Zach sits down with Casey and Meygan Caston, founders of Marriage365, to talk about how a marriage that nearly collapsed in year three became the foundation for a global relationship resource. Both Casey and Meygan grew up surrounded by divorce, affairs, and unresolved conflict. Determined not to repeat their parents' patterns, they entered marriage with optimism—but no tools. By year three, resentment, blame, and emotional shutdown had taken over, and Meygan found herself convinced she had made the biggest mistake of her life. What changed everything wasn't mutual effort at first—it was personal responsibility. After starting therapy alone, Meygan learned boundaries, emotional regulation, and how to take ownership of her part of the dance. Thirteen months later, her changed posture toward conflict forced a shift in the relationship dynamic, and Casey began doing his own work. Together, they share how changing one partner changes the entire system; why marriage is not about solo dancing; and how resentment—not communication—is usually the real problem couples face. Zach weaves in his own frameworks around adulthood, repair, and the “dance” of relationship, while Casey and Meygan offer practical insight from years of coaching couples in crisis. The conversation also explores forgiveness, curiosity, intentional choice, cultural myths about love, and why healthy marriages are built through habits—not hope. Key Takeaways You're not stuck – Changing yourself changes the relationship system. Marriage is a team sport – Two people dancing separately isn't partnership. Resentment breaks communication – Most “communication problems” are really unresolved hurt. Repair requires ownership – A real apology validates pain and invites rebuilding trust. Acceptance matters – Forgiveness doesn't have to be instant, but honesty does. Curiosity beats defensiveness – Looking inward is the first step toward growth. Feelings fluctuate; choices endure – Love is sustained through intentional action. Differences aren't the enemy – Harmony comes from resolving dissonance, not eliminating it. Guest Info Casey & Meygan Caston Casey and Meygan are the founders of Marriage365, a relationship coaching platform dedicated to helping couples build intentional, resilient marriages. Drawing from their own near-divorce story and years of coaching experience, they offer practical tools, habits, and frameworks for repair, communication, and connection. Determined to restore Roman Catholicism, her reign became forever associated with the burning of Protestants. Firefighters are trained to run toward danger — but too often, their own health is what's at risk. In this episode of the Plant Strong Podcast, Rip sits down with fellow firefighter Andy Schaefer of Avon, Ohio, whose journey into plant-based eating began with a life-altering decision: donating one of his kidneys to his brother-in-law.Determined to be as healthy and resilient as possible, Andy adopted a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle more than five years ago — and the results were undeniable. Faster recovery, dramatically improved biomarkers, more stamina on the fireground, and a renewed sense of purpose. Today, Andy is leading from the firehouse kitchen, fueling his crew with plant-strong meals that leave them feeling energized, focused, and ready to perform when the alarm sounds. From zucchini fritters that changed an entire shift's perspective on food, to the deeper reality that nearly 85% of fire calls are lifestyle-related medical emergencies, this conversation is about service, brotherhood, and reclaiming health — one plate at a time.Key TakeawaysPeak performance starts with the fork. Andy's plant-based diet helped him recover quickly from kidney donation surgery and outperform expectations on physically demanding fireground drills.Leadership doesn't require a badge or rank. By cooking plant-based meals at the firehouse, Andy inspired his crew to eat more plants, feel less fatigued, and perform better on shift.Firefighters are tactical athletes. Like professional athletes, first responders must be ready at any moment — and nutrition plays a critical role in stamina, breathing control, and long-term health.Sadly, nearly 85% of fire calls are lifestyle-related medical emergencies and not fires, at all.Episode WebpageWatch the Episode on YouTube
Joyce Jackowski's Journey to a New Knee Recovering with Agility: Joyce Jackowski's Journey to a New Knee In the latest episode of The Bee's Knees Podcast, host Mary Elliott sits down with Joyce Jackowski, a Florida resident and competitive dog agility enthusiast who recently reached the four-week milestone following a total knee replacement on her right knee. For Joyce, the surgery wasn’t just about ending pain; it was about reclaiming a lifestyle defined by movement. After temporary injections failed to provide lasting relief, Joyce realized that to continue running with her dogs, she needed a permanent solution. Her story is a testament to the power of preparation, discipline, and finding the right technology to aid in recovery Choosing a recovery path was a deeply personal decision for Joyce, influenced heavily by her husband's difficult experience with a traditional recovery that required a painful “manipulation under anesthesia”. Determined to avoid a similar fate, Joyce followed the advice of a friend—another dog agility competitor—and looked into the X10 machine. Despite her surgeon's initial skepticism, Joyce was drawn to the results she saw online and decided to take charge of her own rehabilitation by bringing the X10 into her home. “My goal was to get back to being able to do all of my dog sports… I have been past the curve for all my measurements this whole time.” – Joyce X10 Therapy The first two weeks of recovery were a significant mental and physical struggle, marked by intense post-surgical pain. Joyce found herself questioning the decision to have surgery as her daily schedule became entirely consumed by a rigorous cycle of X10 sessions and physical therapy exercises. However, her discipline paid off quickly. Her home physical therapist noted that she was “way above the curve,” reaching normal range-of-motion measurements much faster than average. Today, Joyce's flexion is at 122 degrees, firmly within the normal range of 120 to 125 degrees. “The X10 machine really helped, but the component that makes this program above the top was having the coach support.” – Joyce Overcoming Challenges | The Human Element of Recovery Beyond the technology of the X10, Joyce credits her success to the human element of her recovery: Coach Kim. Having a dedicated coach to provide emotional support, technical advice, and even simple lifestyle tips—like listening to music during sessions or taking a drive to escape the “cabin fever” of recovery—made all the difference. This support system helped Joyce navigate the “down times” and corrected her when she was over-extending herself, such as the time she mistakenly tried to walk down the street the very night she returned from the hospital “Do your exercises. Do them even if you don’t feel like it… Give yourself a break, but do not take a cheat and do not do it at all.” – Joyce Now four weeks out, Joyce is walking without a cane inside her home and looks forward to returning to the dog sports she loves. Her advice to others facing a similar journey is simple: stay disciplined with your exercises. While it is okay to give yourself a mental break on tough days, she emphasizes that you must never “cheat” on the work required to heal. By combining the right tools with a relentless drive, Joyce has turned a daunting surgery into a successful first step back toward her passions.
The Bee Gees are one of the most influential and enduring acts in popular music history, a band whose songs have soundtracked generations and transcended genres, eras and trends. Formed by brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb, the group's journey began long before global fame, rooted in family, harmony and an almost instinctive musical bond.Born on the Isle of Man and raised between England and Australia, the Gibb brothers began performing together as kids. Music wasn't just an interest — it was the family language. By the late '50s, the brothers were already writing songs, honing their harmonies and learning the discipline of performance. Their early success in Australia laid the groundwork for an international career that would soon explode. The Bee Gees' first major breakthrough came in the late '60s with emotionally rich, melodic songs like “To Love Somebody,” “Massachusetts,” “Words,” and “I've Gotta Get a Message to You.” Their close, often aching harmonies and introspective songwriting set them apart. In the '70s, the Bee Gees achieved one of the most dramatic transformations in music history. With Barry's soaring falsetto, the brothers became the undisputed kings of the disco era. Songs like “Stayin' Alive,” “Night Fever,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “You Should Be Dancing” dominated charts worldwide, largely through their work on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack — one of the best-selling albums of all time. Their songwriting partnership extended beyond their own recordings, producing hits for artists including Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.Yet behind the global phenomenon was a tight-knit family unit. It was within this world that Stephen Gibb, Barry's eldest son, grew up. Raised surrounded by music, Stephen witnessed the Bee Gees at work from an unusually intimate vantage point. As a child, he watched his father and uncles write, rehearse and refine songs, often assuming that such musical brilliance was simply part of everyday life. Only later did he realise just how extraordinary that environment was.Stephen chose not to follow directly in his family's musical footsteps. Instead of pop harmonies, he gravitated toward hard rock and heavy metal, inspired by bands like Van Halen and Def Leppard. Determined to carve out his own identity, he built his own career. It was a conscious decision to step out of the Bee Gees' long shadow while still deeply respecting it.Tragedy struck the Gibb family with the loss of Andy Gibb in 1988, followed by Maurice Gibb in 2003 and Robin Gibb in 2012. These losses marked the end of the Bee Gees as a performing group, but not the end of their music. Barry continued performing and recording, often with Stephen by his side. Over time, Stephen became a trusted musical collaborator and guitarist in Barry's touring band, providing both musical and emotional support as his father carried the legacy forward alone. In 2021, Barry released Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook, a roots-influenced reimagining of classic Bee Gees songs, recorded with a stellar lineup of artists including Dolly Parton, Keith Urban and Alison Krauss. The album was widely praised and served as a poignant tribute to his brothers and their shared catalogue. It also marked the closing chapter of Barry's recording career, as he has since stepped into a well-earned and contented retirement.Today, the Bee Gees' legacy remains immense. Their songs continue to resonate because they speak to universal emotions — love, heartbreak, resilience and hope — delivered through melodies that feel both intimate and timeless. Through Barry, and through the respect and care shown by Stephen, that legacy is protected with dignity rather than spectacle. The Bee Gees were never just a band. They were a family, bound by blood, harmony and an extraordinary gift for songwriting — a gift that continues to echo across generations.Today Stephen Gibb joins us with the story of The Bee Gees.

Washington state Democrats just decided to make homelessness permanent. House Bill 2489 sets such impossible standards for shelter—pets, partners, belongings allowed, no sobriety requirements—that cities will never be able to sweep another encampment again. Meanwhile, Portland and San Francisco are actively clearing camps and seeing results, but Washington? They're going full speed in the opposite direction. This bill strips local governments of their power to protect parks, businesses, and neighborhoods from open-air drug markets disguised as "life-sustaining activities." Seattle's new socialist mayor already canceled her first scheduled sweep, and if this passes, expect tent cities to explode across every public space in the state. The Democrats want this—they think letting drug addicts die in the gutter with their "civil liberties intact" is compassionate policy. Is anyone surprised Washington is working this hard to destroy itself? What about the civil liberties of families who can't use parks covered in needles and human waste?

In this chilling episode, Fred from the Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch YouTube channel returns to share a haunting account that unfolds deep within the isolated Alaskan wilderness, where land, legacy, and something unknown collide. The story centers on James Junior and his uncle Oscar, whose connection is strained by years of unresolved family tension tied to a remote piece of inherited property.Once dismissed as nothing more than an unwanted reminder of the past, the land comes with unsettling warnings from their late mother—warnings that linger long after her passing. After years of neglect, Oscar decides to reclaim the property by building a small cabin in one of the most desolate regions imaginable. What begins as a practical decision quickly spirals into something far darker.During an unexpected visit years later, Oscar experiences an overwhelming sense of being watched, followed by strange sounds, rolling fog, and the sudden appearance of a massive, unidentified figure looming near the cabin. The encounter leaves him shaken and searching for answers.Determined to confront whatever may be lurking on the land, Oscar and James Junior return in the dead of winter, armed and on edge. What they encounter instead defies explanation—deep, guttural growls echo through the frozen forest, and a rare white raven appears, a symbol regarded in many Indigenous cultures as an omen or spiritual messenger. As tension mounts and the environment turns hostile, fear overtakes reason, forcing the men into a desperate retreat as piercing screams follow them through the fog. Fred breaks down the details of this encounter and explores whether the behaviors, warning signs, and environmental cues described in this story could help others avoid similar traumatic experiences in remote wilderness areas.Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch YouTubeGet Our FREE NewsletterGet Brian's Books Leave Us A VoicemailVisit Our WebsiteBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sasquatch-odyssey--4839697/support.

LESSON 21I Am Determined To See Things Differently. The idea for today is obviously a continuation and extension of the preceding one. This time, however, specific mind searching periods are necessary, in addition to applying the idea to particular situations as they may arise. Five practice periods are urged, allowing a full minute for each.In the practice periods, begin by repeating the idea to yourself. Then close your eyes and search your mind carefully for situations past, present or anticipated that arouse anger in you. The anger may take the form of any reaction ranging from mild irritation to rage. The degree of the emotion you experience does not matter. You will become increasingly aware that a slight twinge of annoyance is nothing but a veil drawn over intense fury.Try, therefore, not to let the “little” thoughts of anger escape you in the practice periods. Remember that you do not really recognize what arouses anger in you, and nothing that you believe in this connection means anything. You will probably be tempted to dwell more on some situations or persons than on others, on the fallacious grounds that they are more “obvious.” This is not so. It is merely an example of the belief that some forms of attack are more justified than others. As you search your mind for all the forms in which attack thoughts present themselves, hold each one in mind while you tell yourself:I am determined to see _______ [name of person]differently.I am determined to see _______ [specify the situation]differently.Try to be as specific as possible. You may, for example, focus your anger on a particular attribute of a particular person, believing that the anger is limited to this aspect. If your perception is suffering from this form of distortion, say:I am determined to see _______ [specify the attribute] in _______ [name of person] differently.- Jesus Christ in ACIM

In 2025, Golden Goose, the Italian brand known for its handcrafted, distressed sneakers, was at a crossroads. CEO Silvio Campara had grown the label from a cult favorite into a $650 million global force, but sustaining that growth raised tough questions: Should the company double down on sneakers, expand into ready-to-wear and accessories, or push into emerging international markets? Harvard Business School Professor Juan Alcacer and entrepreneur Alexandre Daillance co-wrote the case “Golden Goose: Reshaping Luxury.” They join host Brian Kenny to explore how the brand has upended traditional fashion norms by embracing imperfection, inviting co-creation, and redefining what it means to scale in the luxury world.
January 18, 2025The standard of living for a Christian is holiness, a life set apart from sinful ways, devoted and obedient to God. Holiness is the primary theme of 1 Peter 1:13-2:10. A holy life begins with a mindset, a made-up mind that is determined to reject ungodly ways and pursue God's best in all circumstances.1 Peter 1:13-21
LESSON 20IAm Determined To See.We have been quite casual about our practice periods thus far. There has been virtually no attempt to direct the time for undertaking them, minimal effort has been required, and not even active cooperation and interest have been asked. This approach has been intentional, and very carefully planned. We have not lost sight of the crucial importance of the reversal of your thinking. The salvation of the world depends on it. Yet you will not see if you regard yourself as being coerced, and if you give in to resentment and opposition. This is our first attempt to introduce structure. Do not misconstrue it as an effort to exert force or pressure. You want salvation. You want to be happy. You want peace. You do not have them now, because your mind is totally undisciplined, and you cannot distinguish between joy and sorrow, pleasure and pain, love and fear. You are now learning how to tell them apart. And great indeed will be your reward.Your decision to see is all that vision requires. What you want is yours. Do not mistake the little effort that is asked of you for an indication that our goal is of little worth. Can the salvation of the world be a trivial purpose? And can the world be saved if you are not? God has one Son, and he is the resurrection and the life. His will is done because all power is given him in Heaven and on earth. In your determination to see is vision given you.The exercises for today consist in reminding yourself throughout the day that you want to see. Today's idea also tacitly implies the recognition that you do not see now. Therefore, as you repeat the idea, you are stating that you are determined to change your present state for a better one, and one you really want.Repeat today's idea slowly and positively at least twice an hour today, attempting to do so every half hour. Do not be distressed if you forget to do so, but make a real effort to remember. The extra repetitions should be applied to any situation, person or event that upsets you. You can see them differently, and you will. What you desire you will see. Such is the real law of cause and effect as it operates in the world.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
True faith is more than following feelings or doing what's easy; it's a wholehearteddecision to trust and follow God. Ruth's choice to leave her past and embrace God'speople shows that salvation begins with obedience and trust, even when the wayforward is uncertain. Her faithfulness points us to the greater salvation God offersthrough Jesus, calling us to respond with the same courage and commitment.
Standout tells the inspiring story of Ben Kjar, born with Crouzon Syndrome, a rare craniofacial disorder. From birth, doctors warned that his life would be dominated by limitations, bullying and harsh scrutiny. Despite that prognosis, Ben yearned for an ordinary life free from judgment and harassment. However, each experience of adversity, including relentless bullying and a series of painful surgeries, ignited a fire within him. Wrestling became his proving ground, a place where he learned to transform his facial difference into a source of power. Determined to succeed, he pushed himself relentlessly, breaking through physical, social, and even romantic barriers that once seemed insurmountable. But as unexpected challenges arose and ridicule resurfaced, Ben found himself at a defining crossroads: fade into the background of a “normal” life, or fully embrace his difference and boldly stand out. In this episode, we sit down with Steven Rofrano, founder of MASA Chips and Vandy Chips, to unpack why seed oils are so controversial and how “science” is often used as marketing. We explore the differences between seed oils and vegetable oils, the ways oils are extracted from nature, and how saturated versus unsaturated fats affect metabolism, mitochondria, and oxidative stress. Steven explains the role of linoleic acid, body temperature, calorie burning, and why eating in alignment with your climate may matter more than we've been taught. We also discuss whether seed oils need to be avoided entirely, their long half-life in the body, and practical strategies for reducing exposure in everyday life. The conversation wraps with a reimagined food pyramid, cooking methods that impact health, and how MASA and Vandy Chips are setting a new standard for cleaner, more satiating snack foods.Steven Rofrano grew up in New Jersey in an Italian-American family that instilled a deep respect for food quality and old-world traditions. Steven struggled with chronic health issues growing up, until he discovered that eliminating seed oils and processed foods made him feel truly healthy for the first time.Fueled by years of obsessive research, Steven became convinced that classic American foods can be both healthy and delicious—if made without toxic ingredients. Determined to prove this, he quit his big tech software job in 2022 to launch Ancient Crunch, starting with MASA Chips, the first nixtamalized tortilla chips cooked in grass-fed beef tallow. Next came Vandy Crisps, tallow-cooked potato chips that restore the 'Great American Snack' to its original seed oil-free glory.Today, Steven remains on a mission to rebuild America's pantry with real, nourishing ingredients—and, of course, to spread a little anti-seed oil “propaganda” along the way.SHOW NOTES:0:40 Welcome to the show!2:53 About Steven Rofrano3:59 Welcome him to the podcast!5:04 Why are seed oils so polarizing?8:47 Is “science” just marketing?11:35 Seed oils vs Vegetable oils13:35 3 ways to get oil from nature17:04 Unsaturated vs saturated fats in the body20:11 Eating per your climate22:25 Linoleic acid, oxidative stress and your mitochondria28:22 How we burn calories & energy33:46 *ELLIE MD*35:36 Lower body temperatures37:04 Do we need to avoid seed oils 100%?40:17 Advice on avoiding seed oils44:07 Half-life of seed oils in the body47:39 Cleaner potato & tortilla chips49:57 Satiation factor of saturated fats51:38 Frying vs baking vs sauteeing55:29 The new Food Pyramid57:09 Where to find MASA & Vandy Chips58:02 His final piece of advice58:40 Thanks for tuning in!ELLIE MD PeptidesRESOURCES:IG: reallytanmanX: reallytanmanMasa Chips - code: BIOHACKERBABES for 20% offIG: masa_chipsX: Masa_ChipsVandy Crisps: IG: https://www.instagram.com/vandy_crispsX: https://x.com/Vandy_CrispsSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/biohacker-babes-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands

When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. The consequences can be immediate, violent, and life-altering. Few understand this reality better than Jennifer Clark Eskew, a retired ATF agent whose career began on the front lines as an undercover Virginia State Police trooper and later evolved into some of the most dangerous covert work in federal law enforcement. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast social media like their Facebook , Instagram , LinkedIn , Medium and other social media platforms. Eskew's story is one of grit, calculated risk, and survival, one that continues to resonate across law enforcement circles and on platforms like the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and beyond, where her experiences are discussed through interviews, her Podcast appearance, and content shared on their website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and most major podcast platforms. A Bad Day Undercover Jennifer Eskew's undercover career started early, and it started hard. As a Virginia State Police trooper, she was selected for undercover work at a time when female officers were still rare, especially in deep-cover assignments. Supporting articles about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin . One operation in particular would change everything. When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. “It was just a really bad day,” Eskew has said of the moment when an undercover operation unraveled. “The gang I was dealing with started getting weird. The energy shifted.” Available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and most major Podcast networks. Her backup was slow to respond. What Eskew didn't yet know was that the very gang members she had been investigating had mistaken someone else for a rival. They shot and killed the wrong man, shooting him five times. “That's when you realize how fast things can go sideways,” she later reflected. “You can plan everything perfectly, and it still falls apart.” The incident underscored a harsh truth of undercover policing: even when an officer survives, the psychological toll can be profound. Eventually, Eskew made the decision to leave the agency, not to step away from undercover work, but to continue it at a higher level. Look for The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast on social media like their Facebook , Instagram , LinkedIn , Medium and other social media platforms. From State Trooper to ATF Eskew transitioned to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), where her undercover experience made her a natural fit for high-risk federal investigations. At ATF, she went deeper than ever before, posing not just as a criminal associate, but at times as a contract killer. When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. “She was essentially an undercover hitman,” one colleague noted. “Or hitwoman. She had to convince the worst people you can imagine that she was one of them.” Much like famed ATF undercover agent Jay Dobyns, Eskew infiltrated violent criminal organizations. Her role required adopting a persona capable of inspiring fear and trust at the same time, an impossible balance where a single misstep could mean death. Available for free on their website and streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and other podcast platforms. “In those moments,” Eskew has said, “you're constantly asking yourself where the act ends and where Jennifer begins.” The Power and Risk of Female Undercover Officers Eskew's career highlights why female undercover officers are uniquely valuable in law enforcement. Often perceived as non-threatening, women can exploit dangerous misconceptions held by criminals. “I could go into any bar, and I wouldn't pose a threat,” Eskew explained. “I could get an enormous amount of information. They may look at me as a victim, but not as a threat, and that makes you incredibly valuable for UC work.” When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast episode is available for free on their website , Apple Podcasts , Spotify and most major podcast platforms. Female officers have proven especially effective in infiltrating drug rings, organized crime syndicates, and prostitution-related operations. As more women enter law enforcement, agencies are increasingly recognizing these tactical advantages. But the work comes with risks that male officers rarely face. “Overcoming sexual advances is a constant concern,” Eskew noted. Across the United States, there have been documented cases where female undercover officers were sexually assaulted during operations. These realities demand specialized training, preparation, and institutional support. More information and the interview with her is available on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and other major platforms “There are things we deal with that men don't,” she said. “But there are also things we can do better.” Breaking Barriers in a Male-Dominated World Jennifer Clark Eskew always felt a spark, a calling to serve and protect. When she entered the all-male world of the Virginia State Police, she endured grueling academy challenges and relentless pressure to prove herself. When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. The episode can be found on The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and across most podcast platforms where listeners will find authentic law enforcement stories. Determined to succeed as one of the first female troopers in that State Police agency, she faced rookie mistakes, high-stakes decisions, and constant scrutiny. Then came her selection as the first full-time female undercover state police officer in Virginia. Immersed in a world of drug dealers and gun traffickers, Eskew thrived under pressure, even as the adrenaline and danger blurred the lines between her real identity and her undercover persona. “With her fire burning stronger than ever,” one admirer wrote, “she refused to be extinguished.” Becoming Fire Eskew's journey is chronicled in her Book, Becoming Fire: Chasing the Passion to Protect, Serve, and Love. Part memoir, part survival story, the book captures the emotional cost of undercover work alongside the humor, fear, and resilience that define it. “You'll laugh, you'll cry,” Eskew has said, “but you won't forget it.” Listeners can tune in on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show website, on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and most every major Podcast platform and follow updates on Facebook, Instagram, and other major News outlets. You can find the show on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn, as well as read companion articles and updates on Medium, Blogspot, YouTube, and even IMDB. Today, her story continues to reach new audiences through her appearance on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, their Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and video platforms like YouTube, offering a rare look into what happens when undercover police plans go bad, and what it takes to come back stronger. When Undercover Police Plans Go Bad: From Virginia State Police to the ATF. Jennifer Eskew's legacy is not just about danger or deception. It's about courage, adaptability, and a woman who walked into the darkest corners of criminal life and came out still burning. Iranian security forces have escalated from pellet guns to live ammunition during the ongoing protests across the country, drastically increasing deaths that could be as high as over 10-thousand casualties. The situation for protesters seemed to shift after authorities imposed internet blackouts and cut off communication outside of the country. The protests have been fueled by anger over economic hardship, with rising prices and inflation but has expanded into a call for the end of Ayatollah Khomeini's rule and the return of exiled Crown Prince Reva Pahlavi who supports a secular-democracy. FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Khosro Isfahani, Senior Research Analyst at the National Union for Democracy in Iran (NUFDI), who says the fall of this regime is just a matter of time, and explains why the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi receives so much support. Sunday Preaching, Jan 11th, 2026 This sermon addresses how doubt and discouragement can paralyze believers from receiving God's promises, using biblical examples like Hannah's barrenness and Elijah's isolation to show how these emotions kill potential and possibility. The core message is that God sends encouragement through His word to overcome these struggles, urging believers to maintain faith and speak life rather than death, because what God has promised will come to pass regardless of current circumstances. Surviving Consolidation, One Pig at a TimeGreg Gunthorp, a fourth-generation Indiana hog farmer, joins Nate for a wide-ranging conversation about survival, stubbornness, and adaptation in the American meat industry.Greg grew up raising pigs on pasture as part of a diversified family farm, using livestock as a tool to care for the land and keep the operation afloat. But by the early 1990s, the writing was on the wall. In 1994, Greg's father, Theodore, told him that the era of the independent hog farmer was over. Greg didn't accept it. Determined not to be the last Gunthorp to raise pigs, he bought the sow herd from his father and struck out on his own on 65 acres just down the road. Then the market collapsed. By 1998, Greg was selling pigs for less than what his great-grandfather had earned during the Great Depression. Walking away would have made sense, but instead, a chance conversation after a conference changed everything. Someone suggested he call a Chicago restaurant that was buying whole hogs. Greg picked up the phone, not knowing who Charlie Trotter was. “Bring me a pig,” the chef said. That delivery, into one of the most celebrated restaurants in the world, marked Greg's entry into foodservice and a niche that would keep the farm alive. As farm-to-table gained momentum in the late '90s and early 2000s, Gunthorp Farm grew rapidly, at times doubling year over year. Greg talks about what that growth felt like, and why it eventually slowed as larger brands entered the space and redefined what “farm-to-table” meant. “The big guys woke up,” he says. “Most of it comes from them now.”The pandemic brought another shock, especially as downtown Chicago restaurants shut down and office workers disappeared. Greg speaks candidly about the fragility of restaurant-driven farm businesses, thin margins, and how quickly demand can vanish. Throughout the conversation, adaptation is the throughline. From expanding into poultry, sheep, and on-farm processing, to developing fully cooked products and partnering with other farmers, Greg shares how flexibility, and a refusal to quit, has sustained the operation. Today, Greg, his wife Lei, and son Evan farm 240 acres with a growing team, raising and processing pigs, poultry, and sheep using practices rooted in past generations and refined with modern tools. This episode is an unvarnished look at modern meat production, the limits of food trends, and what it really takes to keep farming on your own terms when the odds aren't in your favor. You can find Greg at Gunthorp Farms, a family-run pasture-based livestock and USDA-inspected meat processing farm in LaGrange County, Indiana.https://gunthorpfarms.com/

In this episode of Integrative Lyme Solutions, Dr. Karlfeldt talks with Ali White about her extensive journey with Lyme disease. Ali shares her personal experiences, including the challenges of getting diagnosed and the treatments that ultimately helped her recover. The discussion delves into the complexity of Lyme disease, co-infections, and various innovative treatments she explored, such as IV therapy, infrared saunas, SOT treatment, and NAD IVs. Ali also emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, lifestyle adjustments, and building a supportive community. Ali White is the co‑founder and voice behind The Tick Chicks. Her journey began after nearly a decade of debilitating, mysterious symptoms — from severe nerve pain and fatigue to swelling, cognitive fog, and immune system collapse. For years, despite multiple tests, scans, and consultations with specialists (including podiatrists, neurologists, and a fibromyalgia expert), she received no conclusive diagnosis. At times, the excruciating pain made even simple tasks like tying her shoes impossible; she would later describe seeing her nerves “popping” under her skin. After receiving a confirmed diagnosis of Lyme disease (following additional testing for co‑infections like Chronic Epstein‑Barr Virus and Cytomegalovirus), Ali shifted from patient to advocate. Determined to help others avoid the prolonged uncertainty she experienced, she channeled her journey into building The Tick Chicks — a platform dedicated to education, healing, and support for Lyme warriors around the world. Through storytelling, honest sharing, and community‑building, she aims to bring experts and survivors together and give hope to those still searching for answers. 00:00 Introduction 05:31 Ali White's Lyme Disease Journey 14:54 Discovering Lyme Disease and Integrative Medicine 29:48 Exploring NAD IV Therapy 37:43 Affordable Lyme Disease Treatments 43:24 Personal Journey and Podcast Motivation 46:19 Effective Therapies and Treatments 53:08 Community Support and Family Education ----------------------------- The Karlfeldt Center offers the most cutting-edge and comprehensive Lyme therapies. Oliver wants to clear the air after Dates & Mates, reassuring Cal that telling the truth was the right thing to do… a comment that clearly hits deeper than intended. On the train, Kate's mom sits down across from her and gently asks what's going on. Kate admits she kissed Cal. Her mom offers unexpected advice: find a third man — perspective is everything. Kate takes the advice and goes on a date with Charlie, an American. But things get complicated fast when Kate bumps into Richard, who's out on yet another date. Awkward all around.Kate later confronts Cal for running away after the kiss and leaving her alone to process everything. Wanting to make things right, Laura and Cal work with the event organizer to set up a special do-over for Date 11. Unfortunately, Richard beats Cal to the punch, sending a car to pick Kate up and whisk her away for a carefully planned romantic night.Meanwhile, Delilah continues aggressively pursuing Mac. Determined to clear things up, Mac goes to Evelyn to confess his feelings — and they kiss. He's ecstatic… until he heads to the bathroom, gives himself a pep talk, and suddenly believes he's having a heart attack.Back on Richard's date, Kate is making out with him when Cal calls — three times. She finally answers and rushes to the hospital, where she learns her dad hasn't had a heart attack after all, but a panic attack. When she returns home, she discovers her mom has moved out.Soon after, Kate learns her mom bought a nearby house. Her mom apologizes for not being present, tells Kate she's too talented to be working for someone else, and asks her to decorate the new house. She promises she's ready to change and will be there whenever Kate is ready.Kate goes to tell Cal — but he's clearly upset. He explains that he planned the do-over date. Kate insists she didn't know. They argue, and Cal leaves, telling her he doesn't know what she wants but hopes she finds it. Kate quietly replies, “Maybe I already have.” Laura tries to convince Kate to fight for Cal, but Kate believes Richard is the right choice.Evelyn comes to check on Mac, and the two of them end up kissing again. While out with Richard, Kate learns he's been heavily flirting with other women throughout the dating experiment. When she confronts him, he explains they were both allowed to date — but in the end, he chose her. As they slow dance, Richard admits he chose her because it made for a good story. That's the final straw. Kate wishes him a Merry Christmas and walks away.Kate finds her dad, breaks down in his arms, and cries. He tells her he now understands his panic attacks and knows how to manage them. He reassures her that he has Evelyn — Kate doesn't need to worry about him anymore. She can focus on herself.Kate reconnects with her mom, grateful that she'll finally be around, and the family spends Christmas together.Later, Kate meets Laura. Traditionally, she'd spend Christmas night with Laura and Cal — but Cal doesn't show.
