I couldn't help but wonder if Samantha should be the one writing a book about sex. Maybe she could finally explain where the G-spot is, or would it just end up being an episode of CBC? This week, we are pleasuring ourselves with Canadian sex god Kim Cattrall's book "Sexual Intelligence." We go deep inside the part history-part outsider art photography book and discuss ancient aphrodisiacs, what Toronto singles really want in bed, the phallus in art, oysters, female Viagra, bundles of nerves, outdoor lovemaking, and where our fantasies really come from.Support the show: https://www.patreon.com/cbcthepodSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode our guest is A'magine. A'magine is an author, educator, speaker and filmmaker. She came to the cafe to discuss her documentary called At Your Cervix. A new film exposing the little-known unethical practice of conducting non-consensual pelvic exams on unconscious patients. Grab your warm drink and tune in for a great conversation! Some key takeaways:Consent is non-negotiable: Patients have the right to set clear boundaries and be fully informed about all medical procedures involving their bodies.Advocacy matters: Being proactive, asking questions, and educating oneself before medical appointments can help protect against unethical practices. Support is crucial: We must work together to enact legislation, address systemic issues, and provide resources to empower patients and hold institutions accountable. The lack of consent is a critical issue that affects patients and medical students alike. Gynecological teaching associates (GTAs) are an excellent way for medical students to learn how to do pelvic exams with feedback.Watch the film, At Your Cervix!About A'magineA'magine earned her Master's degree in Human Sexuality Education at New York University and has been teaching and speaking about feminism and sexuality for over two decades. Formerly known as Amy Jo Goddard, she is author of Woman on Fire: Nine Elements to Wake up Your Erotic Energy, Personal Power and Sexual Intelligence and co-author of the best-selling classic Lesbian Sex Secrets for Men, both published by Penguin Random House. A coastal transplant to New Mexico, she currently thrives in the desert of the southwest, residing with her wild feline friends, who, she claims are evolved teachers about empowered sexuality and healthy boundaries.A'magine was named one of Go Magazine's “100 Women We Love” and Kinkly's “100 Sex Blogging Superheroes.” She works with women and couples on their sexual and relationship lives and she is a corporate and media consultant. She helps companies, media outlets, health care institutions and universities improve workplaces and the lives of women and elevate media representations of women and LGBTQ people. A'magine's award winning documentary film, At Your Cervix, aims to improve pelvic exams for all patients and to end unethical medical practices that harm women and transgender people. A'magine has begun to advocate for state laws banning the use of anesthetized patients without consent. "Intelligence isn't just academic or emotional. Even sex requires sense." - Rodney Do you take your pleasure seriously? If you do, this episode is for you. Sex is one of those scary things in our society that everybody loves but still loves to hate. Whenever we talk about being the best version of ourselves, everything else comes up, except sex. It's naught but an afterthought. Rodney uses the opportunity to challenge this mindset. In this episode, he debuts an original idea: sexual intelligence which encourages one to think beyond the bedroom, beyond the physicality of sex, to be thoughtful about the power of pleasure, the gift of sex, and the intelligence it requires. Rodney goes deep-- exploring the nuances of bad sex, good sex, and great sex -- what it means to be a good lover -- a sex god! He believes that if you have a sex life, you have a responsibility to make it as good as it can be and it should positively affect other aspects of your life. The episode also addresses celibacy, orgasms, the sex toy industry, and the overlap between creativity and sex. All for your listening pleasure. Enough now - of this science stuff! Ok then, then is the last one - for now.Delayed childbearing and fewer pregnancies raise the risk of developing breast cancer in women. We are seeing 100% increase in the rates of breast cancer right now. Much more than in the past. Why?A female who has her first child by age 20, has half the chance of developing breast cancer, as opposed to a woman who has her first child at around age 30. At the end of 2020, breast cancer became the number one cancer diagnosis - overtaking lung cancer. Only 1% of those who contract breast cancer are males. Women with 10 or more lifetime sexual partners have a 91% higher risk of developing breast cancer. (Males also have a higher risk of contracting cancer if they have multiple sexual partners, but their higher risk is only half that of the women's figure of 91%). Research suggests that 78% of woman regret hook-ups. They are more depressed afterwards; have lower self-esteem and higher general distress. Many wanted to end the relationship. Hormonal birth control can make a woman attracted to a genetically unsuited man. Then coming off the hormonal birth control may affect her attraction towards that hook-up partner. She sees him through a different lens; more of a friend or close relative!Very credible research has shown that hormonal birth controls have a 100% increased likelihood of increasing depression levels in females; particularly those aged 15 to 19. (The sample size was over 1 million Danish woman who had been followed up for over 15 years). That is a very big and very credible study. Bring all those influences together - increased depression, raised blood clots and cancer risks, hormonal birth control adversely impacting females sex drive - we see a problem out there at work and not even recognised.(All credit to Joe Malone PhD, CFE, LWMC, CPT, The Sexual Integrity Scientist, https://www.drjoemalone.com/, Author: Battles of the Sexes, Founder: Sex IQ, https://www.sexiq.org/)Why not interact with me about these Podcasts. Let's focus on women - in this Episode: What females need to know about themselves: Early sexual arousal rate will influence later addiction to porn. Females are more vulnerable to succumbing to sex addiction where they experienced frequent sexual arousal at an early age.Alcohol consumption raises both sexes testosterone levels up to a point; but testosterone levels increase much more in females, with alcohol consumption. Females can then do out of character behaviours and become a very different person when they have consumed alcohol. If females are not on birth control or near their ovulatory window (eg day 8 to day 14) and they have consumed alcohol, they could have the same testosterone level as a male. Even if she is not consuming alcohol during that ovulating window, she will still have a much higher sex drive than other females, during that ovulatory window. So, be aware of the impact of consuming alcohol during that period! Behaviour (sexually) may be very different. That may include dressing more provocatively or more flirtatious; yet, at the same time, be less self-aware. Females are much more vulnerable. Not a great combination!Female anatomy makes them more vulnerable to STIs. The vagina has a thinner layer of skin; is moister and warmer for harbouring bacterial growth and yeast infection. STIs are often asymptomatic. Females may then experience such conditions as pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis; which can eventually lead to infertility. On average, females have eight times higher HIV risk and four times higher Gonorrhoea risk. That risk significantly increases with anal sex. HIV risk goes up 17 times with anal sex. If they begin their menstruation early, it increases their risk of uterine cancer. Early promiscuity leads to increased risk of vaginal and cervical cancer. Non-breast feeding increases the risk of developing ovarian and uterine cancer. Therefore, we observe that sexual activity in younger years, affects sexual health. Got to admit, this science stuff is interesting - if it is true! There are three areas in the male brain that is over twice the size of the female brain:1) The area that contributes to men having a roving eye and scanning the terrain for females; 2) A part of the hypothalamus (which is the seat of human sexuality); 3) The amygdala (which is the brain's command and control area). All three react to testosterone - which is much higher in males than in females. There is a process which binds all these sex hormones together. Woman have 13 times more of that bonding hormone than men. That creates a high mismatch concerning sex drive processes between males and females. Males tend to over perceive a woman's sexual interest, when in fact she is just being nice. Males are more likely to interpret such signals/activities as sexual interest. Females tend to under perceive men's sexual interest. When males become aroused, they change (in an ethical way) as to (negative) things they would not usually do. When aroused, they do things that normally they would not do when unaroused. Males can be a wholly different person aroused to when unaroused. The neurochemicals in a male's semen affects a woman psychologically, in a positive way. The endorphins, serotonin, prolactin and FSH are beneficial for bonding if the female is in a relationship where she wants to bond for long term partnership/marriage and maybe a later pregnancy. The problem is that this process is still at work in relationships that are transient - even when bonding is not a desire!(All credit to Joe Malone PhD, CFE, LWMC, CPT, The Sexual Integrity Scientist, https://www.drjoemalone.com/, Author: Battles of the Sexes, Founder: Sex IQ, https://www.sexiq.org/)What does all this mean for you?Presented by The Kairos Centre: bit.ly/pornaddictionhelpThe Kairos Centre created what is probably the world's first comprehensive Online webinar Sex, Porn, Love Addiction video-on-demand Recovery Programme; where you discover the real, authentic you.Bringing colour back to life - without shame.Gary McFarlane BA, LLM, Dip, CertsGary (was formally a Solicitor for many years); is a Relate trained and experienced Relationship counsellor, Mediator and undertakes Sex Therapy & Sex Addiction treatment all of which are undertaken by various online modes including secure webcam, with clients from all parts of the country and abroad. A lot of compact info in this episode. I think my post bag is going to be very full this week with comments about.......!Remember, don't shoot the messenger.Men see promiscuity in a female as a deal breaker when seeking a life-long partner. If a man sees a woman as hard to get for sex, he will instinctively feel that she will more likely be faithful in the long term for partnership/marriage. For males, sexual loyalty and sexual integrity is the most praised and sought after asset and quality in a woman when considering a long term partnership/marriage. This may seem - not very “modern” - but when females are seeking a partner for potential life-long partnership, with whom to have children, she seeks out someone who is likely to be reliable; to be there when she is pregnant – during a vulnerable time in her life whilst carrying the baby; to ensure survival when her body is taking the toll of the pregnancy. (That cave man/ cave woman instinct can't be entirely re-shaped because of a 21st century preferred way of doing life).Paternity certainty is vitally important to a male! A man wants to know that the baby she is carrying belongs to him. (Ultimately, only the woman will carry that knowledge). Men value women who can be trusted in that regards. Therefore, early on in the relationship, men separate women into two categories:1) Easy to get – sexually; or 2) Not easy. The “Not easy” choices become possible long term partner potentials. The “easy sexually” are for hookup and not long term partner potentials.A woman needs dopamine and oxytocin for bonding. It is interesting that after intercourse, a woman's evaluation of the man tends to go up. So, females will more frequently be bonding during the hook-up, but quite the contrary for males. In males, within 10 seconds of orgasm/ejaculation, his evaluation of her may be going down. There is a conflict between males and females during that hook-up situation. It is not a level playing field. Women's bonding is going up and men's bonding is going down. In all your getting, get understanding. What you can better understand, you have then moved it from the unconscious into the conscious. From the unseen, into the seen. Now you get a chance to go after it and effect change. It can never be the same again, because you know what you are doing! Get it?Remember, don't shoot the messenger.Sitting comfortably? Braced? Here we go then:Research in 2006 show that the younger the age that a females experiences arousal, the greater will be the number of casual sex partners she will have. She will have a higher promiscuity rate and an increased openness to more and all sexual things. Therefore, she is more likely to become caught up in porn addiction at a younger age than if the younger age exposure had not happened. They will more likely go against their sexual nature more frequently. She increasingly goes against her natural sexual nature, because of the early arousal experience. Hence the reason why in the future there is likely to be an increase in the number of females addicted to pornography, than in the past or currently.Men need Vasopressin (which is a bonding chemical) before sex. It is what causes the bonding with a female. Therefore, sex without courtship, limits the production of Vasopressin and therefore reduces bonding for males. (All credit to Joe Malone PhD, CFE, LWMC, CPT, The Sexual Integrity Scientist, https://www.drjoemalone.com/, Author: Battles of the Sexes, Founder: Sex IQ, https://www.sexiq.org/)Presented by The Kairos Centre: bit.ly/pornaddictionhelpThe Kairos Centre created what is probably the world's first comprehensive Online webinar Sex, Porn, Love Addiction video-on-demand Recovery Programme; where you discover the real, authentic you.Bringing colour back to life - without shame.Gary McFarlane BA, LLM, Dip, CertsGary (was formally a Solicitor for many years); is a Relate trained and experienced Relationship counsellor, Mediator and undertakes Sex Therapy & Sex Addiction treatment all of which are undertaken by various online modes including webcam such as zoom, Bilateralbase, with clients from all parts of the country and abroad. Oh - yuk! Must we?Well - not preaching to you, but knowing the science done by some very clever people, will help you. Remember what this thing called Therapy is about - certainly Therapy from The Kairos Centre; all about moving as much from the unconscious, into the conscious - then you get a chance to go after what you can now better see and understand - in order to effect change. Get it!Here it go; and don't shoot the messenger please:At puberty, males Androgen levels (such as Testosterone) explode. Particularly between aged 13 To 15. It is 10 to 30 times more. Females Androgen levels only double. So, after puberty it is more difficult to reason with a male than with a female. In otherwards it is better to try reasoning with the female than the male, as the female is likely to be more receptive because of her reduced levels of Androgens - such as Testosterone. Testosterone is a sex seeking hormone. Age 17 is the period of maximum testosterone. Therefore, around that age six times the number of males become addicted to porn than young females........(All credit to Joe Malone PhD, CFE, LWMC, CPT, The Sexual Integrity Scientist, https://www.drjoemalone.com/, Author: Battles of the Sexes, Founder: Sex IQ, https://www.sexiq.org/)Presented by The Kairos Centre: bit.ly/pornaddictionhelpThe Kairos Centre created what is probably the world's first comprehensive Online webinar Sex, Porn, Love Addiction video-on-demand Recovery Programme, where you discover the real, authentic you; get to like you and positioned to become the best that you can be and on the journey, Recover and gain Sobriety from Sex, Porn, Love Addiction -being used by many hundreds through the world.Bringing colour back to life - without shame.Gary McFarlane BA, LLM, Dip, CertsGary (was formally a Solicitor for many years); is a Relate trained and experienced Relationship counsellor, Mediator and undertakes Sex Therapy & Sex Addiction treatment all of which are undertaken by various online modes including webcam such as zoom, Bilateralbase, with clients from all parts of the country and abroad. When it comes to sex: “According to Chapman, the five "love languages" are: words of affirmation (compliments) quality time gifts acts of service physical touch Examples are given from his counseling practice, as well as questions to help determine one's own love languages.[2][3] According to Chapman's theory, each person has one primary and one secondary love language.” --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/support

Dr. Jim Bramson Interviews Dr. Marty Klein Dr. Marty Klein has appeared on Oprah and Dr. Phil sharing his expertise on sex. He covers many topics in this podcast, including pornography (His Porn, Her Pain), the U.S's war on sex, cultural differences in sexual expression and repression, how men and women are more alike than different, parenting non-binary or LBGTQIA children. Going beyond knowing which pronoun to use. Dr. Klein is smart, witty, and pragmatic. He breaks down what we should all know about sex, but are afraid to ask. After listening to this podcast, you may want to purchase one of his books listed below or subscribe to his news letter, You Tube channel, or —if you are lucky enough to get an appointment— work with Marty. Dr. Klein trains clinicians at major conferences throughout the world, has a travel log, and plays music in his spare time. Jim coaxed Marty into training EBMC clinicians. He is teaching his staff couples therapy and sex therapy. Dr. Klein has participated in Drinks with Shrinks events and other WCMI activities as part of Jim's networking group for professionals. In fact, Dr. Klein will be doing a course for WCMI, focused on helping parents. He will cover many contemporary topics, including how to connect with your non-binary teen. Marty is an original thinker. He demystifies many of our assumptions about human sexuality. He also knows what will help most of us experience greater intimacy with our partners. Dr. Klein has helped many couples experience greater sexual gratification by learning how to communicate better with one another. Bobbi is an entrepreneur, business professional, mother of two, and accidental author of Sexual Intelligence in Business, a book that she felt compelled to write in response to the new obstacles we all face in a #metoo era and what appears to be a new form of sexual repression brewing. Eternally outspoken, she was inspired by Women and Gender Studies at McGill University and her experience building a business in a male-dominated sector. Earning a degree in Political Science affords her a diverse lens to view the world and how people, institutions, and organizations make decisions and navigate power relations. Bobbi is a strong advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion, and co-founded WIN4Science to encourage young women scientists to remain in academia. Bobbi has worked in nearly every sector and industry, from corporate, non-profit, government, arts, academia, startup and venture capital. She has acquired education from over six institutions in the areas of humanities, accounting, arts, and social enterprise. This gives her a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience that is extremely unique…and oh, the stories she tells! Taking this expertise and insights, Bobbi created imagine ideation, a firm that moves ideas forward by connecting experiences and ecosystem diplomacy. With such an intensely varied background, she is able to facilitate discussions between sectors and disciplines that may not normally understand each other. As a natural networker and constant connector, Bobbi participates as a mentor to startups, taking on board member and advisory roles. There is much to accomplish in this world, and it is important to Bobbi that she makes a positive contribution to society and that her work has an impact. Bobbi believes strongly that Love, Sex and Power in Business are the engines that drive everything. We cannot separate these primal components. As a girl from Saskatchewan, Bobbi hopes that her legacy and contribution to society will reflect her efforts in breaking down sex taboos. As a change agent and a fierce sex-positive advocate, Bobbi is fighting for a sex-friendly world, one opinion at a time. In this episode, Roy discusses the issues surrounding making smart sexual choices. No other issue can lead to such pleasure or pain, and so it's a critically important issue to discuss. Roy talks about the three waves of the sexual revolution. The first occurred in the mid sixties when we evolved beyond sexual repression to sexual expression. The second occurred because of STD's and AIDS, causing us to embrace safe sex. And now we're in the middle of the third wave, which is the movement toward smart sex. Roy shares that smart sex is recognizing that sex can be a celebration of either chemistry or commitment—two very different things—and understanding the difference is the key to a happy heart rather than a broken heart. Don't miss this important discussion. In this episode, I talk about how transformation begins when we start infringing upon and crossing personal boundaries. The topic of this episode comes from a passage in a book called Sexual Intelligence authored by Dr. Marty Klein.
Today we Decode...Sexual Intelligence. How comfortable are you discussing sex with the important people in your life, your partner, younger generation, or doctors? As we move forward in our adulting journeys, we look back retrospectively on our own knowledge and comfort with sex and sexuality while also looking prospectively at how we can begin to have these discussions with the younger generations that we now care for and interact with. We are joined by Felicia Washington-Brown, Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife as she helps us decode this and other adulting topics.

Multiple Intelligence Theory points out the many ways we can be smart in our lives besides reading, writing and math. Some are gifted at dance or sports. Musical intelligence, social awareness, even contemplation and self awareness can be valuable skill sets if viewed from this perspective. We all have many ways we are talented or intelligent, though we may not recognize them. Acknowledging and appreciating our own unique configuration of intelligence is important and affirming. Knowing where we are highly developed and where we are underdeveloped can give us helpful perspective and provide new resources for personal growth and transformation we hadn't known were there. Here are some of the ways we can be smart: -Linguistic Intelligence: verbal skills, good with words, reading and writing -Logical Intelligence: problem solving, mechanical skills, science and math -Physical/kinesthetic Intelligence: dancing, athletics, motor skills, driving, physical labor -Emotional Intelligence: empathy, compassion, awareness of felt experience including intuition -Social/Interpersonal Intelligence: good with groups of people, leadership, cooperation -Intra-personal Intelligence: Deep relationship with the self, contemplation, introspection -Sexual Intelligence: ability to tune into self and others sexually, give and receive physical pleasure and passion -Musical Intelligence: loves listening to music, able to write, play, perform or compose music -Spacial Intelligence: visual art, design, architecture, decorating, fashion -Spiritual Intelligence: tuned in to the Universal Life Force, God or Spirit within or underlying all things -Gifted with Children or Animals Howard Gardiner Multiple Intelligence Theory Learning Styles Quiz Support Spiritual Psychology on Patreon! This podcast episode was originally recorded for "Mormon Sex Info" Podcast. It's now being refurbished for your enjoyment here at the "Healing Sols Podcast." For more from Natasha Helfer, LCMFT, CST, CSTS, please visit https://www.natashahelfer.com. Natasha Helfer Parker interviews Richard and Lawrence Siegel, in the continuing discussion of why the framing of sexual issues as addiction is problematic. What are the neurological/medical explanations currently taking place within the sexual field? What are the diagnostic implications? What is the research that has been happening for the last 20 years on these issues? Is research interpreted and applied correctly? What do many of the terms being thrown around even mean? And can evidence-based/peer-reviewed research truly be found to support the addiction model for treating sexual problems? What happens when we look at our sexual behavior from the lens of it being broken, and even diseased? How does this affect such things as personal and relational trust? What are some of the issues that we should be talking or concerned about when it comes to sexual functioning? How should we treat and address sexual problems if we are not going to use an addiction model? Richard and Lawrence Siegel will be presenting at the University of Utah on April 22, 2016 for a training hosted by the Mormon Mental Health Association called: Challenging the Sex Addiction Model (meant for mental health practitioners but offering a rate for the general public). The Siegels often refer to the position the MMHA recently took sharing their concerns for the high frequency of sex addiction treatment being used to treat either unwanted sexual behavior (usually due to religious values) or sexual dysfunction within the Mormon population: Position on “Sex/Porn Addiction.” Richard M. Siegel, LMHC, CST is a Florida-licensed Mental Health Counselor, Director of the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, a Florida Board Certified Sex Therapist and Qualified Supervisor, and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, Supervisor of Sex Therapy, and Provider of Continuing Education. He has a rich experiential background, including over 20 years as a sexuality educator and fifteen years in private sex therapy practice. In addition to his private practice in Boca Raton, Florida, Mr. Siegel is an adjunct faculty member at Palm Beach State College and enjoys a national reputation as a respected trainer, supervisor and conference presenter. Lawrence Siegel, MA, CSE is a Clinical Sexologist and sexuality education consultant. He is the founder and serves on the Board of Directors of Sage Institute for Family Development, a non-profit training and counseling center in Florida. Today we are going to talk about sex! Who doesn’t love talking about sex? Right?!? Well, the reality is that many people certainly enjoy sex, but actually talking about it is something that becomes awkward or uncomfortable for them. For today’s interview, we are going to add an extra layer to that level of awkwardness and talk about how to talk to you kids about sex. Yes, its time to talk about how to have The Talk. My guest is Dr Lanae St John. She is a board certified sexologist. Dr St John helps individuals and couples get comfortable with their own sexuality through coaching sessions, workshops and lots of free, informative , and even some fun exercises to try with your partner. She also has a side of her work that focuses on how to help parents get comfortable talking about sex with their kids. Her book, Read Me, A Parental Primer for the Talk is a comprehensive guide to understanding so much about developing sexuality and also how to conduct quote unquote, the talk. In this interview, Dr. St John and I cover so much. Here’s the highlightsWhy “the Talk” is a series of conversations over your child’s lifetime. What is the right age to talk about touching? What you miss out on if you leave your child’s sex education up to Google or other kids. Her very clear and helpful Five Building Blocks of The Talk – this is the topics to cover. They aren’t all covered at every age, but they are a guide to know how the conversation will grow over the years. The importance of explaining pleasure. The ever so important topic of why and how to talk to your kids when your notice their body changing and growing into pubertyDiscussing and knowing the differences between healthy touch and unhealthy touch. There is definitely healthy, age-appropriate exploration, even though it seems stories of molestation run rampant. I wanted Lanae to help us understand how we can even start to gauge that. How to talk about body image, self esteem, hygiene with grace and a preservation of your child’s self-esteem. There are times when you will be reassuring your child that what’s happening is normal, and there are definitely times in life when you may need to point out things about them (for instance poor hygiene or when the reach the time in life when they need deodorant), where care and tact will need to be employed. Our last topic is just how to actually start the conversation, this conversation that lasts throughout your child’s life. For the non-parents who found this (and listened to the episode)- well, first, off, thanks! I don’t have kids either, I found this informative and I'm sharing this episode with my friends to help them with their kids. I hop you do too.. In case, you found this episode or post because you are looking to get more comfortable with talking about sex with your partner, Dr. St John can certainly help you out there too. As I mentioned in the beginning of the episode, she definitely works with adults. I’d encourage you to go to her website TheMamaSutra.net – I seriously spent about an hour on it the other night, downloading some free guides(see links below) and reading through blog posts and advice questions. A couple of the freebies available on her website are how to get a little bit more playful with your partner and also a guide to exploring your own genitals. The guide to On one hand, it can help you, the adult get more familiar with your own body parts in case you need to tell a dr about something, but it can also help you, again in using the correct words when talking to your kids about their body parts. We can never have too much information when it comes to good sex and taking care of our body. I do hope you enjoyed this epsidisde and your subsequent journey on her website – and of course, Id encourage all parents to pick up her book – Read Me, A Parental Primer for the Talk. Of course, you can find Dr. St John’s book, along with all ther books of the guests of this podcast on my coaching through chaos bookshelf on amazon. There will be links to all the freebies and the book on the show notes for this episode. – just in case you want to circle back to pick up thos items later, you can always find it at coachingthroughchaospodcast.com OK – coming up I have a conversation with a fellow podcaster. The Siegels often refer to the position the MMHA recently took sharing their concerns for the high frequency of sex addiction treatment being used to treat either unwanted sexual behavior (usually due to religious values) or sexual dysfunction within the Mormon population: Position on "Sex/Porn Addiction." Richard M. Lawrence Siegel, MA, CSE Lawrence Siegel, MA is a Clinical Sexologist and sexuality education consultant. He is the founder and serves on the Board of Directors of Sage Institute for Family Development, a non-profit training and counseling center in Florida.
