Self awareness... psychic awareness... we all have that gut instinct and sometimes it alerts you to detrimental energy in your environment. In this episode, you get an insight into how everyday people use their psychic abilities to alert them to subtle and not-so-subtle changes affecting them in the environment around them. The 3 experiences in this episode share how myself, Amy and Clare's body senses, psychic awareness and understanding of the energy environment around us helped them to contact an energy clearer to solve their two strange, unusual and slightly frightening problems.EXTRA MUSIC: The sorcerer and Midnight in the pine forest by Geoff HarveyIMAGE : Ragdoll image by Nong on Un splashSend us a textTRANSCRIPT AVAILABLE: https://perfectlyparanormal.buzzsprout.com/2126749Click on the link above, choose your episode & click on transcript, enjoy :)LIKE THIS EPISODE? Help NinetyForChill: The #Podcast get away from paywalls by subscribing to "Ninety For Chill: The Podcast with CatBusRuss". In this superhero, mega-budget obsessed world, it is easy to understand the regular movie goer's mindset that if something is cheap, it cannot be good. The feature will definitely not be exciting. Excitement is overrated, but a little heart in direction and a good script can make any five-figure budget worthwhile. Too bad exploitation encourages quick products over quality. CatBusRuss's recent visit to Ally's Accessories Shop on Etsy's "Trash Feature Revue" resulted in him finding "Killjoy", a killer clown, black-exploitation film that was all about taking the cash from any sucker. Thank science that this came as part of the nine-picture "Puppet Master" collection, but it is disheartening that Charles Band lacks quality control over what he puts his name on. And then you have the likes of The Cinema Snob who preaches do not take rip offs of your favorite movies personally. His suggestion that I need to see "Shocking Dark (officially "Bruno Mattei's Terminator 2") proved otherwise. This left our host in a state that maybe he did not know what good no-budget cinema was. Thankfully revisiting Ryan Thompson's "Zombie Apocalypse" and Marc Fratto's "Zombies Anonymous" showed the Cat Bus that there is still plenty of gold to be mined from aspiring filmmakers who cannot afford 4K or 35 mm cameras.

También conocida como "Shocking Dark", esta historia de un grupo de marines enfrentados a terribles criaturas por el subsuelo de Venecia es una obra de culto máximo, estrenada tres años antes que la otra "Terminator 2". This movie definitely has that "Shocking Dark" vibe. They also talk about how Netflix gave Matt a sucker punch, how the podcast is turning into a Pam Grier appreciation show, how flammable school busses and high school entrances are, why there are good actors in this bad movie, the weird mutating cyborg weapons, the bleak punk rock future of 1999, the villain's just desserts, the Robocop television expanded universe, along with a lot more cyborg teacher action!

So dear listeners, what film do the crew watch this week? Well it was Bede's pick and he may never pick again after he unleashed Hell Of The Living Dead (1980) aka Virus aka Night Of The Zombies.Hell Of The Living Dead was directed by Bruno Mattei (with uncredited work by Claudio Fragrasso), and it stars lot's of stock footage, even more stock footage, the worst set of commandos you'll ever see, people painted with clay … oh wait those are zombies … we think … and way too much footage from Nuova Guinea, l'isola dei cannibali (1974).If you have never listened to a commentary before and want to watch the film along with the podcast, here is how it works. You simply need to grab a copy of the film or load it up on Tubi (you may need alcohol), and sync up the podcast audio with the film. We will tell you when to press and you follow along, it is that easy! Because we have watched the films on Tubi, it is a free service and there are ads, however we will give a warning when it comes up, so you can pause the film and provide time stamps to keep in sync.Highlights include:* Welcome to the show Pat!* It's Bede's pick this week … why does he still get picks?* After Night Killer and Shocking Dark it's time to return for more madness from Bruno Mattei and Claudio Fragrasso.* Stock footage, stock footage, stock footage, normal footage, stock footage … * Do the commandos know how to use weapons?* Weakest and slowest zombies ever but they can't escape them? Whaaaaa?* Pat might be too scared to come back …* Will Batch and Marcey ever forgive Bede for this film?* Plus much, much more!Check out The Super Network on Patreon to gain early access to The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast as well as the video version!DISCLAIMER: This audio commentary isn't meant to be taken seriously, it is just a humourous look at a film. It is for entertainment purposes, we do not wish to offend anyone who worked on and in the film, we have respect for you all. Please Visit Our Sponsor For This Episode - SurfShark VPNFollow The Super Network Hosted on Acast. In the future, Venice will be a toxic hellscape of mutant monsters and zombie-like crazies with guns. But not to worry. Megaforce, the greatest fighting team ever assembled, is here to protect what I believe to be an abandoned power plant. Many mutants will be dispatched, many dummies will be thrown over railings, and many copyrights will be infringed. In fact, for more information about the plot and dialog, just go to IMDB and look up the plot to Aliens. It's almost verbatim.  Remember when that middle school class put on production of Aliens, and Sigourney Weaver went and everybody was so enchanted? This is like that, but on a lower budget, and with much worse acting. Oh, and eventually there's a Terminator. So strap on a bunch of little plastic boxes, get on your best chest bursting outfit, and call your copyright lawyer, as Tristan and Matt toss themselves over the power plant railing that is, Shocking Dark.

An emotionally damaged girl who will never mentally age passed five and hides a dark secret... sorta... don't expect a lot of sense in Lady Street Fighter.     What do you get when you mix 9 parts Aliens with three parts Terminator and one part environmental messaging? As Nate would say about the director and the cast, "You can tell it’s a Bruno Mattei movie is because the actors that they hired for these [movies] had the facial expressions that they do and the vocal tones that they do… they don’t match. This week we return to our Year of the Knock Off by talking about one the high points of action and sci-fi cinema, James Cameron's Aliens from 1986, and then we look at 1989's Shocking Dark aka Terminator II aka Alinenators, an Italian film that dares to ask the question: What if we take scenes and dialogue from a much more popular film but shoot them on a budget of 7 dollars?

Sean gives up on life and happiness by subjecting himself and to the Italian-made Aliens/Terminator ripoff Shocking Dark (1989). Borrowing so liberally from James Cameron's films as so we're sure there was a lawsuit involved, a group of soldiers get trapped in a tunnel underneath futuristic Venice where slimy creatures are out to get them. And, there might be a Terminator. And time travel, too. Listen as we analyze the new Halloween trailer! But first, you have to listen to us talk about Italian rip-off artists and the films they've made, all on this week's exciting episode! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

In this weeks episode of Rip Offs Vol 1. We will be looking at 2 movies that blatantly ripped off their predecessors to make a buck. First is “Mahakaal” from 1993 the Bollywood Nightmare on Elm Street rip off that was just too good not to review. Then we jump into a whammy of a rip off by Bruno Mattei who is known for quite a few knocks offs. His inspiration this time? Well, not just one movie but 2 rip offs in ONE! That takes talent. His movie technically called “Shocking Dark” in the states, “Terminator 2” in Italy and of course “Alienator” in Japan. That's right this movie tried to rip from both “Aliens” and “Terminator” to cash in on those big bucks. Plus we talk about the news and create a #horrorshot for “Shocking Dark” that is ... creative.
