President Trump responds on social media, "Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered….There have been 14 missiles fired — 13 were knocked down, and 1 was “set free,” because it was headed in a nonthreatening direction. I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done." On Capitol Hill, two bipartisan war powers resolutions are moving their way through Congress. In the House, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) are leading one that blocks U.S. involvement in the conflict. In the Senate, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) says he plans to push for a vote this week on a similar resolution and that Republican lawmakers in his chamber have expressed support for it. Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and European leaders urged Iran to return to the negotiating table. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) comes on to talk about the swirling chaos of Trump 2.0 and where Dems are falling short in response. Before that, Ben does an Opening Argument about why the Left should trumpet the fact that social democratic policies are objectively pro-natalist. Pressuring people to have kids is obviously illiberal and bad, but we should take the W on the fact that the economic policies we want would make things a lot easier for people who want to make that choice (and the fact that this would be good for our society). We open the show with the topic of how the Left has organized itself to go after Tesla and seem to be okay with the idea of “by any means necessary.” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) is a lone voice of sanity, saying destruction of property is wrong. Kevin O'Leary made the same comment, suggesting law-breakers need to be made into an example. Shermichael Singleton added that Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) was acting like a moron to delight in Tesla stock dropping at the hands of their coordinated attacks. Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) was also disappointed in Walz and in the Democrat party. In the meantime, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was on a Leftist video call with 100's, helping to coordinate simultaneous attacks on 500+ Tesla locations/targets on March 29. As a member of Congress, she said all she wanted for her birthday on that day was “for Elon Musk to be taken down.” We then look at the transcript of the hearing in Judge Boasberg's courtroom. Seems the DOJ was supposed to read his mind and should have known how he was going to rule before he even held the hearing. I guess it's cool now to admit he is a partisan, activist hack who does not care about the rule of law. On the flip side, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller commented on how the Trump team, while constantly attacked with lawfare, have been sticking to the rule of law. AG Pam Bondi issued a statement saying that the removal of designated foreign terrorists is not under the purview of district court judges. WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also discussed how it's been obvious how Democrats have been “judge shopping” in an effort to slow-walk the President's agenda. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) spent more time today illustrating how to resolve the issue with these activist judges. It's a great three minutes of history, current events and an application of the Constitution. Seems Mark Cuban was once all for the reduction of personnel and waste in the government. That was all the way back in 2017. We wonder what's changed so much since then? Unhinged and dangerous founder of The Lincoln Project, Rick Wilson has been banned from X for 30 days for promoting acts of violence and terror against Elon Musk. And we close with some wise words from Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. What the hell is going on with the Democratic Party? For the past eight years, it seemed like the party's entire identity revolved around defeating Donald Trump. Now, Trump is returning to office with more power than ever, following a catastrophic 2024 election for the Democrats. This defeat has raised serious questions about the party's strategy, messaging, and even its core identity. This week, Adam sits down with Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA 17th District) to unpack what went wrong in this election cycle, what it means for the party's future, and how this pivotal moment can be a turning point to build a stronger, more effective Democratic Party.SUPPORT THE SHOW ON PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/adamconoverSEE ADAM ON TOUR: https://www.adamconover.net/tourdates/SUBSCRIBE to and RATE Factually! on:» Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/factually-with-adam-conover/id1463460577» Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0fK8WJw4ffMc2NWydBlDyJAbout Headgum: Headgum is an LA & NY-based podcast network creating premium podcasts with the funniest, most engaging voices in comedy to achieve one goal: Making our audience and ourselves laugh. Today's show focuses on just two subjects, one from Sunday and one that was taking place today. The first deals with the revelation that Joe Biden, or his X account, took to social media and announced he was dropping out of the Presidential race and wanted to spend the rest of his time in office focusing on the issues of the nation. The second is today's House Oversight Committee hearing with the Director of the US Secret Service, Kim Cheatle. Biden's decision to step down and how he did it leaves me with questions, concerns and a warning for the GOP. First, how do you like the party of “democracy” rigging the primary and getting over 14 million Americans to vote for him are now going to throw those votes away simply because polling isn't going well. They are literally going to replace the peoples' selection with someone more viable at the polls. That cannot be allowed to be the new norm. So, I suggest the lawful use of lawfare. Also, while we have not seen or heard from the president, we found out the letter was mostly penned by an advisor by the name of Steve Ricdhetti. Then the signature doesn't look like Joe Biden's signature. Finally, why was his statement not on White House letterhead? Then we move to the first part of Director Kim Cheatle's testimony today on Capitol Hill. Unsurprisingly, we were getting little to know information from her. But, on the flip side, there were a number of Democrats on the Committee who were just as incensed about the failure of the USSS and her lack of transparency. This included comments from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Jared Moskowitz (D-FL). On the other side of the aisle, we had great questions from Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC) and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL). But, it was Donalds who got her to admit, accidentally I think, that the USSS knew the shooter had been elevated to a threat in time to get Trump off the stage. Finally, I close with an oldie but a goody from VP Kamala Harris. While she does not have his age problem, her word salad, inappropriate cackles and propensity to address adults like she's talking to children, are going to be serious issues for her. The United States has long been sounding the alarm on the fact that both the notorious Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico and bad actors in China have ill intentions when it comes to the U.S., a five-year investigation has uncovered the two have a complex relationship that was unknown. But how can lawmakers work to break up this dangerous connection between two incredibly powerful, and dangerous, entities? Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA) and Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) discuss how they're working together to strengthen U.S. national security in response to this new threat and why strengthening our military must be a priority as we face partnerships like these. They also share their thoughts on the atrocious human rights violations against the Uyghurs in China and the challenges that stand in the way of passing the National Defense Authorization Act. Hey, everyone, I'm back! Today's show circles around one fundamental concept – does the Democrat party still represent the fundamentals of democracy. I know we are not a true “democracy,” but at it's core, a democracy does believe everyone in society has a voice or a vote. Do you think the current Democrat party believes that? First, I do recap my and my wife's recent trip to New Orleans and then San Antonio, capping off with our race to find enough blue sky to witness the full solar eclipse. And, it was truly a race! Then we dive into today's announced CPI and 3.5% inflation rate. To get a full idea just how bad this is, look at what the average income would be to afford the average priced home just four years ago. Unless you are now making more than $100K a year versus $60,000, you cannot afford what you could just four years ago. Now we dive into whether or not Democrats are really into democracy. To illustrate, we use CBS getting a letter telling them that Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) wants Nicole Shanahan to drop out as VP running mate to RHK, Jr. Her reply clearly shows how disappointed she is and stated this isn't how you demonstrate your talking-point of wanting to support “democracy.” On that same topic, we move to Uri Berliner, Peabody Award-winning senior business editor and reporter at NPR. He recently admitted the Legacy/mainstream media wanted to hurt the Trump presidency and was willing to go along with shoddy information and rumor in that effort. He says they should have been better than that. But it's not just the Legacy/mainstream media siding with the Leftists bent on a Marxist/Authoritarian regime. A CIA agent was caught by an undercover reporter saying how they routinely “nudge” conservatives in an effort to arrest them or discredit them. This is a time to remember how former CBS journalist Sharyl Attkisson testified that the FBI tried to plant child porn on her husband's computer. This leads to a topic my wife and I discussed while on the road back from the eclipse. If you could invent your own form of government, what would it be? We both agreed we want to return to our original Constitutional Republic, but we would add three additional amendments to the Bill of Rights – Term Limits, Only Single Subject Bills and No Congressional Carve-Outs for Laws Passed. That last one refers to another attempt by Congress to not subject themselves to warrantless searches by the FBI. This relates to the push to renew the FISA 702 provision. Jake Sullivan says if Israel doesn't agree to a sustained ceasefire, then the US may have to adjust our policy with Israel. This shows just how far the Biden Administration is willing to sink for votes. Joe Biden just repeated the same lie about teaching 2nd Amendment and we can't own cannons. He also just lied about being first in his family to go to college. He's supposedly as sharp as a tack and always on-the-ball, but the DOJ continues to refuse to release the audio of Biden being interviewed by Special Counsel Robert Hur. Why not release it and show us how brilliant he is? Why do they insist on telling us without evidence? Of course we have seen it ourselves. As just an example, we dive into a montage of Biden telling us how he was raised in the Puerto Rican, Greek, Irish, Catholic, Jewish, Italian, Polish, Palestinian, Persian, and Black communities of Delaware. As we start to wind down, the UK just found Pfizer broke their code of conduct for the pharmaceutical industry. This is on top of losing a court case in 2022 over lying to parents about the safety and efficacy of the COVID shot for children. Finally, on another positive, the NAIA, one step below the NCAA, has banned male athletes from women's sport competitions. It is about time to start welcoming sanity to this entire self-delusion perpetrated by sub-par male athletes who want to dominate in female competition. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (09/15/2023): 3:05pm- While speaking on Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump reacted to news that the Department of Justice indicted Hunter Biden on several gun charges. Trump referred to Hunter's previously negotiated plea deal as “the deal of the century.” Trump's full interview with Welker will air on Sunday—in her debut as Meet the Press host following Chuck Todd's departure. 3:15pm- One day after Rep. Nancy Pelosi seemingly refused to endorse Kamala Harris as President Joe Biden's 2024 running-mate, Rep. Jamie Raskin was asked to react while on CNN. Despite being asked four-times by host Jake Tapper if Harris is Biden's best choice to be Vice President, Raskin refused to simply say “yes.” 3:20pm- According to Ximena Conde of The Philadelphia Inquirer, some people have taken exception to Pennsylvania law enforcement officers posing for a photo with escaped prisoner Danelo Cavalcante after he was captured earlier this week. You can read Conde's article here: https://www.inquirer.com/news/pennsylvania/danelo-cavalcante-caught-police-group-photo-20230914.html 3:35pm- During Friday's press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied that the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike had anything to do with the Biden Administration forcing auto-manufacturers to focus on electric vehicles. Despite Jean-Pierre's denial, the reporters cited that Ford has lost billions of dollars over the last year. Rich notes electric vehicles have fewer parts than traditional, gas-powered vehicles—which will make auto workers less necessary, leaving many unemployed. 3:40pm- While appearing on CNBC, Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) explained that the government is subsidizing electric vehicle manufacturing—with an alarming amount of those federal dollars going towards exorbitant CEO salaries. 3:55pm- Is Zeoli now a wealthy man? Her appearance was seemingly cut short as frustrated New Yorkers began to shout over her. Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) received a similar response from the crowd. The Biden Administration's relaxed border security is suddenly becoming a major issue for Democrats as the 2024 presidential election quickly approaches. 4:15pm- Investigative reporter John Stossel revealed that five years after introducing a sweetened beverage tax, less than the money collected via the tax went towards funding city schools—as was originally promised by Philadelphia officials. Stossel concludes that the Philadelphia soda tax ostensibly took money from poorer citizens and allowed politicians to spend the funds on whatever they wanted. 4:30pm- Hank Berrien of The Daily Wire writes, “three men charged with being part of a plot to kidnap Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer were found not guilty after a two-week trial.” You can read more here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-three-men-found-not-guilty-in-whitmer-kidnapping-plot 4:45pm- Dr. Victoria Coates— Former Deputy National Security Advisor & the Vice President of the Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at The Heritage Foundation—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to preview Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's scheduled visit to Washington D.C. next week. Today's show is a full recap of yesterday's IRS whistleblower sworn testimony before the House Judiciary Committee. While the Republicans seemed focused on getting facts out to the American people, the Democrats were doing all they could to avoid any relevant topics and to throw shade. The only Democrat who stepped in it was Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) who blew it so badly, even Jonathan Turley wrote a piece about it. To start, we look at some of the comments from Democrats in the Committee. Rep. Kweisi Mfume (D-MD) seems to believe we are something other than a Constitutional Republic. In his mind, the DOJ, the FBI and the IRS are there to help keep us all in-line. Not sure what form of government he think we are, but that's not it. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wanted to focus on climate change, the gun debate and equity. The one thing she did mention in which I am in total agreement is in getting US Attorney David Weiss in front of the Committee. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) played cute and tried to make it look as those the IRS whistleblowers represented the overzealous Javert, who persecuted the poor, innocent Jean Valjean, when he evoked Les Miserables. In his mind, Hunter Biden is being needlessly persecuted by over-the-top IRS agents. But, the devastating moment came from Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) who tried to be cute and make it look like Joe Biden didn't know about his son's business dealings with CEFC China Energy. Instead, he ended up implicating Joe Biden as being keenly aware of his son's business dealings – something Joe has denied since before the election. So much for that line of defense moving forward. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) did get to another point of how Hunter claimed a hotel room expense for his dad as a business expense. So, either Hunter lied on his taxes and tried to claim a business deduction that wasn't true. Or, he was telling the truth and Joe Biden was involved in yet another business dealing with Hunter. Either way, it's bad. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) decimated the coordinated effort by Democrats to co-opt the two-tiered system narrative. While Democrats bemoaned the inequity of IRS audits happening to more black and brown people, Luna pointed out that those same Democrats were bending over backwards protecting a privileged white man! Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) reminds us the investigation did not start with Hunter Biden. However, now that it has moved to him, there is over $17 million dollars of known transactions that have flowed from Ukraine, China and Romania into the Biden Crime Family. Finally, in a beautiful exchange between Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and IRS Agent Gary Shapley that as soon as “Main Justice” was contacted, the entire investigation came to a grinding halt. Jordan also suggested the need to get AG Garland, US Attorney Weiss and other top Justice officials before the Committee to help explain the shift in the investigation. As Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) states, for Garland, it's like he's flushed the toilet and the water is suddenly rising. He's got a serious problem on his hands. Climate activists have been lying to the American people for years! In the show's opening, we give you statistics that prove the pipedreams they have for carbon neutral status by 2050 will NOT plan out. Lawmakers are FINALLY paying attention to the Ukraine spending that doesn't add up. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) asked the obvious question: "We spend about $1 Trillion on our military. How can WE be out of ammunition? Where is all the money going?" We dig into the possibilities of the show. More and more Americans do NOT agree with our involvement in the war in Ukraine. We may be losing some GOP presidential candidates soon. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is in a VERY bad spot and is NOT getting his expected support. Big donors are anxiously watching. Also, former VP Mike Pense has raised hardly any significant money and may miss the first televised debate in August by not qualifying!

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: During an interview with Erin Burnett on CNN, Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) suggested that the FBI needs to explain their “rationale” for downplaying the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2022 presidential election. In an opinion editorial published by The Wall Street Journal, Rep. Khanna emphasized that Twitter needs to protect free speech—writing, “[c]ensorship of the Hunter Biden story might have helped my party, but it was bad for our democracy.” On Tuesday evening, investigative journalist Matt Taibbi began releasing yet another series of Tweets documenting Twitter's efforts to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story at the behest of the Biden campaign team. While appearing on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, Congressman Kevin McCarthy said Facebook and Google should be investigated, warning that—much like Twitter—it's possible they have been assisting the Democrat party in suppressing and promoting select stories. Elon Musk has fired Twitter's General Counsel James Baker—“citing his alleged involvement in suppressing the release of internal documents regarding Twitter's censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal,” according to The Daily Mail. End of Show- Who Won Social Media? + Zeoli gets preempted for college basketball…
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (12/06/2022): 3:05pm- While speaking with reporters, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky encouraged Americans to wear masks as part of an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the flu. 3:10pm- How bad is crime in Philadelphia? Bad enough that one local gas station was compelled to hire armed guards to patrol their lot and protect patrons from violent criminals. 3:15pm- According to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Chris Palmer, District Attorney Larry Krasner recently called “the Republican-led drive to impeach and remove him from office” an “authoritarian attack”—accusing the Republican party of attacking “democracy across the country.” 3:35pm- While appearing on MSNBC with Joy Reid, NBC Senior Reporter Ben Collins compared Elon Musk to Kanye West and January 6th rioters—suggesting that they have been “radicalized” by the internet. 3:45pm- Attorney Michael Avenatti has been found guilty of defrauding his former client, Stormy Daniels. He has been sentenced to 14-years in prison. 4:00pm- John Paul Mac Isaac—Author of “American Injustice: My Battle to Expose the Truth”—joins The Rich Zeoli to discuss his new book which documents his experience being caught-up in the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. In 2019, Hunter Biden commissioned John Paul's Wilmington, Delaware electronic repair shop to fix his liquid-damaged laptops. John Paul explains, “[c]oncerned that I was sitting on evidence in a criminal investigation, I set out to hand everything over to the FBI" after Biden never returned to collect his property. He continues, “[w]hen the story broke, Big Tech and social and mainstream media blocked the reporting” and “[m]y actions were labeled Russian disinformation.” Despite doing the right thing every step of the way, John Paul unfairly had his character attacked—ultimately, resulting in the forced closure of his business, The Mac Shop. During the interview, John Paul also reacts to Elon Musk's recent releasing of emails confirming that Twitter suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story at the behest of the Biden campaign team—vindicating John Paul once and for all. His incredible book is available at: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/American-Injustice/John-Paul-Mac-Isaac/9781637586846 4:35pm- The Rich Zeoli Show goes international! OPEC+, including Saudi Arabia and Russia, have decided to cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day. CNBC's Brian Sullivan, on the ground in Vienna for the announcement, deciphers the message OPEC and Russia are sending to the United States with their decision, and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) offers a message that we as Americans could send back. Plus, the team unpacks the hairy details of getting a Twitter-Musk deal done, and Louisiana is firing back against ESG. It's Friday, so that means it's panel time."The House Judiciary Committee quickly approved two articles of impeachment Friday against President Trump on party-line votes accusing him of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress," the Washington Post reported. "The full House is expected to vote to impeach Trump next week. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has said there is 'no chance' the Senate will vote to remove Trump from office." Trump is now on his way to becoming the third president in history to be impeached, after Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson."Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on Friday for 'closure' over the Brexit divisions that have riven or split the United Kingdom, saying his election victory provided an overwhelming mandate to take Britain out of the European Union on January 31," Reuters reported. "Johnson, the face of the victorious 'Leave' campaign in the 2016 referendum, fought the election under the slogan of 'Get Brexit Done,' promising to end the deadlock and spend more on health, education and the police." Now that the votes have been tabulated, the die has been cast. What does this mean going forward?"The United States and China cooled their trade war on Friday, announcing a 'Phase one' agreement that reduces some US tariffs in exchange for increased Chinese purchases of American farm products and other goods," Reuters reported. "Beijing has agreed to buy $32 billion in additional agricultural goods over the next two years, US officials said, from a baseline of $24 billion purchased in 2017, before the trade war started. China would also ramp-up purchases of US manufactured goods, energy and services."So, more than 180 House Democrats joined a nearly united Republican caucus Wednesday night in passing the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, a $738 billion military budget that includes funding for the Space Force as a sixth armed service and increases the Pentagon's budget by $22 billion. On the House floor Wednesday night, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) excoriated the bill, saying, "The bipartisan amendment to stop the war in Yemen: stripped by the White House. The bipartisan amendment to stop the war against Iran: stripped by the White House." Only 41 Democrats voted against the bill. What does all of this really mean?"A confidential trove of government documents obtained by The Washington Post reveals that senior US officials failed to tell the truth about the war in Afghanistan throughout the 18-year campaign, making rosy pronouncements they knew to be false and hiding unmistakable evidence the war had become unwinnable," the Post reported Monday. Sounds like Iraq and Vietnam all over again. On this episode of The Critical Hour, Dr. Wilmer Leon is joined by Lee Stranahan, co-host of Fault Lines on Sputnik News Radio. After five weeks of campaigning, including TV debates, phone calls and door-to-door canvassing, and with the question of Brexit looming, UK citizens went to the polls Thursday, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservatives, Jeremy Corbyn's Labour and Jo Swinson's Liberal Democrats each hoping to have swayed voters toward them. What's going on in Britain?"US producer prices were unexpectedly unchanged in November as increases in food and gasoline prices were offset by declining costs for services, pointing to muted inflation despite a recent uptick in consumer prices," Reuters reported Thursday. However, the news outlet also reported, "Wall Street's main indexes hit record highs on Thursday following news that the United States had reached a 'deal in principle' with China to resolve a trade war that has rattled markets for nearly two years." These two issues seem to be incongruent. What's going on in the economy? So, more than 180 House Democrats joined a nearly united Republican caucus Wednesday night in passing the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, a $738 billion military budget that includes funding for the Space Force as a sixth armed service and increases the Pentagon budget by $22 billion.
