If the title feels aggressive, good—I'm actually back, bitches, and I missed the living sh*t out of this. It's 2026, and we are officially done with the era where work equals suffering; the only sane option left is to turn your business into a masterpiece. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on my radical healing journey, why I killed "Payday with Rayray" to launch Work of Art, and how you can survive the current "trust recession" by treating your brand like world-building. Buckle in, because I'm about to show you how to resurrect your inner artist and get paid for your creative genius before I peace out for motherhood (yep, there's a baby bump involved). Here's a glance at what you'll learn from me in this episode: The Rebrand: Why I shifted from "Payday" to "Work of Art" and why treating your business like an art project is the secret to longevity. The "Trust Recession": Why buyers are skeptical, why connection is the only currency that matters in 2026, and how to build it through a screen. World Building: How to view your personal brand like a fantasy novel (think Harry Potter) to create a community that people never want to leave. The Root System: Why most people fail at branding by focusing on the fruit (money/content) instead of the roots (who you intrinsically are). The Big Announcement: The details on my pregnancy, my upcoming RETIREMENT, and why this is your last chance to work with me. Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction 00:53 - Aggressively returning to the podcast and the table flip of 2023. 03:42 - Why work can be your heaven or your hell, and choosing to make it art. 09:00 - Resurrecting your inner artist 14:50 - The irony of my financial success 18:24 - The Trust Recession: Why shortcuts are destroying influence and how connection saves it. 21:25 - Personal Branding as World Building: Creating a universe for your community. 23:50 - Creator Catalyst: The mastermind for the face of the business. 27:55 - The Plot Twist: I'm pregnant, expecting in May, and retiring (again). Today's conversation In the Den invites us to look closely, to move past what we think we see, and to sit with art that refuses to let us look away. Our guest is Tai Ericson, an artist known for transforming the familiar into the unexpected. Tai's current project is as bold as it is devastating: portraits of murdered trans people created from the pages of Harry Potter books. The author of that series has, for years, contributed purposefully and relentlessly to a culture that vilifies and endangers trans people around the world. In Tai's hands, those pages are no longer a vessel for that harm. They are cut, reassembled, and transformed—destroying the work itself and replacing it with a memorial to someone whose life was taken by the very culture it helped foster. This is a conversation about art as resistance, grief as truth-telling, and what it means to honor trans lives—not abstractly, but by name, by face, and by story. Special Guest: Tai EricsonTai Ericson is a Vermont-based artist transforming the familiar into the unexpected. By amassing everyday objects, often in monumental quantities, he crafts objects that tell one story from afar, then reveal their true identity up close. Tai's current project is creating portraits of murdered trans people using the pages of Harry Potter books. The author has contributed purposefully and relentlessly to a culture that vilifies and endangers trans people around the world. The portrait destroys her work, replacing it with a memorial to someone that lost their life to the culture she fosters.Links from the Show:Tai's website Find Tai on IGGlaad accountability account of JK RowlingJoin Mama Dragons todayIn the Den is made possible by generous donors like you. Writer and ecologist Sophie Strand thinks at a scale that can feel dizzying—in the best way. In a single conversation, she can move from the chemical structure of cells to mushroom spores, from ancient weather gods to mycorrhizal fungi, from Bronze Age collapse to the slow intelligence of soil.In this episode of Wonder Cabinet, we talk with Strand about wonder that doesn't float upward but roots downward—into bodies, ecosystems, decay, and deep time. We begin with her essay “Your Body Is an Ancestor,” published shortly before Halloween and the Day of the Dead, and follow her imagery into our shared prehistoric past. The conversation also explores how Strand's experience of chronic illness reshaped her understanding of nature, selfhood, and health. Rather than seeing the sick body as broken, she turns to ecological metaphors: spider webs, soil structures, caterpillars dissolving inside cocoons. What might it mean to understand ourselves not as machines that fail, but as landscapes that change?Along the way, we talk about fantasy and “romantasy,” Tolkien, Harry Potter, Dramione fan fiction and communal storytelling rituals. This is a conversation about wonder with dirt under its fingernails: embodied, mythic, ecological, and deeply alive to the cycles of death and regeneration that bind us all.---Substack: "Your Body is an Ancestor": https://sophiestrand.substack.com/p/your-body-is-an-ancestorSophie Strand's website:  https://sophiestrand.com/You can follow her work on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cosmogyny/Follow her on Substack:  https://substack.com/@sophiestrandOrder her memoir:  https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/sophie-strand/the-body-is-a-doorway-a-memoir/9780762487417/?lens=running-press---Chapters:00:00:00 Meet Sophie Strand00:04:34 Body as Ancestor00:10:08 Roots of Sin00:18:21 Spores and Consciousness00:27:49 Stories We Can't Explain00:35:39 Science as Wonder---If you love Wonder Cabinet, sign up for email updates and never miss an episode. https://wondercabinetproductions.com/

Her experience spans edtech, higher education, and manufacturing - proving that great storytelling works anywhere there's a human on the other side of the screen. Christina believes that in a world that can feel heavy, social media should be a place for light and joy, where humor, empathy, and the occasional meme remind us we're all still connected. She lives in Birmingham, AL, with her husband Matt, their 7 month old daughter Naomi, their crazy dog Zelda and their sweet parrot Juju. When she's offline, you can find her reading and sipping coffee while snuggling her daughter. Her favorite pizza topping is pepperoni, her favorite thing in life is family and her fun fact? She once wrote Harry Potter fanfiction on Quizilla and honestly, the storytelling hasn't stopped since.

Our Chapter 13 discussion of "The Secret Riddle" is thought-provoking and focused largely on Dumbledore's actions and his intentions, based on what he might have known about things way back in the early 1940's. News: We discuss two new castings for the recent Prisoner of Azkaban full cast audiobook release. Stay tuned for a review of these new audiobooks! The Pensieve memory with Burke might seem different - but we've actually seen something like it before! A Southern Family History Becomes a Gothic Mystery, comes out today, Tuesday, January 27th. How are you feeling?STEVE: I'm feeling like someone who's waiting to hear what their neighbor's baby is gonna be called.BEN: At what point did you realize this story would make a good book?STEVE: I think the inkling of it was when I discovered that not only was my grandmother's version of my family history on my father's side a fiction, but that it didn't even begin to tell the story. And that point was when I discovered that the person I thought was my grandfather could not biologically be my grandfather, since my father was born at least a year and a half after his death.BEN: The evidence strongly suggests your biological grandfather was actually B.H. Drake, a prominent, wealthy merchant in Winston County. That's right. Why do you think the Drake family and the community worked so hard to erase Anna, your grandmother, and her son, your father, from the official record after B.H. married Anna?STEVE: This is all speculation, but I think there were probably two reasons. The first was simply a matter of embarrassment. Here was a man who was a representative of the local Baptist church at the State Baptist Convention. He gave the land on which the local Baptist church was built. His family was very deeply involved in the Baptist Church, and I think the evidence is that he probably began his affair with my grandmother before he was actually divorced from his first wife. So I think there was a real embarrassment about that in a small-town community. The second is, of course, that he died, and as a wealthy man. By law, she should have been one of the heirs of his estate, because at the time of his death, all evidence points to the fact that they were still married—although they may have, by that time, returned to his first wife's estate. So I think that there was this financial interest, that they would want to keep it quiet.I don't think there was a great deal of complicity on the part of the broader community, but it was just something that happened. And in the community, I think like most small towns, these things did happen and most small towns knew about it, but simply let it play out on its own terms.BEN: You devote part of the book to your great-great-grandfather, James Monroe Blackwell, who was a “scalawag,” or Southerner loyal to the Union. You mentioned that he was threatened with hanging for supporting Lincoln. He named his son after President Lincoln, and this is during the time of the Civil War. Why does his story resonate so much with you?STEVE: When I was in high school in Florence, Alabama, on the Tennessee River, I was a member of the student council, got elected, and I was asked at various times to give speeches at assemblies of the school. One of the speeches I gave was during 1964 or ‘65, and it was essentially an attack on the Klan—the Ku Klux Klan.I don't remember the entire speech, but I do remember saying that the Klan had to understand that Halloween came only once a year, and even then, when you wore a mask, you were not allowed to harm people anonymously. And that the Klan was a group who masqueraded without any courage of showing themselves to the public.I also remember that my teachers on that day kept me late at school. For some reason I did not understand until later in life, one of them drove me home that day rather than letting me walk by myself. So I came to those views for a variety of reasons. But when I discovered that I had an ancestor who not only supported the Union during the war over slavery, but who also supported the reconstruction of the South on the terms that the Congress established in the aftermath of the Civil War... I realized that I wasn't the first in my family to believe in the kind of equal treatment under the law that I was espousing as a high school student. And later, going on to work with the American Civil Liberties Union affiliate in Alabama—where we did more litigation relating to equal treatment under the law as we did the First Amendment—it was a moment in which I realized that whatever bloodlines do in this world for families, I wasn't the first. And Lord have mercy, I hope I'm not the last.BEN: When you were young, did you hear stories about James Monroe Blackwell, or did you only discover this history later?STEVE: I discovered this history later. No one talked about it. My great uncle—my grandmother's brother—Uncle Wesley, used to talk about why we were Republicans in the family, but he never talked about James Monroe Blackwell. No one did. Not even my grandmother, who I think probably had mixed up fact and fiction so much by the time she told me the story about our family history that she might have put him on the wrong side of the Civil War, after all.BEN: At the end of the book, you write about the idea of reclaiming history—both with Blackwell and with your grandmother and the Drake family, your great-grandmother, and the decisions that she made to protect her family. Can you talk about that motivation of reclaiming history and what that means to you?STEVE: Yeah. I think we all are trying to find our place in the world, but the Faulkner concept that the past is not really the past essentially means that, in finding our place in the world, we also have to know who we were in our past, where our family fit in, where we came from. It's a very Southern notion, but I think it's a universal one as well.Reclaiming the history, I think, means that we're trying to understand where we came from and, by that measure, where we're going in our lives. One of the things the book jacket says is that this is a story that no family wanted to remember, and a family too proud of its history would always want to forget. And I think for me, reclaiming history is a matter of not trying to reconstruct it or trying to hide it. It's trying to simply say: this is where my family has been, this is who we have been. And it doesn't predict who I'm going to be and what I'm going to be, but it gives me a way in which to frame who I am and how I'm gonna go forward. And for those who read the book, you won't be surprised to realize that I have tried very hard in my life to not be the person my father was. I've made a very deliberate and very conscientious effort. Whether I've succeeded or not, only my sons and descendants will be able to say, but that's part of reclaiming your history. Look at the word: his-story. That's what history is. And part of that history is you at that moment, and you can either continue that history or you can break with it.BEN: But I'll note... how much do you think people are shaped by their environment, by their family history? And I ask because I think you're an example of someone who grew up in a conservative political environment. Like you said, one of the teachers had to drive you home after giving your Ku Klux Klan Halloween speech. Personally, as you write about in the introduction, your father was at best difficult—I think accurately described as abusive. And yet you... I don't know if “rejected” is the right word, but you are a different person than those two different environments would most likely produce.STEVE: I think the key to the pursuit of happiness—as our Declaration of Independence says—in my judgment, is enabled only by having an intentional life. A life in which you say: Why am I here? What do I want to achieve? What do I want to oppose? What do I want to support? Simply have a sense of intent about how you frame your life. Now, obviously, everybody knows that we have to earn a living. Sometimes the jobs we get aren't always the jobs we may have wanted earlier in life. It may be difficult, may have other problems. But generally, it is one where you have to simply live an intentional life, trying to have goals—whether the goals drive out of your reading of the Bible, or whether they're from great philosophers, or simply out of the sense of what you think is right and wrong. And I think the discussion about nurture and nature is one that will continue to be unresolved. In that competition between which is more important, your lineage or your environment, there is, I think, something which some religious teachings call free will. Perhaps it's not as free as some might think, but you have choices to make. When I was reading the first Harry Potter books with my family—the boys were small and they were devouring those books—I was reading along. And the school superintendent, Dumbledore, makes a statement to Harry Potter in which he says, essentially: “Harry, we are the choices we make.” And at that point I said out loud, “Yeah!” And of course, the boys thought I was talking about who had won the Quidditch match in the book. But therein lies, I think, my sense of what it's all about. You make choices. And while those choices may inhibit others and they may open up others, you are those choices, and you need to make them with an intent of what you want your life to be. So that's my view.BEN: What was the process of writing this book like?STEVE: I did most of the research before I even began putting anything down on paper. That's not usually the way I write books. I usually have a lot of research already done, but you still have to go back in and answer questions as the writing process occurs. In this case, all of the research was virtually done before I started writing. So it really was a more reflective process than a fact-finding process for me.I have a friend, Jack Drake, who's a great civil rights lawyer and now retired, who has a memoir coming out that's gonna be a very important one about somebody who grew up as a white Southern boy dealing with the issues of race in the Deep South. Jack says he thinks the best way to figure something out is to write about it. And there's a lot of truth in that, if you're writing honestly. And I think in this case, the writing process finally brought home both the sense of villainy that's in the story I tell, and also some sense of pride in the honesty and the good character of people who are also members of my family, whose surname I carry and whose progeny I am.BEN: So the book comes out today. Where can people buy it and where can people find more information about you?STEVE: The book is available at any of the major online booksellers. You can go to Bookshop, which is an online store for independent bookstores, but Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, or whatever online bookseller is out there. It hopefully is at a price that you can afford. It's a book that I think everyone, hopefully, will be able to read and prompt their own interest in their own family history.BEN: And if people want to keep up with you and learn more about you, where can they find you?STEVE: I now have a website and it is aptly called SteveSuitts.com. That's S-T-E-V-E-S-U-I-T-T-S dot com.BEN: The book is What's in a Family Name? A Southern Family History Becomes a Gothic Mystery. Comes out today, available everywhere. That's a fantastic book. I encourage you to get it and urge you to visit Steve's website and keep up with what he's doing. Including... Steve, are you working on another book?STEVE: I am. Actually, the next book is also going to be set in Winston County, Alabama—the Free State. And it's going to be about the history of the county, race relations, and centered especially on a single Black school that operated for more than 40 years in Haleyville in a one-room church chapel. I look forward to finishing it and then moving on to the second volume of my trilogy of Justice Hugo Black of Alabama. This is a public episode. Send us a textIn this episode, we discuss composer Hans Zimmer signing onto the Harry Potter TV show. Enjoy!Topics/Summary:·      1:35 Hans Zimmer is scoring the TV Show! He is such a well-known composer in the film world. His music is famous for how profound it is, no matter the film. From Kung Fu Panda to the Dark Knight, Hans knows how to create a world.·      11:05 Hans has a huge sound. I'm interested how music of that size will fit into the world of Harry Potter. John William's themes are so personal and quiet, which isn't what Hans is known for.·      19:45 There's a lot of room to explore. Music is a 3D art, and that dimensions will hopefully be used. However, this world has boundaries, and it would be a shame if Hans ventured too far.·      24:40 His music is intense! It's full of electronics and different textures. But is that the right feel for Harry Potter? Maybe not. John Williams was famous for his orchestral scores, and Hans would do well to stay in the acoustic world.Having anything you want to hear or say? Click here for a voice submission or here for text. This episode dives into the future of longevity, healthspan, and proactive healthcare with Dr. Matt Kaeberlein, a world-renowned longevity expert and CEO of Optispan. He shares his unlikely "comic book origin story," from playing in rock bands and working blue-collar jobs to becoming a leading scientist at MIT and a founder of multiple longevity initiatives including the Dog Aging Project. The conversation breaks down the difference between lifespan and healthspan, why lifestyle "four pillars" (eat, move, sleep, connect) matter most, and how simple shifts like cutting ultra-processed foods can dramatically improve long-term vitality. Dr. Kaeberlein also explores the promise and pitfalls of AI in healthcare, why longevity is not just for billionaires, and how Optispan aims to use advanced diagnostics and personalized, science-backed care to reclaim 10–20 years of higher-quality life for everyday people. Along the way, he gives pragmatic takes on GLP‑1 drugs, creatine, supplements, microplastics, and the mindset shift of "choose love, not fear" as a guiding principle for a longer, better life.   Dr. Kaeberlein is also the host of The Optispan Podcast, a top-rated show with tens of thousands of loyal listeners. The trio digs into why this movie connected so deeply with kids, how Disney merchandising helped shape its legacy, and why Cars feels philosophically out of step with Pixar's more emotionally precise storytelling. They also explore the film's obsession with nostalgia, small-town Americana, Route 66 iconography, and the uneasy politics lurking under its warm glow.Along the way, they discuss Pixar's evolving reputation, the film's place in the studio's broader lineage, Cars Land as a theme-park response to Harry Potter, and why even if it's flawed Cars might still be essential viewing to understand Pixar's 2000s run.Ka-chow!Follow us:Guest: Myles McNutt @Memles on instagram and X and SubtackPatreon: http://patreon.com/PodcastlikeitsTwitter: http://twitter.com/podcastlikeitsInstagram: http://instagram.com/podcastlikeits Hosted on Acast. In 2015, I suffered from poor Type 1 diabetes control which lead me to become legally blind for almost a year. The doctors didn't give me much hope, predicting an 80% chance that I would never see again. But I refused to give up and changed my lifestyle drastically. Through sheer willpower (and an amazing eye surgeon) I beat the odds and regained my vision. During that difficult time, I couldn't read or write, which was devastating as they had always been a source of comfort for me since childhood. However, my wife took me to the local library where she read out the titles of audiobooks to me. I selected some of my favorite books, such as the Disc World series, Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, and more, and the audiobooks brought these stories to life in a way I had never experienced before. They helped me through the darkest period of my life and I fell in love with audiobooks. Once I regained my vision, I decided to pursue a career as an audiobook narrator instead of a writer. That's why I created Tall Tale TV, to support aspiring authors in the writing communities that I had grown to love before my ordeal. My goal was to help them promote their work by providing a promotional audio short story that showcases their writing skills to readers. They say the strongest form of advertising is word of mouth, so I offer a platform for readers to share these videos and help spread the word about these talented writers. Please consider sharing these stories with your friends and family to support these amazing authors. This episode of 25 Whistles has a classic “Around the Room” debate that turns into a full-on self-scout: what’s your best physical trait, and can you defend it? Then Eddie makes his picks this weekend which means he’s already jinxed the Patriots and Rams, and the guys try to figure out if it’s an actual curse or just Eddie being Eddie. Plus, former NFL center Mitch Morse joins us to talk retirement, what he misses (and doesn’t), and how Harry Potter ended up shaping the way he thought about stepping away from the game. Well Star Wars fans can continue to argue, because Kathleen Kennedy stepping down certainly wont stop them. But something to stop to listen to, is George RR Martin telling all to the Hollywood Reporter. Plus, Fallout Season 2 is not falling behind season 1, people just don't remember how TV works. Ubisoft decided to lay a big one on the gaming industry by cancelling another Prince of Persia game, and Netflix wants to keep WB movies on the big screen if the merger goes through. That and more on this weeks episode.

Kathleen Kennedy Steps Down from Lucasfilm, Zootopia 2 and Marty Supreme Hit Box Office Milestones and Netflix Makes it Rain

    Multiverse News

Last week Lucasfilm announced that Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down from her role as studio president, a position she has held since Disney's 2012 acquisition. Succeeding her are George Lucas' protégé and Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni, who will oversee the franchise's creative direction as co-president alongside former Lucasfilm General Manager Lynwen Brennan handling the business side of things. Kennedy still has an active hand as an executive producer of both Star War's next theatrical offerings: May's The Mandalorian & Grogu as well as 2027's Starfighter and will continue to produce other projects independently. Kennedy's tenure saw its fair share of highs and lows, especially contending with an often fickle fandom, but with multibillion dollar films under her belt her exit marks the end of an era.It was a surprisingly noteworthy MLK weekend box office– outside of Avatar: Fire & Ash's continuing reign, Marty Supreme became A24's top-performing film of all time with 80 million dollars domestically, surpassing Everything Everywhere All at Once, while Zootopia 2 became the highest-grossing animated film of all time globally with over 1.7 billion dollars, passing Inside Out 2. Meanwhile, Nia DaCosta's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple opened below expectations with just 15 million dollars over the four-day weekend, falling well short of the 30-million-dollar debut of its predecessor and behind tracking projections of 20 million dollars. Despite the horror sequel's muted debut, it's been an unusually robust box office this January.Netflix has revised its $83 billion dollar deal for Warner Bros. Discovery to an all-cash transaction valued at $27.75 dollars per share, simplifying the structure to provide greater certainty of value for shareholders and accelerate the path to a shareholder vote by April. The amended deal, unanimously approved by both boards, maintains the same per-share valuation while WBD stockholders will still receive additional value from shares of Discovery Global following its spinoff, with Netflix financing the deal through cash on hand, credit facilities and committed financing. This update comes on the heels of Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos' renewed promise to keep WB studio films in theaters for at least 45 days before hitting streaming.Prime Video has released a first look photo of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series, which has begun production.Hans Zimmer, who has scored more than 500 movies and TV projects, will officially score the upcoming Harry Potter series for HBO Max in partnership with Bleeding Fingers Music, a composer collective that he co-founded.Sons of Anarchy star Ryan Hurst has been cast as main character Kratos in Amazon's upcoming God of War series, which is currently confirmed for two seasons and has begun pre-production. Teresa Palmer was also cast last week and will play Sif, Thor's wife and the goddess of family.Cate Blanchett has signed a deal to reprise her role as Viking warrior Valka in Universal Pictures' live-action How to Train Your Dragon 2.Warner Bros. has set Jorge R. Gutiérrez to direct an animated feature centering on the classic Looney Tunes character Speedy Gonzales, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

The Greenland situation continues to look more theatrical than existential. To me, leaked private messages from Emmanuel Macron, public frustration from Donald Trump, and hurried diplomatic calls ahead of Davos all point to the same conclusion: this is pressure politics playing out in real time. Trump's irritation appears rooted less in Greenland itself and more in confusion over European military commitments and mixed signals from allies. That kind of misunderstanding is combustible, but it is also solvable, especially when everyone involved is about to be in the same conference rooms in Switzerland.Europe's response, though, has been pretty revealing. Ursula von der Leyen's declaration that the “old order is dead” was less a threat than a signal of insecurity. Europe wants leverage, and hinting at closer ties with China is one way to gesture at it. My priors remain that this all de-escalates quietly. The United States and Europe trade too much, rely on each other too deeply, and share too many strategic interests for this to spiral beyond bruised egos and tough talk. The laws of economics tend to win these fights.Politics Politics Politics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.Immigration Enforcement and the Internal SplitBack at home, the most interesting fight is not between parties, but within the Trump administration itself. Tom Homan publicly arguing for better messaging around ICE operations is a tell. He understands that enforcement without a moral argument collapses under public scrutiny. His claim that roughly 70 percent of those arrested are criminals is clearly meant to counter the perception that ICE is acting indiscriminately, especially after the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis. What stands out is who is not making that case. Kristi Noem, who has leaned heavily into the aesthetics of enforcement, has ceded the substance to Homan, and that imbalance matters. When enforcement becomes spectacle, it invites backlash. When it is framed as governance, it can sustain itself politically. The friction between Homan and Noem is, to me, the most important palace intrigue to watch in Trump's second term.Britain, Chagos, and Playing to the FutureSpeaking of our relationship with Europe, Trump's sharp criticism of the United Kingdom over the Chagos Islands is best understood through a political lens, not a strategic one. The deal to transfer sovereignty to Mauritius while leasing Diego Garcia back for 99 years is not new, nor was it opposed by Washington initially. Trump's reversal feels less about the base itself and more about aligning with figures like Nigel Farage, who benefit from confrontation with current European leadership. This is Trump playing a long game with the people he thinks will be in power next, not the ones currently holding office. Whether that gamble pays off is unclear, but it explains why a relatively obscure British territorial issue suddenly became Truth Social fodder. It is coalition maintenance, not military planning.Netflix, Warner Bros., and the End of Cable GravityFinally, Netflix's revised all-cash bid for Warner Bros. Discovery does a great job highlighting just how badly legacy media wants scale — and how selectively Netflix wants assets. Netflix does not care about cable networks. It wants intellectual property: Batman, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones. Paramount, by contrast, wants the whole thing in order to fight back against Netflix, and is willing to fight in court to get it.Hovering over all of this is CNN, which Netflix has no interest in owning and Paramount views as distressed but strategically important. Trump's recent reposts criticizing Netflix's cultural dominance suggest he may no longer stay neutral, which adds another unpredictable variable. This fight is not just about entertainment. It is about who controls narrative power in a post-cable world.Chapters00:00:00 - Intro00:05:47 - Justin and Kirk Bado on Republicans, Greenland, and Trump00:32:59 - Justin and Kirk Bado on Democratic Midterm Primaries00:49:20 - Justin and Kirk Bado on Josh Shapiro and 202800:59:51 - Steelers Talk01:13:25 - Update01:13:48 - Immigration01:16:30 - Chagos Islands01:21:16 - Netflix, Paramount, and Warner Bros.01:25:06 - Interview with Juliegrace Brufke on Congressional Vibes01:58:28 - Wrap-up This is a public episode.
