What happens when your best friend of 22 years is a feminist pop culture critic who left social media—and you decide to give her a microphone? Pure magic. In this episode, Stacy sits down with her longtime bestie Daynah Burnett to get real about everything from TikTok slang confusion and “Love is Blind” hot takes to why reality TV might be secretly good for your emotional intelligence. They unpack the state of media, generational drama (yes, your mom did mess up your bangs and your boundaries), emotional intelligence on screen, and why Pedro Pascal is everyone's daddy. It's sharp, hilarious, occasionally spicy, and exactly the kind of late-night-deep-dive-energy your group text wishes it had. Spoiler alert: there are actual spoilers. This week is a special one — Due to a medical emergency of our guest this week, we needed some super heroes to save the day. Enter: Jared's kids!! Nora, Wyatt, and Moses give us a glimpse into what life is like as kids today — from the highs and lows of school, to friendships, to what it's really like having Jared as their dad. (Spoiler: he might be cooler than you think… or not.) It's a lighthearted, honest, and surprisingly insightful episode that reminds us how much we can learn when we actually listen to our kids.
Why are politicians trying to ban the safer alternatives to cigarettes… while leaving cigarettes untouched? What's the real motivation behind targeting products like Zyn and vapes? Is this about protecting public health—or protecting power and control? Studio Sponsor: Cardio Miracle - "Unlock the secret to a healthier heart, increased energy levels, and transform your cardiovascular fitness like never before.": CardioMiracle.com/TBNS In this punchy, eye-opening episode of The Brian Nichols Show, we dive headfirst into the war on nicotine alternatives. Host Brian Nichols sits down with health policy analyst and harm reduction fellow Sophia Hamilton to break down why the government is so obsessed with regulating—if not outright banning—products like Zyn pouches. Spoiler: it has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with outdated narratives, political grandstanding, and generational ignorance. Sophia walks us through how the government's crackdown on Juul created a black market mess, how Zyn emerged as a cleaner, safer alternative, and why politicians like Chuck Schumer are frothing at the mouth to ban it next. Even though studies show these products are far less harmful than traditional tobacco, that's not stopping the Nanny State from stepping in. Brian and Sophia also dig into the generational divide fueling this hysteria—highlighting how Gen Z is rejecting alcohol and cigarettes but is being punished for making safer, informed choices. The hypocrisy is rich: the same boomers who once fell for Big Tobacco ads now want to control what young people can and can't use, despite overwhelming data and personal autonomy. And let's not forget the role of the FDA, which seems more interested in gatekeeping and bureaucracy than in approving harm-reduction products that actually help people quit smoking. This isn't just a public health failure—it's a prime example of government overreach making life worse, not better. You do not want to miss this one. ❤️ Order Cardio Miracle (CardioMiracle.com/TBNS) for 15% off and take a step towards better heart health and overall well-being!

Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.If you've been riding the SCHD wave thinking it's the golden goose of dividend investing—this video is going to rock your portfolio strategy. We're reacting to Professor G's latest video “SCHD Is Killing Me – Is It Time to Pull the Plug?” and breaking down what's really going on with this ultra-popular dividend ETF.SCHD is often praised for its 3.5%–4% dividend yield, qualified tax treatment, and “defensive” stock mix—but here's the uncomfortable truth: it's down while the market is up. Year-to-date, SCHD is sitting at -2.51% while SPY is +2.38% and QQQ is cruising ahead at over +4%. We dig deep into the real numbers, compare performance side-by-side, and ask: is collecting dividends really worth watching your capital shrink? This isn't just about data—it's about perspective. In this video, we break down the illusion of safety in dividend investing, why chasing yield without trend confirmation is a mistake, and how the SCHD chart looks when you actually apply technical signals like the 10/20/50 moving average trend filters. Spoiler alert: it's not a bullish setup. We're also hitting key topics like:➡️ Why SCHD's latest rebalance timing was a disaster➡️ How increased energy sector exposure added volatility➡️ What rising Treasury yields are doing to dividend ETF demand➡️ And whether SCHD is really “defensive” or just dead weightYou'll hear comparisons between SCHD and other options like ESGV, SPYI, QYLD, and short-term T-bill funds that currently yield 4–5% with none of the downside risk tied to equity price drops. We also run SCHD through the Outlier 9 system—our framework for identifying bullish trends and high-probability setups. Let's just say, it's not lighting up like a Christmas tree. It's barely holding neutral. So if you're tired of watching your money sit flat or bleed out for a 3% “reward,” this video is a must-watch. So I wasn't planning on pulling a business lesson out of my garden this week… but here we are. This episode started as a house update and a chat about summer reading and YouTube stats — and somehow ended with me sitting on the floor of a storage container, feeling completely ripped off by a gardening educator I thought was original. Spoiler: she wasn't. And I've got the 2007 notebook paper to prove it. We're talking about what happens when people build brands on borrowed ideas — and don't give credit. The difference between inspiration and appropriation. And how easy it is to miss those lines when quantity starts to outweigh quality. If you've ever bought into a membership or method and later felt a little… duped? This one's for you. Let's get into it. RESOURCES MENTIONED NOTE: Some links below contain affiliate/referral links. Smart Agency Masterclass with Jason Swenk: Podcast for Digital Marketing Agencies
Would you like access to our advanced agency training for FREE? https://www.agencymastery360.com/training How does a print designer become the founder of a thriving strategic web agency? Spoiler: It wasn't all smooth sailing. But this agency founder figured out how to stop being the bottleneck, leverage systems and AI, and make his agency way more profitable along the way. It all began by creating a digital brain for his agency. In this episode, Shawn Johnston, owner of Forge and Smith, a Vancouver-based agency shares how he's been building bespoke WordPress sites for 13+ years. He'll share his story—and some seriously smart tips for agency owners looking to scale and create more freedom in their agency. In this episode, you'll learn: Why documenting your processes is key to scaling How to use AI to build a “digital brain” for your agency How to step out of day-to-day work and empower your team Tips for focusing your team on high-value, strategic work Subscribe Apple | Spotify | iHeart Radio Sponsors and Resources E2M Solutions: Today's episode of the Smart Agency Masterclass is sponsored by E2M Solutions, a web design, and development agency that has provided white-label services for the past 10 years to agencies all over the world. Check out e2msolutions.com/smartagency and get 10% off for the first three months of service. From Print Design to Web Agency Owner Like a lot of us, Shawn didn't set out to build an agency. He started as a print designer back in 1996, cranking out newspaper ads when CSS came on the scene, sparking heated debate at the office over whether it would change the internet or not. Shawn got curious, taught himself to code, and started building sites on the side. What started as a hobby turned into freelancing… and when the 2008 housing collapse hit, he went all in. He hustled hard on Craigslist, building $1,500 WordPress sites and quickly realizing he was making more than his day job. This gave way to his first lesson in business: Hustle works early on, but you can't scale without systems. When He Knew It Was a “Real” Agency Starting out, Shawn was able to handle all the WordPress development, design, and strategy by himself. By setting up some repeatable pieces, he was able to grow his client list, with some of them coming back for site support. As projects stacked up, however, he hit a wall: He couldn't sell, deliver, and support all at once. He decided his first hire would handle client support, so he could free up time for higher-value work. From there, he slowly backed himself out of development… then strategy… then design - replacing himself piece by piece. Of course, this didn't automatically erase all the agency's problems. Initially, it only created a new set challenges. Adding new pieces to the team made their lack of documented processes very clear. For a while, the handoff confusion created meant everything continued to run through Shawn... The real issue was that there was too much knowledge trapped in his head. Why Documented Processes Are the Key to Scaling The obvious solution was to start documenting everything from UX components to strategy guides to build quality standards. From that point on, everyone knew who was responsible for what and at what point. The goal wasn't to limit creativity but to empower the team to make smart decisions without running to Shawn for answers. For Shawn, a focal point of this shift had to be underlying the agency's why. Everyone on the team had to be very clear on: Why do we work with clients the way we do? Why are we doing things this way and not that way? Making sure everyone understood the overall goals would inform the decision-making, cultural aspects, and would help the team work cohesively. Documented systems = freedom for you and clarity for your team. Win-win. The Next Step: Creating a ‘Digital Brain' for Your Team Fast forward to today, and Shawn is using AI to level up even more. He records and transcribes sales calls, discovery calls, and proposal work—then synthesizes it into a knowledge base his team can actually use. No more “Shawn said this one thing on a call” confusion mid-project. The team can look back at the records and apply direction to move forward without him. We've talked about the next step with AI for agency owners: train an AI assistant on your agency's entire knowledge base. That means training it with everything you have in your knowledge bank, including: Past client insights Brand guidelines Design patterns Sales conversations Internal processes Apply these practices ASAP so that your team can tap that knowledge instantly — without pinging you for answers. Think of it as your agency's “digital brain” and the key to your freedom. Why Low-Code + Prebuilt Systems Are Boosting Profits One of Shawn's smartest moves has been leaning hard into reusable systems and low-code tools. He's baked strategy into UX components, aligned dev processes with design frameworks, and streamlined builds so 80% of each site is repeatable. That frees the team to focus on the 20% that really matters—the strategic stuff that drives results (and justifies premium pricing). More profit, faster delivery, better outcomes. Everybody wins. Ready to Stop Being the Bottleneck in Your Agency? If you're tired of everything running through you and want your team making smart decisions without constant handholding. Then it's time to plug into a community of agency owners who've figured this stuff out. Inside the Agency Mastery Mastermind, you'll learn exactly how to: -Document and systematize your agency's IP -Leverage AI to scale your team's capabilities -Increase profit margins with smarter processes -Step fully into the owner seat—so you can lead, not grind You don't have to figure this out alone. Come hang out with the smartest agency owners scaling today.

Whether you've been DIYing your podcast or working with another team, there are some crucial things you need to have in place to make the transition smooth and successful. Here's the thing: we've onboarded clients this year who fell into two camps. Today on The Jubal Show, we covered everything from tequila-drenched disasters to the actual science of why "nice guys" finish last—and it’s just as spicy as it sounds. We kicked things off with Jubal’s Phone Prank, where a “noise complaint” turns into a full-blown investigation into yawning decibel levels and cluster sneezes. Then, in a First Date Follow Up, Bryce accidentally blinded Crystal with hot sauce during a wing date—and somehow still scored a second date... after being accused of giving off serial killer vibes. Yup. In Dirty Little Secret, a bride woke up next to her new husband’s brother the morning of the wedding (no, she still hasn’t told him). Real News or Fake News brought exploding turkeys, alien debris turned chicken coops, and a Delta flight turned biohazard. Then, things got wild in To Catch a Cheater when Sarah discovered her boyfriend Charlie—who said he left town for a dying uncle—was actually dancing half-naked on a Pride float with his ex. Spoiler: there was glitter. And lying. Victoria defended her trivia title in You vs. Victoria, but the real chaos came from allergy meds and a Minecraft-fueled phrase that must be banned. Later, Nina’s What’s Trending covered everything from Disney’s first-ever bar in Magic Kingdom, to a Bridgerton star being cut from a major film, to dating spreadsheets and why drinking milk is apparently the best way to survive a heat wave (science says so). And finally, the team broke down a list of genuinely insane social media behaviors—like stalking your ex, zooming in on someone’s throw pillows, and creating alter-egos to escape reality. (Bradley Slater, erotic novelist, anyone?) This episode is hilarious, unhinged, and full of things you definitely shouldn’t do... but probably already have. Buckle up for another wild ride on The Chad and Cheese Podcast, where our hosts sling hot takes faster than a fast food drive-thru! This episode's a global smorgasbord, kicking off with a shout-out to Portugal's national football team, who're apparently scoring goals like they're auditioning for a Hollywood blockbuster. Olé! Then, the lads pivot to Taco Bell's grand invasion of Ireland—because nothing says “Irish culture” like a Crunchwrap Supreme at 2 a.m.Next, they dive into the recruitment jungle (see what I did there?) to dissect Welcome to the Jungle, France's slick job platform trying to muscle into the U.S. market. Spoiler: it's like a croissant trying to compete with a double cheeseburger. The hosts break down whether this Euro import can hack it in the land of LinkedIn and Monster, all while preaching the gospel of “know thy market” like it's a recruitment sermon. The convo then zooms into the AI startup Thunderdome, pitting Sintra against Jet HR in a cage match of funding flexes and business models. Who's got the bigger war chest? Who's got the better buzzwords? It's like watching two tech bros arm-wrestle over venture capital. Things get spicy when they tackle AI and automation, with Amazon playing the role of job-market Godzilla, stomping through Europe's workforce like it's a bad kaiju flick. And because no podcast is complete without a moral panic, the hosts cap it off by wagging their fingers at social media's evil grip on today's youth. They're out here advocating for regulations to save kids from the horrors of endless TikTok scrolls—like digital knights in shining armor. Will Welcome to the Jungle conquer America? Will AI eat all our jobs? Will teens survive Instagram? Gotta watch to find out.
