Infinity: The Hunt has ended, and now we are left with the cleanup...and this miniseries. The reaction to Thanos's invasion, by the Inhumans, was to unleash clouds of Terrigen Mist. The reaction by Marvels comics to that event, was to bring us...this mess. So, grab your cell phones, and start posting, because apparently that is the future. You may be looking at this book, and after the prior series, you are hoping for a nice, simple story. Maybe something about the friends, we made along the way, or an exploration into teams working with one another. Dating possibly. Maybe some shared cookouts. That would be nice. Just people hanging out, chatting about stuff. Maybe a fun little nautical pirate story. Who knows? The world is the writer's oyster. NO! You do not get nice things. You must get out all of your social media handles and blog post about everything because that is the world we live in!!! And be sure to post about your most disgusting thing so the whole world knows about it. Get in that bathroom! Snap a picture of your garbage! Embarrass your family! DO IT!!! Also, make sure you get a bunch of super-heroes to come and help you out. Make sure that they are running away from emergency and disaster response scenarios to help you and your little problem. It is ok, you have superpowers and that makes you better than other people. Now, wait a minute. Talking about feelings and working through problems is a good thing, and we should be recognizing when talking and listening to people helps resolve problems. We should be emotionally available for people. Except for rage filled, pre-teen, younger brothers. They are the worst. But you should read the book. Or....whatever. My guest today is Thanos Diacakis, Software Delivery Coach & a Fractional CTO.We covered a wide range of topics that included:Insightful Experiences: Thanos shared many insightful and thought-provoking experiences and perspectives, particularly on software delivery life cycle improvements without explicitly using terms like Kanban Balancing Work and Personal Life: Thanos emphasized the importance of balancing work and personal life, recognizing that while work is important, personal relationships and leisure activities are equally significant.Fractional CTO Business: Thanos discussed the benefits of running a fractional CTO business, allowing for flexibility in managing time and delivering value to multiple clientsScaling Challenges: Thanos shared experiences with scaling projects, particularly with Uber's bikes and scooters, highlighting the importance of having systems in place to manage growthLearning from Others: Thanos emphasized the value of learning from others and cross-pollinating ideas across different clients to improve software delivery Thanos Diacakis helps startups and growing companies overcome software bottlenecks, scale engineering teams, and deliver high-quality products faster. With over 25 years in software development, his background spans both early-stage ventures and tech giants like Uber and Included Health, where he led the technical integration of the JUMP Bikes acquisition, scaling the platform to 45k vehicles and over 2 million monthly trips. He's seen elite teams stall when outdated processes leave them too heads-down to course-correct. Join us as we dive into the epic Heroes Reborn saga from Marvel Comics, covering both the iconic 1996-1997 event and the bold 2021 reimagining! In the 1996 storyline, Marvel outsourced titles like *Avengers* and *Fantastic Four* to Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld, with Franklin Richards creating a pocket universe to save heroes from Onslaught, leading to a controversial yet sales-boosting reboot. Fast forward to 2021, Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness deliver a fresh *Heroes Reborn* where the Avengers never existed, and the Squadron Supreme rule as Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Follow Blade, the only one aware of the altered reality, as he unravels a mystery tied to Mephisto and the Pandemonium Cube, facing foes like Dr. Juggernaut and Thanos with his Infinity Rings. We'll explore key moments, tie-in books, and the mixed reception of both eras, from Liefeld's infamous Captain America art to Aaron's ambitious alternate universe. The one where Green Blooded Bastard watches Sinners. It's a pretty solid movie and it sure is better than that shitty Navy Seals V Demons, but that goes without saying. Ryan Coogler has big dick energy in this film.

This week, we roll up on the porch with Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, and the crew to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the stoner hood comedy classic Friday. Craig just got fired on his day off, Smokey smoked the whole stash, and Big Worm wants his money—or bullets will fly. Thankfully, former Blockbuster besties Danielle and Jackie are joined by their cousin Marc to break down every hilarious moment. From cereal sadness and toilet talks with dad to the unmatched chaos of Deebo rolling through like the neighborhood Thanos, it's all good in the '90s hood. The squad also deep dives deep into Chris Tucker's improv magic, Ice Cube's sneaky social commentary, and why every Black neighborhood has a Felicia, a Miss Parker, and a dude who's always “between jobs.” It's part stoner analysis, part family reunion, and 100% iconic.·Season 5 Episode 2·—No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com909-601-NMLF (6653)—Follow Us on Social:Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefeesYoutubehttps://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitterhttps://x.com/NoMoreLateFees —CONQUERingmyconquering.com10% Off Code: JACKIE10—NostaBeautyhttps://nostabeauty.com 20% Off Code: NMLF—Marc's Previous EpisodesSnootchie Bootchies, it's Marc!https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/snootchie-bootchies-its-marcJay and Silent Bob Strike Backhttps://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/jay-and-silent-bob-strike-backMarc Strikes Back!https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/marc-strikes-back-parenthood-side-hustles-and-matt-damon-cameosEurotriphttps://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/eurotrip

Anyway OUR Lambos are finally packed and as quick as a snap, we're ready to leave South Carolina for good, waving sadly to the fellas from IN/HUMANITY who are all shrugging because they don't know who we are or why we're waving.

In this invigorating episode of Shark Theory, host Baylor Barbee delves into the concept of the "super villain era" as a motivational tool for personal growth and self-confidence. Inspired by the resilient nature and unique qualities of super villains in movies and comics, Baylor explores how adopting an unapologetic identity and pursuing a strong vision can lead to unparalleled achievements in life. Baylor passionately discusses the importance of embracing who you are and being proud of your authentic self. He emphasizes the need for a robust vision, drawing parallels with how super villains often possess a clear, ambitious, and sometimes misunderstood, vision for their future. Through this lens, Baylor encourages listeners to shed societal expectations, challenge the status quo, and adopt a mindset that celebrates bold goals and self-assuredness. By examining the traits of infamous characters like Marvel's Thanos and the Joker from the Batman series, the episode inspires listeners to internalize the confidence and purpose needed to drive their own narratives. Key Takeaways: Embrace an unapologetic identity by being confident in who you are and proud of your authentic self. Develop a clear and ambitious vision, like a super villain, to drive your personal and professional goals. Challenge the status quo and societal expectations to forge your unique path toward success. Learn from unconventional sources and stories to gain fresh perspectives and insights. Publicly commit to bold and ambitious goals to drive accountability and inspire others. Notable Quotes: "That's the energy that we have to take into 2025. We have to quit worrying about the opposition." "You have to be genuinely proud of that person in the mirror first and foremost." "Every super villain has some ridiculous vision... they're genuinely passionate about why it is." "The world operates in a land of mediocre, and people hate when you buck the system." "Just because that's how it's always been is not how it's going to be."
