SQuire and Louise (aka ‘Squeeze') tell the story of Ruby the mixed breed herding dog who was two hours away from euthanasia when a policeman Trooper Dan discovered her and took her home. Trooper Dan had overcome ADHD and it was just meant to be that he should find Ruby who needed to overcome what the shelter was calling doggie ADD. Since most herding dogs have brilliant minds and quick reactions, a healthy smart, determined to be hard working herding dog can often appear as bad or difficult or lacking attention span, Deborah explains, and yet when given a job they outperform all others. In this case there are so many twists and turns to the journey Ruby made and the boy she saved and the doggie actors chosen that you'll have to hear this show to hear the full beautiful story and watch the movie to see it all. When a homeless pet finds its rightful owner like Ruby did Squeeze calls that ‘Dog Winks' which is the title of their book of short stories including Ruby's. Yes, the episode title is a big Daft Punk reference, kind of obvious. But this is also a sendoff in a different way, as while we give our thanks to the acclaimed French electronic music duo for their years of excellence, we are also sending Andrew off on this show as he will be undergoing a bit of a “training arc” of sorts for a little while. But he wanted to be on for these last two shows we did, to both groan at the CR Anime Awards and also give a verbal smacking-down to Sentai for their “interesting” executive decisions as of late. And on top of that, we also take a little trip “around the world” to see how some countries are handling certain shows on the line (read: not very well), we discover who the new Kishibe Rohan is and how the old one reacted to it (read: not very well), and we also take a look at a pair of ComicFesta shows that serve as the answer to “well it’s somebody’s fetish I guess.” Make sure to watch High-Rise Invasion on Netflix and laugh at it, too. start – thanks for everything, Fry’s Electronics1:44 – intro7:47 – Daft Punk call it a career after 28 years12:40 – Demon Slayer S2 confirmed for 202120:52 – first look at Mamoru Hosoda’s new film Belle23:38 – the winner of the Rohan Bowl30:04 – Netflix March drops (B: The Beginning, DOTA)37:29 – Netflix and Wit Studio partner for animator academy41:24 – MyAnimeList getting big-name funding47:25 – preamble: American stupidity in 202150:14 – several anime series banned from internet platforms by Russian government55:16 – the wild rabbit hole of bilibili’s advertiser exodus59:51 – Seven Seas and their cold-feet editorializing1:05:52 – a pair of ComicFesta shows coming soon1:09:16 – Tokyo Mew Mew New coming 20221:11:21 – Viz Media books coming in the fall1:25:07 – Mr. Osomatsu dub cast re-announced1:31:54 – more soundtracks on vinyl up for pre-order1:37:47 – The Irresponsible Captain Tylor ultra edition delay1:39:06 – Sentai May home video slate1:43:17 – Sentai acquires BAKI (Netflix)… with a catch1:52:04 – Funimation May home video slate2:00:02 – Discotek April 27th releases2:04:19 – Tokyo Anime Film Festival Awards winners additional audio from:Daft Punk (1993-2021) – “One More Time,” “Human After All”Toonami Midnight Run Special Edition promo Apple Podcasts – https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/podcastona/id1348141210?mt=2Google Play – https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5wb2RjYXN0b25hLnN1cnJlYWxyZXNvbHV0aW9uLmNvbS9mZWVkL3BvZGNhc3QSpotify – https://open.spotify.com/show/2JZLO3LfoeHepomejTw4TPiHeartRadio – https://www.iheart.com/podcast/256-podcastona-43099114/TuneIn – https://tunein.com/podcasts/Podcasts/PodcastONA-p1249922/Stitcher – https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/podcastona/ Where to find us:Alex – @AuraOfAzureAndy – @MangaMan9000, youtube.com/DubTalkJet – @Divinenega, animationinfinity.comDuelist – @HeartofSword75, youtube.com/DuelistG As always, check out surrealresolution.com for more content, and follow @SurrealReso for more updates on the show, our continued news posts, reviews, and our fellow podcasts.

Released on Netflix March 20, 2020 The Platform is one of the more interesting films to discuss amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The film, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, follows Goreng as he volunteers to spend six months in The Hole, a vertical prison of sorts. His first roommate, Trimagasis tells him, "There are three kinds of people: those on top, those on the bottom, and those who fall." What does this mean within The Hole? This allegorical tale pulls no punches, but leaves no easy answers. What is our responsibility to others? What agency do individuals have within systems? What is a fair distribution of wealth? Host Erroll Southers is joined by Alex Ago, Aubrey Hicks, & Jonathan Schwartz.

This news comes just a few days after Disney halted production on its upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The decision will affect all Marvel shows currently in production, including Loki and WandaVision. Shows that are currently in pre-production will continue to work remotely until further notice. It remains unclear how long the pause on production will last. At the time of writing, Disney has made no announcement regarding delayed release dates for Loki and WandaVision. Additionally, earlier this week Disney announced that it would delay its live-action Mulan film indefinitely, which was slated for a March 27 release date.   AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.   Agents of SHIELD Producer Reveals New Still of Daisy Johnson's Final Season Look https://comicbook.com/marvel/2020/03/14/agents-of-shield-season-7-trailer-new-look-chloe-bennet/ Long-time SHIELD producer Geoffrey Colo has taken to Twitter to unveil a new still of Chloe Bennet's Agent Daisy Johnson is her Sunday best. As seen in a still that's previously been circulated, Bennet's character is adorned head to toe with period-specific clothing as the Agents fight their way through the timeline. Bennet herself previously teased the final season would please long-time fans of the show. "I can say we are back in time, so we have to get… the whole goal is to get back to where we were," Bennet explained last October. She added, "So that means traveling through a bunch of different time periods and who knows who we see on the way back, if we even get back. It's actually one of the most… season 4 and season 7 are definitely my favorite seasons of SHIELD. For the long-term fans, it's a really big pay-up and it's really, really fun,” she added. “When you've done six seasons and that many hours of TV, it's pretty hard on the writers to think what else do we do, and they killed it. Season seven is a really, really fun one."   MCU – MARVEL STUDIOS   Marvel’s final Black Widow trailer ‘goes back to the beginning’ https://www.polygon.com/2020/3/9/21171352/black-widow-final-trailer-taskmaster-marvel-studios-release-may-1 Marvel Studios dropped its final trailer on Monday before Black Widow’s May 1 release date. The movie, which takes place after Captain America: Civil War and before Avengers: Infinity War, will follow Natasha Romanoff — the Black Widow — for one last mission. The new trailer focuses heavily on Romanoff’s familial relationships, particularly with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who is essentially a sister. We’ve seen the two women fight in a previous trailer, but this is a more intimate look at their relationship and bond. Like Romanoff, Belova was a fellow recruit for the Black Widow program.   OUTRO [55:58]   Haley, Lauren, Michelle and Stargate Pioneer love to hear back from you about how you would rate the episode we just discussed, your top 5 Marvel character lists, your science of Marvel questions, who would you pick in an all-female Avenger team, or which Marvel male you would like to see shirtless. Roxxon's cameos have continued in a Marvel Cinematic Universe short film as a gas station visited by Phil Coulson while en route to investigate Thor's hammer in New Mexico while Iron Man 3 had a Roxxon executive captured by the Ten Rings. Roxxon has also had a significant presence in Marvel Television productions, appearing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Daredevil and, perhaps most prominently Cloak & Dagger (in addition to smaller shoutouts in Runaways and Iron Fist). Sydney Freeland: Working with Netflix & Maintain Creative FreedomSPECIAL SUNDANCE EDITION of the Indie Film Hustle PodcastI ran into many filmmakers while fighting the blizzard at this year's Sundance Film Festival but one of the most impressive of the bunch was director Sydney Freeland. Sydney has had a challenging journey to become a director and her story is inspiring, to say the least.Prior to making her first feature-length film, Sundance darling Drunktown's Finest, Sydney Freeland previously worked as a production assistant, as a writer, and as a camera intern. Freeland worked in a number of areas, including; National Geographic, Walt Disney, The Food Network and Comedy Central. Freeland garnered her first taste of success with the six-minute short film, Hoverboard, utilizing Kickstarter to help fund the short. The film was inspired by her love of Back to the Future Part II.Drunktown's Finest is her second venture into filmmaking. The 95-minute long film is a coming-of-age story about the complex issues surrounding identity and the struggles faced by Native American people. The film's name is inspired by a controversial 20/20 segment on ABC News, which branded the town of Gallup, New Mexico as "Drunk Town, USA", after the increase of instances of alcoholism on the border of the Navajo Nation.Freeland wrote, directed Drunktown's Finest as means to combat the negative stereotype of her home community. Sydney Freeland, who is herself a transgender woman, is also directing a digital series about queer and trans women called Her Story.Photo by: NetflixAt this year's Sundance Film Festival Sydney Freeland is premiering her latest film Deidra & Laney Rob a Train, which was financed completely by Netflix. Two teenage sisters start robbing trains to make ends meet after their single mother's emotional meltdown in an electronics store lands her in jail. Coming to Netflix March 17. Here's the trailer. We sit down and discuss how it was like to work with Netflix, if the rumors of creative freedom are true and what Sundance has done for her career. All of these Sundance Series episodes will be co-hosted by Sebastian Twardosz from Circus Road Films and a co-production with Media Circus.Right click here to download the MP3Download on iTunes DirectBTW, Here's a trailer to Sydney Freeland's first Sundance Film Festival film, Drunktown's Finest. Three young Native Americans- an adopted Christian girl, a rebellious father-to-be, and a promiscuous transsexual, strive to escape the hardships of life on an Indian reservation.LINKS AND RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODEJason Shuman - IMDBRebel in the RyeSebastian TwardoszCircus Road FilmsMedia Circus PRSPONSORSDirecting Actors Master Course – (30% OFF – CODE: HUSTLE)Get Your Film on Netflix, Hulu & Amazon & Keep 100% off the Revenue - DistribberHollywood Camera Work: Mastering High-End Blocking and Staging (30% OFF – CODE: HUSTLE
