When soccer star Sadio Mané from Senegal was playing for Liverpool in the English Premier League, he was one of the world’s highest paid African players, making millions of dollars per year. Fans spotted a picture of Mané carrying an iPhone with a cracked screen and joked about him using the damaged device. His response was unflustered. "Why would I want ten Ferraris, twenty diamond watches, and two jet planes?” he asked. “I starved, I worked in the fields, played barefoot, and didn't go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. . . . [Give] some of what life has given me." Mané knew how selfish it would be to hoard all his prosperity when so many of his neighbors back home struggled under crushing conditions. Hebrews reminds us that this generous way of life is for all of us, not only for those who are wealthy. “Do not forget to do good and to share with others,” Scripture says, “for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (13:16). Nurturing a generous heart isn’t only the right thing to do, but according to Hebrews, generosity also makes God smile. Who doesn’t want to make God pleased? Generosity isn’t defined simply by how much we give. Instead, generosity refers to the posture of our heart. One thing we can do that’s “pleasing to [God]” (v. 21) is to simply open our hands and share what we have.

Welcome back to Your World of Creativity! Today, we're traveling—at least virtually—to Milan, Italy, where our guest, Davide Colla, has been crafting memorable narratives and experiences for some of the world's most iconic brands.DAcide 's Website @dado150 on Instagram Davide is the founder of the award-winning digital branding agency 150UP and has led projects for Ferrari, Prada, Amazon, and many more. He's also co-founder of Viento Padel, creating products that connect sport, lifestyle, and passion. Here is an overview of our conversation:1. Davide, you've worked with brands that are synonymous with style and innovation — Ferrari, Armani, Alessi. When you first approach a brand like that, how do you begin crafting a narrative that stays true to their DNA but still brings something new and inspiring? How do you balance respecting tradition while pushing toward innovation?2. Your love for technology is clearly intertwined with your design philosophy. How do you see emerging technologies — like AI, VR, or AR — changing the future of brand storytelling and user experience? Are there any recent projects where you've integrated these technologies in surprising ways?3. In founding Viento Padel, you moved from working with brands to building one yourself. What lessons from your agency and branding work did you apply — or maybe re-learn — when creating a brand from scratch? What has surprised you most about being on the entrepreneur side of the table?4. You emphasize creating 'solid foundations' for brands that can be shared with the world. In today's fast-paced digital world, what does a solid brand foundation look like to you? Where do you think brands sometimes cut corners that hurt them in the long run?5. As a creative director and mentor, what advice do you give young designers and entrepreneurs who want to build brands that last and influence culture? What qualities or mindsets do you think are essential today?Special thanks to our sponsor, White Cloud Coffee Roasters.

    The Mancave Movie Review Podcast

Hello folks and welcome back to Episode 360!!! This is post Steve's retirement and Ken, Mark, and Jeff will be talking about that great and fantastic film, Ford vs Ferarri.  This movie stars Matt Damon, Christian Bale, John Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Josh Lucas, Tracy Letts, and many more.  Be patient as we are under construction as we integrate new software and fumbled through this update.  As you'll here, at we were live last Sunday night and it was a surprise to us all, but we just ran with it.    After an ill fated meeting in Italy, the representatives of Ford Motor Company report back to Henry Ford II to inform him of the news. Ford decides he wants to bury Farrari at the finish line at Le Mans and hires the best designers and engineers money can buy, because, after all they spend more money each year on toilet paper than Ferrari spends on cars. A partnership is established with Carol Shelby to bring a car to life that can compete at Le Mans and do the burying.

The 2025 Spanish Grand Prix delivered high drama, top-tier strategy, and a dominant performance from McLaren. In this episode, we break down all the action from Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where Oscar Piastri claimed a flawless victory from pole, leading every lap to secure his fifth win of the F1 2025 season. Teammate Lando Norris crossed the line in second, locking out a sensational McLaren 1-2 finish. We also discuss Charles Leclerc's solid third-place finish for Ferrari, extending his streak of strong performances, and dive into the weekend's biggest controversy — the dramatic late-race collision between Max Verstappen and George Russell. Verstappen's 10-second time penalty and three license points have put him just one point away from a Formula 1 race ban, shifting the balance in the 2025 F1 championship battle. Other standout performances include Nico Hülkenberg's impressive P5 for Kick Sauber and a strong showing from rookie Isack Hadjar, who brought home valuable points for Racing Bulls.

F1 journalists Jesús Balseiro and Julianne Cerasoli join Tom Clarkson in the Barcelona paddock to dissect a dramatic Spanish Grand Prix, where Oscar Piastri secured his fifth win of the season and Max Verstappen received a 10-second penalty for causing a collision with George Russell.  Piastri is now 10 points clear of McLaren teammate Lando Norris at the top of the World Championship standings. Where did Oscar have the edge over Lando at the Circuit de Catalunya? How crucial was the start to the outcome of this race? And what does Lando need to do next to swing the momentum of this title race back in his favour? Tom, Jesús and Julianne share their thoughts on the late incident between Verstappen and Russell, which saw the Dutchman demoted from P5 to P10. Why did the collision happen? And what does this result mean for Max's hopes of a record-equalling fifth title in a row? Sauber Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley joins the pod to reflect on Nico Hulkenberg's incredible drive from P15 to P5, which secured the team's best result since Imola 2022 and lifted them off the bottom of the Constructor Standings. Let's jump right into our Quick Hits! First up, that F1 movie is hitting theaters on June 27th. Get ready, because due to insane demand, Warner Bros. and IMAX are actually expanding the Fan-First Premiere Screenings of Apple Original Film F1 to 400 IMAX locations worldwide. And guess what? We've got one right here in Coquitlam! Shifting gears to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, it's wild to think that since 2016, only two drivers have taken the win there: Max Verstappen in 2016, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and Lewis Hamilton in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Also, make sure to check out F1: The Academy when it drops on Netflix on May 28th. Fun fact: the last McLaren driver to win in Monaco was Lewis Hamilton back in 2008, the very year he became champion! Huge congrats are also in order for Spaniard Alex Palou for his Indy 500 win over Marcus Ericsson. That was his first-ever oval win, and he's been on fire, winning 5 out of 6 races and leading the championship by a whopping 108 points! Now, about Imola's future on the calendar... it's a bit up in the air with Madrid joining next year. Imola's contract is up, and there's talk about whether they'll get an extra year after missing 2023 due to flooding. Word on the street is F1 asked for a cool 60 million Euros to keep the race going. Just a heads-up, Barcelona's contract wraps up after 2026. On the partnership front, we've got some new big names! Pepsi has officially joined as an Official Partner of F1, with Sting Energy stepping in as the official Energy Drink, and Gatorade becoming the Official Partner of F1 Sprint. Moving onto a quick recap of the Monaco Grand Prix. If you want all the details, you can find full analysis on Wikipedia and Motorsport.com. Stefano Domenicali has actually come out defending F1's Monaco GP tire change rule after some drivers voiced their criticism. And even though some folks called it a "garbage race," the ABC/ESPN ratings in the US were absolutely massive, pulling in the largest live audience ever for a Monaco Grand Prix telecast! Our main topic for discussion today is a big one: How can we actually fix the Monaco Grand Prix? We'll be diving into some feasible ways to create more overtaking opportunities and exploring proposed changes to the circuit itself to try and save the Grand Prix. In other F1 news, we'll be asking the question: Does Lewis Hamilton need a new engineer? We'll also share the full radio exchange from Hamilton's pretty frustrating Monaco GP. Mattia Binotto has admitted that Audi "won't have the best power unit" in 2026. Plus, Adrian Newey suggests Max Verstappen will "always chase the fastest car" amidst all the speculation about a switch to Aston Martin. And finally, we'll be speculating if big things are coming for Ferrari with a new wing! And to wrap things up, a quick Spanish GP Preview! Fernando Alonso has become an ambassador for the Circuit de Barcelona, and he's pretty confident it'll be around for the next 3-4 decades, even if there are two Spanish GPs in 2026, as he sees the others as temporary. Also, F1 is reportedly clamping down on flexi-wings at the Spanish GP. Join the conversation! Follow us on X @ScuderiaF1Pod Subscribe to the Scuderia F1 Podcast wherever you get your podcasts. Lando Norris won Monaco, but Max Verstappen will be tough to beat in Spain. That's what ESPN's Albert Fabrega thinks. He tells Tom Clarkson how Red Bull have taken a step closer to McLaren. New rules on flexible front wings come into play in Barcelona. F1 tech expert Albert breaks down the rule change, the effect it will have on the cars and explains why he doesn't think it will change the outcome of the race. Tom and Albert discuss Lando's Monaco confidence, whether Oscar Piastri can return to his best after a more difficult weekend in Monte Carlo, how Spain is a possible 'turning point' for Mercedes, why Ferrari may struggle to match their Monaco speed and whether Williams can challenge the red cars again. Whilst that show is between seasons, Race Members have been enjoying an exclusive 1993 Revisited series, which takes a race-by-race look back at the 1993 F1 season. On this episode, 1993 Revisited heads to Monaco where Ayrton Senna was aiming to become the first six-time F1 winner around the famous streets of the principality. Glenn Freeman, Edd Staw, Ben Anderson and Matt Beer look back on a miserable day for Senna's rival Alain Prost, who picked up a jump start penalty and then stalled in the pits when serving it. We also analyse a breakout performance from Michael Schumacher that ended in heartbreak, and welcome Ferrari to the sharp end of the field for the first time in 1993. Coming back to Senna, we discuss where his final Monaco win ranks among his other successes there, after what seemed to be a more subdued performance than we were used to seeing from him in Monte Carlo. To listen to every episode of 1993 Revisited and get access to ad-free episodes of all The Race's podcasts, plus loads of bonus podcasts, join us on Patreon today - act quickly and you can enjoy 75% off your first month! Now, his task is giving George Russell and Kimi Antonelli the best Mercedes he can.
