It's Episode 750 and we didn't plan anything special, but there is some reminiscing about the past of this show and another show I did ten years ago where everyone laughed at me for thinking people would spend their Friday nights watching other people playing video games over the internet. The Twitch audience completed a channel points goal to have a VHS tape stream where I go through some of my old 90's era VHS tapes (both promotional and home movies from E3's of the era) so that will happen on the VOGNetwork Twitch channel at some point this month. I checked out the March PlayStation Plus game for PS5 Maquette, a first person puzzle game that seems like it should be clever but sometimes is just frustrating. The Sinking City, a Lovecraft-based adventure game, has been DMCA'd off of Steam by its developer after its former publisher decompiled the game from another storefront, removed some splash screens, and uploaded a new version of it without the developer's consent. Alguien incluyó una bola y poco después propulsores. Incluso se dieron cuenta que podían empujar la bola e incluso volar por el escenario. Revela que Sony habró comillas “se podría usar cualquier objeto pasivo no luminoso sostenido por un usuario" El funcionamiento se haría por una cámara que detectaría los píxeles, contornos y colores al ser sostenidos por las manos de los usuarios. Y que ellos publicaron el juego en Steam sin mencionar a Nacon siquiera. Parece que esto va para largo y seguirán de juicio en juicio. In the wake of the Nintendo Pokémon Direct and PlayStation State of Play, things have understandably gotten a little quieter. Don’t worry though, for we still have interesting gaming news to chat about in this episode and we’re putting a few recent releases in the spotlight, like Under the Jolly Roger and GraviFire. The Outriders ‘demo’ is also causing a stir, so be sure to tune in to TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 70. This week, Richard returns alongside James and Gareth, with general musings kickstarting the episode. Additionally, the Aliens: Fireteam announcement caught their attention, weighing up its potential to be a success where others have failed. THE PROBLEM WITH LOVECRAFT: A lot of controversy was had (mostly on Twitter) over the last few weeks with the release of Evil Hat Productions' Fate of Cthulhu, a new table-top RPG integrating the systems of Evil Hat's Fate Core and the Lovecraft mythos. Evil Hat proudly declared that it was bucking tropes of other Lovecraft-inspired games––mainly how it addresses Lovecraft's prejudices head-on and it doesn't include sanity meters for its players––and that, for some reason, made a lot of people upset. Andrew talks about the subsequent furor while D. Bethel shows up as our resident Lovecraft scholar. The Sinking City“ ist kein gewöhnliches Game. In den letzten fast 20 Jahren haben sich die Entwickler von Frogwares ja hauptsächlich mit Sherlock-Holmes-Detektivspielen einen Namen gemacht - acht Stück haben die Jungs aus Kiew da inzwischen produziert. Jetzt wagen sie sich auf neues Terrain und mischen ein Detektivspiel mit etwas Horror: Holmes meets Lovecraft also. Da Frogwares die offizielle Lovecraft-Lizenz fehlte, nennen sie das dann „inspiriert von Lovecraft“ - und das merkt man wortwörtlich an jeder Straßenecke.
