It wasn't until one night, 4 years ago, that that all changed. That was the night he saw a Face-Eater behind his house.  When his dog started barking, he grabbed his AR and headed out the back door. When he stepped outside, he saw that his dog was cowering. After seeing how upset she was, he started looking around. Almost instantly, he saw a huge, dark shape that looked to be well over 10-feet tall that was close to the edge of the woods, looking at him. This time, the Dogman came into her bedroom and was only 6-feet when she woke up and saw him. After what happened that night, Crystal would sneak into her parent's bedroom, at night, and crawl under their bed, so she could sleep there. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Frage, warum bestimmte Titel trotz Interesse nicht auf den Tisch kamen und was sich nach den ersten Partien daran bestätigt oder verändert hat. Als gemeinsamer Rahmen dient ein spielerisches Vorgehen: Zu Beginn wählt jede Person eine Kategorie, die das mitgebrachte Spiel besonders beschreibt, und die anderen versuchen im Gespräch zu erraten, um welchen Titel es geht.Sven eröffnet die Runde mit „Dungeon Up“, einem Print-and-Play-Kartenspiel, das er vor mehr als zwei Jahren über Kickstarter unterstützt hat. Thema ist dabei auch der praktische Teil: Karten müssen zunächst selbst produziert werden, bevor es überhaupt losgehen kann. Inhaltlich dreht sich das Spiel um einen Helden, der sich durch einen Dungeon arbeitet, gegen Monster antritt und versucht, den Ausgang zu erreichen. Aufbau und Mechanismen werden Schritt für Schritt skizziert, sodass nachvollziehbar wird, wie das Kartenspiel seine Spannung aus dem Kampf gegen Gegner und dem Fortschritt im Dungeon bezieht.Steffen bringt „Hamlet“ mit, das bei ihm ebenfalls länger ungespielt blieb. Im Gespräch geht es darum, wie das Dorf im Spielverlauf organisch wächst und warum dabei Logistik und Planung eine zentrale Rolle einnehmen. Neben dem System aus Wegen, Gebäuden und Versorgungsketten werden auch die Produktion und das visuelle Detailniveau angesprochen – ebenso wie die Frage, wie stark sich Mitspielende gegenseitig beeinflussen, wenn das Dorf größer wird und Abläufe ineinandergreifen.Torben ergänzt die Auswahl mit „Forgotten Waters“, einem semi-kooperativen Abenteuerspiel mit Piraten-Thema. Hier steht der Spagat zwischen gemeinsamer Reise und individuellen Zielen im Fokus: Alle arbeiten am Fortschritt der Geschichte, verfolgen aber zugleich persönliche Vorgaben. Thematisiert werden außerdem die App-Unterstützung und die Art, wie Interaktion am Tisch entsteht – gerade dann, wenn Entscheidungen nicht nur den eigenen Charakter, sondern die gesamte Crew betreffen.Im weiteren Verlauf streift die Folge auch Wettspiele und die Dynamik, die dadurch in großen Runden entstehen kann. „Ready, Set, Bet“ kommt als Beispiel dafür auf den Tisch: Live-Wetten, schnelle Entscheidungen und der ständige Blick auf den Rennverlauf sorgen dafür, dass sich Partien stark über die Gruppe definieren. Die Runde ordnet ein, warum solche Spiele besonders dann funktionieren, wenn viele Personen am Tisch sitzen und die Entscheidungen im Takt des Spiels fallen müssen.So entsteht eine Folge, die nicht nur Titel vorstellt, sondern vor allem den Austausch darüber in den Vordergrund rückt, weshalb Spiele liegen bleiben – und was passiert, wenn sie dann doch endlich gespielt werden.

Bruce says the Sasquatch seemed to be more interested in watching him as he was trying to get it to fly than they were in just watching him. Bruce thought they were gorillas. He had no clue what they actually were. It wasn't until his great grandmother sat him down and had a little talk with him that he came to understand what they actually were. The experience he had that day, when he was trying to fly that kite was just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the experiences he's had with Sasquatch. One of the most notable encounters he's had with a Sasquatch happened one night when he was working as a Sherrif's deputy and was on the scene of an accident investigation. That night, he stood feet from a female Sasquatch that had been severely injured, after being hit by a car. Tonight's guest, Dan Schmidt, was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. When Dan was growing up there, he had what could very easily be the most frightening Dogman encounter that's ever been shared on the show. You see, when he was 9-years-old, Dan and his cousin spent the night at his grandma and grandpa's farm, during winter break. The encounter happened the first night Dan and his cousin were there. When it happened, Dan was laying on the couch, in the living room and his cousin was laying on a make-shift bed his grandma had made, on the living room floor. Some time between 1 and 2 AM, Dan was awoken by a noise. Dan realized that it was the sound of the latch on the door to the back porch, of the house, being worked. Then, he heard that door being opened. Next, he heard slow, heavy footsteps walking across the back porch toward the back door of the house. When he heard those footsteps coming toward the back door, he looked at the back door. To his dismay, he then saw its doorknob turn and then the back door slowly open. What happened next was much more than most people would ever be able to handle. He watched a Werewolf walk into the house.
