Why did we do this? What have we learned? How do you end a podcast? We answer fewer of these questions than you would expect as we watch OUR FINAL and THE FIRST episode of Family Matters. (Don't worry. We'll be back. Like, next week.) Alex Diamond, David Kenny, and John McDaniel heard that the long-running network sitcom Family Matters ends with side character Steve Urkel going to space. And the best way to figure out how that happened - obviously - is to watch the last episode first and make our way backwards through nearly ten years of television.Join our countdown to number one (and our slow descent into madness) in all the places you expect internet people to be:Website: jumpingtheshuttle.space Email: jumpingtheshuttle@gmail.com Instagram: @JumpingTheShuttle Twitter: @JumpingShuttle TikTok: @JumpingTheShuttle Brought to you by Smooth My Balls

Did the windows on zeppelins open or not? In this one, Liv's dad/Ian's Uncle Joe returns for a good ol' fashioned discussion about The Hindenburg disaster. Who would've guessed that the inside of a zeppelin is comparable to a cruise ship? By the end of the episode, you'll be familiar with a "flying moor" and how the Nazi regime affected SpongeBob. Also, Liv hates noisy aircrafts. Joe isn't a fan of actress Ally Sheedy. Ian learns where Lactaid is made.

For a significant portion of the world's population, baking is punctuated by the pain and discomfort of food intolerances. Lactose stands out as a particularly pesky ingredient in this regard. In this episode of the Xtalks Food Podcast, Sydney talks about Intoleran, a beacon of hope for those troubled by lactose. The Dutch brand, founded by Harmen Treep in 2008, recognized the immense gap in the market and created a line of lactase enzyme supplements tailored to cater to the lactose-intolerant community. She gives examples of other products for lactose intolerance on the market, including Lactaid and Almond Breeze, but explains why Intoleran is different. The standout feature of Intoleran is its user-friendly lactase drops. Instead of crafting an entire recipe around lactose-free ingredients or popping a pill beforehand, Intoleran users can integrate these drops into their regular baking process. By adding just five of these drops to a liter of milk, up to 80 percent of the lactose is neutralized within a day. The team commends this company for creating an innovative product that allows those with lactose intolerance to enjoy baked goods without sacrifices. Also in this episode, Sydney talks about why leading US plant-based food companies are considering the formation of a coalition to counteract successful marketing strategies like The Incredible, Edible Egg and Got Milk?. This initiative, slated for a 2024 launch, comes as a reaction to the negative press and targeted ads by Big Ag. The plant-based sector has weathered turbulent times over recent years, facing hits from multiple directions. Sales attacks, media criticisms and advertisement blitzes, many orchestrated by Big Ag and its affiliates, have all left marks. In response to Big Ag's strategies, Beyond Meat rolled out a campaign that subtly highlighted its commitment to farmers and countered misinformation surrounding plant-based proteins. Peter McGuinness, CEO of Impossible Foods, emphasized the need for better marketing from plant-based companies, given Big Ag's coordinated and resounding voice. The team wonders how the planned plant-based marketing coalition will go about marketing — will it counterattack Big Ag or promote its variety of products in a positive light?Read the full article here:Intoleran: A Revolutionary Solution for Lactose-Intolerant BakersBig Ag Challenges Spur Coalition Among Plant-Based CompaniesFor more food and beverage industry content, visit the Xtalks Vitals homepage.Follow Us on Social Media Twitter: @XtalksFood Instagram: @Xtalks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Xtalks.Webinars/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/xtalks-webconferences YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/XtalksWebinars/featured

The presence of these small bulges is fairly common, but it can become problematic when they become inflamed or infected.Diverticula, or the small pouches, are formed in weak portions of the large intestine. They are usually found in the sigmoid colon, which is on the lower left side of the gastrointestinal tract. They are often due to weak spots in the colon.Diverticulitis symptoms are severe abdominal pain (often in the left side), fever, and nausea, chills, and cramps. Since it has similar symptoms to a lot of other gut issues, it can be hard to diagnose. However severe symptoms signal that you need treatment as soon as possible. While the presence of diverticula is fairly common, only 5% of these cases turn into Diverticulitis. It is more likely as you get older.Other risk factors include:high-fat diethigh red meat consumptionlow-fibre dietlow exercisenonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen)maleSources: HERE and HEREDiagnosis of Diverticulitis and TreatmentIn order to diagnose diverticulitis, your health care provider will often check your medical history and touch your stomach to gauge pain levels. They can also run the following tests:blood testsstool samplesCT scansigmoidoscopydigital rectal examOnce diagnosed, diverticulitis is often treated with antibiotics. Often it will be recommended to rest, and follow a low-fiber diet or liquid diet until inflammation goes down. This prevents the risk of further inflaming the diverticula. In extreme cases, surgery is sometimes required. This is only if the infection reaches a point where it is creating blockages and affecting your entire digestive tract. What Causes DiverticulitisA lot of scientists theorize that one of the main causes is a low-fiber diet. This leads to constipation which puts pressure on your abdominal wall and causes diverticula. It is also thought that infections of these diverticula can occur from gut dysbiosis, parasites, and bacterial infections.By increasing the consumption of high-fiber foods (implementing a more high-fibre diet), you can reduce the risk of diverticulitis significantly.Eating Habits for DiverticulitisJoanna recommends a couple of shifts that made a huge difference in preventing her own diverticulitis from flaring up.Taking digestive aidsJoanna takes HCL with meals that are high in protein or are harder to digestShe also takes Lactaid when eating dairy to help with digestionDigestive enzymes can also be usefulBetter digestion= less chance of inflammationBeing careful with probioticsWhile some probiotics can help with gut dysbiosis, some can further inflame the gutThe effectiveness of probiotics with diverticulitis is based on the root causeEating less raw foodJoanna limits her consumption of raw veggies such as saladsCooking veggies makes it easier to digest and reduces risk of inflammationIncluding supplementationTaking supplements your body is low in or to substitute for hard-to digest foodsJoanna takes iron to limit her red meat intakeSmaller portions and mindful eatingTaking time in between mealsAllows time for the MMC to “sweep the gut”Gives your body time to actually digest in between eatingDrinking plenty of waterHelps move food through the digestive systemFluids can help with more regular bowel movementsTIP: carbonated water to increase if opposed to regularMoving body after eatingCan help with both digestion and blood glucose levelsThe takeaway here is that anything that improves overall digestion will reduce inflammation. This results in less flare ups of diverticula. Are you having a hard time digesting food? YOU'LL FIND IT ALL BY CLICKING HERE.Joanna personally does not adhere to a special diet but has found a routine that works for her.Her diet includes things such as oatmeal, fresh fruit, nuts, starchy carbohydrates, proteins, and soups. She recommends finding foods that feel good to YOUR body, as no template for eating will be perfectly fit to your own gut. You are the only one who can properly know what works for your digestive system and what does not. Some fun tips Joanna has found through experimentation are:red wine can help with her symptoms of SIBO (bloating and gas)almonds and fatty nuts help with both sugar cravings and migrainesstarchy carbohydrates help with both satiety and digestionAll of these work for HER, which is part of the reason it is so important to find your own eating pattern. If you listen to your body it will be much easier to prevent a flare-up.Lifestyle Shifts for DiverticulitisOne of Joanna's main shifts that has changed her gut has been to REDUCE stress. You are probably so tired of hearing this advice, but it is truly a game-changer.Here are some ways she lowers her stress:Setting boundariesEspecially if you are a type A person, setting boundaries for yourself is critical. Saying no to certain opportunities and not overloading your plate are so helpful in giving your body time to rest and relax.SleepPrioritizing sleep is truly one of the best things you can do for your body. Joanna sets a strict sleep schedule in order to be asleep by 9:30 and have a full 8 hours a night.Moving bodyMoving your body not only is healthful for your physical well-being, but it also helps with mental well-being.Exercise boosts both endorphins and helps to lower cortisol levels (stress hormone). Adjusting your exercise to fit your current needs is a KEY part of making the most of your workout.Joanna recommends low-impact exercise such as walking or yoga over higher intensity cardio or strength training. This turns exercise into a way to both strengthen and stretch your body, rather than being hard on your cells.Being intentional with foodSince food literally feeds our gut it is crucial to think about WHAT and HOW we are eating.Opt for foods that feel good to you and are nutrient-dense.Self-careOr as Joanna calls it, “living slow.” This could be anything from sitting down to read a book to taking a hot bath at night. Take the time to care for your body. These are more natural remedies for treating inflammation in the body. Since inflammation and stress are so directly linked, it makes sense that taking steps to reduce stress can help prevent a diverticulitis flare-up.Advice for Gut HealingJoanna recommends a few steps to take for anyone on their gut journey.Follow practitioners and individuals well-versed in gut healthGather information about yourselfTHE ANSWERS ARE IN YOUR OWN BODYAs with any podcast, I asked Joanna to give us her three convictions around gut healing. Here were the three convictions she provided:Listen to your own body and know that everyone is uniqueBe your own detectiveDon't underestimate how much stress can impact your healthBe your own detective!Get ‘A Gutsy Girl's‘ 90-day gut healing journey journal, Healing Blooms from Within. Our team can mail you a physical, spiral-bound journal OR you can download the journal PDF to print on your own instantly.I NEED THE PHYSICAL COPY OF THIS JOURNAL SENT MY WAY TODAY!All three of these are absolutely key to anyone trying to figure out their own health problems.Taking ownership over your own symptoms and treatment is one of the first steps anyone should take in their healing journey, whether that be diverticulitis or anything else.More from A Gutsy GirlWant to learn even more about the gut and ways to heal it?Learn all the secrets via my signature book, A Gutsy Girl's Bible: a 21-day approach to healing the gut. Jill Zenoff joins us for a delicious (if not overly-cheesy) episode for Parashat Ki Tavo. A friend of farms and food, Jill brings a unique perspective to our conversation about first fruits, blessings, curses, and — of course — cheese. We love cheese. How does the first harvest connect to our world today? How does it connect to Tikkun Olam — repairing the world? We'll cover all this and more, all with a taste of Torah and — again — cheese. In fact, in a Drinking and Drashing: Torah with a Twist first, Jill pairs our Midrashic Mixology cocktail with a cheese! This episode is brought to you by Lactaid. Ok, not really, but it probably should be. To continue the conversation: Jill's Instagram: @cheese_camp_director_jill Our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/xeeghhpSy3 Show the love with some Drinking and Drashing: Torah with a Twist merchandise at store.drinkinganddrashing.com, and don't forget to subscribe and give us a rating on Apple Podcasts—it's a great way to help our show grow! Episode SummaryWelcome to The No Cap Health Show, a weekly podcast where Dr. Brian Boxer Wachler uses his decades of experience in medicine and ability as an expert researcher to provide a light- hearted approach and share health trends popular on TikTok. In this episode, Dr. Brian is provides his Cap/No Cap analysis on today's topic: How to Know if You're Still Growing. What are growth plates? What can people do to help increase growth hormone? How can sleep, nutrition and exercise impact growth? Find out in today's episode! If you're enjoying the show, we'd love it if you leave the show a Rating & Review at https://ratethispodcast.com/NoCap (RateThisPodcast.com/NoCap). Key Takeaways01:09 – Dr. Brian introduces today's topic: How to Know if You're Still Growing 04:31 – What are growth plates and what do they do? 06:26 – Highlighting what people can do to get taller 10:33 – Nutrition, weight lifting, and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 13:24 – Dr. Brian teases next week's topic, and encourages listeners to reach out and Rate and Review this podcast on https://ratethispodcast.com/NoCap (RateThisPodcast.com/NoCap). Tweetable Quotes“An X-Ray is something that a doctor can order. And, what they typically will do to assess the growth plates is they take an X-Ray of the hand and they see if the finger bones are with growth plates that are opened or closed.” (05:25) (Dr. Brian) “What happens when you sleep - besides those really awesome, sometimes funky dreams - is that your body releases growth hormone. That happens while you're sleeping. So, teenagers, try to get eight to nine hours of sleep. That's the recommendation to maximize your growth hormone release.” (07:17) (Dr. Brian) “And so, I get this little rock from the corner of the tent, and I just aim up at the lightbulb and just let her rip. And the lightbulb exploded and I was able to go to bed. That's how important sleep was to me when I was young.” (09:28) (Dr. Brian) “The key type of food that has been proven to help teenagers grow is cow milk. Cow milk stimulates growth for sure. There's lots of studies on that. And it has to be cow's milk unfortunately. If you don't like milk or you're lactose-intolerant, you can get Lactaid which is a milk with lactose removed.” (10:58) (Dr. Brian) Resources MentionedDM Dr. Brian your questions and we will respond back with answers - https://v.cameo.com/F5MH0Hglnmb (https://v.cameo.com/F5MH0Hglnmb) https://www.boxerwachler.com/ (Dr. Brian's Website) https://www.tiktok.com/@brianboxerwachlermd? 02:15 - First, before we move forward what tea are we sipping on? Meek is sipping on some raspberry leaf tea and Nique is sipping on Honey Lemon. They conclude that the studio tea staples are Raspberry leaf, Peach and Ginger and Spearmint. We hope you have a good situation in your cup as well! 03:35 - Nique reveals this episode's theme, “Spring Break Ideas”. They both have the spring break fever, Meek is so ready for the warmth and some sun rays. Nique acknowledges that she is soft living in NC compared anywhere up north where there is snow and it is bone-chilling cold. 04:20 - Nique has regional expectations, if she lived in Minnesota she would need a Range Rover and a constant rotation of UGG’s to survive. Meek relates, she has a friend who lives in Minnesota and they constantly wear UGG’s. 04:55 - Nique kicks off the conversation by asking Meek, “What is your spring break idea #1”? Meek says, “Going to the Caribbean”, she is behind on her plans but she wants an easy flight and a nice all-inclusive package for the kids. 05:55 - The duo reiterates that during this episode you will gain practical, useful choices for your own adventure from their idea bank. First and foremost it is all about getting family time in. Some ideas are definitely on the bucket list. 06:45 - Nique actually started planning a California spring break adventure for her family, but she got a hard stop after sharing the details of the trip with her kids. When asked what they would rather do, her son reminded her that there are landmarks at their grandpa and grandma's house in Iowa and that is their first choice. Nique and her husband may decide to have their own adventure, currently, Toronto and Omaha are on their list. 09:05 - Meek’s family has experienced California for spring break. They went to Legoland in San Diego and another year they went to San Francisco and enjoyed the Golden Gate Bridge. Meek has many fond memories of California and encourages Nique to definitely make it there with her family in the future. 10:15 - Nique brings up another spring break idea, she believes spring back can be a slowdown. You can stay stateside or in your city, there are so many interesting places to visit such as state parks, being in nature is always a great idea. Also, having a declutter day where you fill up bags to donate. Meek has staycation on her list as well but she throws in the idea of going to a hotel for one night, Meek’s kids love indoor pools. Nique mentions going to the dollar tree and even decorating the hotel room and the importance of giving yourself a theme and budget. Meek believes you do not need to feel like you have to live up to any expectations of spring break, this is not Instagram. The most important thing is that you are with your family, making memories. 13:35 - Meek’s next idea is to take a road trip, even though she personally does not want to be in a car for more than 5 hours. And, you do not have to go far, Meek loves Wilmington for some beach time because it is a 1 to 2-hour drive from her home. But, Meek is very set on spring break in the Caribbean, she wants to GO! Something is calling her there. One thing, Meek’s two youngest haven’t used their passports and she wants them to experience the beach vibes. Nique promotes NC, there are so many great cities to visit within a couple of hours. 16:20 - Meek has another idea for spring break and it revolves around the importance of family nights. It is one of her favorite things to do with her family, all you need is a good movie, homemade popcorn, the fireplace on and laughter. The big takeaway, there is nothing wrong with staying home and relaxing. Home is where the heart is :). 17:35 - Nique feels like spring break is a great time for service and there are two options. It is an excellent time to find a service project to complete as a family. Or, for her family, it is not always about physically doing something with a local at need group. She really feels it is most important to remember to just show up and let yourself be the light in the environment and leave people better than you found them. 19:40 - Nique brings up an important point, the people you are serving can also be your friends. It is not about I’m helping you, it can also just mean being present for your friend. It is all about getting out of your normal environment and being immersed in another environment. 20:15 - Meek wraps up her top three spring break ideas including staycation, Caribbean and a road trip. She loves the idea of incorporating service into spring break and she loves Nique’s idea of decorating the room if you splurge for a hotel room for a night. They both hope spring break is lit on your level this year. Nique wants to add in random fire questions to each episode and Mom confessions of the week. 21:35 - Nique does not wait until next week to begin Mom confessions, she asks Meek what her Mom confession of the week is. Meek says that it is her chosen snack eaten away from her kids. If she has a snack that she wants then she very well may hide it in her closet and eat it without feeling guilty. She does not feel bad her kids have an entire pantry of stuff that they like. They both agree it feels good to say no sometimes. Nique’s Mom's confession of the week is that she wants to celebrate the fact that she ate pizza with actual cheese for the first time in a very long time. It was a plain cheese pizza and she has been planning for this, so she bought some Lactaid so she didn’t die. Nique believes you need to give yourself indulgences as a balance in your life. Meek just started eating chicken again! Her husband always says, “It is all in moderation babe.” Now they are determined to find the best cheese pizza around and have a date. 27:30 - Drive Tracks!! Meek’s drive track is “Shell Shock” from the Ninja Turtle Soundtrack, but you have to tell Alexa, “Alexa play Shell Shock by Juicy Jay”, it is the only way she will play the song. Nique’s drive track is a throwback, “Dirty Computer '' by Janelle Monåe, she really needed this song today because she went to the grocery store with her husband they were asked if they wanted to split the order, Nique said in all things love and replied, “I hope my husband is buying my breakfast.”Make sure to follow Meek and Nique on social media! Q: My son goes to a private daycare. They had decided to make the room peanut and tree nut free for him... until... another mom complained. Because, obviously, it's not fair to her child since she wants to send almond milk for her child as his protein. The director asked for a letter from our allergist explaining the need of being nut free. Even after receiving his letter saying my son needs to be in a nut free room, they've decided to allow them to send almond milk. Which, ironically, has less protein than the soy, coconut, or Lactaid milk I give my son! I'm ticked! What can I do? If you want to ask a question, send an email using the contact form here. If you are interested in having 1-on-1 coaching, find out more on my Allergy Coaching page.
Lemon pledge might solve your furnishing polish needs, but we recommend you stop there. We do not recommend sniffing it to relieve pain! The truth is, we're all a bit like Consuela... we all need more lemon pledge. We also need to nerd out on stuff, right? So we've got a great lineup of topics for you in this episode, courtesy of Brian and Tony! In This Episode... Lactaid milk Health tips from around the community Brainstorming "themed" episodes No Man's Sky Star Trek Discovery Black Lightning Lemon Pledge This product has a long history. One of the earliest televised advertisements appeared in 1966, the tagline for the product being "beauty of waxing with none of the work". The purpose of it is to dust and clean furniture, and really not much about that has changed in the last 60 years. Unlike technology or fashion, the only things that have changed about cleaning products from generation to generation are the active agents that make it do what it's designed for. (And branding, I suppose!) Products become safer, and with the internet we have a greater demand for transparency on what these products contain. For example, SC Johnson (the creator of Lemon Pledge) provides the full breakdown of all the ingredients in their products and an explanation of what those ingredients are and their acknowledgement of the effect it might have on people and the environment. Lemon Pledge is one of the more unique cleaning products, in my own personal opinion/experience... because it has such a distinctive smell that it's almost like you know how it tastes. So distinctive that people use phrases like, "Blech! Tastes like lemon pledge!" (even though eating, or inhaling, it would probably kill you - or maim you). So... like we said. We do not actually recommend snorting lemon pledge. But for all your furniture maintenance needs, well, I guess we'll let you decide for yourself. Tottenham vs AC Milan I'm a pretty big soccer fan, in case there was any question. I had the awesome opportunity to go to the Tottenham/AC Milan match at U.S. Bank Stadium on Tuesday night. Minneapolis built U.S. Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings, but in its two years of existence I've actually only ever attended soccer games at this stadium! It's an incredible venue and runs so much more efficiently than the Metrodome ever did. Here's a couple pictures from the night. I immediately jumped on the best seats I could find... we were behind one of the goals, off to the side. The one goal that was scored in the game was scored right in front of us. So it was basically an awesome night! Links TRBS Twitch Channel A Naturopathic Guide to Identifying your Food Sensitivities Part 1 & Part 2 Examine.com - unbiased healthy food research

Click here for the show notes Please leave us a review at http://openskyfitness.com/review How Does Goat's Milk Compare to Cow's Milk? "A goat's milk is meant to get a kid goat from 6-8 pounds to 15o-180 pounds. With a newborn calf, that milk is meant to help it grow from 70-100 pounds to a 1,500 pound fully grown cow. Which one of those mammals gives milk that would be more bio-dynamically appropriate for a 6-8 pound human baby? The goat milk because it's so similar to a human mother's milk." - Joe Stout On this week's episode, we're once again diving deep into dairy products by discussing different alternatives to milk as well as debating which is better: goat's milk or cow's milk? We've got Mt. Capra President, Joe Stout, joining us to share his insight into how the two different milks compare. Plus, we discuss some other interesting goat milk related topics such as: How Mt. Capra runs their goat farm and what they're doing to make it more sustainable. In the sense of casein and milk allergens, which is better cow's or goat's milk? Lactose intolerance vary with different dairy products and what causes it to happen. How Joe and his team at Mt. Capra fed their goats during the winter before using the hydroponic barley fodder system. A look at the various products that Mt. Capra creates and sells in their stores and online such as: Berry Whey Goat Milk Ghee Ingredients used to make the goat milk formula Milk on a Global Scale When it comes to cow's milk vs goat's milk. One thing to keep in mind is how each is consumed on a global scale. Goat's are much more economic; especially in third world conditions plus they have lots of nutrients and their milk is easier to digest than cow's milk. In fact, many people, especially children, are allergic to cow's milk. It's actually the no. 1 allergen for children under three years old. Milk Alternatives for Coffee and More This week in our Open Sky Fitness Facebook Group, we had a great question come up. What are some potential milk alternatives for coffee, cereal, protein shakes, and smoothies? First of all, we don't recommend anything like Coffee Mate or International Delight because they're not whole, healthy, nutritious alternatives to actual milk. What we do recommend includes: Lactaid milk Soy milk Almond milk Coconut milk Rice milk Cashew milk Flax milk Hemp milk Rob's Cashew/Almond Milk Coffee Creamer Recipe: All you need to make your own homemade cashew or almond milk coffee creamer are three ingredients: Purified water Cashews or almonds Salt For the unsweetened plain version, follow these 3 easy steps: Take a half cup of cashews or almonds and soak them in 1.5 cups of purified water with a small pinch of salt for 2 -12 hours Drain the cashews, discard the soaking liquid, and rinse the cashews. Using a high - speed blender, place the cashews or almonds in the blender and start with the lowest speed and work your way up to the highest speed until creamy. It takes about 2 minutes to completely blend the cashews. To sweeten the coffee creamer, just add either raw maple syrup or raw honey with a couple of drops of vanilla extract. About Joe Stout Joe received a Masters of Science in Clinical Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition and Food Science from Washington State University. Along with running the farm, He has engaged in graduate studies of Sustainable Food Systems at Green Mountain College and is certified in Permaculture Design. Joe and his wonderful bride Elizabeth have been married for 10 years and have been blessed with 6 beautiful children. Sarpy County People's Choice Award nominees for "Best Podcast Guests Who Are Getting Married" EDDIE MUJICA (@mooheekah) and BEX MARSH (@MissBexMarsh) walk down the aisle and into Sammy's heart as we talk about Bex's resting bitch face, the Sarpy County People's Choice Awards, bridal showers, artistic creativity and who will teach their child the jump shot. Eddie and Bex previously appeared on Episode 92. SHOW NOTES 0:00 Intros. LEGIT intros. SUCH LEGIT INTROS. (Well, at least for Bex.) 1:20 Sammy thinks Bex was cast in a web series because of her resting bitch face. We compare the feedback styles we respond to. Bex has problems hiding emotion on her face. “Bex, we can see everything on your face...Get it to neutral!” 7:35 Eddie and Bex, who live in Los Angeles, are getting married in Chicago. Using the 2015 Sarpy County’s People’s Choice Awards, Sammy argues they should have got married in Bellevue, Nebraska. 14:50 Bex explains what a Bridal Shower is. They played “fun games” and she received lingerie that basically was for Eddie's enjoyment. The fellas ponder what a Groom Shower would be like. “They thought about my body sooo much for this moment.” 24:05 Eddie and Bex didn’t get to use the scanning gun for their wedding registry. 26:25 They both are fans of the book BIG MAGIC which about the creative process. 31:35 Bex now has an iPhone, which is a boon as she technologically incompetent. Eddie is now lactose intolerant, which is a bane because he likes ice cream and pizza. He’s getting old you guys. “Guys in their 20s are carrying condoms. Eddie’s got Lactaid.” 39:30 They’re already thinking about how to raise a kid...specifically who will teach them the jump shot. Sammy wonders how their kid would rebel against them. 44:35 Bex and Eddie share how different the L.A. vibe is and their frightening/confusing near-car-accident experience. 51:25 Outro Thanks for listening!
