Taylor welcomes Brian Dietz, Co-owner of Bob Dietz and Sons Inc., to the podcast today, and together, they turn their spotlight on achieving enduring success in the construction industry, particularly as a family-owned construction business. Brian shares his personal journey, instilled with an outstanding commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic passed down through generations. The podcast spotlights the potent force of teamwork, harmonious family dynamics, and technology's role in propelling their enterprise towards a prosperous future. Stressing the importance of nurturing a supportive and collaborative work environment as the foundation for success within these unique enterprises, this episode offers invaluable insights into the construction industry, where passion, technology, and strong relationships converge to drive growth and operational efficiency. Within their illuminating conversation, Taylor and Brian explore various critical themes deeply rooted in the construction realm including the legacy of family businesses, strong stakeholder relationships, evolving roles, and the immense impact that attending CONEXPO can have upon a business. They also examine scaling complexities, technological transformation, effective teamwork, lessons from debriefs, and the cultivation of a vibrant company culture. Taylor and Brian go on to express their enthusiasm for future expansion into new frontiers like deep utilities and seizing technology-driven growth opportunities. In essence, today's enlightening episode sheds light on how embracing technology and upholding a collaborative ethos are essential components for a flourishing family-owned construction business in the ever evolving construction landscape. Topics: Family legacy in construction Harmonious family collaboration Building strong relationships Role transition for efficiency Scaling challenges Technology's impact Consistency and teamwork Lessons for Improvement Quotes: "You get out of it what you put into it." "You win together or you lose together." "You have to bring all this extra equipment and tools, and there's just a lot. You're making a thousand extra decisions a day." "We're trying to create a more organized and efficient system." “We bought our first excavator because we saw it at the 1985 CONEXPO. And then it just kind of led from there and grew…I mean the show has been huge for us in just being educated.” "People can talk about how they think everybody's a team, and we're one big happy family. But it's like, well, are you really?" "You have to value every member of your team. If you don't have that, if their wife doesn't like you because they wanted to go on vacation and you're like, 'No, you can't go again,' you're just hurting yourself." "The productivity is unbelievable. When you hear people complaining about the technology and saying you're not a 'real' operator, I get a kick out of that." And we're back - this week's episode is a sit-down conversation with Heidi Ball + Heather Dever. Heidi and Heather both volunteer their time to help the Flander's Nature Center. They are involved in the organizing and planning the Flander's Field + Forest 5k which is happening Friday, June 3rd. This is a race that we have participated in and sponsored every year since its inception in 2015 and we're looking forward to another successful year. The race is not your average 5k and it's one of two fundraisers that Flander's puts on each year. All of the proceeds will benefit the Flanders Nature center & Land Trust. It's a family-friendly event and after the race, there's live music, food trucks, and it's just a great time all around. I need to thank Heidi and Heather for being willing to sit down and talk about things and hope you all enjoy. Before we get into the show I just wanted to highlight the event sponsors that help make this race happen. Starting with the Ultra-Marathon level sponsors we have Ion Bank, and Showcase Realty, Inc. Moving to the Marathon level we have Michael Friedman Orthodontics. Next up at the Half Marathon level, we have my personal favorite - Strongtown Fitness, as well as Aquarion Water Company, the Law Offices of Dana D'Angelo LLC, Homes by Heather, Moore O'Brien & Fonti Law Firm, Rich & John's Complete Chimney Service, and Woodbury Fitness on Main. Moving to the 10k level we have Connecticut Home Navigator, Gager, Bower & Scalzo LLP, Kenneth Lynch & Sons Inc., Manzi Insurance & Real Estate, Senich Law Firm LLC, Stone Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Gary Westerman, and Woodbury Brewing Company. In this episode, The president of Wiley Education Services predicts a microverse of education institutions that will continually support lifelong education and points to a truly hybrid classroom of the future.“This pandemic has shed light on the importance of providing flexible, outcomes-focused learning experiences to students, while also proving the dire need for more jobs central to this crisis – specifically those in healthcare and social work,” said Zipper. LAU will take advantage of a tailored approach with Wiley, utilizing a full suite of online program management services, as well as course development on a fee-for-service basis. “With COVID-19 and an unprecedented monetary and financial crisis in Lebanon, we see our partnership with Wiley as one of our most strategic decisions toward perpetuating LAU's mission in Lebanon and in the Arab world,” said Michel E. Welcome to Blackbird9's Breakfast Club's Wednesday Podcast, Ritual Murder By Abraham And Sons Inc. Tonight we will examine the history of jewish Ritual Sacrifice. In the First Hour we cover the chaotic events brought on by the teachings of the Frankfurt School Marxists. Their mission has always been to establish a Greater Israel ruled by globalism under the direction of Talmudic Noahide Law and at the same time force all other nations to surrender their independent sovereignty. In the second hour of Ritual Murder By Abraham and Sons Inc, Blackbird looked into the history of jewish Ritual Sacrifice. From the symbolism of the earliest Blood Moon Lunar calendar systems to the earliest forms of animal and human sacrifice, the development of killing as sacrament, crime, and punishment, the symbolism of sacrifice in Hebrew mythology, the foundations of jewish Mosaic Law, the conflict of Christianity with jewish Law, the Twentieth Century as The jewish Century, to the symbolism of the False Flag Terrorism of September 11, 2001, the host examines how understanding the bloody fundamentals of jewish Talmudic Noahide Law is essential in understanding not only history but the methods and objectives of modern day Cultural Marxists in their push for White Genocide as a means to their New World Order under PAXJUDAICA.

Colonial America and Classroom Simulations

To design a Colonial American Day program, I recommend offering six stations with one or more adult volunteers manning each station. Each station would have a different theme and each activity at that station should take 15-20 minutes to complete. Teachers at Hayes Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada, led by Shauna Harris, designed a program to match this description. You can view their 90-minute rotation plan here and the accompanying Pilgrim's Passport (a sheet for student reflection on at each station) here. Alternatively, teachers may choose to dedicate one day to an individual station's theme, doing all the activities from that station in a whole class or small group setting throughout a single day.Station possibilities include art, cornhusk dolls, science, games, cooking, and household chores/trades. Examples of centers for each of these stations appear below and are also available as a downloadable document. The downloadable document is editable and includes needed materials for 72 participants (12 per station at one time). Pictures of these activities taken on September 16, 2009 at Green Valley High School as part of the Clark County School District Teaching American History Grant appear below.___________________________________________Cornhusk Dolls Place a tarp on the floor and place a large tub of water in the middle to pre-soak cornhusks.
