EVEN MORE about this episode! What really happens in the final days and hours before we die? And why do so many dying people report seeing deceased loved ones and pets as death approaches?Julie Ryan sits down with certified End of Life Doula and death literacy educator Claire O'Berry for a revealing conversation about what families can expect as someone approaches the end of life—and why understanding the dying process may replace some of our deepest fears with greater peace.Claire walks Julie through her practical two-weeks-out, two-days-out, and two-hours-out framework, explaining the physical and emotional changes that can occur as the body begins its natural dying process. They explore what happens during the final hours, why dying may look very different from what families expect, and how knowing the signs can help loved ones feel less frightened and more prepared. They also dive into some of the most mysterious experiences surrounding death: terminal lucidity, the “death rally,” end-of-life visions, near-death experiences, and reports of dying people seeing deceased family members and beloved pets. Julie and Claire discuss research into these experiences and what they may suggest about consciousness, fear of death, and the possibility that we're not alone as we make the transition.Claire also explains what families often misunderstand about hospice and palliative care, when to begin preparing for the end of life, and why talking about death doesn't have to be frightening or morbid—it can help us live more intentionally while we're still here.Whether someone you love is approaching the end of life, you've witnessed something unexplained at a deathbed, or you've simply wondered what you might experience during your own final moments, this conversation offers a fascinating and reassuring look at one of life's greatest mysteries.Guest Biography:Claire O'Berry is a certified End of Life Doula, death literacy educator, international speaker, and host of the Dying Your Way podcast. Her journey into end-of-life care began in 2005, when she became the primary caregiver for both of her parents during the final six years of their lives, ultimately helping each of them experience a peaceful death at home surrounded by family and friends. Inspired to help others navigate this profound stage of life with greater knowledge and confidence, Claire pursued formal end-of-life training with pioneers Deanna Cochran, Suzanne O'Brien, and Patty Burgess. Today, she teaches individuals and families how to prepare for the end-of-life journey and hosts conversations with experts and individuals sharing personal experiences with death and dying. Claire holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.S.Ed. from the University of North Texas, and is an Advance Care Planning Educator (ACPE), Certified End of Life Doula (CEOLD), and member of the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA).Episode Chapters:(0:00:00) Meet End-of-Life Doula Claire O'Berry(0:02:19) What Really Happens in the Final Moments of Life?(0:04:51) Why Understanding Death Can Remove the Fear(0:14:47) Claire's Near-Death Experiences(0:21:46) Why Are We So Afraid to Die?(0:25:15) Do You Need to Believe in Spirit to See the Other Side?(0:31:52) Why Families Wait Too Long for Hospice(0:38:34) The Physical Signs That Death Is Near(0:56:42) What to Say to Someone Who Is Dying(1:03:00) The Death Rally: Why People Suddenly Get Better(1:05:15) What the Dying See Before Death(1:07:41) How Claire Became an End-of-Life Doula(1:13:13) If Death Is a Transition, Why Are We Here?➡️ Subscribe to Ask Julie Ryan YouTube➡️ Julie's Intuitive Trainings✏️ Ask Julie a Question!

The church didn't begin with human strength—it began with the power of God. Today, we continue our year-long Bible study in the book of Acts. In this episode, Paul walks through the launch of the church at Pentecost, reminding us that when Jesus calls us to His work, He doesn't leave us to do it alone but gives us the presence and power we need to accomplish what He has called us to do.To hear more studies from the book of Acts, visit PaulTripp.com/Acts.

Recover Your Soul: A Spiritual Path to a Happy and Healthy Life
What does it mean to be spiritually awake? I don't believe it means that life suddenly becomes easy or that we stop having painful, complicated, very human experiences. Life is still going to be lifey. For me, awakening is becoming more aware of what is happening inside of me and remembering that I have a choice in how I experience what is happening around me.In this episode, I share a very real situation with my son that gave me an opportunity to practice the Recover Your Soul Process right in the middle of something scary and emotional. Rather than simply talking about the nine steps, I walk through them as I was actually experiencing this situation. What was I feeling? What was I trying to control? What was underneath my reaction? And how could I choose to see it differently? This is what Recover Your Soul has become for me. Not fixing ourselves or getting to a place where nothing ever hurts, but becoming aware of our patterns, beliefs, and stories and learning that we can choose again. In this episode, we explore:• What spiritual awakening looks like in everyday life • Working the Recover Your Soul 9-Step Process through a real-life experience • Releasing control and changing our perception • Recognizing old patterns when they show up • Moving from reaction into awareness and choice • Finding peace without needing everything around us to be peacefulIf you've found Recover Your Soul through Al-Anon, codependency, addiction, people pleasing, or the struggle to let go of control, I hope this conversation gives you a glimpse of where the work can take us.I'm still learning and practicing this right alongside you. Sometimes the moments we never would have chosen become the moments that show us how much we've changed.Take what you need and leave the rest.I'm so grateful you're here.Namaste, Rev. Rachel
In the second part of our study from Ephesians chapter 4, we continue considering the Apostle Paul’s picture of the Christian life as a change of apparel. That is, we should put off the old man and put on the new, replacing our former traits with the behaviors pleasing to Christ. Paul gives us a … Continue reading "A Change of Apparel, Part 2"
What happened to the old world? In JT's Mix Tape Episode 95, JT, Bryan and Aaron go down one of the wildest rabbit holes yet — from the millions of skeletons buried beneath Paris and strange population numbers to destroyed architecture, underground cities, ancient technology and the possibility that our accepted historical timeline is missing something enormous. Then things get even stranger. We get into Tesla “ghosts” appearing in graveyards, Tucker Carlson questioning the destruction of America's beautiful old architecture, Larry Ellison and Oracle appearing in Iron Man 2, frightening advances in technology, AI spirituality, transhumanism, technocratic visions for humanity — and the growing trend of billionaires and celebrities building elaborate underground bunkers. Is technology creating a completely new future?Or, as Ecclesiastes says, is there truly nothing new under the sun?Either way, fear is not the answer. Hold fast to Christ and endure to the end.
There's something about this moment in the year that asks us to look more closely—not only at who we are, but at who is beside us. The people in our lives may be playing a far greater role in our growth, our challenges, and our next chapter than we realize. And there may be something available to you right now that you simply cannot access on your own. This week, we're exploring the hidden power of connection, the surprising places growth can emerge, and what may happen when we stop keeping certain people at a distance. Some opportunities only appear when we're willing to let others in. If you've been trying to figure everything out by yourself, this is an episode you won't want to miss.Join us for the next episode of Weekly Energy Boost with @ElishevaBalas and @EitanYardeni. EVEN MORE about this episode! What happens when you suddenly begin seeing angels—and realize they may have been there all along? Julie Ryan talks with Rebecca Kastl about the extraordinary night a simple journal entry to God triggered a spiritual awakening she never expected—and changed the way she experienced reality.Within days, Rebecca began seeing luminous light around complete strangers, receiving unmistakable guidance from angels, and having dreams that later came true. But what began as wonder eventually led to years of questioning: Was it really Spirit, or was she imagining it all? Then came a frightening carbon monoxide incident—and an experience Rebecca believes was nothing short of angelic intervention.Rebecca and Julie explore Archangel Michael, guardian angels, prophetic dreams, angel numbers, feathers, pennies, “God bumps,” and the subtle ways Spirit may be communicating with us every day. They also discuss why spiritual awakenings can arrive when we least expect them, how to distinguish intuition from imagination, and what happens when we finally stop dismissing the signs.Guest Biography:Rebecca Kastl is a pediatric speech language pathologist, healer, speaker, and teacher who underwent a life-changing Spiritually Transformative Experience (STE) in her twenties while working on healing from childhood trauma. Her STE started when she spontaneously devoted her life to God while writing in her journal. That night she saw a beautiful light that spoke to her, after which she began seeing light inside everyone, having psychic dreams, viewing alternate timelines of her life, feeling how connected we all are, and sensing and communicating with angels. Rebecca is a former total skeptic with Christian, Jewish, and indigenous influences in her family that helped shape her understanding of her experiences. She now speaks about her experiences on podcasts and at conferences and offers her Sacred Soul sessions to clients around the globe. We're often told that we live in a world full of toxic behaviour, but is it the world that's toxic or is it our view of it that gives it a toxic flavor? In this episode, Thom explores the true source of toxicity: the stress we carry that makes us sensitive to the inputs from the outside world. As always Thom has a solution that allows us to remove those stresses and develop the resilience we need to be less disturbed by the forms and phenomena we come into contact with on a day-to-day basis. Send me a messageWe quit on ourselves because we tied our confidence to the finish line. Have you ever stopped to think about how the movies, shows, and online content your children consume may be shaping the way they think, feel, and see the world? For filmmaker, producer, distributor, entrepreneur, and founder Chevonne O'Shaughnessy, that question became personal when she saw the impact a movie had on her own young daughter—and it ultimately helped change the direction of her career. In this powerful inspirational episode, Reginald D sits down with entrepreneur, filmmaker, producer, distributor, mentor, and American Cinema Inspires founder Chevonne O'Shaughnessy for an eye-opening conversation about family-friendly entertainment, faith-based movies, inspirational storytelling, children and media, entrepreneurship, perseverance, women in film, family values, faith, purpose, and creating entertainment that positively impacts people's lives.Chevonne has spent decades in the entertainment industry and says she has distributed more than 500 films worldwide. But her decision to focus on more inspirational and uplifting entertainment began with something that happened inside her own family.Chevonne partnered with Cindy Bond and began distributing inspirational films internationally. But success didn't happen immediately. Buyers weren't accustomed to seeing this type of content, and some initially walked right past it.Reginald and Chevonne also discuss today's enormous challenge for parents:What are our children consuming? With streaming platforms, social media, smartphones, and endless digital content competing for attention, parents have more entertainment choices than ever—but also more content to evaluate.Current family-media discussions similarly emphasize how entertainment shapes children's worldview, why stories matter, and how parents can make more intentional media choices.Chevonne also takes listeners behind the scenes of the entertainment business and explains why talent alone isn't enough. For filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and creators, one of the biggest lessons from this conversation is understanding your audience.Chevonne also discusses Sugar Creek Amish Mysteries, her work advocating for women in film, the changing opportunities for independent filmmakers, the challenges of modern film distribution, and why creators must understand the platforms and audiences they're trying to reach. If you're a parent, filmmaker, entrepreneur, content creator, woman in entertainment, person of faith, or someone concerned about the impact today's culture and media are having on young people, this episode delivers an important conversation about using creativity for something greater than attention. It's an inspirational story about following your convictions, trusting your instincts, persevering when others don't understand your vision, and proving that entertainment can do more than entertain. It can inspire. It can encourage. And it can bring people together.Discover why the stories children and families consume matter and how positive, inspirational, faith-based and family-friendly entertainment can create opportunities for meaningful conversations about difficult real-life issues.Learn powerful entrepreneurship and self-improvement lessons about trusting your vision, persevering through rejection, understanding your audience, adapting your strategy, and continuing when your idea goes against industry trends.Hear an inspirational and motivational story from a woman who built a decades-long entertainment career while advocating for women in film and pursuing a larger purpose: creating stories centered on hope, faith, family, values, forgiveness and encouragement.Press play now to hear Chevonne O'Shaughnessy's inspirational journey and discover why the stories we watch matter, how creators can turn conviction into opportunity, and why positive entertainment still has the power to influence families and the next generation.Chevonne O'Shaughnessy's Contact Info:American Cinema Inspires | Family-Friendly Films & Entertainment - https://americancinemainspires.comYouTube Channel - Lifted - Stories That Inspire - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjWgFEwDOOTVQgVo1yZ8-5A Send us Fan MailSupport the showFor daily motivation and inspiration, subscribe and follow Real Talk With Reginald D on social media:Instagram: realtalkwithreginaldd TikTok: @realtalkregd Youtube: @realtalkwithreginald Website: https://www.realtalkwithreginaldd.com Real Talk With Reginald D - MerchandiseReal Talk With Reginald D is a faith-based globally ranked inspirational and motivational podcast designed to motivate, empower & transform lives through powerful motivational speeches, authentic conversations, and real-life inspirational stories. Send us Fan Mail“Incline your ears” sounds gentle, but it is a direct challenge to the way most of us live. We say we want peace, wisdom, and healthy community, yet we often move through the day like we know better than God. Psalm 78 names a different path: humility as an active posture, a decision to bend our attention and our choices toward what is trustworthy and timeless. In this episode, Melissa and Bishop Wright have a conversation about what Psalm 87 looks like in real life and in real leadership. As reading habits decline and attention gets fragmented, they make the case for biblical literacy that is personal, practical, and lived, not outsourced to a single hour on Sunday. They also push back on the false split between “heady” scripture study and embodiment. Whether you learn by reading, listening, or hearing the word spoken aloud, the real measure is application: do our priorities, budgets, conflicts, and relationships actually line up with what we say we believe? Mary welcomes back Dr. Brady Blevins of Watchman Fellowship to talk about the more diverse and interesting ways our culture and the church are being transformed. Burning Man, which starts this weekend, is the most visible example of what are called “Transformational Festivals”. What are they transforming? Themselves? The culture at large? Attendees seem to think they are practicing the future, a future of pagan, New Age, cosmic consciousness – a utopia of inclusiveness, earth worship, and paganism – in which adherents look within and find a god. Not THE God, of course, Who is outside of His creation. We talk about all those things they say and believe that we understand will of course lead to massive deception and delusion. Then we discuss another kind of transformation – in our cities and towns – the encroachment of radical Islam. What is Sharia Law? Is it codified or something much more insidious and dangerous? A full hour with the senior apologist at Watchman Fellowship. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

EVEN MORE about this episode!Have you ever had a gut feeling you ignored—only to realize later that your intuition was right all along? What if that first quiet knowing isn't random, but information your soul is already receiving?Julie Ryan sits down with spiritual teacher, intuitive healer, and Akashic Record reader Inga Kastrone to explore how intuition really works, why it often speaks before the thinking mind takes over, and what can happen when we stop second-guessing what we already know.Inga describes intuition as access to a much larger energetic field connecting us with the subconscious mind, ancestral patterns, the body, and our soul's purpose. Together, Julie and Inga explore why trauma and conditioning can disconnect us from that inner knowing—and how we can begin rebuilding trust in ourselves.Inga's own awakening took an extraordinary path. Raised in Soviet Latvia without a spiritual upbringing, she pursued an academic career in international migration law before an unmistakable intuitive message told her to go to New Orleans. During a late-night ghost tour, an encounter with a voodoo priestess became part of a spiritual turning point that eventually led Inga into Reiki, the Akashic Records, energy healing, and the work she practices today.Julie and Inga also explore Harmonic Reconnection, Inga's approach to restoring harmony after trauma and disconnection; ancestral biofields; the imaginal realm; Egyptian goddess archetypes; and what it means to become fully present in your body while remaining connected to Spirit. Most importantly, this conversation asks a question that may change how you respond the next time that quiet voice speaks:What if you don't need more answers—what if you need to trust the answer you received first? If you've ever struggled to tell the difference between intuition and fear, doubted a gut feeling, ignored an inner knowing, or wondered how to reconnect with your spiritual guidance, this episode is for you.Guest Biography:Inga Kastrone, MA, MPhil, is an energy therapist, intuitive healer, Akashic Record reader, and sacred dance teacher based on the Mediterranean island of Gozo. For more than a decade, she has worked with advanced and sensitive souls seeking a deeper sense of wholeness, embodiment, and belonging, drawing on the subconscious mind, imaginal realm, and ancestral patterns. Her search for a more grounded bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds led her to develop Harmonic Reconnection, a holistic healing modality designed to help people reconnect with themselves, live from the soul, and move through life in greater harmony with the universe.Episode Chapters:(0:00:00) Welcome & Introduction(0:01:44) Has Your Intuition Been Right All Along?(0:05:45) Why We Learn to Ignore Our Intuition(0:09:36) Intuition vs. Ego: Which Voice Are You Hearing?(0:10:47) Ancestral Energy & the Akashic Records(0:18:53) Can Healing the Present Change the Past?(0:21:14) Healing Trauma Through the Imaginal Realm(0:24:28) Can the Body Hold Ancestral Memories?(0:31:39) The Body, Intuition & the Divine Feminine(0:40:52) How Spiritual Archetypes Can Help Us Heal(0:47:49) Why Sensitive Souls Feel They Don't Belong(0:53:27) What Is Harmonic Reconnection?(0:56:18) How Inga Was Called to Spiritual Work(0:59:44) The Ghost Tour That Changed Everything(1:03:33) Can Trees & Places Hold Energetic Memories?(1:11:32) A Message From Her Father's Spirit(1:11:33) How to Start Trusting Your Intuition(1:13:21) The “My Soul, I See You” Exercise(1:13:26) Why Do We Incarnate?➡️ Subscribe to Ask Julie Ryan YouTube➡️ Julie's Intuitive Trainings✏️ Ask Julie a Question!
Do you feel like giving up on yourself, your dreams, or the future you're trying to build because moving forward has become harder than you expected? You've already grown. You've learned. You've survived things you once thought would break you. You've come too far to turn back now.In this powerful motivational speech, Reginald D delivers an inspirational and motivational message for anyone who feels discouraged, afraid, stuck, exhausted, or tempted to quit. You can't turn back now. You've already crossed too many bridges, learned too many lessons, survived too many struggles, and discovered too much about yourself to return to the person you used to be.Reginald D challenges you to keep going, never give up, overcome fear, trust the process, believe in yourself, and continue pursuing your dreams and purpose even when you can't clearly see the road ahead.Your mistakes aren't a reason to quit.Your failures aren't a reason to turn back.Your difficult seasons have given you wisdom and strength that you didn't have before. In this motivational and inspirational speech, Reginald shares how there were moments in his own life when things stopped making sense. He began doubting God and turned back toward his old ways—only to realize that the life he once lived no longer fit the person he was becoming. That experience taught him an important lesson:Sometimes life becomes difficult because you're trying to remain in a place you've already outgrown. The old relationships, old habits, old mindset, old environment, and old version of yourself may feel comfortable—but your comfort zone isn't necessarily where your future lives.God may be calling you higher. And going higher requires you to move forward even when you're afraid. This episode reminds you that you don't have to figure out your entire journey today. You only have to commit to the next step.Progress happens one decision at a time. When the mountain looks too big, stop trying to climb the entire mountain in your mind. Focus on the next step. Then take another.Maybe you've been pursuing a dream, building a business, changing your life, strengthening your faith, working toward a goal, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself. But now it's getting hard. You're questioning whether all the effort is worth it.And your old life suddenly looks easier because familiar feels safer than uncertain. That's exactly when this message matters.Reginald D reminds you that the desire to go backward doesn't necessarily mean you're on the wrong path. Sometimes you're simply uncomfortable because you've entered territory you've never experienced before. You don't need to know how the entire journey ends.Commit to the next step.Your past may be familiar, but your future requires growth.Discover how to keep moving forward when fear, uncertainty, disappointment, and difficult circumstances make you want to give up.Learn why focusing on your next step instead of the entire journey can make intimidating dreams and goals feel achievable and help you continue making progress.Gain inspirational and motivational encouragement to stop retreating into your comfort zone, trust God through uncertainty, embrace personal growth, and pursue the life and purpose ahead of you.Press play now and let this powerful motivational speech give you the encouragement, faith, and determination to stop looking backward, take your next step, and keep moving toward the life you were meant to live.Send us Fan MailSupport the showFor daily motivation and inspiration, subscribe and follow Real Talk With Reginald D on social media:Instagram: realtalkwithreginaldd TikTok: @realtalkregd Youtube: @realtalkwithreginald Website: https://www.realtalkwithreginaldd.com Real Talk With Reginald D - MerchandiseReal Talk With Reginald D is a faith-based globally ranked inspirational and motivational podcast designed to motivate, empower & transform lives through powerful motivational speeches, authentic conversations, and real-life inspirational stories.
