A legal loophole allowed Brandon Mitchell to bring home a baby boy via surrogacy, despite the fact that he was convicted of child sex abuse in 2016. Mitchell drew public outrage after posting a disturbing video of the baby on social media, with many calling for Pennsylvania laws to be changed – the state has strict oversight on adoption but different rules for surrogacy. Reduxx reports: “While Pennsylvania's adoption law does prohibits s*x offenders from adopting or fostering children, gestational surrogacy circumvents any such laws through pre-birth parentage orders.” York County DA Tim Barker says the loophole is a critical issue and urged lawmakers to protect kids with new legislation. Mitchell's attorney, Peter Kratsa, defended his client by saying Mitchell completed his sentence, counseling, and that there is no evidence he has reoffended. “If we look at the entire history of the human experience, if you saw some text or you heard some spoken language, you could 100 percent reliably infer that there was a human who created that. Our experience of having that text or that image generated for us is very akin to the experience of a magic trick, and we sort of pre-subconsciously want to attribute some kind of intelligence to what's going on on the other side.At the core of the work is that sense of curiosity, that sense of joy, that sense of beauty, and that sense of learning. I've been fortunate to have all kinds of strange and interesting experiences, whether that's seeing weird things in the sky over secret military bases in the middle of the Nevada desert, going scuba diving and finding internet cables on the bottom of the ocean, or tracking spy satellites in the sky and being able to predict when they'll appear in a flash against the backdrop of stars. In this episode we get to catch up with one of our favorite physicians and medical hero's, Dr. Peter McCullough. Dr. McCullough has been a trusted resource for all things Covid as a true medical researcher and one of the most published cardiologists in the world. His research helped guide us through the Covid era, but because he has proven to be a physician who has been willing to follow where the science leads, it's also led to new discoveries for him which includes the truth behind childhood vaccines. His latest book, Vaccines: Mythology, Ideology & Reality, which he coauthored with John Leake, does a deep dive on the history of vaccines and why EVERYONE needs to know it. In this episode we talk about his new book, plus we get to learn the latest on the proven dangers of the Covid vaccine, how it can shed, and how we can all possibly detox from both the shot and the virus if we've had it. We also get to talk to Dr. McCullough about other controversial topics, including his take on statins. There has been a lot of controversy around one of the most prescribed drugs in the world, and we know of cardiologists like Dr. Aseem Malhotra, who has a documentary called First Do No Pharm" which we also recommend, who have spoken out about the side effects and questionable efficacy of these drugs. You'll hear Dr McCullough's take, which is different than Dr. Malhotra's. Of course we like the discourse because it's in the debate of things that we can discover what's true. But we ran out of time to really dive into subject that we, even after this conversation, still have a lot of questions and concerns about. We want to dive even deeper into this statin debate, but for now….take a listen as we catch up with one of the most courageous and investigative doctors of our lifetimes: Dr. Peter McCullough.
Did Rev. Kane return for Poltergeist 4? Wait...that's just Joe Biden at the National Bar Association gala. Shaun talks to Donald Kendal, Director of the Emerging Issues Center at the Heartland Institute, about why you should never buy property in a Democrat-run area! And John Leake discusses his new book Vaccines: Mythology, Ideology, and Reality! Our National Anthem: sung by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

“There's a word for this brain rot, right? I think that's very real. There are studies coming out now that are showing that the more and more of our cognitive labor we offload to AI systems, the less creative we become, the less critical we become, and the less of our human faculties for reason we use. There's something sad about that, but there's also something dangerous about it because that leaves us very open to being manipulated. The surveillance capitalism kind of economy of extracting data from every possible moment of everyday life in order to extract value. The sensor systems that we're surrounded with are not simply passive devices that are recording us; they are increasingly becoming active sculptors of our experience of reality. Playing dirty. If we look at the entire history of the human experience, if you saw some text or you heard some spoken language, you could 100 percent reliably infer that there was a human who created that. Our experience of having that text or that image generated for us is very akin to the experience of a magic trick, and we sort of pre-subconsciously want to attribute some kind of intelligence to what's going on on the other side.I'm trying to think about these other media strategies, whether that's UFO photography, psychological operations, magic, or neuroscience, and take them seriously as contributing factors to the changing visual culture. With the collection at Pace Gallery, (New York, Jun 26–Aug 15) it was really just to put those images together and show them. They're all photographed on film. A lot of them are photographed on instant film. They're not images that are made with AI; they're not images that are photoshopped. What I really wanted to get at was thinking about the ways in which what we see in an image is very often what we're predisposed to see. I am playing with these mechanics of perception and proposing that as a way of thinking about images now.At the core of the work is that sense of curiosity, that sense of joy, that sense of beauty, and that sense of learning. The world around us is extraordinary and embodied, right? It is not on screens, and I'm very privileged to have that be so much a part of my process.”Trevor Paglen is an artist whose work makes the invisible visible, whether he's photographing secret government sites from miles away or revealing the hidden infrastructures of mass surveillance. He's a geographer by training, and he combines investigative journalism with his art practice to explore the hidden power structures of our time, including military technology and artificial intelligence. His work has been exhibited in major museums around the world, and he's also an award-winning author. Today I'm honored to be joined by Ida Tin, founder of the Clue App, for a conversation all about redefining how we understand and approach women's health. Based in Berlin, Clue was one of the first mainstream apps designed specifically to help people understand their menstrual cycles - not just to predict periods, but to track fertility, PMS symptoms, mood energy levels, and more. We dive into the importance of cycle tracking as a wellness tool, how data can be used to reclaim agency over our health, and why designing tech specifically for the female body is long overdue. This is a conversation about purpose-driven entrepreneurship, getting in touch with our bodies, challenging the medical status quo, and building technology that actually gets us. Tom and co-host Drew tackle some of the most pressing issues shaping our world right now—from trade deals and tech breakthroughs to the complexities of American politics and evolving cultural narratives. The conversation kicks off with reactions to a major US-EU trade agreement and what it means for America's place in the global economy. Tom and Drew dive into the ongoing gridlock in Congress, sparked by passionate remarks from Cory Booker, and discuss whether polarization is crippling the nation—or protecting it from “doing anything really crazy.” They draw surprising parallels between the American political landscape and other countries, especially China. Next, the team explores a viral ad campaign starring Sydney Sweeney, unpacking the culture war currently raging over beauty standards, identity, and the stories we tell ourselves as a society. Tom makes the case for the power of uplifting narratives—both for individuals and entire nations—while warning of the risks when those narratives turn toxic. Don and Tom take a reality sledgehammer to investors' wildly inflated expectations for stock market returns. A new survey shows average Americans expect 12.6% after inflation, even as historical real returns rarely crack 9%. They explore how this overconfidence—fueled by recency bias and company loyalty—leads to dangerous behavior like under-saving, over-spending, and poorly diversified portfolios. With real-world client stories, historical decade-by-decade returns, and a deep dive into how long it takes portfolios to recover after major drops, they reinforce the need for long-term discipline and diversified planning. The episode wraps with audience questions on umbrella policies, retirement bond ladders, and smart ETF tax-loss harvesting strategies. 0:04 Don delays the podcast waiting for Tom's arrival (with British accent) 1:30 Survey shock: Investors expect 12.6% real annual returns 2:28 Reality check: Actual global stock returns are closer to 9% 3:45 Dangerous real-world portfolios: 100% S&P 500 near retirement 5:30 One-stock portfolios tied to employers—what could go wrong? 6:50 Under-saving due to false optimism about future returns 7:14 Decade-by-decade historical real returns from 1930–2020s 10:13 The Dave Ramsey fantasy: 8% withdrawals on 12% returns 10:40 Recency bias: Why we forget recent downturns so fast 11:05 50% of years see 10% drops; 1 in 3 see 20% drops 12:47 Emotional investing vs. disciplined long-term planning 13:39 Listener Q: How long to recover from a major market drop? 14:22 Diversification shortens recovery time historically 15:36 Build for the worst case: 50% stock market drop 16:32 Listener Q: Does Ivan need an umbrella policy with $350K net worth? 17:57 Umbrellas are rarely needed—but the industry sure sells them 18:54 Listener Q: Is LifeX 10-year bond ladder a good retirement tool? 20:20 It's mostly return of principal—DIY Treasury ladders are cheaper 22:40 Don't be fooled by nice websites and big yield promises 23:24 Listener Q: Can AVGE replace four-fund ETF portfolio for tax loss harvesting? 24:32 Swap Avantis for DFA funds—nearly identical, wash-sale safe 25:56 Parting shots: Buy a decent mic, don't let emotion control your portfolio Learn more about your ad choices. That's the question Stigall poses to Dr. Peter McCullough today among many others in a wide ranging discussion born of the MAHA movement and his new book "Vaccines: Mythology, Ideology, and Reality." Live from the White House Harrison Fields from the President's communications team stops by to address some new comments the President made yesterday regarding Epstein "stealing" his former Mar-a-lago empoyees. Plus the epic EU deal, China moving closer to finalizing a deal on trade, and will we see justice for Russiagate? Also included today are great conversations with former Fox News Host Steve Hilton who's now running for governor of California. And thankfully the tsunami making its way east after a massive eathrquake in Russia didn't materialize. But SNC meteorologist Stephen Parr and Stigall talk about the science behind tsunamis and what makes them so difficult to read.-For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShow-Help protect your wealth with real, physical gold and silver.
