The Commish injured himself on vacation, Coley gets an unexpected visitor on her lawn, and when exactly should a bar charge you for just water? Plus, the Poxy Boggards bring a bawdy and raucous drinking song for the Song of the Day, and the Commish is mightily buzzed by the end of the show.

Thanks for sharing all the independent artists that make this music!" Brian McReynolds emailed: "I have been listening to your podcast since late 2005. I love the variety of music and love listening to the podcasts. For Christmas I got some Bluetooth headphones and have been listening to the podcast while watching college football bowl games. It has been rather fun watching the action on the field with such great music on instead of listening to the commentary." John Helminski emailed: "Hi Marc, Thanks for your great podcast. Is there one specific show dedicated to Celtic harp music?" Catherine Koehler emailed a reply to my reply: "How providential that you responded tonight...the very night that i was writing YOU, lol. I was at the best pub in Louisiana this weekend, Enoch's Irish Pub and Grill of Monroe, LA, and made sure the podcast was well represented.  I'm sending along a few pics of the podcast sticker that was ceremoniosly placed by Enoch's wonderful daughter Molly .  In her words " we're placing it down low so everyone can see it!"  Fyi...it is in front of everyone who stands in line for the rest room!! We are joined by Adam Liebreich-Johnsen of the world famous Poxy Boggards to discuss minute 67 of The Curse of the Black Pearl. If you remember from the previous episode, Adam is also a member of the Royal French Privateers of Clan Darksail. It’s another robust episode where we explore the pros and cons of the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise including the upcoming Dead Men Tell No Tales, tackle the pitfalls and cruelty of marooning, a love for Gibbs’ storytelling approach, which also provides a potential reason for Captain Jack Sparrow’s unique mannerisms, and we round things out by examining the rumor that Disney is transitioning Jack Sparrow out of the films for a next generation plot and what that would mean for the success of the franchise. Join us for Pirates of the Caribbean Minute. Thank you for listening to this episode of Pirates of the Caribbean Minute! If you enjoyed it, please like and share on Twitter and Facebook. We’d also be VERY grateful if you could rate, review, and subscribe to Pirates of the Caribbean Minute on iTunes. You can also listen and review via Stitcher, Tune In, and Google Play. If you love acoustic Celtic music, you will find no better place to find great Celtic music than at Renaissance Festivals. Yes, I know the Celts had nothing to do with the "Renaissance", but Celtic music is one of the most-popular musical styles found at Ren faires. It's one of the last places where you can find true folk music without electric instruments or drum kits. Today, you'll hear a lot of great Celtic songs and a few tunes from Sarah Marie Mullen, The Poxy Boggards, Kilted Kings, Abby Green, Andrew McKee, The Ravens, 3 Pints Gone, Grey Aengus, Shillelagh!, Celtic Squall, Alabannach, The New Minstrel Revue, Cantiga, Minstrosity, Bounding Main, Lost Boys, Three Quarter Ale. May you and your family have a merry Christmas. In Oz its its starting to warm up, so we'll be escaping to Tasmania for the Cygnet and George Town Folk Festivals. Cheers Vic" Rick wrote: Mark, Earlier this year, my wife and I took a bucket list trip to Scotland and Ireland and England. In preparation for the trip I found your podcast and have been listening ever since. I went to my first Louisiana Renaissance Festival this month and took a side trip up a small rise and found a pair of Celtic musicians playing. I said to myself, that guy sure sounds like Mark Gunn. I later learned that it indeed was you, but could not return to find you as I was busily engaged in watching grandchildren at the fest. I enjoyed your set and enjoy the podcast very much.
