But when Shran releases a hostage and tries to open a conversation with Ambassador Soval, Suzie Plakson breaks rank and reveals she's a war-hungry anti-Vulcite. Which superhero do you want at a sex party? Who is logicing like a fox? Will Shran ever sleep again? It's the episode that got a little overcooked.Support the production of The Greatest GenerationGet a thing at podshop.biz!Sign up for our mailing list!Follow The Game of Buttholes: The Will of the Riker - Quantum LeapThe Greatest Generation is produced by Wynde PriddySocial media is managed by Rob Adler and Bill TilleyMusic by Adam Ragusea & Dark MateriaFriends of DeSoto for: Labor | Democracy | JusticeDiscuss the show using the hashtag #GreatestGen and find us on social media:YouTube | Facebook | X | Instagram | TikTok | Mastodon | Bluesky | ThreadsAnd check out these online communities run by FODs: Reddit | USS Hood Discord | Facebook group | Wikia | FriendsOfDeSoto.social

The second of our three Patreon-exclusive episodes is here! Originally published Sep 27, 2023. Backlist: This episode has been a long time coming. Our good friend Raeven stops by to chat about Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera, an extremely formative and influential story for us, the podcast, and YA at large. Which is why it's extremely funny and extremely weird that the novel is largely some sort of Abbot and Costello sketch with the plot of the musical going on in the background. This is gonna be a wild one. Chill: We are all drinking variations of Raeven's Backlist fan drink "Ambigously Brown". Ollie's got the closest to the original recipe: a hot cocoa with oatmilk, Abuelita drinking chocolate, Rumchata, and cinnamon, topped with mocha Whipshot. Cyna went iced: coffee with almond milk, chocolate syrup, Abuelita drinking chocolate, and Rumchata. Raeven's is on the go: this morning's coffee mixed with Abuelita drinking chocolate, Rumchata, and spiced vanilla rum, all dumped into a McCafe iced coffee, Pics! Cyna / Raeven / Ollie As Mentioned: You can find Raeven on Tumblr, Twitter, and A03 for some extremely Backlist-relevant fanfic. Intro theme - "Let It In" by Josh Woodward. (2h 05m. Content Warning: Profanity, alcohol consumption, sexually explicit and generally extremely filthy language, discussion of stalking, sexual harassment, suicide, and self-harm.)

Have you ever gazed upon a field and wondered if the intricate patterns etched into crops were the work of pranksters, or perhaps something more otherworldly? This week, we raise our glasses with Karen Fitzhenry, a native of Lethbridge, Alberta, with a personal connection to the mysterious crop circles that have long captivated the imaginations of locals and conspiracy theorists alike. Together, we relive the golden era of these enigmatic formations, discussing the complex designs that baffled even the most skilled farmers and musing over the thrilling possibility that extraterrestrial life might have paid our planet a visit, especially in light of the CIA's declassified files on unidentified aerial phenomena.RumChata in hand, Karen shares spine-tingling stories from Canada, blending her own encounters with the unexplained and the historical intrigue of crop circles. We scrutinize the geometric precision that defies simple explanations and consider the bold claims of Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, the infamous duo who took credit for creating these meticulous patterns using rudimentary tools. And as we sip our Voodoo Ranger IPA, we can't help but ponder whether these formations might be a universal language, a message to time travelers, or evidence of a covert alien influence that has nudged our technology forward in leaps and bounds.Wrapping up our session, we invite you, our listeners, to share your theories and experiences on our social media platforms. Are these crop circles coded communiques for beings outside our current understanding, or elaborate hoaxes that have stirred up more questions than answers? Let's continue this journey together, exploring the remaining riddles of these crop circles and the possibility of life beyond our blue planet. So, tune in, join the conversation, and who knows – you might just unfold a corner of the universe's greatest mysteries.

Madison, Traci and Jess have a lot to say about this cult insanity. Clearly because it's one of our longest shows. We apologize in advance for how long this is and for the many distractions we had. Perhaps too much RumChata? Anyway, you might want to save this one for your next road trip! (Without the kids) This is a Netflix documentary that really comes down to the desperation so many people have to find love. The vulnerability one has in such desperation. And of course - those that prey on this desperation. If you ever decide to seek information on the internet about finding true love, we suggest avoiding ads for anything to do with Twin Flame Universe. But hey - it's your call. But maybe give this a listen before you put in your credit card info.xoxoJess, Madison & Traci 4 out of 4 paws or 5 out of 6 if you want to count Madison

What can I say, we've waited 29 years for this. Were you thrilled with it? Disappointed in it? Eh about it? Like parts and hated other parts? Do you think they will make a third film? Or maybe just turn this into a tv series to follow three new witches? Who knows what the future will hold, but "they're witches are back and there's hell to pay..." I met up with friends on the night this film was released and we had two "Char-boo-terie" boards along with a themed cocktail and more alcohol for shots. One of us partied a little too hard during the film, but you will hear about that during the episode. Let's just say we had to record another day. Hocus Pocus Cocktails (https://outsidethewinebox.com/10-hocus-pocus-themed-drinks/): Sanderson Sister Black Sangria Ingredients 3 Black plums, sliced 1 Cup of blackberries ½ Cup of pomegranate aerials 2 Cups of black grapes 2 Cups of red wine, such as cabernet sauvignon 1 Cup of brandy 2 Cups of pomegranate juice Directions In a large pitcher add black plum slices, blackberries, pomegranate aerials, black grapes, red wine, pomegranate juice and brandy. Stir together until well combined. Cover and chill the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow flavors to come together. Blood Chocolate Syrup In a sauce pan over low heat add in all of your ingredients. Let dissolve in pan until fully combined. Remove from heat when the sauce is as thick as syrup. About 8 minutes total. Let come cool completely before using. Drinking Rules: Drink when... In today's episode Nicky P and Lizzie are here to review Christmas Snow, a rare and beloved holiday favorite from Lizzie's youth. While the movie triggers her nostalgia drip left and right, Nicky P is having a much different time. For him, the movie is a chaotic mess were no one's motivations make any sense, the characters are all pretty crappy people and it might as well have been a one man show. Even Mona from Who's the boss and a baby Mellissa Joan Hart can't save this thing. Still that under an hour run-time is pretty sweet all things considered. Better us than you I guess. Beverages For Round The Fireplace Nicky P has discovered perhaps his new favorite beverage in today's episode. He is practically twitching as he enjoys his Cranberry Mimosa's that he was inspired to by Delish.com. A simple affair with cranberry juice and champagne, why had this not occured to him sooner. Lizzie on the other hand has found a far different flavor to enjoy with her Chata Hot Chocolate care of thecookinchicks.com. And it's just one ingredient more complicated than Nicky P's with Cocoa, milk and Rumchata. So if fruity isnt your thing, maybe cocoa is. Christmas Sweater Fever Nicky P has decided today to run wild with Lizzies recurring nerd theme and has upped the ante himself in a chainmail vest with fur liner. Quite comfortable next to the fire or swinging a magic Battle Axe Of Dwarven Rage with a plus 5 modifier...sorry nerd life. Lizzie has decided to bring back even more of her LOTR gear today with a fantastic ugly sweater telling the story of taking the ring to Mordor. I especially like the panel on Mount Doom. Another Buck Episode. His first interview has been a fan favorite since it went up, so we brought him back for some more yarns to spin. It definitely gets raunchy, and the topics are, shall I say, a little "fluid", and I even got in on it! Listen at your own risk! Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!

It's been a few years since Dairy Carrie and I sat down with a pitcher (or a few) of Spotted Cow beer in the back room of the Crawfish Junction bar in Milford, Wisconsin and recorded several episodes for my podcast (formerly known as Agriculture Proud). And, of course, we titled the series Over A Beer, because who doesn't like to sit down with their best friends for great conversations over a beer?!? We covered a ton of topics in the world of agriculture advocacy. You can find those episode show notes here. I recently made a trip back to Wisconsin for the holidays, so we decided it was about time for another round. Carrie and I caught up on a few topics and over the next four weeks, we'll be sharing those podcast episodes. In classic Wisconsin style, Carrie made sure my day started with a Rumchata coffee + a breakfast beer before we made it to the bar (hey... it was vacation) so I think you'll enjoy some good, open conversations over a beer. In today's first round, also known as episode 30 of the Beef Runner podcast, Carrie and I briefly catch up on life events over the past two years. Carrie and her husband Patrick had a second son, Ben (my godson) Carrie discusses the challenges of the dairy industry as milk prices have dropped and growing seasons have been difficult I've moved to Colorado, started a new job, bought a house and cannot stop running Fun fact: Carrie and I recently realized we joined Twitter (@DairyCarrie and @BeefRunner) on the same day 10 years ago. We didn't know each other then, but she now refers to me as her little brother she never asked for. And I do my best to live up to those expectations. Thanks to our sponsors (if we had sponsors) – Spotted Cow Beer from New Glarus Brewing for the hydration and to Crawfish Junction for the location for the discussion. Be sure to hop on over to Carrie's Blog, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to connect with her. Like what you see here? Sign up for my newsletter to be notified of future stories and weekly headlines. Happy Holidays good people! In this episode I sit down with my younger sister Delilah to play New York Said Shuffle. This is our 2nd installment of our Holiday Monster Trilogy. This week we are talking about the notorious Frau Perchta and the menacing, not cuddly Yule Cat. Stay cozy and Enjoy! Promo: Friends And Flayers
Happy Holidays good people! In this episode I sit down with my younger sister Delilah to play New York Said Shuffle. It's longer, it's crappier, it's drunker. Thanks to a work trip and three red cards in week 4, Kelly and Gordon get a little talkative this week, in a sub-par quality way. Hey, it's hard not being in the same room! Salah's love for the post, Pukki's train repairs, the annoying Watford habit, and much more are discussed as we come to grip with the fact that there are no games this weekend! Shout out to our Palace contingency for the Rumchata suggestion, I don't think we would have finished the pod with three fireball shots.
On this episode Duffy Moon, Amber Kaye, Camper Kyle and Kelsey Laurenz talk Rumchata, Spooky Peeps, Diet Culture and if they would date their child's ex like Diddy is. . .
We watch “The Rebel Flesh” (Series 6, Episode 5) where the Doctor and the Whoby Gang land on an Earth island at a factory that drills for acid and sends it to the mainland? Wait…why…? Whilst at said island, Rory befriends a walking Xerox copy, Amy rocks an awesome flannel shirt (seriously…what did Amy actually get to do in this episode?) and the Doctor cos-plays as Odo from Deep Space Nine. Will this continue the streak of a superior first episode of a two-parter? Will we remember later what happened in this episode? Spoilers: probably nope on both.

IT'S CHRISTMAS! Well, at least in the On Call Room world. This is our first Christmas episode and it delivers. First and foremost Bri burned down her house because she woke up to a spider in her bed. She's looking for a new home, message her on Instagram. Cristina is Jewish, Burke is surprised and spiritual, Karev is dirty Uncle Sal, and Bailey has a teaching moment with her unborn child. Derek rocks an iPod and clip on cell phone AND loves Meredith. Yes folks, you heard it first, Derek tells Addison it wasn't just a fling with our leading lady. Shock factor 100%. Karev is studying for his exam that he failed and all the interns pitch in, including a weepy Izzie (because that's what Jesus would FREAKING do). The holiday spirit penetrates Abbey and Bri as they talk favorite Christmas carols, favorite Christmas movies, and their preferred aesthetics for Christmas decorations. So, pour yourself some egg nog, or Rumchata and hit play and get down with that holiday boogey.
