Wäre es nach seinem Vater gegangen, dann wäre Hubert Wallner heute Polizist. Glücklicherweise entschied sich der gebürtige Oberösterreicher aber gegen eine Karriere im öffentlichen Dienst und absolvierte die Hotelfachschule. Seine ersten Gastro-Erfahrungen machte der heutige Erfolgsgastronom im elterlichen Hotel Grüner Baum. Seinen kulinarischen Feinschliff holte er sich bei seinem Freund und Mentor Martin Sieberer im Trofana Royal. Weil ihm das südliche Flair mehr liegt als die Alpen, übersiedelte Hubert Wallner 2010 nach Kärnten und eröffnete das „See Restaurant Saag“. Damit feierte er große Erfolge: Vier Hauben und 18 Punkte im Gault Millau, Rolling Pin-Koch des Jahres 2019 sowie die Auszeichnung zum Gault-Millau-Koch des Jahres 2020 sind nur einige davon. Nachdem das Saag Anfang 2021 schloss, eröffnete Wallner im Juni desselben Jahres sein neues Megaprojekt: Einen Fine-Dine-Gourmettempel der absoluten Spitzenklasse, sein „Gourmet Restaurant Hubert Wallner“ in Maria Wörth. Damit sicherte sich Wallner innerhalb kürzester Zeit erneut die kulinarische Pole-Position in ganz Kärnten: 18.5 Punkte im Gault Millau und viele weitere Auszeichnungen machen sein neues Restaurant zu einem der besten des Landes. Die Frau und der Mond – sie haben von jeher eine enge Beziehung, schon wegen des weiblichen Monatszyklus. In den romanischen Sprachen ist «der» Mond weiblich und mit «Luna» zudem eine Göttin gemeint. Aber auch in Judentum, Christentum und Islam spielt der Mond eine wichtige Rolle. Das Christentum machte Maria sogar zur Himmelskönigin, symbolisiert durch eine Mondsichel zu ihren Füssen. In Judentum und Islam gilt bis heute der Mondkalender und bestimmt so den Jahr­festkreis. So zelebrieren etwa jüdische Feministinnen den «Neumond» mit einer Frauenfeier. Als wichtiges Symbol im Islam prangt die Mond­sichel auf vielen Moscheen oder ziert Flaggen muslimisch geprägter Länder. Swedish composer and electronic musician Maria W Horn is our guest at Nuts And Bolts gear-talk podcast, episode #2.  Horn works immersively with electronics; her main weapon of choice, Supercollider, is but one of many software and hardware tools that she interacts and experiments with to create and manipulate her compositions. From mechanical electronic beats to multidisciplinary installations, to textural conceptual works, Horn lets us in on some of her techniques and thoughts about gear. Every year Berlin's foremost “petri dish” of contemporary electronic, digital and experimental music takes place at the CTM festival. This year CTM celebrated its 20th anniversary, exploring the theme of “Persistence” with a jam-packed 10-day program of concerts, club nights and performances. One of the artist at this year's festival was Swedish composer Maria W Horn, who in her recent album Kontrapoetik investigates, both personally, historically and sonically the turmoiled past of her home region Ångermanland in the north of Sweden. A place that was once the site of Sweden's largest documented execution of women accused of witchcraft. We met up for a talk about her past and present, and counter-reading in a satanic feminist sect…

La fête de la Pentecôte commémore le don du Saint-Esprit aux personnes présentes et aux disciples de Jésus, qui se mirent à parler dans toutes les langues connues de l’époque. A cette occasion, le culte est célébré en allemand, romanche et en italien, les langues officielles du canton des Grisons. La construction de l'église St. Margarethe date du XIIIème siècle. L’édifice a été détruit en 1483 lors d’un terrible incendie qui a ravagé toute la ville. Sa reconstruction en 1518 lui a lui conféré son empreinte actuelle néo-gothique. La petite ville d’Ilanz a joué un rôle prépondérant dans l’histoire de la Réforme. A côté de Davos et de Chur, Ilanz fut en effet au 16ème siècle un lieu de rassemblement de l’Assemblée fédérale des Trois Ligues. Avec les "Articles d’Ilanz" de 1524 et 1526, les Trois-Ligues, en tant qu’Etat autonome, se dotèrent de leur propre législation, permettant notamment aux communes de nommer et de destituer les desservants de leur église et d’adopter la Réforme sur une base légale. C’est pour cela qu’Ilanz a récemment été nommée "Ville européenne de la Réforme". Le culte est présidé par le pasteur Jan-Andrea Bernhard et la pasteure Maria Wüthrich.
