Mercedes Reserve Driver Valtteri Bottas joins Tom Clarkson to look ahead to this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest. Before they dive into the big talking points, you'll hear from Max Verstappen after the four-time World Champion confirmed he'll be staying at Red Bull for 2026 to end weeks of speculation around his future. Oscar Piastri goes into the weekend 16 points ahead of Lando Norris at the top of the Drivers' Standings. Whose driving style does the Hungaroring circuit suit best out of the two McLaren drivers? And with the summer break meaning a four-week wait until the next Grand Prix in Zandvoort, how important is this weekend in the title race from a psychological point of view? Ferrari have announced that Team Principal Fred Vasseur has signed a multi-year contract with the team. What statement does that send about their intentions? And with Charles Leclerc scoring four podiums in the last six races, and Lewis Hamilton winning a record eight times in Hungary, will the team continue the progress they made with their rear suspension upgrade in Belgium? Plus, Valtteri gives us the lowdown on Mercedes – why have they struggled for performance in the European leg of the season? What are their chances of returning to the podium in Hungary? And what advice has he given Kimi Antonelli after his recent confidence issues?
This was a day I'll never forget. Easton and I took the Bassmaster Classic Trophy fishing for the first time on Lake Mille Lacs, then headed over to George Liddle's cabin to record the podcast. I always learn so much from this guy, and experiencing his skill first hand in the boat that day, brought a whole new perspective to this episode and Easton as an angler. Enjoy as we talk everything bass fishing, and dive deep into the mind of one of the best fisherman in the world. Minnesota has put out some amazing fisherman, but has never brought a World Championship home...until this year. https://youtu.be/Qe_UEe1_M3k Today on the podcast I'm honored to sit down with Erin Hamlin — Olympic Luger, World Champion, and the first American to medal in singles luge. But her story starts in Remsen, NY, where a 12-year-old kid signed up for a wheeled luge clinic on a whim… and ended up competing in four Olympic Games. We go deep on what it really takes to compete at the highest level — not just physically, but mentally. Erin shares what it's like to train in a barn gym as well as the Olympic training center, the pressures and insane nuance that goes into competing in Luge to get to the Olympics. We also talk about the broken model of youth sports, and how she navigated the incredibly personal decision to retire on her own terms and find what's next. This is an inspiring, behind-the-scenes conversation about chasing big goals, mental and physical toughness, and reinventing yourself after a career in professional sports. I first met Christian, who is Argentinian, in 2000, at the Quest for the Best world bartending championships in Orlando. I'd competed in Quest and Roadhouse and other contests like those quite a few times, but when many of us saw Christian that year - who competed in the Rookie division - a lot of us just decided to retire from competition and become judges! He was that good; next-level, Michael Jordan-good. And he was just getting started: Christian went on to utterly dominate flair bartending contests, becoming practically unbeatable, not just in exhibition and working flair, but also in pourtesting and speed rounds. Headhunted to bartend and perform in Las Vegas, he spent 14 years there before relocating to Miami almost a decade ago, working at the Fontainebleau, Sweet Liberty and Sexy Fish. He's just opened Presidente Miami, the third branch of an Argentinian group of cocktail bar-restaurants and their first American opening, and that was as good an excuse as any for us to sit down and catch up on old times. The Western lifestyle is experiencing an unprecedented surge in popularity, thanks in part to cultural phenomena like Yellowstone. At the forefront of this movement is the PBR (Professional Bull Riders), an industry leader that revolutionized the sport with its innovative PBR Teams league. This groundbreaking format transforms individual bull riding into a dynamic team competition, featuring five-on-five games. The PBR Teams league's regular season includes each of its 10 teams hosting dedicated homestands, complemented by two neutral site events. The highly anticipated first neutral site event of the 2025 PBR Teams season is set to electrify the greater Atlanta area on July 26-27. Fans can catch all the action as the league bucks into Duluth, Georgia, at the Gas South Arena. Local fans will rally behind the Carolina Cowboys, the region's closest PBR Teams representative. Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, the Cowboys proudly represent the entire Southeastern United States. This formidable team is owned by NASCAR legend Richard Childress, with General Manager Austin Dillon and Head Coach Jerome Davis leading the charge. The Carolina Cowboys roster is stacked with talent, including the formidable 2022 PBR World Champion Daylon Swearingen. As one of the few professional bull riders from New York State, Swearingen has been a consistent force for the team since the league's inception in 2022. Following the start of the season last weekend, the Carolina Cowboys have already established themselves as a contender, boasting a 2-1 game record and ranking No. 3 in the league as they relentlessly pursue the PBR Teams World Championship title this October.

Tank Slappers is back to review a hectic German GP at the Sachsenring, which celebrated a record crowd of over 250,000 across the four days. Marc Marquez took his fourth consecutive double victory and seventh in 2025 so far, but he had to earn his 10th Sprint win of the season after an early mistake dropped him to fifth on the opening lap. Dre Harrison, Richard Asher and Oriol Puigdemont break down why Marquez is still "cruising" at this level, including his seven-second victory in Sunday's Grand Prix. The German GP was also a race of extreme attrition. By the time the race started, the field was down to 18 starters, with Maverick Vinales and Franco Morbidelli out via injury, and Enea Bastianini suffering a bout of appendicitis. To make matters worse, only 10 riders finished the race, the lowest amount for a MotoGP race since Australia 2011. Why? Six crashes at Turn 1, one of the nastiest on the calendar. Dre explains what makes the hairpin at the Sachsenring one of the trickiest on the whole calendar. There's also reaction to the news that the Jorge Martin contract dispute is seemingly over, with the World Champion set to stay at the team and announce said news at a press conference in Brno next week. Oriol explains how a protracted court battle and the Assen speech made by Carmelo Ezepelta left Martin virtually no choice but to concede in his fight against Aprilia.

In this episode, I'm joined by World Champion curler, mom, and Registered Psychotherapist Sarah Wilkes, who brings a rare and valuable dual perspective to the world of sport — one from the ice, and one from the therapist's chair. Currently playing lead on the #1 ranked team in the world and fresh off a World Championship win, Sarah's path hasn't been a straight line. We explore the emotional intensity she's carried since her early days, the influence of her multi-sport background, and the tools she's developed to stay grounded, curious, and consistently high-performing. We also dive into her evolution from fastball to elite curling, her shift into psychotherapy and supporting athletes through a mental health lens, and the difference between mental toughness and true wellness. Sarah shares how curiosity helps shift pressure into presence, how she balances high-level competition with motherhood and team connection, and what it really means to support your whole self — not just the athlete part. Whether you're a competitive curler, a coach, or simply someone looking to approach sport (and life) with more intention, this conversation is packed with insight, heart, and practical takeaways.

This episode is brought to you by Dropbox Dash, an official technology partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team. Now a multiple race winner, podium finisher and polesitter, Lando Norris is ready to take the next step in his Formula 1 career and become World Champion. To do so in 2025, he'll have to beat his equally talented teammate Oscar Piastri. But despite a sometimes challenging first half of the season, Lando says he's a better driver this year and just needs to find some consistency. Speaking to Tom Clarkson, Lando talks about how he's evolved as a driver on and off track since winning his first Grand Prix in Miami in 2024, what McLaren are doing differently in their approach since becoming Constructors' World Champions, how he moved on from his collision with Oscar in Canada and why he's working hard to switch off from Formula 1 when he's not racing. Lando also tells us how F1 The Movie star Brad Pitt performed in the 2023 McLaren car at Austin recently and what it would mean to win his home race at this weekend's British Grand Prix. Plus, Lando's race engineer Will Joseph joins the pod to discuss how their relationship has changed since they started working together in 2019.
