Ina Froitzheim und Anne Schwab sprechen u.a. Do drugiego niezwykle interesującego starcia doszło 50 lat później, gdy George W. Bush rywalizował o fotel prezydencki z wiceprezydentem Alem Gorem.

W dalszej części podcastu prowadzący analizują wypowiedzi Władimira Putina o gotowości do rozmów z udziałem Chin, Indii i Brazylii. I gdzie przebiegają, jeśli pozostają w mocy?

What would you do if you were ridiculed in public? Today we explore the profound power of silence in the face of shame, as discussed in the Orchos Tzaddikim, Ways of the Righteous. We reflect on how choosing to remain silent amidst public mockery can lead to divine favor and inner peace. Drawing wisdom from the Talmud, we hear about the spiritual light that shines upon those who practice this humility, transforming Busha (shame) into Anava (humility) and ultimately leading to a deeper sense of self-worth and dignity. We also uncover the signs of a noble character in children, focusing on modesty and humility as key indicators. Our discussion takes a historical turn as we look at King Saul's humility and how it was treasured by our sages. As we conclude our journey through the gate of shame, we prepare to transition into the gate of arrogance, eager to unravel more insights. This episode is a rich exploration of virtues that remain deeply relevant in our daily lives. We are in a pasuk in Tehilim 69,7 אַל־יֵ֘בֹ֤שׁוּ בִ֨י ׀ קֹוֶיךָ֮ אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִ֗ה צְבָ֫א֥וֹת אַל־יִכָּ֣לְמֽוּ בִ֣י מְבַקְשֶׁ֑יךָ אֱ֝לֹהֵ֗י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Do not be embarrassed in me, those that hope to You, God who is the Master of the legions, Don't be embarrassed or ashamed of me, by those that seek You out. Firstly, we say in our morning prayers, Lo Nevosh V'Lo Nikalem we should not be embarrassed, ashamed , or stumble forever, because we relied on Your great, powerful, and awesome name… which comes from this pasuk , so we actually invoke this pasuk every day in our prayers. And seemingly, we have a poetic doubling of language - Busha and Klima are two terms of shame, -Those that hope to You , and those that ask You. -God as the God of the hosts and all legions and the God of Israel. What are these double terms? The Malbim says there's a difference between Busha and Klima . Busha is internal shame . Klima is embarrassment from the outside world. Tikva hope in the heart . So if your hope doesn't come to fruition, then you have inner shame. You hope to Hashem and you feel like you're not worthwhile, that you weren't answered. That's Busha , inner shame. But Mevakshecha/when you ask , that an external request- you say it out loud, and everyone sees it, so if you're not answered then you get embarrassed in the outside world, so that's not quite a double Lashon . Furthermore, there are two different ways to refer to God. The Radak and Ibn Ezra say that when we refer to God as God of legions , that's in the heavens. We are saying that God can make the Gezerot/decrees from high above in the heavens. That's the hidden aspect, where no one sees what's going on. It's behind the scenes. Then there's God as the God of Israel , God's army down here. The Radak says God has hosts above and God has host down here. We're down here in exile, out in the open. It's not the behind the scenes. We're hoping to God to do things upstairs, behind the scenes. But we're also asking that God remove us from the embarrassment that is going on down here, right now- with the antisemitism, college campuses and the like. We're embarrassed. David Hamelech is saying, “ Please save me from the inner shame and save me from the outer embarrassment, when I hoped to You and I asked You. And if I'm not answered, it's just too much embarrassment and shame. The question is, what does it mean that They shouldn't be embarrassed, those that hope to You, what does me have to do with them ? Who's the me and who's the them ? Rashi and the Radak both say that it means If You don't answer me when I'm hoping to You and asking you, all the other people that are hoping and asking will see me and say that if I was not answered, “ What is hoping and praying to God worth? If I'm not answered, if I'm let down, they'll feel let down. When the person counting on Hashem is a known Ba'al Bitachon, if he isn't answered, all the other people will lose hope. There's another explanation of this pasuk, which is said both by Rav Chaim Palaggi, in his sefer Hakatuv L'Chaim, and also by a Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum, in his sefer Yitav Lev . He was the grandfather of the well-known Satmar Rebbi that came from Europe. They offer a similar explanation- that sometimes we go to a sadik to pray and we hope to them, that their prayers will be answered. So David Hamelech says, People are hoping and counting on me. The pasuk right before this says, God, You know my foolishness, You know my sins. They're not hidden from You , but the people are coming to me, and they don't know that. And, if You don't answer me, it's going to be embarrassing. Rav Chaim Palaggi says this is similar to Choni HamaAgel, who said, The Jewish people are counting on me. I'm a household member of Yours . We count on our Sadikim to be there to annul decrees. Rav Chaim Pilaggi says this applied is in his generation, and it applies in our generation as well. If Hashem doesn't come through for them, it's going to be embarrassing for that Sadik . This is yet another reason, and another angle for why going to a great Sadik to pray works- Because Hashem wants to protect this sadik from being embarrassed- that he's praying, and he's not being answered. These are two beautiful explanations for why David Hamelech doesn't want to be embarrassed: 1-Because if his own prayers, for his own needs, are not answered, people will give up hope and they won't rely on Hashem. He says, if You don't answer my needs, then people will say What is bitachon worth? 2-David Hemelech is also saying, When I pray for others, let me be answered so I won't be embarrassed that my prayers don't work for them.

We're now in a pasuk in Tehilim 31,2, another pasuk of Chisayon , which is not really reliance, but seeking refuge and protection. In You Hashem, I seek refuge . I will not be embarrassed forever ( I might be embarrassed but not forever). In ( the merit of ) Your righteousness (not my righteousness) save me. David Hamelech uses the words Becha Hashem/ In You Hashem , and the Midrash Tehilim asks, What's this stress on In You? He says, the Jewish people gather in shuls and they say to God, Save us. God asks , Do you have righteous people amongst you? Do you have God-fearing people amongst you ? They respond, In the past we had Moshe, we had Aharon, we had Shaul, we had David, we had Shlomo, we had sadikim..But today, due to our sins, they've been taken from us. We don't have those great people anymore. We have nobody to rely on. Wherever we go, it's just darkness. To which God responds, “ Rely on Me because whoever relies on Me, I save them .” And it goes on and says, Chananya, Mishael and Azaria were thrown to the fiery furnace and Nebuchadnezzar said about them, “ Blessed is your God that saved you. He realized these men relied on God. So too, Daniel was saved from the pit with the lions. And therefore, David Hamelech is saying, if that's the case, if that's the power of reliance, if anyone that relies on You, You save, Becha Hashem Hasiti, In You I seek refuge. Even though I don't deserve it and I don't have any Sadikim around me, I'm still going to rely on You. The Ramchal, Rav Moshe Chaim Luzatto, better known for his sefer Mesilat Yesharim, says that It is well known that in the merit of our kivoy/our hope to God that we had in the time of the exile, we will be redeemed. He says the main redemption will be due to the fact that we keep the Torah. He quotes a Midrash in Tehilim on Mizmor 7 that בך Becha In You has a numerical value of 22, corresponding to letters of the Torah, which means we're relying on the Torah, and in the merit of the Torah that was given with the 22 letters, we'll be saved. And what is the Busha of Al Evosha / we will not be embarrassed? The Busha/embarrassment is that if a person eats what's not his it's called the bread of shame. We're sent down to this world for one reason. God could have sent us straight to Gan Eden. But if a person eats food that he didn't work for, he's in the free soup kitchen, and it's called the bread of shame. You're getting free food and you don't feel good about yourself. A man that inherits a great amount of money and didn't work for it, doesn't feel as good as the man that worked for his money. Therefore, God put us, due to our sins, into Galut . He could have gotten us out without any difficulties, but then it would've been a redemption of shame because we weren't fit. But since we have so many difficulties and we accepted the difficulties with love and didn't kick, and we continue to rely on Hashem in these Tzarot , and we hope to Hashem, when the Geula comes, we're not going to be embarrassed. This is a huge concept to understand- that Hashem is giving us these challenges so that by not kicking (easier said than done) and accepting the difficulties, we are creating and amassing tremendous merits. We will not be embarrassed at all. Yes, we have our weaknesses and yes, we have our downfalls, but we have tremendous challenges and tremendous difficulties and we overcome them with our reliance in Hashem. That accrues for us tremendous merit. I rely on You. And I know that these challenges that give me the opportunity to rely on You will cause me not to be embarrassed and I will eventually be redeemed – not because of my merits (I might have a lot of sins)-but because of my reliance on You, that's it. I don't have anything to rely on, but I rely on You and in order to facilitate that reliance, I need to have challenges. That's how David Hamelech looks at life, and that's the way we should look at our life. Every challenge is an opportunity to exercise our reliance on Hashem, accrue and amass merits, and merit the redemption. And we'll be able to be redeemed with pride, because we did it, we worked for it, we suffered through it. Have a wonderful day.

On May 26, 1980, an 18-year-old runaway was picked up by a state trooper in Minnesota, who viciously raped and murdered her while on duty. Her body was discovered about a week later and her remains were ultimately buried as an unidentified person. In 1989, her murderer confessed but sadly, she would still not be identified until 2015, when DNA was finally confirmed. Konstantin in za njim številni kralji in cesarji so celih 1400 let Kristusov križ preobračali v ideologijo, s katero so dajali legitimnost svoji tuzemski vladavini.

Duys said: "I'm concerned about global prospects and we favour the Golf ETF at this particular stage. Considering that industries will probably remain lower for longer as all country's fiscal position looks dire it is also very like with all the stimulas that you've seen that perhaps there will be unexpected inflation in the future. Gold is probably the best hedge for such an environment." Busha said: "Many may disagree but I'm going for British American Tobacco, they have promised to maintain their payout ratio of 65% and they offer a 6,5% to 7% dividend yield. From a momentum point of view there is an opportunity to buy and although the minister is having a few problems, smokers are still puffing away."

The company has a pharma division (a UPG) and you are looking about 31% up in terms of revenue. Turnover for February at 10%, profit after tax 13% and so certainly I think given this whole Covid pandemic I think there are more attractive than anybody else. They are also now going into online delivery so I think there's an opportunity given the pullback, I think buy it for the short term." Kunze said: "I'm going local as well with MTN, we like the share, we like it under R50 and even if we factor in an extreme devaluation of the Naira anywhere between 40 to 50% from here, given the bounce back in oil prices, given the results of Vodacom on Monday and given the fact that more and more of us are working from home we think it's one of those shares that offers value at these levels"

They own KFC and Pizza Huts, they've been expanding quite rapidly in that market but they're still not in a thousand large cities so a lot of runway left there for them. Then of course, I mean China is changing quite rapidly and post Covid-19 people are going to get out there and they're going to KFC burgers" Busha said: "I'm looking at Naspers, I think Naspers has done fantastic and in the way that they managed Covid-19 very well. For the month a 31% year-to-date 20%. Towards the end of last year that was a lot of M&A activities around Prosus and Naspers itself and with Nasper holding 74% of Prosus, I believe that both their classifieds and delivery business is going to do well."

Marx said: "I quite like the food retailer, they have been sold off but not as much as the rest of the market and I don't think they're going to be sold off much more. Because firstly, grocery retailers have and will likely not be impacted as much by by the lock-down and then most of these companies also have a new liquor operations which lost some momentum in the last reporting period. With restaurants closing and unable to serve liquor up to a certain time you might see more off license purchases of alcohol. So I think that there are a few good drivers there and I particularly like Spar, I also like Shoprite but for my main thing." Busha said: "ADvTECH results were very good, I mean a 60% growth in terms of revenue. Their headline earnings per share just about 20% and profits also up, so certainly I think one of their best purchases or acquisition was Monash, which they've renamed and they've got very good brands like Varsity College and Vega School. The Stock has been hammered it's down about 38% year-to-date and the share price is sitting at around R6,40 per share and I believe the fundamentals are in place, I think it is looking attractive now."

It came to pass. The Son of Baldy was crucified by metal-hybrid Foghornious, usurping  the orders of Soupalon High Commander Dickus Soupus to fake the killing as a show of dominion over Earth. Dickus Soupus knew all about betrayal, he had sent five humans to the nearest Soupalon planet colony, The Savage Garden, under the guise of his own revolution, only for the humans to be trialled by Pedup Bauer, head gardener, to exploit human weakness and use it against them, via The Facefly, The Trail of Bees and Gay Chris’s Futcha-Futcha game show. But the humans prevailed and the garden destroyed, only after the most revolting human in history, Baldy, gave birth to an egg rectally.     The Son of Baldy was born and after crucifixion, born again! Guiding the remaining 4 tenacious, reckless, human resistors, Ratchly town residents: Tucker, Arlee, Jagger and Busher, to destroy Soupalon plans of pumping Neozine at the Ratchly Chemical Factory into the crop spray. Neozine would infect the food chain and infantilise human brains, breeding idiocy and bringing Soupalon closer to full invasion. Imogen Telch, the woman who helped our heroes, freed them from Whitehaven Asylum, was slain by Foghornious before it, factory foreman Bert Kavanagh, Soupalon High Commander Dickus Soupus and assistant Spikus, all drowned as Tucker thwarted Bert Kavanagh’s final attempt to unleash the Neozine into the supply pipes. The Soupalon interdimensional enemy, The Meemong, first found on the face of Busher, then through radio frequency to Arlee, and after through Imogen Telch, assisted our able men by abducting then decapitating Busher, fusing a giant baby head to his body so as to ‘fight like babies’ to defeat the Soupalon Neozine plan. Now, The Meemong have sent The Ratchly Resistance: Tucker, Arlee, Jagger and Busher, in intergalactic flying armchairs, to follow The Son of Baldy to the Soupalon home world. With just one aim. Kill all Soupalons.    (Armchairs in space FX), (Orbit materialisation) Orbit: I am Orbit. You have entered Soupalon, you are now in Orbit’s Welcome Zone. Many good welcomes! I will be your planetary guide and get you all set up for arrival. Arlee: Who’s this lad Jagger? Jagger: Could be our friends, the Meemong, Arlee, in-flight service, show us how to kill the Soupalon! Orbit: I am Orbit. What an interesting travel mode you have. Upholstered armchairs from an M Planet in the arm of Orion. I have intercepted your frequency to usher you in effortlessly as per protocol of our great civilisation of Soupalon. Tucker: So not the Meemong then. Busher: Shut up Tucker. Play it cool. Trust no one. PEAH! What do you want you holographic hoor?! Orbit: Good Welcomes human! I speak your English! Remember! Soupalon harbours 38% Oxygen, double your atmosphere. Please be aware of oxidative stress! Busher: Get out of me face! Orbit: You may feel a little nauseous, but then you will feel almost alert and active. Jagger: Do you serve tomato juice? Tucker: How do they speak our language Busher? That’s what I want to know. Busher: Maybe it was Baldy! Tucker: SON of Baldy… Busher: Phwizzz! Family of arseholes! Doesn’t matter, we’re here to defeat these Soupal- Tucker: Pipe down Busha! What you say about playin’ it cool? Jagger: You’re right Busher, what did the Son of Baldy say? Eh, ‘The Kingdom of Baldy is near’ he said. Arlee: Go ‘Tom’ Baldy! Jagger: Ah, it’ll be good t’see Tom again. Busher: As much as I despise the cunt… no, no, he’d still let ya down, no matter what! Orbit: Engaging Soupalon atmosphere. Humans, be prepared to burn twice as much for half as long. Enjoy your stay! (Opening Credit) (Armchairs land) (Vomit) Arlee: Awww, puked. Orbit: Soupalon entry sickness. It will pass quickly as you acclimatise. (Soupalon atmosphere) Jagger: Where’s this now? Look at the size of those trees! Tucker: Jurassic. (Massive bird wafts by) Arlee: Holy fong! Did you see the size of that bird? Busher: Roight, let’s cover these chairs and get on with it! Jagger: Uh, I feel like I’ve smoked fifteen joints. Orbit: There is no point my friendly visitors. We know you are here. We have an aliens department led by the great Mox Faulder. (Mox: ‘Hey Mox Faulder, How ya doin’?’) He will have been notified. Between you, me and our trees, it’s a secret agency to deal with this sort of thing. Tucker: Yeah, we have the same back home. Busher: No we don’t, that’s not real. Tucker: Yes it is. Arlee: Well, it should be if it isn’t. Jagger: Orbit, so you’re not the Meemong? Arlee: Jagger!? Orbit: The, who? I am not familiar with that name. Ah but Mox Faulder would know. (Mox: ‘Hey Mox Faulder, How ya doin’?’) He’s made contact with many advanced alien species. Have you fought with any intergalactic species before? Busher: We fought you, the Soupalon! Arlee: Ssssh. I thought you wanted us to come in quiet? Orbit: I’m not programmed to understand this remark, for we have never fought with humans in our illustrious history! Tucker: Yes ya have! Jagger: Took me up onto your Clinkership and you raped me! Busher: You never said anything about rape Jagger, Jagger: Pumped me full of their chemicals too. (flashback) I nearly lost the head. Busher: I actually lost mine! Replaced me beautiful body with this overgrown baby bulk! Tucker: That was the Meemong, and that was for your own good, to save humanity. Orbit: Meemong... No. Systems report no history of this name. Arlee: You’re lyin’. Orbit: You need to seek out the Mox Faulder. You have reached the limit of Orbit’s welcoming zone. Goodbye! (Disappears) Arlee: Poof gone! Jagger: Sneaky fuckers. Tucker: What do we do now lads? Busher: We have to summon the Meemong back. They are our only hope. Arlee: And find Baldy while we’re at it. Busher: Yeah, yeah, but look at me face, are me moles moving? Are the Meemong tryin’ to communicate? Show us a sign! You brought us here to destroy our common enemy! Mox: Hey! Busher: Ahhh! Stand back! Mox: How ya doin’? Jagger: You’re not Baldy, you’re huge! Mox: On behalf of the planet I welcome you, all uh four of you, to Soupalon! Tucker: The size of ya! Who are you? Jagger: He’s a fuckin’ avatar! Mox: Nah, just Mox Faulder, in the flesh, welcoming party! Arlee: At least 7 and a half foot tall! Jagger: Nice brown corduroy threads man. He looks like Bill Ward. Arlee: Ah, and speaks English of course. Mox: Of course. There are lots of different spacefaring races in our spiral arm, we are very diplomatic. Kunze said: "So we like Shoprite, it currently closed at round about R115 and some change and is almost back at a 52-week low. Not that we necessarily think that the SA consumer is flying back but, if we're going to be in the space we tend to like the food retailers. It's not a demanding PE, sitting at a 15 times PE. If you look their retail numbers that came out last week, it was surprisingly on the upside, above 2%. We're hoping it's not just a Black Friday wonder and will know if that if December flows through. But, I think with these current holdings, with the margins where they are, Shoprite is a good buy." Busha said: "Astral foods has done fantastic, I think from the price momentum perspective but if you look in terms of last numbers they were down about 55%. The main contributor or drive of their performance certainly is their feed stock and if we're going to have problems with maize and so on, given the fact that the rains are looking very patchy and your prices remain sticky. So you might not be able to get earnings supporting the press momentum. I think the share price was stuck at some place between R154 and R165 last year and all of a sudden it is trading it's R217. I think would basically not be buying and I'll be shorting it."

They are down 23 percent for the year, today obviously a little bit of response and seven percent up so I think the earnings remain kind of high compared to the price and they have to converge at some stage. I think the price will respond to the earnings that have remained impressive. We're looking at the price possibly moving to about 284 if not just above 300." Combrinck said: "It is listed in New York and it's one of the bigger mall REITs in the US. Its yielding almost 10 percent at the moment so those type of companies have been decimated, including the high quality Simon Property Group which I think these days are yielding about six, six and a half percent - which is much higher than they did a few years ago. It's all about ecommerce, taking away business from traditional retailers and those going belly-up. They own most of the property in the A-rated malls in the US and they have one of the highest quality portfolios globally."

This will remind the investors that gaming is still growing aggressively for Tencent. At the same time you have your fin-tech which is as strong as ever and I think this is a good buying opportunity."Busha said: "Anglo American thinks that they are going to have a cash cow in copper outside of South Africa. Julie Busha launched the Slawsa brand to the market in 2011 with rave reviews and retailer confidence that saw placement in over 5,100 stores in the US and Canada within two years. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur and landing a coveted spot on Season 5 of ABC's Shark Tank, Busha spent her entire professional career in the world of sport marketing. She worked with many Fortune 500 clients, starting with IMG and most recently leading the marketing efforts for an agency owned by NASCAR driver, Bobby Labonte - a company she was recruited to build in 2007. She is proud to have worked with General Mills for nearly a decade. Busha graduated with three departmental honors as Academic All-American and Order of Omega from Winthrop University and has since been published through various media outlets. She resides with her husband Brett and two weimaraners in Cramerton, North Carolina. More information about Slawsa, including a store locator, can be found at www.slawsa.com.   On Today's show Julie will share: - What’s Your Personal Mission Statement I've got three little rules:  #1 Don't make excuses.  First of all, no one wants to be around people who don't take responsibility for their actions or inaction…they bring everyone else around them down. I have found that unsuccessful people can only achieve success on the backs of others. Don't be either one: the freeloader or the mule; and the freeloaders seem to be the ones who make the most excuses.  #2 Never let someone else's inability to see your value determine your worth.  If you want to achieve something, put in the work to get it done as it doesn't matter what other people think.  #3 Don't be afraid to bite off a little more than you can chew at times.  You lose fear when you dive into unknown territory head first and it'll make you stronger to take on more in the future.  It'll build confidence too. - Biggest Business Mistake  I have always been a people pleaser and desire to make people happy, proud, you throw in the adjective, has always been a personality trait of mine.  With that, I have found myself in situations where I have been too nice and that good nature has been taken advantage of.  You want to assume the best in people but at the same time, you have to learn how to spot people who are just wanting to take advantage of your generosity, efforts or both.  Its a fine line.  Don't stop being nice, generous and helpful to others, just use caution when you do. I've learned it's okay to look at life's scenarios with a cynical eye from time to time and sometimes you have to do that to protect yourself. - How Do You Handle Business Stress and Uncertainty  With more grey hair.  Honestly, because I am a very type-A person who feels she needs to be in control, it's not easy to think about the uncertainty of the future.  I probably stress more than most but, at the same time, I have confidence in my abilities and I need to trust in those to get me to my goals.  I just have to remind myself from time to time that I'm on the right path and as long as I stay focused, good things will happen.  Physically, I enjoy going for a good long run or doing an Insanity workout to relieve some stress. In shape people can take on more workload. - Greatest Business Decision That Changed Everything  Buying out my partner when he requested to sell his equity in the company to me.  To say that it was a shocking request is an understatement.  Considering everything I had put forth with the company in time, effort and finances to grow the Slawsa brand where it was at the time of the request, I can't say it's an easy decision.  I was now going to assume even greater risks with the added weight of an additional investment for the buyout and the legal fees in doing so.  It's not an opportunity that comes before a 34-year old often but, at the same time, it was one that I couldn't pass up, even if it meant making additional sacrifices to do so. - Best Book For The Entrepreneurial Mindset  I'm a big fan of Larry Winget's business books because of their comical, kick-you-in-the-pants, nature… but I'd like to change this question up and reference a SONG that I think every Entrepreneur should live by: Frank Sinatra's "My Way."  If you live like the person in this song lived, you probably kicked a little ass along the way.  It's a great anthem for us entrepreneurs. - Plus much more...
