WEEK IN GEEK: Andrew builds a new gaming PC while Dan plays Batman: The Telltale Series - "Episode 1: Realm of Shadows." SPOILERS REDUX AND DMCA C&D: Dan and Andrew's discussion was initiated by a post over at the AV Club that covered an instance where major television network, AMC, issued a cease and desist order to a Walking Dead fan site, The Spoiling Dead Fans, when they started listing potential spoilers to the next season's premier. It's a broad topic that is hard to talk about (and, at times, infuriating), but they do their best to really take this topic apart as it relates to television shows and the networks' loyalty to their paying advertisers. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDREW! Leave your thoughts as comments at ForAllIntents.net or at the official Facebook and/or Google+ pages. To help the show out, please leave a review on the iTunes store. For all intents and purposes, that was an episode recap. Ein Update muss her. Mit Prince of Persia – The Shadow and the Flame gehen die beiden auf eine Zeitreise.

This week's issue of PB & Jason brings lots of news and lots of opinion! First up, there's some talk about GoldenEye: Reloaded, the upgraded port of the Wii game inspired by a N64 classic title, which was developed by Rare. Following that, there's my long-winded perspective on Nintendo's choice to localize Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 rather than it's upgraded version, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 Professional. The news opinion segment of PB & Jason concludes with a little bit of talk about StarFox 64 3D and the newest Namco 3DS title, Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions. In the second half of the podcast, I contrast Ms. 'Splosion Man and Bastion, and eventually move on to an unsettling reality: Ms. 'Splosion Man, a game Destructoid has given a 9.5 on a 10-point scale, features a cameo appearance by Destructoid's mascot, Mr. Destructoid. Tune in next week, same PB & Jason time, same PB & Jason place!
The crew reunites and wastes no time getting back to doing what it does best: angering the Internet with a brutal dismantling of Bastion. Plus: Sexism in Ms. Splosion Man, the failures of LA Noire, the joys of Ghost Recon 3DS, and the magnificence of Lost Odyssey. We also debut our new movie segment, and if you like surprises, well, hold onto your wigs and keys, folks. Featuring Chi Kong Lui, Brad Gallaway, Mike Bracken, and Tim "Fresh Beatz" Spaeth.
Headset Abuse: 27/07/11 We bring out the Space Marines this week as we cover Warhammer 40k: Kill Team, Darren being sucked back into World of Warcraft and Mark gets all gushy over Bastion. We also talk Ms.Splosion Man, Portal 2 and, of course, some Battlefield action alongside your emails.

This week's PB & Jason has it all! Talk about Capcom, Mega Man, (outdated) Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3! Then, there's a preview of Atlus's forthcoming title, Catherine. The preview covers a lot of content in the demo, but it also covers a little bit I believe is outside of it. After that, I yield some thoughts about Ms. 'Splosion Man, as well as how I feel the media community misrepresents the game. From there, I hop to a few PB & Jason possibilities, general PixlBit rumblings, along with a little bit of other stuff. The issue concludes with a dramatic reading of Kathrine's latest Tour de 64.

Man, the show before the big 50, and we are rockin it! Joe is back, we talk about satchels, and its a jolly-fun time! First let me put it out there that the show is so late because we aren't doing a show this week, the week of June 24th. We're taking off the week to change up the show format in time for episode 51. Next week, on Friday, July 1st, we will be doing our 1-year show, episode 50, LIVE, hopefully around 5:30-6pm Eastern Daylight time on Justin.tv. We will be taking calls, having laughs, and reminiscing our past year of podcasting. If you're anyone, you'll be there. Tell you friends, please tweet about it, and spread the word! Now, for your rundown: The show is as crazy as ever, with Joe back in the fold. Joe tells everyone about his E3 thoughts, as he wasn't here last time to do so. He didn't like Nintendo to say the least. Our mailsack is empty, but if you want a Mrs. Splosion Man beta code, I'd send us an email ASAP! We break into Weekly What's-Up with some crazy excitement about our "podcast retreat". Games this week are Duke Nukem, L.A. Noire, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Starcraft 2, and Might and Magic. We talk about tons of news, specifically Nintendo and the craziness that comes with it. We discuss PSVita's chances against the phones we see on the market. Do you think it even stands a chance? Weekly Survival continues with Pirates and Ninjas and a dismembered Evan. New releases! Don't forget to pick and crap too! Joe throws it out, and we have tons of happy endings! Check out our website, http://IrrationalPassions.com. Ok, now we are ready to talk 2011. Justin and Ethan welcome back Cole, Christina and for the first time, GiffTor. The crew previews the games of 2011 including: Batman: Arkham City, Gears of War 3, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 3, and Uncharted 3. Send in your questions to simon@horriblenight.com or @TheHorribleShow Cole returns safely to the podcast and to the midwest, just in time to welcome another Justin to the show when GiffTor shows up for our preview of the games of 2011. With 5 Threesomes of the Week to get through we still manage to make houses and the ocean sound halfway interesting. The On the Spot question laughs at our mounting pile of games yet to be played to finds out what games we still have left from 2009, and Cole reveals he only wants to play with Cole. Our 2011 Preview takes us to the end of some trilogies (Gears of War 3, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3), makes sure sure-fire predictions about the upcoming year, and proves time and time again that Christina is wrong (or outnumbered). It’s time to look back at the headlines of November and have Justin, Cole, Ethan, and Christina decide which news items actually matter. Kinect hacking, Arnold vs game ratings, and Activision playing nice are some of the stories we tackle. Send in your questions to simon@horriblenight.com or @TheHorribleShow What’s been going on the gaming industry that’s worth talking about? That’s what we try and figure out at the beginning of each month. We gotta get through our Threesomes of the Week first as Cole has discovered the first great X-Files season before we suffer a TLC invasion. streetalchemist asks our On The Spot question: What’s your planned excuse this holiday season to skip out on work/family to play more games? Where we discover not only are we liars, but we are balloonists. Among a month full of releases, what headlines actually mattered in November? We rip apart the Uncharted movie rumors and give both EA and Activision props in the same episode. What a weird month. Luckily, we make it out alive even though Christina and Justin almost come to blows over King of Kong. Save Steve Wiebe! We start off December with our much postponed co-op gaming discussion. Justin, Cole, Ethan, and Christina are joined by our guest, Coop. From Contra to Gears of War we buddy up to save the world and help you run a proper co-op gaming experience. Send in your questions to simon@horriblenight.com or @TheHorribleShow We love co-op games and have no idea why we haven’t focused on them sooner, but here we are, and what better way to talk about them than with our buddy, Coop. But first things first, and that means Threesomes of the Week. Ethan tries to calm himself with kid’s movies but just ends up getting thrown out of a bar. The On the Spot question wants to know what game do you wish had co-op? Cole misunderstands co-op for tricking a buddy into being your mule in Dragon Age. Co-op gaming not only takes a great game but players that know how to play co-op. We establish some rules to co-op gaming like no overdomination, no douchebags, and don’t take it too seriously, but in the end just end up fighting about Left 4 Dead 2, Gears of War, and Halo. Who ever said you needed to get along to co-op? The guys spill their guts this week when Justin, Cole, and Ethan unveil their games of shame. Animal Crossing, Zombie Run, flower, Cubivore, and others come out from the shadows for judgment and to face new and questionable ratings system. Send in your questions to simon@horriblenight.com or @TheHorribleShow Apologies for the audio difficulties and volume levels on this one. Let’s just say we overcompensated. Christina has the week off so the guys try and man up to face their most embarassing games. Ethan and Cole continue their grand tradition of talking through bad movies in our Threesomes of the Week. If that didn’t drive enough listeners away, the On the Spot question wants to know – What types of gamers embarass you? – where things get a bit sweaty and uncomfortable for our Warcraft friends. Let’s get this straight, we love our games of shame and we will keep right on playing them, but let’s face it there has to be a way to make them a little less shameful. Of course, there may be no hope for Ethan who once again thinks it’s ok to run around with zombies in real life. Got a question about why we are defending these games? Hit us up on our new Formspring account and see if you can save us.
