What you see on Sundays doesn't happen by accident. As shared in this conversation, “there's a lot that happens that people never see,” and “it takes more than just what happens on the stage.” Behind the scenes is where preparation meets purpose. It's where “teams show up early,” where “people serve faithfully,” and where “every detail matters.” Not for perfection — but because “we want to remove distractions so people can encounter God.” This is about the heart of the church. It's about “people using their gifts,” “serving where they're called,” and understanding that “every role matters.” From production to hospitality, from setup to teardown, “this is how we create space for God to move.” So today, we pull back the curtain and share the why behind the what. This is Motion Church — Behind the Scenes.

In this series, we're taking time to clearly answer a question that matters—who we are and why we exist. As shared in this message, “one of the most, if not, the most important series that we've ever done as a church,” especially because “we've had tremendous growth in the last, year, year and a half.” With new people and new families joining the story, “we just want everybody to know what we are, what we're about, where you fit in, where we're headed.” That's the heart behind this series. As it's said so simply in this message, “that is just understand the mission of Motion Church. And that's what Motion Is.” Our mission is rooted in Scripture—“we stole it from Acts, Acts chapter 17, verse 28, that says, ‘in Him, we live, and we move, and we have our being.'” So today, we continue breaking down what that mission really means for our church and for your life. Let's jump into Week 2 of Motion Is.

“This is the Motion Church podcast. Thanks for joining us.” Motion Nights are about moving faith from idea to action. As shared in this gathering, “this morning, Pastor Chris really dove into what it means spiritually and biblically to live in Christ, right?” But tonight, the focus shifts to something practical. “So tonight what we want to do is we want to talk about tangibly. How do we do that at Motion?” Not just what we believe — but “how can I get plugged in where I can live in Christ here at Motion personally, right?” This conversation is about connection, growth, and next steps. As explained, “how we're going to be doing that is something called connect groups.” Because as the church grows — “our church has exploded, right? I'm sure you guys have noticed, it is exploding” — the heart remains the same: helping people live out their faith together. Wherever you're listening from, we invite you to lean in and take that next step. This is Motion Nights — Week 2.

Tonight marks the beginning of something intentional and powerful. As we kick off Motion Nights, we're reminded that “this isn't just another service, this is a moment.” A moment to slow down, lean in, and allow God to move in a deeper way. As it was shared, “we didn't come here to play church,” and “we didn't gather just to go through the motions.” Motion Nights were created because “sometimes you need space,” space to worship freely, to listen closely, and to respond honestly. This night is about posture. It's about saying, “God, whatever you want to do, do it here.” Because when we make room, “God always shows up.” So whether you're listening in your car, at home, or replaying this message later, we invite you to lean in and expect something real. This is Motion Nights — Week 1.

On this week's episode of The MacRumors Show, we discuss Apple's newly launched AirTag 2 and Apple Creator Studio.Earlier this week, Apple announced the second-generation ‌AirTag‌, marking the first major update to its item tracker since the product's introduction in 2021, with improvements focused on tracking range, audio output, and device support rather than changes to its physical design. The new ‌AirTag‌ uses a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip that extends Precision Finding range by up to 50%, adds support for Precision Finding on compatible Apple Watch models for the first time, and includes an upgraded Bluetooth specification designed to improve general tracking range. Apple also says the built-in speaker is up to 50% louder, making it easier to locate items in noisy environments.Externally, the ‌AirTag‌ remains visually similar to the original and continues to use a replaceable CR2032 coin battery with more than a year of battery life, while internally Apple has made a significant number of internal changes. The second-generation ‌AirTag‌ is priced the same as before at $29 for a single unit or $99 for a four-pack, is compatible with existing ‌AirTag‌ accessories, and requires devices running iOS 26.2.1 or later.Apple also launched Creator Studio, a new all-in-one subscription aimed at content creators. For $12.99 per month, or $129 per year, Creator Studio provides access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage, consolidating tools for video editing, music production, image editing, and live performance. The bundle replaces Apple's long-standing one-time purchase model for these apps with a subscription approach, while keeping standalone versions available for users who do not want access to the full package.Beyond bundling existing apps, Creator Studio introduces a set of AI-powered features that are exclusive to subscribers. These include transcript and visual search in Final Cut Pro, enhanced beat detection and new dynamic titles, AI-assisted session players and harmonic analysis in Logic Pro, and new design and warp tools in Pixelmator Pro, which is now available on iPad for the first time. The subscription also unlocks premium AI features in Apple's free productivity apps, including Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, with Freeform support coming later.Creator Studio is available now via the App Store, with a one-month free trial for all users and a three-month trial for customers who purchase a qualifying new Mac or ‌iPad‌. The subscription supports Family Sharing for up to six people, includes discounted pricing for students and educators.

Agile in Construction: The DOWNTIME Strategy—Eliminating Waste Before Adding Process With Felipe Engineer-Manriquez Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes.   "My first rule is that I will do no harm. And if something goes wrong, I will take full responsibility with leadership. My neck is literally on the line." - Felipe Engineer-Manriquez   Felipe shares his change strategy for introducing Lean and Agile into construction projects, and it starts with an unexpected principle borrowed from Hippocrates: do no harm. He explicitly tells teams this promise, putting his neck on the line to build trust. But the real magic happens in what comes next: instead of adding new processes, Felipe first helps teams stop doing things. Using the DOWNTIME acronym (Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Excess processing), he identifies wasteful activities that don't add value. In construction, 60-80% of every dollar doesn't add value from the customer's perspective—compared to manufacturing (above 50% value) or agriculture (90% value). Felipe's approach: eliminate waste first to create excess capacity, then introduce new processes. On a project that was 2 years behind schedule with lawyers already engaged, he spent just 5 minutes with the team defining a visible milestone goal on a whiteboard. Two weeks later, they met their schedule and improved by 4 days—the first time ever. The superintendent said, "Never in the entire time I've worked here have we ever met a schedule commitment." The secret? Free up capacity before adding anything new.   In this episode, we refer to the 8 wastes video by Orbus and WIP limits.   Self-reflection Question: Before introducing your next process improvement, what wasteful activity could you help your team stop doing to free up the capacity they need to embrace change?   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

From Discovery to Delivery: Charting Progress in Gynecologic Oncology, hosted by Ursula A. Matulonis, MD, brings expert insights into the most recent breakthroughs, evolving standards, and emerging therapies across gynecologic cancers. Dr Matulonis is chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and the Brock-Wilcon Family Chair at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, both in Boston, Massachusetts. In this episode, Dr Matulonis sat down with guest Rebecca Porter, MD, PhD. Dr Porter is a physician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.Drs Matulonis and Porter discussed the evolving role of immunotherapy in gynecologic cancer management, focusing on recent clinical breakthroughs and future directions. They noted that although high-grade serous ovarian cancer has historically been refractory to immunotherapy, the phase 3 KEYNOTE-B96 trial (NCT05116189) demonstrated an efficacy benefit with the addition of pembrolizumab to weekly paclitaxel for patients with platinum-resistant disease. In particular, improvements in overall survival were noted in the PD-L1–positive patient population. Dr Porter attributed this success to the metronomic weekly dosing of paclitaxel, which may increase neoantigen levels and favorably alter the tumor microenvironment (TME).Moreover, the experts highlighted how immunotherapy has already become the standard of care for patients with mismatch repair–deficient advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer. However, they explained that for the mismatch repair–proficient population, this benefit is less clear and appears most significant in patients with measurable disease or specific molecular subtypes. They added that although circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay results correlate with treatment outcomes, ctDNA is currently not an actionable biomarker for determining treatment duration or selection.Lastly, Drs Matulonis and Porter reported that the field of gynecologic oncology is shifting toward combination therapies and novel platforms beyond standard checkpoint inhibitors. Treatment advances include bispecific and trispecific antibodies that engage multiple cell types or signals; as well as adoptive cellular therapies, such as CAR T-cell and CAR natural killer–cell therapies. Ultimately, the experts concluded that the goal of managing challenging-to-treat diseases like ovarian cancer is to use combinatorial approaches—incorporating vaccines, anti-angiogenic therapies, and chemotherapy—to overcome the immunosuppressive nature of the TME.

Jesse Butler thought he got away with it. The Stillwater, Oklahoma teen pled no contest to 11 felony charges — attempted rape, rape by instrumentation, strangulation, violating a protective order — and avoided prison entirely. But attorney Rachel Bussett just filed a motion that could blow the whole thing up.Her argument: the plea was void from the start. According to court documents, victims weren't consulted before the deal was struck. Orders were filed without signatures. One victim was in surgery when the youthful offender certification was entered. The DA allegedly told a minor victim about the plea — and then told her not to tell her mother. On February 3rd, 2026, a Payne County court will decide whether this Marsy's Law challenge moves forward. If Bussett wins, Jesse Butler's plea deal could be thrown out and the case could restart as an adult prosecution. And that's not all. A federal lawsuit now names Stillwater Public Schools, Principal Walter Howell, the school resource officer, and Butler's own parents — including his father Mack Butler, former Oklahoma State football operations director — as defendants. The allegations include Title IX violations, civil rights violations, and claims the school refused to enter a protective order into their database because they didn't want to interfere with Butler's education. The system failed these girls. Mary explains how exposing children to adult sexuality before their brains and psychology are developmentally ready causes real trauma, confusion, and long-term harm.As someone who danced as a child, I deeply resonated with Mary's heart for healthy, age-appropriate movement—dance that integrates mind, body, and spirit and allows children to remain children. In this episode, we discuss:The difference between healthy dance vs. harmful danceHow culture, media, and competition have normalized inappropriate movement for kidsWhy adults must reclaim their role as the protective factor for childrenThe connection between hyper sexualization and pornography culturePractical steps caregivers can take right now to protect and advocate for childrenFree tools, resources, and action steps available through Dance AwarenessMary also shares the powerful moment that confirmed why this work matters—hearing from a young woman who didn't realize the harm she experienced as a child until adulthood, and how it impacted her mental health and sense of self. This episode is about awareness—but also hope. There are healthy dance studios. There are better options. And there are ways we can speak up respectfully, educate others, and protect the innocence and dignity of children.Bio:Dance educator and author Mary Bawden received a BA in modern dance from the University of California Riverside, a MA in worship (emphasis in dance) from Hope International University in Fullerton CA, and a California secondary teaching credential. Mary began choreographing dance within church services in 1994. In 2003, she founded Soul to Sole Choreography and released a book, Dance is Prayer in Motion, in 2016. Several years ago, Mary began to notice the culture around children's dance moving toward an unhealthy trend: sexualizing children in adult-style costumes, sexually provocative choreography, and music with sexual content and/or themes. Many in the public arena have been slow to recognize this harmful form of child exploitation. In 2016, she founded DA:NCE (Dance Awareness: No Child Exploited), a non-partisan organization, to create awareness through the collaboration of credible experts with excellent research to provide free evidence-based educational materials for dance educators, parents, and concerned adults, inside and outside the dance studio. She has spoken at numerous conferences from NDEO (National Dance Educator's Organization) to CESE(Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation) Summits in Washington DC. Mary has also been interviewed and written for a wide range of TV, podcast, and radio hosts. In 2019 one article she wrote received over 250,000 views (Read Article). https://teachhoops.com/ Rule of 3 Offense Picking an offense is a high-stakes decision that must be rooted in an honest evaluation of your current roster's skill sets rather than your personal coaching preferences. A successful offensive system acts as a force multiplier; for instance, if you have a team with exceptional speed but limited height, a Blize Offense or Rule of Three Offense or a fast-paced transition system will exploit those advantages far better than a traditional post-oriented set. The first step is conducting a "Personnel Audit"—identifying your best playmakers, your most consistent shooters, and your "culture carriers" who can execute complex reads under pressure. By selecting a system that minimizes your team's weaknesses and amplifies their natural strengths, you give your players the best possible chance to play with confidence and aggression. Once you have identified your personnel, the next layer of strategy involves aligning your offense with your desired style of play and the defensive trends in your conference. In January, as scouting reports become more detailed, an offense that is too predictable can be easily neutralized. This is why many successful coaches opt for "Read and React" or "Motion" principles that allow for player autonomy and unpredictable movement. You must ask yourself: does this offense provide the necessary spacing to create high-percentage looks? Does it put our best players in positions to succeed? If the opponent is known for heavy ball pressure, your offense must include "pressure releases" and back-door options to keep the defense honest and prevent stagnant possessions. Finally, the offense you pick must be simple enough to be mastered but deep enough to evolve throughout the season. The goal is to reach a level of "unconscious competence" where players aren't thinking about where to go, but rather reacting to how the defense is playing them. As the postseason approaches, simplicity becomes your greatest ally; a few well-executed actions are always more effective than a dozen poorly timed plays. Use film study and TeachHoops member calls to refine your spacing and timing, ensuring that your players "own" the system. When a team believes in the offense and understands the why behind the movement, they play with a rhythmic flow that is incredibly difficult for any defense to disrupt. We also break down the Heat's loss to Portland, where poor three-point shooting told the story, and discuss why Miami may need to shake things up as Tyler Herro has played just 11 of 44 games due to injuries.

In this episode of Partnering Leadership, Mahan Tavakoli sits down with Louisa Loran, a seasoned executive advisor whose career spans legacy brands, global industrial giants, and one of the world's most influential technology companies. Louisa brings a rare perspective shaped by leadership roles at Diageo, Maersk, and Google—giving her a front-row seat to how strategy, operating models, and leadership expectations shift across industries and eras. The conversation centers on a hard truth many leadership teams avoid: strategy does not fail because leaders lack intelligence or effort—it fails because organizations try to adapt to a changing world without changing how they operate. Louisa challenges the assumption that transformation is about better plans or new tools. Instead, she reframes it as a question of movement, clarity, and leadership conviction in the absence of certainty.Drawing from her book, Leadership Anatomy in Motion, Louisa explores how leaders can recognize patterns rather than chase trends, why digitizing the past rarely creates future value, and how AI often exposes deeper strategic blind spots instead of fixing them. She also addresses the uncomfortable leadership work of identity—when leaders must ask whether they are still the right person to lead the next phase of the organization.Throughout the discussion, Mahan and Louisa examine collective intelligence, operating model shifts, succession readiness, and the real risks of mistaking activity for progress. This is not a conversation about leadership theory. It is a grounded, experience-based dialogue about what it actually takes to lead when the rules keep changing—and when the cost of waiting is higher than the cost of acting. For CEOs, board members, and senior executives navigating uncertainty, this episode offers a candid look at the decisions, questions, and trade-offs that define effective leadership today.Actionable TakeawaysYou'll learn why Louisa believes she can tell in a single conversation whether a transformation will succeed—and what she listens for.Hear how operating model clarity matters more than strategy decks when organizations face disruption.Discover why many AI investments fail before they start, even when the technology works.Learn how pattern recognition differs from reacting to headlines—and why this distinction matters for long-term relevance.Hear why leadership identity, not just capability, often becomes the hidden constraint in transformation.Explore how collective intelligence can accelerate execution—or quietly stall it—depending on leadership direction.Understand what it means to lead without certainty, and why waiting for clarity can be the most expensive decision.Learn why digitizing existing processes can create the illusion of progress while value quietly shifts elsewhere.Connect with Louisa LoranLouisa Loran Website Louisa Loran LinkedInLeadership Anatomy in Motion: Empowering You to Lead Through Technology and PeopleConnect with Mahan Tavakoli: Mahan Tavakoli Website Mahan Tavakoli on LinkedIn Partnering Leadership Website
