On this episode of #SoLA, Camille and Charlie are back with the long-awaited third season. Like many long-awaited sequels, it’s clunky. But it wouldn’t be #SoLA if it weren’t! Naturally, a six month break means there is a lot to catch up on- Charlie is a Meat Reducer now! Camille is allergic to rosé! Lots of opinions about A Star Is Born! Of course, Charlie’s show Weird City aired… but they barely talk about that. Instead, Charlie tries to get back the Vampire Charbriel Byrne voice and Camille tries to remember the theme song to the show-within-a-show on Extras. They debate which Kevin Smith movie which season of #SoLA is, the secret Bill Cosby was trying to tell us and whether The Secret works or not.  There are new Harold Team names, a new prodcuer (Hi, Anosh!), new routes, new games and eventually, they do talk about LA. A little.

U drugoj epizodi podkasta „Prvi red“ predstavljamo svog prvog gosta: scenaristu i filmskog znalca Dimitrija Vojnova. Slede vesti... Priča o zombi komediji Džima Džarmuša koja će otvoriti ovogodišnji Kanski festival, te najave povratka serije „Dedvud“ i animirane verzije „Porodice Adams“. Biće reči i o predstojećem Beldoksu, premijeri „Nebeske teme“ Mladena Matičevića i promociji kniige „The Best Serbian Film of 21st Century“. Za sam kraj: rubrika „Retro“ i krimić „Nož“ (1962) velikog Živorada Žike Mitrovića.

Kat, Leo, and Bcom return to discuss week 5 of the Winter 2019 Anime season. We kick off the podcast with some brief thoughts about the results of the Crunchyroll anime awards, which we obviously don’t agree with. Afterwards we chat about some of the nonsense we’ve been up to before jumping into Mob Psycho 100 II. Episode 5 was a showcase for some of the most spectacular animation in a TV anime in quite some time. The Run With the Wind boys take one step closer to the Hakone Ekiden, which took Kakeru turning into a glowing blue god of running to accomplish. It’s a fairly uneventful week in Kemurikusa so we breeze past that and jump into The Promised Neverland where we re-evaluate our suppositions regarding future developments of the show, and poke some fun at Norman and Ray in the process. The Golden Experience boys struggle to avoid frostbite when they face off with Ghiaccio on the road to Venezia. Leo can’t believe Giorno didn’t think of transforming them into Water Bears. But, everything up until this point was just an appetizer. The main course is Domestic Girlfriend episode 5. Bcom believes it’s possibly the greatest episode of anime yet envisioned. Mob Psycho tried, but it was like administering your medicine orally. Sure, it’ll do the trick eventually, but if you want fast-acting anime relief, you need to go to the source. Natsuo needs only support Rui by supplying supreme suppositories superbly to suppress his stepsister’s supplication. It’s a super good episode. We move onto Kaguya where Chika’s love advice involves reaffirming that they do indeed live in a society, and she will raise these boys to become respectable men. We finish off with the depressing first half of a two-part Dororo episode where Hyakkimaru finds his first love in the soothing presence of Mio, the protector of an orphanage ravaged by the ongoing wars.Recorded February 18, 2019. They talk about their first impressions of each other and how Eug could be a little brutal at times. Then Charlie tells his story and how his unsupportive father caused him to squander some natural strength and made him miss the boat on sports. But his story has a happy ending as he found gyms at different times of his life and his wife really helped him get on the right track. Also, Charlie had a bad experience with a gym and the guys encourage him to rant about it; everyone lays out what you should expect from your gym. Happy New Year!!!“2019 is gonna be LIT!!!”

"The Civil War has left scars both physical and unseen. Few towns in the South have escaped devastation, but one has been left mysteriously unscathed. After Union scouts survive a harrowing battle with Rebel soldiers, they seek help for a wounded man in Old Hollow. Instead of aid, they encounter a nervous woman who warns them to leave, a doctor who seems strangely reluctant to help, and a preacher who ministers to his congregation in a most unusual way. There is evil in Old Hollow, but it may not be solely supernatural. It may also be in the deeds people do to one another and the lengths they will go to to save their own skins."
