his own words, Dexter has described the dual battles of his life: the physical wounds from war and the emotional wounds from loss. The combination could have ended his career, or worse. Instead, he learned to build systems for mental and emotional resilience. From Combat Injured Military Veteran to Police Officer. Special Episode. “I had to make a choice,” he has said in interviews. “I could drown in my pain, or I could use it to help others.” Sharing the Mission Dexter's experiences are now the backbone of his advocacy work.
