5 Fresh Tips to Help You Land on Your Feet After a Major Transition or Reinvention with Reinvention & Transitions Coach Meg Trucano Learning how to land on your feet after a major transition can be overwhelming, but you're not alone! Check out these 5 Fresh Tips to help you land on your feet after a major transition or reinvention with reinvention and transitions coach Meg Trucano. I am a reinvention & transitions coach for women. A psychologist by training, I specialize in empowering women to embrace change, transition, and reinvention by aligning their resources (time, energy, attention, money, space) with their deepest, most authentic desires--and get exactly what they want. My clients are hard-working women have reached a point of success in their careers, but they find themselves feeling weary, exhausted, or empty and seek that “something else” to bring more meaning, purpose, and authenticity into their lives. Through my coaching, I help my clients find the clarity, contentment, and momentum to reclaim the vision they once had for their one wild and precious lives. You can learn more about Meg Trucano on her Fresh Starts profile. 5 Fresh Tips to help grow you land on your feet after a major transition: Acknowledge that you are not crazy, making things up, or being dramatic if you are feeling like things aren't quite right, or if you need a change. That's your intuition talking, but people socialized as women are often conditioned by society and by the expectations of others to suppress their "drama," and are criticized for "overthinking" things when they feel that something is off. In reality, the feeling that something is off is our subconscious running up a red flag that we are out of alignment with what we truly believe in or want for ourselves. Whether you are switching careers or reinventing another major part of your life, trust that you can land on your feet on the other side of that major change. There are scores of women who have left toxic relationships, unsupportive friendships, and terrible jobs. They are now thriving, and look back only to realize they wish they'd made the leap sooner. Trust your own ability to adapt to change. Find your support crew. These will be people that will encourage you and support you, whatever that change looks like. Hopefully, these people are the ones closest to you–family, friends, your community–but sometimes, these are the people who will resist your change the most. Be mindful that your support crew may look differently than you hope, but there are people out there who will support you through whatever changes you want to make. And don't forget that there are likely others just like yourself who want to change in a similar way to you–find those people and support each other. Believe that your happiness and well-being are worth something, both to you and to the rest of the world. Don't fall for the trap of believing that what you want should come after everyone else's needs and wants. Your wellbeing shouldn't be an afterthought, something to “get to” once everything else has been ticked off of your to-do list. You have a right to be here. You have a right to take up space. You have a right to show up as the best version of yourself. And when you do show up as the best version of yourself, the world benefits. Realize that wanting something more in your life does not make you selfish for wanting it OR ungrateful for what you already have. Cultivate a gratitude practice to ground yourself in the comfort of what you do have, and savor that frequently. Do this while at the same time acknowledging that there is more in this life for you if you want it, and have the courage to pursue it. Oh, and don't forget to have FUN with it–the possibilities for you are truly boundless and infinite.

Last week I polled my Instagram and asked, “are you in a season of change in your business?” and 96% said either “changing SO much” or “changing a little.” I'm honestly not surprised with those results, because this time of year (halfway through) is when a lot of people evaluate the first 6 months and see if they're on track to reach their 2023 goals or even see if those goals are in alignment anymore. In this episode not only do I break down my APEC framework (a process to audit your business to see what's keeping you stuck, what's working, where you have potential to grow & what you need to remodel in your biz to get there) but I also share a sometimes ugly truths most entrepreneurs need to deal with when faced with this need to change. It involves our lovely EGO (oh so fun). Strap in my friend, because this is a juicy episode and one worth listening to TWICE. In working with Coach Meg for the last several months, she's done exactly that. In this Better@Work episode, we chat with the amazing Margaret Moore aka “Coach Meg,” who is the founder and CEO of Wellcoaches, an evidenced-based wellness coaching school, that has trained over 14,000 coaches in 50 countries over the past 20 years. We might assume coaches are used only in the world of sport, however, Margaret has been helping people from all walks of life discover their strengths and identify opportunities to maximize their potential — in work, in relationships, and in life. The former biotech exec founded the Wellcoaches School of Coaching to help wellness professionals best serve their patients. Since then, she's has added students from the business world, front-line healthcare workers and the police. On this episode, the Coach's Coach details what effective coaching really means; how leaning into doubt, or “our shadow,” can help us reveal patterns we need to change; and why organizing our minds can set us up for sustainable success. She shares how getting into moments of flow every day is nourishing, how we can all be better coaches and we hear her story of not making it in Toronto. Margaret Moore is an executive wellness coach and co-author of Organize Your Mind, Organize Your Life: Train Your Brain to Get More Done in Less Time and Organize Your Emotions, Optimize Your Life. She has driven the professionalization of health coaching in two related domains: constructing a theoretical base for the practice, and evaluating results to establish best practices. Margaret is the co-director of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital (a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School) and the founder and CEO of Wellcoaches Corporation, a leading coach training school. This episode is super informative and Margaret teaches us how to apply some of the latest research in neuroscience in our everyday lives, making them less stressful and more relaxed. Quick episode breakdown: Margaret discusses Self-Determination Theory, which suggests we are motivated to grow and change by three innate and universal psychological needs; competence, connection and autonomy We explore how Neuroscientists have opened a window into the disorganized minds of those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), providing insights into how to train our brains to become more organised Margaret talks through the strong connection between disorganised minds and unhealthy habits We learn why Margaret and her co-author Paul Hammerness translated the science of brain organisation into six principles or “rules of order” We explore the 6 rules of order; Tame Your Frenzy, Sustain Your Focus, Apply the brakes, Access your working memory, Shift Sets and Connect the Dots. Let's Take This offline In our “Let's take this offline” segment I debrief on Margaret's key insights with my friend Annette and answer a question from our listener Steven, who has returned to work from parental leave and both he and his partner are really struggling. Today's topic is one that comes up often. How do we approach coaching with the client who didn't ask to be coached? We are taking a close look at the coaching relationship with someone who has volunteered or feels like they've been “sentenced” into coaching. There are some unique considerations in setting up this kind of partnership. Let's talk about it. Show Highlights: What might lead someone into coaching who didn't ask for it themselves Why this could be a low-trust or uncertain situation for the client How the coach can find out what the organization's expectations are for this kind of coaching relationship Why guidelines have to be established about confidentiality and communication How I like to start off, in the beginning, to set the client up for success How to be clear about what the coaching process requires from the client How to revisit the coaching agreement if they don't show up or want to pull out of the program How I have noticed an overall lack of trust as a major issue with these clients An example of how I set up structured coaching around a resource with success How to handle those who simply don't want to be coached Why it is always important to find out what the motivation is for a client to be coached Resources: Follow us onhttps://www.facebook.com/STaRCoachShow ( Facebook)! On this episode of Soul Stories, Dr Randall has a fascinating conversation with Meg Meg is a life coach, Hypnotherapist, blogger and event host that is passionate about walking with people who want more out of life than just the status quo!She believes that life doesn't have to work out exactly the way we think it “should” in order to be enjoyed and that people don't have to be perfect in order to be loved. She believes that we all have the voice of truth inside of us but sometimes it can be hard to hear. And most importantly that we must live between the tension of accepting the things we cannot change and taking massive action on the things we can!Meg creates spaces where women can slow down and process all the things that are influencing and controlling their lives - their everyday thoughts, emotions, and the stories they have been telling themselves. Spaces where they can look at their inner world, gain valuable insight and then reclaim their personal authority, and make conscious decisions that transform the way they experience their lives!Through one on one coaching, group coaching and workshops, Meg helps women show up in the world with more love, and less ego, more compassion, and less judgment, more vulnerability, and less shame, more emotional agility and less fear!Meg is also on the Board of Directors for Happy Healthy Women GlobalMeg lives in BC with her husband of 21 years, two teenage boys and their little dog Charlie. Today's special guest, Meg Nocero, is a tiara wearing self-proclaimed dreamer seeking to inspire others. Her mantra is, "Magical work for magical pay, magical service every magical day." On a constant basis she lives life expecting magic and miracles. When her mother, who had always been her support person, died in 2011, Meg lost her way. Navigating the grieving process, she turned to writing daily as a healing tool. This routine led her to complete her first book, a self-help guide that empowered readers to step into the unknown and wake up to a universe packed with possibility, which is exactly what happened to her. as she wrote it. She realized, that even though we face a lot of obstacles in life, we never really lose the dream inside. Today, Meg looks to other dreamers in her world to guide her journey;those who are seeking to follow their own bliss so she can learn the wisdom from them that is so readily available to all of us. We only need to reach out our hands to ask. She "looks for magical unicorns among herds of goats," and never gives up. She looks for things that will lift her soul, knowing that there is always something wonderful waiting for her. Meg Nocero, former Department of Homeland Security attorney, is the queen of magical manifestation, an award-winning author of The Magical Guide to Bliss, Daily Keys to Unlock Your Dreams, Spirit and Inner Bliss an her newest book, the memoir Butterfly Awakens. She is a highly sought-after keynote speaker and coach. Inspired when she stood on stage with Oprah Winfrey in front of 15,000 people in Miami encouraged to live the life she always wanted, she left the security of a nearly 20-year career as an experienced federal attorney to follow her dream in a “bigger classroom” sharing expertise and experience to help frustrated creatives align with purpose, realize their dream and get results.

It is officially summer! And we could not be more excited!! We thought it would be fun to share our favorite summer memories from when we were kids, since summer marked the end of the school year & summer vacation was actually a thing -- remember those days? For anyone who hasn't heard of the term “Hot Girl Summer” just yet, Coach Meg aka Megan thee Stallion said it best -- “Hot girl summer is about just being you, just having fun. It's turning up, driving the boat, and not giving a damn about what nobody's saying.” Welp, we don't have a boat, but we're ready to not give a damn and turn UP this summer! Even if it means turning up under the covers with a nice, cozy nap :). What are you excited for this summer?? "What In The Wellness?!" A global perspective on integrative health &wellness Hosted by Ansley Knopf
In this episode, I sit down to chat with Meg Stolt, She is a runner and Triathlete turned coach after a variety of circumstances that showed me how much she loves teaching and coaching. She has achieved both her BA and MS and am invested in girls (of all ages) in sports. Among her other accomplishments, she holds both the USA Triathlon Youth and Junior Elite Certification. Her writing includes Continuing Education for the AEA, and presenting includes the International Aquatic Fitness Conference, as well as a variety of guest lectures and workshops. She says: "My emphasis is performance and I currently own the OtterTriTeam and the PinkOtters (a women's triathlon team). Both teams are about having fun while challenging our limits. One of my professional goals for 2021, is to increase the growth of the PinkOtters, as well as my HighSchool Tri Team, providing more opportunities for young women to compete." Meg has excellent advice for women, athletes, and just life in general! Her one takeaway piece of actionable advice? "Eat the Cake. Nike says, just do it. We have all these rules for our journey. The do's and dont's and we get so caught up in those, we miss the adventure. So take a moment and eat the cake. Laugh out loud. Enjoy the process." She recommends the following books and podcasts for personal growth: I just finished reading Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey. I loved this book. So many takeaways to living. On IG: I love @mosssportsperformance — he shares his coaching, but also awesome posts about team culture and building character and teams. Podcasts: the growth equation by Brad Stulberg and Steve Magness (their books Peak Performance and Passion Paradox are on my shelf) And Young Heretics — I love the discussion of literature, how it may apply to today's society and culture. After reviewing Marie’s effort to take time for lunch, Dr. Schwab introduces her to Margaret Moore, MBA (a.k.a. Coach Meg), founder of the first health and wellness coaching school in the United States. Coach Meg points out that physicians are trained first and foremost to focus on their patients' well-being and often feel guilty when they pause to take care of themselves. "We’re not a healthy society, emotionally or physically. And it’s hard to imagine us getting that [patient care] done without the health care workforce also being well." Coach Meg presents multiple definitions of well-being and delineates the relationship between resilience and positive emotions. Maintaining an upbeat, open-minded, and flexible perspective may counteract the stress encountered during a busy clinic session. Coach Meg talks to Marie about coaching herself during the course of the work day. Short breaks, deep breaths, and glancing at a pleasant image may be helpful. Meg motivates Marie to take a high-level look at herself and her life, and to start re-examining the path forward and its sustainability. Coach Meg and Dr. Schwab inspire Marie to see if she can begin to locate her own personal “off switch” before the next episode.
You thought this was a show about President Trump, didn't you? Wrong! Today we discuss things that could kill you, otherwise ruin your life, or prove the human race is over. That's right, it's pure comedy gold! Dr. Ankit Mahadevia describes the global threat posed by increasing antibiotic resistant "super bugs." Abby Eisenkraft gives you tax tips that will keep you out of jail. Nutritionista Diana Keuilian explains how to hack recipes to take out all the stuff that is making you sick while still making food taste good. Coach Meg splices your emotional DNA before you fall off the deep end. And Manny the Movie Guy not only reviews this weekend's movies, he explains why La La Land is so popular. Plus Phil and his friends, Gonzo Greg Spillane and Kelly Bennett have these stories to reinforce the idea we are doomed: Massive asteroid is headed towards Earth! U.S. military now has super laser beams. People are saving and preserving the tattoos off the bodies of dearly departed. Beer yoga! The doomsday clock is adjusted CLOSER to midnight. It's a fowl Chinese New Year. VR Smell Porn. Twinkie Ice Cream. And...wait for it...pigs cross bred with human DNA (what could go wrong?) Now if this isn't collective proof we are all doomed, you should listen to this entire episode to hear all the stories we didn't list here.

Margaret Moore on Organize Your Mind, Organize Your Life. Mental Help Net (www.mentalhelp.net) presents the Wise Counsel Podcast (wisecounsel.mentalhelp.net), hosted by David Van Nuys, Ph.D. In this podcast, Margaret Moore talks about the book, Organize Your Mind, Organize Your Life that she co-authored with Harvard psychiatrist Paul Hammerness. Coach Meg said that one of the simplest distinctions that she borrows from her colleague who is the director of our Institute of Coaching is that coaches follow the trail of dreams and therapists follow the trail of tears. Coaches are not in the business of healing. They are not there to fix problems, remedy pathology or really heal from a deep place. Coaches are all about where do I want to go that seems kind of challenging.
Organize your MIND...Organize your LIFE. Train your brain to get more done in less time, by Paul Hammerness, MD, and Margaret Moore with John Hanc. It takes an organized mind to manage a chronic disease such as diabetes, which depends upon a high level of self-vigilance. Managing lifestyle behaviors to keep blood sugars within a healthy range requires an unwavering focus, a flexible and creative mind, and the ability to observe connections and find patterns.Organize Your Mind, Organize Your Life can help.Based on cutting-edge neuroscience, and their work with people who have disorganized minds, Coach Meg and Dr. Hammerness have developed six organizing principles, or Rules of Order, for becoming more focused and resisting distraction. The Rules of Order can help us move from out-of-control frenzy, to develop the skills and behaviors that will enable us to better handle the chaos of daily life, and the demands of our illness. Dr. Hammerness, a clinical researcher on ADHD, is assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an assistant psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. Margaret Moore, MBA ("Coach Meg")Coach Meg, an executive wellness coach, is the co-director of the Institute of Coaching at Mclean Hospital (a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School) and the founder and CEO of Wellcoaches Corporation, a leading coach training school.
