In this thrilling episode, we delve into the mysterious world of The Shadow, who investigates the ghostly appearances of Sir Roger Mathis in a small New England town. As the village grapples with the implications of opening an ancient meeting hall to the public, a series of murders linked to the ghost raises the stakes. The Shadow, alongside his companion Margo Lane, uncovers dark secrets, confronts the ghost, and ultimately faces a deadly adversary determined to protect the village's traditions at any cost.Introduction: In a quaint New England town, the peaceful nights were shattered by a series of mysterious murders, all seemingly linked to the ghost of Sir Roger Mathis. As the village clock struck nine, the eerie footsteps echoed through the ancient graveyard, leading to a chilling discovery that would unravel a tale of vengeance and spectral justice. The Ghostly Apparition: The legend of Sir Roger Mathis, the first governor of the colony, had long been a part of the town's folklore. His grave, untouched for over 200 years, became the epicenter of fear when villagers reported sightings of a ghostly figure clad in knee breeches and a powdered wig. The apparition, resembling a death mask, declared its return to save the village from its sinful ways, leaving a trail of death warrants signed by Sir Roger himself. The Investigation: Lamont Cranston, known as The Shadow, and his companion Margo Lane, delved into the mystery, uncovering a sinister plot. The victims, all proponents of opening the old meeting hall to the public, were found clutching ancient death warrants. The investigation led them to Silas Crossman, a staunch opponent of the hall's opening, and his nephew Edward, who harbored a deep-seated hatred for his uncle. The Unmasking: In a dramatic confrontation, The Shadow revealed Edward Crossman as the impersonator of Sir Roger's ghost. Driven by revenge, Edward sought to frame his uncle for the murders, igniting a fire that threatened to consume the entire hall. The Shadow's timely intervention saved the day, bringing Edward to justice and restoring peace to the village. Conclusion: The haunting of Sir Roger's ghost serves as a reminder of the power of legends and the darkness that can lurk within human hearts. As the town rebuilds, the story of Sir Roger will continue to echo through the ages, a testament to the enduring battle between good and evil.Subscribe Now: Stay tuned for more thrilling tales and uncover the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. Who Wins Brady Versus Belichick The Dynasty Debate From Gary Myers

A unique and unparalleled look into the nature and relationship of two of the pillars of the NFL's greatest dynasty, the 2001-2018 New England PatriotsThere can be doubt, the greatest dynasty in NFL history stood on two pillars: Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. That is indisputable. Together they forged a working relationship that provided thrilling results that would change the game forever and provide a two-decade-long winning culture not likely to ever be repeated. In those twenty years they helped New England to nine Super Bowls, winning six. But who is/was most responsible? The greatest coach/GM in NFL history? The greatest quarterback (perhaps, greatest player regardless of position) in NFL history? New York Times bestselling author Gary Myers takes the deepest dive yet into a debate that rages to this day in his new book, BRADY vs. BELICHICK: The Dynasty Debate (St. Martin's Press, On Sale September 16, 2025, $31.00).What was the nature of their amazing relationship? Mentor and mentee? Superstar and mad scientist? Phenom and master tactician? Or were they equals? In this fascinating book, veteran NFL insider Gary Myers will draw on the incredible access he has to both subjects as well as scores of players, coaches and management officials. Myers has new interviews with Belichick, Devon McCourty, Rodney Harrison, Julian Edelman, Joe Montana, Tom Brady Sr., and scores more. There is also new material from coaching greats Bill Parcells, Jimmy Johnson, Tony Dungy, and former Pats assistant coaches Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel, and executives like Ernie Accorsi and Bill Polian. One of the more revealing and compelling chapters in the book is about New York Jets linebacker Mo Lewis, whose sideline hit on then star New England quarterback Drew Bledsoe in 2001 elevated Tom Brady to starting quarterback.and the rest is history. To this day, many fans and haters of New England's success blame Lewis' hit on starting the Patriots dynasty, and Lewis, in the book, doesn't hide his bitter feelings about being tagged with that. In BRADY vs. BELICHICK, Myers goes well into the numbers, analyzing the psychology and sociology of this partnership using his unique perspective to illuminate the greatest duo that ever graced the sport. And who is the most responsible? There is a surprise ending as the reader will discover.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

#WDRadio WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2025: Giant footprints at 20,000 feet, ancient Tibetan warnings, and mysterious disappearances in the mountains—the Yeti isn't just a legend. There are centuries of encounters from the Himalayas to Siberia, including evidence that made even skeptics into believers, with connections to unexplained phenomena that challenges everything we thought we knew about the Abominable Snowman.==========HOUR ONE: Is it possible that in 1927 we picked up signals from an artificial satellite sent to our planet by an extraterrestrial intelligence? Some believe the evidence is overwhelming. (Mystery of the Alien Satellite) *** When a great famine struck Europe in 1314, mothers abandoned their children and in some cases, even ate them. Could this be the gruesome beginnings of the story we know as Hansel and Gretel? (The Grimm Reality Behind Hansel and Gretel) *** But first… I doubt there's a single person over the age of twelve living in the modernized world that hasn't at least heard of Bigfoot. A large portion of them have probably heard it's other name – Sasquatch – as well. But far fewer are familiar with his even more reclusive Siberian cousin: the Russian Bigfoot that's we've come to know as the Yeti, or more fondly… the Abominable Snowman. We'll begin with that story! (Why They Call This Snowman Abominable)==========HOUR TWO: Ever heard of Shadrack Ireland? No, it's not a place – it's a person, actually. A preacher – and one of the most bizarre religious leaders ever to walk the soil of New England. And as strange as his religious practices and teachings were – his death was just as crazy. (The Perfect Man) *** Lisa woke up to find her boyfriend staring at her. When she asked him what was wrong, he replied, “I'm going to kill you and drink your blood.” Is it possible that the film, “Interview With The Vampire” made Daniel Sterlin turn into a real-life bloodthirsty monster? (Interview With The Wannabee Vampire) *** Gerald Foos built a secret passageway in his motel – not to smuggle drugs or store weapons, but so he could spy on his motel guests having sex. And it gets even creepier than that. (Peeping Tom Motel) *** A family loses two children by apparent poisoning… and then the mother's death two months later under the same mysterious circumstances. Obviously there was a murderer living amongst the family, or somewhere in the town. Wasn't there? (The Mystery of the Garrett Family's Tragic Deaths)==========SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME: In 1938, stories of a "killer ghost" began to be told in eastern Kentucky. Even though no one ever saw this malevolent apparition, it was said to have caused five very similar and unexplained deaths. HEADLINE: Erikson, Sagas, and Vinland Location BOOK TITLE: American Vikings: How the Norse Sailed into the Lands and Imaginations of America AUTHOR: Martyn Whittock 100 WORD SUMMARY: The source focuses on the westward journey from Greenland, established by Erik the Red, to lands sighted by storm-driven sailors. His son, Leif Erikson, led expeditions around 1000 AD to Helluland (Baffin Island) and Markland (Labrador). This history is recorded in the Saga of Erik the Red (13th century) and the Saga of the Greenlanders (14th century). They reached a land they called Vinland, described as having wild grapes and wheat, suggesting a mild climate and abundant timber. The small population in Greenland ultimately hindered sustained settlement. Based on where wild grapes (like the fox grape) and wheat grow, Vinland must have been located significantly further south than Newfoundland, possibly reaching New Brunswick or New England.

Hurray's Girl Beer isn't just another craft brand. It's a calculated rebellion against an industry stuck in the past. In this episode, Hurray's founder Ray Biebuyck joins Taste Radio editor Ray Latif and Brewbound managing editor Jess Infante to share her vision for a beer brand that doesn't just challenge convention, it openly mocks it. Witty, unapologetic, and intentionally unorthodox, Hurray's markets flavored light beers, including Pineapple Yuzu and Blueberry Lavender varieties, crafted not to honor tradition, but to disrupt it. The brand's satirical, female-forward positioning flips the script in a category that has long overlooked nearly a third of its audience: women. Ray discusses how Hurray's draws more from stand-up comedy than legacy brewing playbooks, using humor and irreverence as tools for connection, and conversion. She also reveals how this disruptive approach is translating into real-world traction, with Hurray's on track to reach over 3,000 retail locations, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, BevMo, Total Wine, Sprouts, and Walmart, by Q1 2026. Show notes: 0:25: Interview: Ray Biebuyck, Founder & CEO, Hurray's Girl Beer – Ray traces her roots back to New England and her early career in the corporate world, with stints at J.P. Morgan and WeWork after graduating from college in New York City. She discussed how, at the onset of the pandemic, she stepped in to support operations for a local beverage alcohol brand and recognized a gap in the market: a disconnect between male-dominated beer branding and female consumers. Ray eventually launched Hurray's Girl Beer in 2024 and shares the uphill journey of pitching a new beer brand in a male-dominated, slowing market, and how she carved out a niche by courting an underserved audience. She recalls self-distributing cases out of a Toyota Camry to landing shelf space in 200 retail doors across Los Angeles and Orange County and how Girl Beer secured distribution at Whole Foods, BevMo, and Total Wine. Ray also details the pivotal relationship with an Anheuser-Busch-aligned distributor, which accelerated growth and expanded reach and why she believes the brand is on track for a breakout year in 2026. Brands in this episode: Hurray's Girl Beer, Shacksbury Cider, Woodchuck Cider, Magic Hat, Ben & Jerry's, Seventh Generation, Green Mountain Coffee, Poppi, Olipop, Liquid Death, Garage Beer, Surfside, Budweiser, Bud Light, Golden Road, Elysian, Busch, Heineken, White Claw, Truly, Bud Light Seltzer, Michelob Ultra, Friday Beers

Andy and Brendan have PLENTY to talk about after a full, buzzing Saturday at the Ryder Cup despite the blowout on the scoreboard. They jump immediately into the testy exchange between Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Rose, caddies, Francesco Molinari, and others during another winning afternoon for Europe. They dissect Keegan's miscues with lineups and management but wonder if it would have mattered given Europe's play. They also go into the extremely hostile crowds, the constant abuse of Rory McIlroy and the opponent, and discuss how bad it got out there and how much it crossed the line. KVV and LaMagna join late to relay some of their notes from their days inside the ropes before a rambling discussion on Russ Henley, Rose, New England sports analogies, and much more in this rollicking Saturday night episode.
