Victoria de Max Verstappen que suma ya 57 en total y tres esta temporada. - Pasamos a los nuestros, nuevo fin de semana espectacular de Carlos Sainz que suma su tercer podio de la temporada. Cuenta sus participaciones como podiums esta temporada. - Fernando Alonso hace una carrera que, según él, está entre las 5 mejores de su historia. Las simulaciones le daban P9 y logró un P6 saliendo desde la P5. Además, volvió a jugar con sus perseguidores para mantener su posición. - El juego del DRS no le gustó a George Russell, que supongo que buscaba que sancionen a Fernando Alonso de nuevo… Curiosamente, a pocas vueltas del final, forzó a Óscar Piastri fuera de pista, frenando en un punto distinto al de las vueltas anteriores… Recordemos que por esto metieron 20 segundos a Fernando en el pasado Gran Premio. - Sergio Checo Pérez consigue una fantástica segunda posición en un fin de semana en el que, tras hacer una gran clasificación a la altura de Max Verestappen, pudo tener un domingo mucho más tranquilo. - Toto Wolf ha dicho cosas muy buenas sobre Max Verstappen últimamente, y esto se lo comentaban al neerlandés en la entrevista post-podium. - Primera carrera en la que tenemos degradaciones altas por la subida de temperatura y vemos una carrera “algo” más interesante. - No quería hablar de él, porque no quiero que me tachen de anti-Leclerc, pero ciertamente, no está siendo el Charles Leclerc que se esperaba en este inicio de temporada - Cómo siempre, me gusta dar un vistazo a la parte baja, y hoy toca hablar de la gran carrera de Yuki Tsunoda, dos carreras consecutivas puntuando. Próxima carrera Gran Premio de China que se disputará a las 9:00 de la mañana del domingo 21 de Abril en el Circuito Internacional de Shangai. Un circuito construido en 2003 con capacidad para 200k espectadores, diseñado por el mago de los circuitos el señor Hermann Tilke y que se inauguró el 6 de junio de 2004. Tiene una longitud de 5,4 km y 14 curvas. El principal desafío que presenta Shanghai es la inusual y asombrosa primera curva, que consiste en una inclinada curva a la derecha que se va cerrando gradualmente, lo que dificulta la trayectoria de los pilotos. Además, resalta, como es típico en los circuitos diseñados por Tilke, la larga recta posterior que culmina en una horquilla que incita a los intentos de adelantamiento. También se caracteriza por una combinación de curvas de alta y baja velocidad, especialmente algunas de ellas bastante extensas, lo que pondrá a prueba las habilidades de los pilotos para controlar los monoplazas sin la ayuda de tracción, haciendo que la destreza en el manejo sea crucial en China. ¡Vótame en los Premios iVoox 2023! Entramos en semana de Gran Premio, después de un descansito tras el GP de Qatar, que nos ha venido muy bien. Así que los dos programas de las emana se van a dedicar a preparar el fin de semana en el COTA. Y tras esta carrera, seguirán más carreras en territorio americano, ya con los campeonatos resueltos, pero no por ello nos vamos de dejar de divertir y disfrutar del deporte que más nos gusta. Un formato nuevo en América. Volvemos a tener fin de semana con Sprint. Vamos a ver cómo se comporta en un circuito tan espectacular como es el Circuit Of The Americas, al que Pirelli lleva los compuestos medios de la gama, con el C2 como blanco/duro, C3 como medio/amarillo y C4 como rojo/blando. Son los mismos compuestos que se usaron el año pasado para la carrera, que fue con el formato tradicional. Recordamos que, al ser un fin de semana con formato “Sprint”, tan sólo habrá una sesión de entrenamientos, el viernes, para luego celebrarse, ese mismo día, la clasificación. El sábado es “un paréntesis”, donde se celebrar el Sprint Shootout y la carrera Sprint, para el domingo celebrar la carrera completa con el orden de salida decidido el viernes. 75 Grandes Premios en Estados Unidos. Este será el Gran Premio número 75 que se celebre en Estados Unidos, que ha tenido 11 sedes para las carreras de este Campeonato. Ni siquiera Austin es la sede con más carreras celebradas, pues sólo ha acogido 10, frente a las 20 de Watkins Glen y las 19 de Indianápolis. En cuanto al COTA, uno de los circuitos favoritos de pilotos y aficionados, no es extraña la preferencia por él: sus curvas, diseñadas por Tilke, están inspiradas en curvas de otros circuitos famosos, como Silverstone, Hockenheimring o el Istambul Park. La primera curva es una de las más atractivas del Campeonato: una curva a izquierdas que llega después de una subida de 22 metros de desnivel y 200 metros de longitud. Otra de las características distintivas del COTA es la época del año en que se celebra la carrera, el otoño, que suele ser dar días muy cambiantes. En Austin pueden pasar del sol a la lluvia en pocas horas, uniendo esto a una amplia gama de temperaturas. Una atracción añadida al fin de semana. Para añadir más interés al fin de semana, Liberty ha decidido que la F1 Academy haga su aparición junto a la F1 este fin de semana en Texas. Para la F1 Academy será la última carrera de la temporada, aunque en realidad serán 3 carreras y de ellas saldrá la campeona inaugural de este campeonato. Marta García (Prema) lidera actualmente el Campeonato con 235 puntos, seguida de Lena Buhler (ART Grand Prix) con 187 puntos. After two bangers in Bahrain, Formula 1 moved to its season finale in Abu Dhabi, where the Tilke designed Yas Marina Circuit offered us fireworks but only in the literal sense. P3 in the constructors was on the line between Renault, Racing Point, and McLaren, yet McLaren showed up with some smooth operating that has the boys wondering if the upward trend with the woking outfit is a sign of things to come.
