Come mai queste dichiarazioni così, in apparenza, masochiste?

State of the Union näher ansehen. Sandra Federighi is CFO at Stella McCartney. She shares about her path to the top, and why the woman behind the brand is an absolute visionary. For Sandra Federighi, a finalist in the Black British Business Awards in 2017, she recalls her nascent days in the world of so-called uber-luxe being far removed from anything resembling opulence or comfort. ‘Right at the beginning, when I entered the luxury fashion business in Italy, my salary was very low,' she explains. ‘I had to do other jobs in order to survive and that was the toughest because at the same time I had to put in extra hours in my day, as well as being a barmaid in the evening.' The slog was, she insists, eminently worth it. Her first job was in banking after achieving her masters degree in economics, but she soon realised that the culture and environent wasn't as expected. This inspired her to seek her passion for fashion and decided to combine her degree with this as well.Today, her work as CFO at Stella McCartney sees her in charge of the finances of the brand on a global level. It's vertigo-inducingly high-level stuff, but not content with being CFO alone, Sandra has also taken on the role of business services director, which involves looking after other services of the company as well. Sandra shares her story from her early days of striving to the top and how today she manages a high-powered position alongside being a mum and the household duties!Support the show (http://www.modernwoman.co/sign-up)

Thank you for joining me for an extraordinary episode today. On occasion you will hear personal interviews with those I believe, can add great value to your life as well as your coaching, and in this case also, counseling practice. I recently had an opportunity to do an in-person interview with my guest, Karen Federighi, in Naples, Florida. Since we were not in a studio and were fortunate to find a somewhat quiet public room in a hotel there, you may still hear occasional local sounds.  But thanks to expert audio editing by Evan and Simply Beautiful Media, those will be kept to a bare minimum. Karen has been featured in an NBC news report and when you hear dates, times and locations mentioned in this show, please know that this information has already been vetted and released in major network broadcasts. In addition, Karen will appear in an upcoming Hollywood-produced, full-length documentary because of her experiences, due out in July of this year. When I first saw Karen, she was having breakfast at the hotel with Diamond, her parrot.  Being an animal lover, I was drawn to meet Karen and learn how Diamond became so tame and well behaved.  The conversation later turned to her story and when I heard her testimony and we prayed together for her protection, I knew I had to bring her story to you. I want you to learn what very few coaching and counseling professionals know, as well as discover how to protect yourself also. Through it all, Karen has a strong faith, as you will hear when you meet her.  Please help me welcome Karen Federighi … SHOW NOTES: Summer C-School (Advanced Christian Coaching Class) Details and Enrollment is at http://pccca.org/summer  You can find show notes online at http://pccca.org/7  ========= The Christian Coaching School Podcast is your one-stop resource for continuing education, personal growth and becoming dually certified as a Certified Christian Life Coach and Certified Professional Life Coach. Apple senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi joins the show for a wide-ranging half-hour discussion about Swift -- Apple's new programming language that just went open source. Next, John Siracusa returns to the show to follow up on Federighi's segment on Swift. Other topics include Apple's new Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 6/6S, and our mutual (and perhaps futile) desire to head into this week's premiere of *Star Wars: The Force Awakens* knowing as few spoilers as possible.
